We decided to stay here towards the end of our trip as it is close to the airport and looked alright for the price. There were a few bad reviews already, but there were also some good ones. So we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Bad idea. The place looked alright when we checked in, and being really tired we didn't look too closely at the rooms at first, but rather dropped our stuff and went for dinner. The restaurant is adequate and we had a good meal. When we went up to our room for the night, we noticed that there were spots of mud on the bed (on the underside of the duvet so it wasn't immediately obvious) and my mother's bed had make-up all over the sheets from the last persons face when they had slept there. The floor was dusty and had hair all over it and so we couldn't walk around with bare feet at all. The room was much colder than any other hotel we had stayed at and the traffic noise was very loud, despite their claim on Booking.com that the room was sound-proofed. We them went down to the front desk and complained. They seemed confused and we had to take them to the room to show them what the problems were. The hotel staff asked us to view other rooms to see if we would be happier in another room, but only the fourth room they showed us was ok. We still made them clean it again before accepting it. I know this sounds fussy and we are not people who like to make a scene at all, but every room had dust and hair on the floor (you could even feel the grit beneath your shoes when you walk) or they were hastily trying to clean new rooms while showing them to us... these the staff were putting on damp sheets which was also unacceptable. Yes, they are clean but not something you want to sleep with! We would have walked out and found another hotel but they had made us pay upfront when we checked in and it was 10 pm by the time we had sorted out a new, cleaner room. Anticipating a big argument if we asked for a refund, we settled for the new room and left the next day. Besides the above, the bathroom has an open plan shower with an electricity socket within splash range of the shower stream. We did not shower here for fear of our safety. I would avoid this hotel at all costs! It is not worth the 3 stars it has and is not acceptable. If you do decide to use this hotel make sure you inspect the room before you pay, turn the sheets over thoroughly to check that the dirt isn't just concealed and make sure you are 100% satisfied before you pay.

It is located along the left side alley of House Cars Complex !!! At first, I was worried that there was no review and cheap for Indian accommodation, but there were many clean restaurants, club-like pubs, and ruins. Really nice location. Nearby clean and cheap restaurants, bar, club and also Hauz khas complex. And hostel is so clean and trendy. Best hostel in my India travel.  The best was staff of this hostel. I wonder where the excellent reviews for this hotel have come from but they definitely do not reflect the real state and situation at the hotel! The moment i reached this hotel with my family, i had a sinking feeling. Painting work was going on, the corridor was filled with junk and was extremely dirty. The room was stuffy and smelled of paint. I had to change room but the stuffiness and dirt were still around. The reception lady was ok but the rest of the staff are very unprofessional! Cleaning is hardly done...bathroom was disgusting. For two consecutive evenings, we didn't get hot water also! But worst of all, when we checked out from hotel at midnight to catch our flight, our bedsheet was brought down to reception area and we were claimed Rs500 for juice spills! Our small children were sleeping in our arms and our taxi was already here and they waited for the last minute to de***d laundry charges for a few drops of juice spilled inadvertently on the bedsheet by my kids! Such a humiliating experience. I have been to quite a few hotels but that was the first time i was de***ded laundry charges!! The most disgusting hotel and hotel staff!

Staff were all friendly but few spoke any English. On the old scale this would be a 2 and a half star hotel. For the 7 nights I stayed there, I only met one Caucasian guest. The majority were young Indian men in their 20s or 30s, with a few appearing to be in their 40s. The breakfasts and occasional dinners I ate in the dining room were basic Indian food. Breakfast also included optional toast and/or cereals, plus a single choice of cut fruit. A pot of Masala tea was available ***** with instant coffee bags and tea bags. The bed was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was clean with a good shower, although water temperature was warm, at the hottest. The room surfaces were clean but tired, as was the paint work. TV was available with a few English speaking channels. Room had an electric jug and mugs, tea and coffee bags and sugar plus powdered creamer. There was no fridge. The hotel is on a busy road, with a slip road providing easy access. It is about 400 metres (6 minute walk) from the Greater Kailash Metro station. Useful for getting around and only 35 minute taxi or Uber drive from the airport. The nearest shopping area is Nehru Place, 1 Metro stop away. However best shopping and safest food supplies are better sourced at a major supermarket, in any of the malls scattered around New Delhi. There is an excellent restaurant across the road (Pind Baluchi) in the Fabhotel JK.

