I love this hotel. Booking hotels really stresses me out. I always worry that it won’t be as advertised. Thank goodness I found The Frederick. A friend recommended it and I’ve now stayed there twice. I like the location. I like the hotel. I love the vibe. Easy access to a Starbucks and the subway. The neighborhood is pretty quiet at night. My most recent visit was just a quick 1 night stay but I wished I could stay longer. One of my fav things is that the room AC works very well and my room gets nice and cold…I love a cold hotel room. The bathrooms have cool map tile work in the showers. It isn’t noisy. Like I don’t hear people next door or milling about in the hallway. Mery checked me in and she was lovely. Honestly, everyone I’ve ever interacted with has been delightful. I just love the coziness of a boutique hotel.

The room is small and cannot accommodate an extra bed. The location is excellent, and the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Ground Zero and other attractions are within walking distance; the subway station has Fulton Station, and the Municipal Park can take the Park Station on Lines 2 and 3. There are slippers and an electric kettle can ask the front desk. The downstairs bar is good. There are many places to buy breakfast around the hotel, and there is a supermarket to buy fruit drinks.

The hotel is in a good environment, off the Wall Street, there is a subway station on the side. American hotels basically do not have a hot water bottle. Many people recommend multi-day travel with an electric kettle to boil water (of course, the conversion plug is necessary). The hotel does not have toothbrushes and slippers and needs to bring your own. Other hangers are available, the hotel is equipped with an iron, ironing is convenient

Unfortunately there are not many positive things to say about my stay at the Roxy Hotel. For the price they charge for the accommodation, along with the additional taxes and other fees, you would think some amenities would be supplied, but that is not the case. There are no drink making facilities in the room, I imagine so that guests are then left with no option but to purchase drinks from their bar or coffee shop. Even something as simple as being supplied with water in the room comes at a fee - purchasing it from their mini bar at $6 for a small bottle. On check in, you are also charged a hold to your card of $200 a night security deposit! This is an extortionate amount which was not disclosed anywhere during the booking process on Expedia. For my stay of 9 nights this left me in a position of having to get my family to transfer me money in order to actually be able to do anything on my trip! I also got charged a room service fee on check out, despite having paid the waiter who brought this to my room in cash, with additional tip! I queried this on check out and was told they would look to find the receipt. Not only did I find this quite appalling that they did not accept what I was saying to them as truth, I have not heard anything further from them but they have been quite happy to charge my card for the amount! The two positives about my stay is that one, the location was great with easy access to the subway and bars and restaurants close by. The second, was Donald. This gentleman who worked alongside the front desk staff was fantastic. He was so friendly and helpful and always went out of his way to say hello and see how I was. I could not say enough good things about him and he is a shining light at the hotel.

I really would have liked to enjoy my stay here more, there was no issues with staff. And I was so busy that I did not have time to bring up my grievances, but my air-conditioning did not cooperate when I put in a certain temp/ settting- it would not change. There was also multiple light fixture issues that left my room dark and difficult to navigate. You should also refresh toiletries daily as part of the cleaning service, as I would return to my room each day to find no fresh water and no fresh shampoo/conditioner despite my bottles being empty.

The location is very good, go out and walk to Wall Street in five minutes. The hotel room is small, you have to be prepared, but the bed is big. Living with friends, when I went out for a walk at night, I walked to the cruise ship ferry in New York. There is a free boat ride to take you to New York Island for a turn and then back. If you are going to play by yourself, it is recommended to sit down.

As a hotel choice near the airport, I think it is very good. Clean, everything that should be there. You can order the hotel’s meal and it will be delivered directly to the door. It’s hard to say how it tastes, but it’s good to deliver it to the door. The airport shuttle bus is very convenient. It runs every half an hour. Just go to the front desk to talk about it five minutes in advance.

