Stayed for 3 nights, ate breakfast and dinner each day. The rooms are clean and don’t seem very old, I’m sure they are not new by any means which is testament to the upkeep of the place. The shower was good, decent pressure and plenty hot. There was a minibar in my room which was a nice touch. Not sure if that’s the standard. The gym is well equipped especially for a hotel gym, lots of machines and better than usual free weights selection for a hotel gym. The spinning area with the virtual cycle routes was also fantastic! The pool is clean but probably too warm to do any serious swimming in, nice to relax in after a tough day all the same. The restaurant was not cheap but in saying that I feel the food was worth the money. Nicely prepared and quality ingredients. Breakfast was also really good! The only thing that let the hotel down was the service was slow in the bar/restaurant. I’m not sure was this due to the fact it is a hotel geared towards rest and relaxation but I would have appreciated speedier service. The service while slow was good all the same and the staff were polite The hotel in general is very impressive and I would stay here again.

Centrally located hotel: 10,minutes walk from station, right next to shopping street, lots of restaurants nearby. Huge room with small hallway where separate toilet (very modern) is situated. Bathroom small, but adequate: triangular shower stall with good jet and plenty of hot water. Handbasin with 2 drawers underneath, mirror & shelf; hairdryer; proper towel rack. Bedroom itself has seating area, big desk and plenty of room to walk round. Two boxspring beds, comfortable matress, pillow not so good. Breakfast is served in the small lobby. Given that the space is not big, there is quite a good selection at the breakfast buffet. Cereals, different types of bread, various cut meats and cheeses, loads of the sweet stuff the Dutch love so much. Fruit juice from a carton and tinned fruit. Coffee machine and teabag selection. Friendly guy in reception.

I had the charity suite which was one of the most interesting rooms I’ve ever had. Moderate size, the whole sink outside the bathroom was a little weird but hey, that’s what makes manna stand out- it’s unique character. It was the opposite of everything I’ve been used too- check in was super strange having a waiter do it for me, breakfast was 2 doors down the road, the room was quite interesting- shower and toilet in one, sink in the bedroom. The steps and oh then a little more. And I wouldn’t want it any other way- that’s what made the hotel so interesting . The waiter who checked me in to the hotel did it way quicker than most hotels and with such a smile- he was literally thankful I chose manna. A waiter. What a nice guy.....and the uniqueness of the hotel made it such a great stay. The staff were one of the nicest and genuine I’ve seen. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Arrived at the hotel after an overnight flight and a 11/2 hour, pleasant drive from Amsterdam. The hotel is located in one of the most commercial, tourist streets of Nijmegen, where you can find great coffee houses, super restaurants, close to the Waal River and the Walkaade and Casino. In an amazing coincidence, the owner is a good friend of an old friend of mine, now living in Thailand. The hotel is very, very quaint, exceedingly historical but also well appointed and very comfortable. Interestingly enough, we were not disturbed by rowdy Nijmegen party goers as was my recollection from a long time ago. The elevator is a n experience one must have while staying at the hotel. Across the street is a very good coffee shop and down the road, you'll find a great fish and chips staal as you enter the park. This hotel takes in one of the oldest houses in Nijmegen, dating back thundreds of years with immense windows and an expansive room. Truly pleasant

Stayed 5 nights in the top floor apartment with balcony, overlooking a tree lined boulevard, and in our case, with the sofa bed already set up to accommodate our third person daughter who was currently doing an overseas student placement at nearby Radboud University. Our room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel, with efficient and friendly room servicing each day if required, and a self catering kitchen sufficient to prepare breakfasts and light meals. The hotel was just perfect for our needs, with a well stocked supermarket around the corner, and a location almost at the main gateway to the old town with numerous restaurants, cafes, shops and sites of interest all within easy walking distance. We were cosy, very comfortable and totally insulated from other guests, and there was very little external noise - we love our quiet and our room certainly provided that. John happily both collected us from, and dropped us of at, Nijmegen Station - and ferried our somewhat heavy luggage up the stairs - a much appreciated service plus. John, Lisa and his team were always friendly but unobtrusive, and quick to provide advice or information when needed. The recommendation to a fine Japanese restaurant a cab ride away made for a memorable 21st birthday celebration with our daughter - thanks John! Would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Oranjestaete again.

We stayed for one night, occupying the Water Room (Boat Themed) and the 1001 Nights (Arabian Themed) and had a splendidly unusual night! We were lucky enough to be there during unseasonably good weather and after check in, which consisted of introductions then being handed a room key before being shown to our rooms, we sat on deck taking in the sunshine and some light refreshments. In fairness, the rooms were smaller than the average hotel room but their Quirky decor more than made up for that! Each had an en suite & shower, however the Arabian room only had swing saloon doors but there are two separate toilets along the passage way should you need a bit more privacy! Breakfast was a continental platter with freshly baked rolls and we finished by drinking coffees on the deck. A memorable experience that we will probably talk most about after this trip.