My wife and I spent 7 weeks at The Sentinel and this was our second visit. The hotel is spotless and you feel a freshness as soon as you walk in. The rooms are great, spacious and very comfortable which made our stay all the more pleasant. The meals were very good. All the staff were well ***nered, polite and always willing to help with what ever our needs were. It is well situated with only a 5 minute walk away from a shopping complex that has a variety of restaurants, gift shops, super market etc. Their catering for functions is also excellent. During our stay there were birthday parties, seminars, engagements etc and all this did not affect the guests at all. it's very reasonably priced and good value for money. I highly recommend it to any one seeking he best in the Jasola area

During the past Diwali weekend, I was out partying with friends at the SDA market and after getting a bit sloshed we needed a place to crash in and play some cards at since it was the Diwali season so someone from our group recommended this hotel and we decided to go ahead with it. I haven’t stayed at and experienced a lot of hotels in Delhi but this was a pretty decent stay for the night and the amenities were upto the mark. The room was clean and really tidied up well and was perfect to host 5 people for the night. The place had a fast wifi connection which is a necessity more than a luxury nowadays and helpful staff even at late hours. The best thing I liked about this hotel was the greenery it had, after all it was located in one of the poshest colonies of Delhi. I’d love to crash here again sometime and utilise it to the fullest!

Stayed for a night at this fantastically located property and the experience was pleasant. I found the staff to be courteous and cooperative, the room service to be prompt and orderly, the food was okay too. The overall ambience is very decent. Although the rooms are a little small but it was pretty peaceful and comfortable. The toilet was neat and clean with all the essentials in place. The linen was fresh. I just found the mattress to be rather springy with a tendency to sink in a bit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone on a budget and looking to stay in a good area in proper Delhi.

The Pamposh hotel is budget hotel and clean. I got good sleep. I reserved this hotel through Jet airways with wi-fi and breakfast for two nights. On reaching at about 11 pm at hotel on 22nd January, reception person said that it is without meals. The print out said with breakfast but no meals. Reception person said that no meals means no breakfast. Then he told me that if you do not avail room through booking, he will offer me breakfast. It was all because of commission one earns. I said OK My booking was with breakfast. I took breakfast on 23rd and no breakfast on 24th. I do not know what jet airways people are doing ? I am mentioning so that travellers may be cautious while making a booking and may not be cheated. Anyway, the hotel was normal and clean. Air conditioner provided only cool air so hotel people provided heater. Breakfast provided was good and sufficient.Service was good. Lift is also not available and for person of 67 years, I could ***age fourth floor.

We booked our room here based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. We arrived at around 1.30am having flown from the UK and needed a base close to the station to go to see the Taj Mahal the next morning (7am departure). One of Ajay's team was up to greet us. There was fruit in our room and cold bottled water in the fridge. The room was clean and comfortable. The water heater had been run so we could have a hot shower and although I didn't sleep much, that wasn't their fault! A UK to India plug adapter was left on the side and there was working air con - a godsend! The next morning Ajay come to see us on our way to the station. He showed us the way and gave us advice on which platform the train would be on. The road itself is clean and safe and it is only 5 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from Humayun's tomb. That night, we wanted a takeaway and Ajay ordered our Dominos for us including chasing it up when it was running late! He had a beer put on ice for us to help us sleep! On our check-out day, we said we wanted to go to the tomb before the airport and he very kindly sent me a WhatsApp message with directions, map points, Tuk Tuk prices (useful for when they tried to overcharge us) but he also recommended us visiting Ghandi's assassination spot which we hadn't realized was there or achieveable in the time we had. When we go back he ordered our taxi and packed us on our way. The host really does make this place - he was so kind to us and so genuine. Also, have the Indian eggs and paratha for breakfast... I've neve had such tasty eggs! I hope to come back with my family in the future as this was a work trip, catching some tourism at the start before the work started. My colleague echoes my sentiments here too! Thank you Ajay and team!