It's okay to stay alone for one night, the room is not large, the breakfast is not much, and it can barely cope. This hotel is not suitable for a few days; the security is OK [Advantages]: Very close to the airport, there is a microwave in the room! !! !! !! And a kettle! !! The hotel provides a free bus to take you to the airport, every 4 hours from 4 am to 11:30 am; every hour from 12 noon to 2 pm. However, there are many black people in this hotel. Among the five or six hotels I have stayed in, there are more black people. The composition of the people in the hotel is about 70% to 75% white Asians and 25% to 30% blacks. I only stayed for one night. It feels safe for me, but it is best not to stay for a long time. no problem

It is a general motel class hotel. However, their pick-up service was particularly good. After getting off the baggage, they called the front desk. The car arrived in about 3 minutes. I have not seen such a fast pick-up service after so many places. I have to pay special awards. Breakfast..... not how, don't expect too much.

The hotel is very good, about 5-10 minutes walk from the subway station, near the NW line, a little farther away from the E, NQRW line. The overall style of the hotel was old and retro. At the beginning, I was afraid of noisy on the second floor (actually soundproofed). The hotel helped me to switch to a 12-room room with a balcony. Finally, when checking out, the average weekly service tax of about 20 knives is collected every day.

The room facilities are complete and pleasant. Free yoga mats and foam shafts are provided. Morning and evening workouts can be played on the TV. Everything is related to the concept of fitness. However, the service of the restaurant electric lemon was really bad. When the breakfast was taken, the waiter gave the menu and left. No one came to ask for coffee or tea. After a few minutes to prepare the order, I couldn't find the waiter ... … Finally stopped a waiter passing by, I said I was ready to order, and she was still unhappy to ask me Are we in a rush? The longest Check-in and check-out waiting time. Parking fee plus additional fees totaled to $135! We had the deluxe king room. The size of the room is okay. It was pretty clean. Hair dryer we had was not functioning, no room slippers, no laundry bag; per housekeeping, they don’t do laundry. So they gave us a trash bag instead. Overall experience was quite disappointing, maybe we just expected too much from Hyatt hotel.

Times Square
There are not many people who comment on it. The hotel is on 49th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues. The roads in Manhattan are easy to recognize, just right and street. Start on Fifth Avenue and then sixth, seventh, Broadway and eighth. In the middle is the street. The Port Authority's main station (that is, the coach station) is on 42nd Street, Times Square is on 47th Street, and the subway can be a 50th Street station, very close. A lot of food nearby (Ichiran Ramen, Shake Burger, Michelin Steak House). The hotel is not a well-known brand in the chain, it is relatively small and not luxurious, but the price is not cheaper than the surrounding Marriott or the like. Last year, I stayed at Marriott very large. The exterior looks larger and more luxurious than this. After all, his infrastructure is very early. But this good place is closer to Times Square than the quiet Marriott there, rooms have microwaves, coffee machines, free fruit and apples, bananas, potato chips, ice water for 24 hours downstairs. There is coffee and tea on the second floor, and friends can sit there. There are slippers, umbrellas and toiletries in the room. L'Occitane. These are not available in American hotels. Dental appliances are not. I booked an agent's twin room at Ctrip at first, which was 500 yuan cheaper than the official website. There are two types of twin beds on the official website. One is ordinary and the other is a barrier-free room with a handrail. The difference between these two types is 500. The double bed marked on Ctrip did not say that it was an accessible room. I booked Ctrip for a small farmer. The fact that I got the room was a barrier-free room, and that 500 was not bad. And it was very low on the third floor. It was super dark in high-rise New York. I went to the front desk to upgrade the suite. The front desk gave me a good discount and added me 50 dollars a day. Hall, bedroom with double bed, double sofa bed in the hall, both bath and shower, and 3 cloakrooms with bathrobe hangers. Ctrip's hotel booking is really very metaphysical, the price and official website are not bad, the room type is difficult to determine, I have learned lessons before. Anyway, the hotel location is convenient and the facilities can be serviced or not. The price is not bad. People do not look at their choices. There is a parking lot on the side of the hotel, and you can also park on behalf of the guests. On the side is the Ambassador Theater staged by Ryoko Micura of Chicago, which is opposite the Mormon Theater.