The Rotterdam Hilton is more than a thousand points a night. The room is very spacious and the decoration is very elegant. Although the facilities are not very new, I don’t understand it. Why don’t the Dutch use the domestic Philips TV set and use the LG of the Kimchi country? Hotel location is good, 10 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station, behind the hotel is the shopping center, walking to the arched market box house is only 15 minutes. The scenery outside the window is good, although it faces the main road, it is not noisy. The breakfast is rich, but mainly based on Western food, the dining environment is comfortable. The downside is that if you don't pay attention, you will be connected to the VIP network. Of course, you have to pay.

The shower design is not suitable for children and can not be removed when fixed on the wall. The other is satisfied and the room is very spacious. The service is also very good. Originally we had the opposite of the premier suites plus, the flight was cancelled and the first day failed to check in. We were told that our room was cancelled and the prepayment hotel refused the refund. At that time, I contacted Ctrip to help us change Marriott. Marriott's service is obviously more. This is the first hotel we stayed on this business trip, and the only one with breakfast. Breakfast is buffet, relatively simple, almost the same choice every day. The buns are delicious, with some slices of ham and cheese, and a fruit salad. I like the milk cereal area. I make a bowl of chocolate milk cereal every morning, but the milk is not too hot. Breakfast is full. Check-in on the first day, because I arrived earlier, I waited until 6 o'clock until 11 o'clock, I couldn't check in because the rooms were not cleaned up. After leaving the Rotterdam Central Station, turn left and go through 2 small intersections. The facade is small. It rains in the dark. It is not easy to find. It is easy to find during the day. Close to the train station, the transportation is convenient, and there are many shopping malls around, but the same things are much more expensive than those in Germany. There is no wardrobe, it is open, and the hanger cannot be taken off. Bring your own toiletries and slippers, but have a kettle. The heating is good, neither cold nor hot, and the temperature is the most comfortable in the three homes.

First of all, I was completely attracted by the appearance of this hotel when I picked the hotel. I accidentally saw the work of OMA Design Office. I feel good and recommend staying. The design is relatively simple and has extremes. Some people say that "too transparent" feels can be seen outside every move, just pull the curtains, the room view is great, especially the sunrise and sunset, the staff is very polite and professional, and it is not ignored for the Chinese And other phenomena. There is Tram downstairs, which is convenient to go anywhere, originally Rotterdam is not big. There is a "Happy Italy" recommended downstairs, coffee and bread for breakfast and a few glasses of wine and beer for dinner. All in all a pleasant stay ~

It doesn't feel as good as it was written in the evaluation, the facilities are average, and the rooms are generally not too big. The location is remote and suitable for driving there, parking is free, this is rare. There are stains on the sheets, I don’t know if they have not been changed or washed, and the sofa is not clean, so the sanitary condition feels very average. The service was very good. Someone came to repair the refrigerator immediately. Because of the epidemic, there was no breakfast, so there was no way to comment.

The location is very good, go straight out from the train station and walk for about 15 minutes. All the way along the river, pulling the box in the past will not be too painful. It’s also very convenient to go to the downtown box house. You can walk (Rotterdam is too suitable for walking, there are surprises everywhere). The hotel reception is very polite. We have all the rooms in the past few days, and we have given a room on the first floor, but it would be better if we could live on a high floor. The room is not particularly new, but the comfort is very high, the room is large, the bed is comfortable, and there is a kettle~ Breakfast is plentiful, croissants and a variety of small breads are delicious. After visiting the city numerous times over the last couple of years, I genuinely consider the Thon Hotel Rotterdam the best hotel in order to trully enjoy a safe and convenient stay, at least from my point of view. The main reason for that is the location. Near enough to the center of the city so as to visit stores/shops or places to eat (mainly around Witte de With or Markthal - 10 minutes on foot), yet in a very quiet neighbourhood ideal for strolls or even long walks. Even when I have about half an hour to spare, I particularly enjoy walking to the gorgeous Het Park or crossing the bridge for an opposite view of the city. Moreover, most museums are near the hotel and it always feels very safe even after midnight/early morning. I have stayed in a variety of rooms at the Thon Hotel and they all share a spectacular view and I would recommend the Riverview suite in order to get the most of it, at a fair price, again in my opinion. In addition, the Hotel is clean and everyone at the reception is polite and helpful. What is more, there is a metro station nearby or a tram line (no7), connecting the hotel to Rotterdam Centraal station. I would definately recommend the Thon Hotel Rotterdam to those that seek a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We stayed in a family room. It was excellent-spacious, well-equipped and clean. A nice touch was a night-light which creates a kind of night sky on the ceiling of the room in varying colours and patterns. A lounge on the 2nd level exists where you can eat take away food or ordered food and also have breakfast (available from the 24h mini market on a pay-per-item basis). This was very convenient. The location is ideal if you need to be downtown Rotterdam. Parking is available on-site but you need to reserve in advance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little difficult to find, the building is quite narrow and unassuming from the outside and there is just a small sign on the side.