It’s not too good. Other friends recommended me to live. The female dormitory has a separate bathroom. Many foreigners live in this house. I stayed for 4 days and the roommates who happened to be staying in were all Germans. My friends would often gather in the courtyard to chat, or chat on the top floor of yoga, or watch TV in the lobby. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. Three meals are also available in the hotel. It costs Indian meals so I haven’t tried it. The service staff is very nice, and it feels like a university dormitory. Stayed for a few days and it was very relaxing. There is a subway station nearby, making it easy to go anywhere.

We chose this hotel based on prior reviews and because we wanted proximity to use the metro. We stayed here just for one night although it appears this place is good for long duration stays. It is a small hotel located at Saket, and most of the surrounding area is very residential. The metro is about a 15-20 min walk through different blocks of Saket. And, the DLF mall is also a 15-20 min walk in another direction opening up shopping and eating options.(Their foodcourt has Haldirams, Subway, Dominos, Sagar Ratna, etc) Our check-in was smooth, and they were very helpful in allowing us to switch rooms (since we were a couple with a child, preferred a King-size single bed while the first room had two double beds). The furniture and fittings appear slightly dated although they were largely functional. Room had an electric kettle that allowed us to heat up water. Housekeeping provided us RO water - did see a mineral water dispenser on the floor though the water bottle was missing (maybe just that day!!). The AC functioned fine. The bathroom was not very large but the shower curtain helped to keep water only in the shower area. Basic toiletries and towels were provided - we got additional supplies on request. The toilet as well as the shower worked fine, including the water temperature. (Although the handshower attached to the toilet was on the wrong side, but we ***aged since it was just a one day stay) We didnt dine at the hotel but opted to go out to the mall nearby, where options are aplenty (albeit a tad expensive). Breakfast was complimentary and while there appeared to be a buffet area, we were offered specific items (possibly because the hotel did not have enough occupancy to justify a buffet). The aloo parathas and Puri bhaaji were well made. While they were unable to accommodate a late check out, they did keep our luggage safe so we could go around town and come back to collect the same and leave to the airport. We saw autos around the area, but we stuck to Uber/Ola which also came by quickly. If it fits your purpose, this would be a good choice of a hotel (particularly if proximity to metro is useful).

I met the nicest people in this hostel. The rooms were great it was similar to living in a aparmtne full of strangers who became family. There was hot water and no problem in waiting for an empty restroom. The rooms were in good conditions and the food was amazing! The patio upstairs has a great view and you can sit and relax either on the swing, the fake grass, or on the top of the roof where you can see the Qutub Minar. The view was breathtaking and peacful. IT is also a great work place for someone who is trying to find a quiet place. I will definitly reecom***d. The price is perfect also for back pkacers and about a 20min drive from the airport. On our second visit as guests for a marriage function, we felt just as comfortable as our last visit, some 3 months back. And we could notice fine tuning as far as food wastage prevention, cleaning, parking, security, and outdoor heaters arrangement were concerned. Two separate marriage functions went ahead side by side and still there was adequate space available for both parties. Most importantly, our oversight caused certain dresses left in one of the rooms, only to be recalled 2 days later. But as was expected, they had kept it safe and we could collect later. This place is ***aged in a way, to give you no surprises. Your experiences and expectations will all be repeated with textbook accuracy. I believe they have mastered the art and style of all aspects of a complete marriage function. We attended the same, twice. We wish all the seasons greetings to the staff.