I moved from a Times Square hotel where my room was old and the size of a closet to the Renaissance Chelsea. I used points for the stay and the manager Jessica greeted me by name and told me that she had been working on my reservation and was happy to upgrade me to a suite. They offered the standard points and also offered points in lieu of breakfast, along with a late checkout. This was wonderful and much appreciated. What I appreciated even more was the beautiful, spacious, clean suite with a fabulous view of the Empire State Building and New York City. Beautiful art throughout and nice clean furniture. Even though the room as ADA, it was still nice and I felt so relaxed in this space vs coming from a space that was brown, small, noisy and hot/humid. Oh, they also gave me a brand new (still in the package) compact umbrella for the threatening evening rain. - I will definitely stay here on my next trip to NYC!

Together with the family, the surroundings of the hotel are not too good, messy, but the location is good. There is a private parking lot nearby, and it is said that the charge for 40 days a day is only a question related to the repeated collection of service fees. Fortunately, Ctrip has solved it.

very good. I did not expect that hotels in the United States could achieve this level. Arrived at the peak of the stay on Friday afternoon, I was told that I had to wait an hour to go to the restaurant next to my lunch. When I asked again, I was upgraded to a suite. It is much better than the St Regis service in Florence, and the breakfast is just fine. The typical American breakfast, which can eat 50%, is very good. Oh. Breakfast is a single point~ Shopping for a meal is recommended to go to the northeast for 3 minutes to Madison Ave, better than Fifth Avenue, too few people.

We stayed here during our trip for five days. This was our first time in New York City and it was exceptional. Since it was the first time visiting, I spent weeks researching hotels looking at neighborhoods, reviews, room types, everything! I’m so happy we decided on The Gotham! From the front desk to the restaurant there were no issues. Everyone was very helpful, attentive, and kind. The pictures are exactly like the rooms. We stayed in the king balcony room on the back side of the building which was really cool and quiet. We also stayed in the queen balcony room because we didn’t do our dates correctly lol and thankfully they had a room open. Looking out on the balcony in the queen room was awesome. We are returning over Christmas and have rebooked the queen balcony room and I can’t wait! This room is noisier but it’s not to the point of not being able to sleep. My husband and I live in the country surrounded by cow fields so if I can sleep with the noise level anyone can!

I read a lot of comments and chose this hotel. I really didn't choose the wrong one. The location is very good, whether it is a long-distance bus or subway, or take the airport bus to the airport, or want to go to the Grand Central Railway Station, very close. . . There is also Times Square. . . At the intersection of 41st Street and Madison Avenue, the door is small, mainly the name on the door is written in a special font, which made us not notice when we first went there. 200 meters away from the New York City Public Library, which is not 200 meters away from Fifth Avenue, it is not necessary. There are three types of rooms in the hotel, which are about 19, 25, and 33 square meters, and 19 is relatively small. I booked 25 for the second night, but the order information sent by Ctrip to the hotel was wrong. The first night I checked in was the 19 room. It was very late to react. The size of the room was wrong. I coordinated with the front desk and Ctrip. Ctrip immediately found the problem and made compensation, and moved to the largest room of 33 the next day. If it is a single person, the room of 19 is enough. For two people, the baggage can't be opened, and it can only be put to the bedside. In addition, in particular, after the store, the hotel charges a fee of 20 US dollars per day. This fee is breakfast, all-day coffee snacks, afternoon tea, which is very worthwhile. Especially afternoon tea, with cheese, fruit, a variety of small snacks, red and white wine and champagne. . . . In addition, this location is on 41st Street, when the 99th Street in Central Park in New York is basically a full 2km. I ran in the morning and ran another 10km in Central Park. I am very happy. Central Park is a must-see for everyone who loves sports. Running, cycling, and dog-walking are all very good. . .
