|9.72km from city centerWe had a wonderful week at Grand Luley. Very kind staff. Lovely people. Rooms need renovation but everything was working and it was clean. Nice walk to the jetty. Restaurant was really good but we had to wait before being served. Great balinese massage at spa. We had a very nice captain for boat trip to Bunaken or Siladen. Not from grand Luley. Much cheaper. Grand Luley is in a remote area but we had a wonderful week !

The receptionists, security, Chef, and all staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean and quite spacious, even for the smallest room type. |15.7km from city centerJust spent a fantastic week at Onong resort. Everything went smoothly upon arrival and the staff were extremely hospitable. We went for full board and were not disappointed by the amazing fresh food and impressive variety offered in the menu with different choices all week for lunch and dinner. The dives were also great and the snorkelling right off the beach is some of the best I have seen. It’s nice to see such abundant marine life. The local village behind the resort is well worth a wander and you can follow the path to the Siladen resort for sundowners. Don’t expect a luxury resort but for us it was perfect. Quiet, but the attentive staff and beautiful surroundings made it a very special experience.

I stayed in the upper floor but yet I still can hear traffic sound and music from the surrounding bars. Room is clean and the service is good. I’ve to mention they serve the same breakfast every day and it was so crowded during the eid holiday. One minus point for breakfast. Overall, a nice hotel in manado.

|0.54km from city centerWe stayed at the Swiss Belhotel in Manado a few years ago and it was so good we decided to stay there again in May / June 2023. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the facilities are very clean and there’s a nice pool area which is usually very quiet. The breakfast has a good choice and the room service is really good. The thing that makes it special here are the staff they are really attentive and happy to help. We needed to renew our Visas at Immigration and it’s not the easiest process but the reception manager Yonathan and Marvin drove us to the office and literally did everything for us from providing the sponsorship letter and downloading the forms and help us complete the process. Can’t thank Swiss Belhotel in Manado enough for a lovely stay and for all your help your staff are amazing. Thank you Fiona & Darren

I will hit the TV, the facilities are a bit old, breakfast is just like the best thing, the only thing is that there is a net red infinity pool, you can watch the sunset and sunrise, many girls come to take pictures, but at the end of the evening, Shunde fishing port begins to smoke. |4.52km from city centerWe had 2 wonderful weeks staying at New NDC. This place was considered our first home in Manado under the previous management as we had been coming every year since 1997. As this was a diving trip, we had more luggage than normal and they provided more low tables to place the luggage on. The lights in the bathroom and the walk-in closet were dim and it turn out it was faulty and replaced on the same day. The room was big with a king sized bed, the bathroom had bathtub as well as shower cubicle. Service staff was friendly and hospitable. We were treated as family. As a 4 star hotel, it puts out 5 star meals. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves everyday! Looking forward to return here and seeing everyone again. Many thanks for hosting us.!! 😘😘

But the receptionist and all the staff were nice. At the beginning we enter the building in the basement, where was the elevator, it was really smell smoke. And the floor where was our room also smell smoke. The first room we got actually was nice with the sea view. But the AC was too noise. So we moved to other room. But unfortunetly there was no hot water. The breakfast was simple, but the place where we had breakfast was in the roof with the nice view

|0.61km from city centerBreakfast has bread, rice, fish and meat (less variety), fried eggs, noodles, something like soup, juice, milk, coffee, tea. Most of them are slightly spicy, and there is no tomato sauce in the local tomato sauce. I am not used to children (16 years old) to eat okay. No one was eating at the hotel for dinner. We ate two times and it was too long to wait. There is food waste in the trash can of the bedroom, so the ants are recruited. I don't know why their hair dryer is not on the wall. The garbage bin of the bathroom is not placed near the toilet with a similarly cleaned nozzle (there are nozzles in all local toilets that are not accustomed to use). I don't want them to hang up the ”Do Not Disturb” cards every day. If they clean up, they will put a tip under the pillow and they will take it away. The hotel has the same name as the domestic plug, and there is actually no conversion plug! The pillow is uncomfortable and always collapses with our Suwan latex pillow. The lobby staff will not be able to speak Chinese or English, or use translation software to communicate. The hotel does not need a face towel to bring it, the toiletries are also very good. The toothbrush is very hard and the handle is very soft. There is a safe in the refrigerator. Going upstairs to take the elevator requires a room card! The hotel's bathroom, exterior, breakfast, pool, hall, bedroom balcony shot still on the sunset. The morning video is for reference only!

|1.01km from city centerWe were September /Oct. 2023 in all three diving sites of Bastianos. We can recommend Bstianos fully. All facilities are in good to very good condition. Diving with Bastianos was excellently organized at all three sites. We had a fixed diving guide for the duration of the stay at each location. The allocation of max. 4 divings is perfect. Therefore it was possible to respond to our wishes. The submarine world of Sulawesi is very interesting and varied. Unique living beings and varied diving places simply make huge fun. Also the support by Bastianos in problems was excellent. Thank you very much to all teams: organization kitchen and diving bases. Specially to the team in Manado and Gina.

I swear this hotel is very good, from the outside it is quite ordinary, just enter the lobby design of its star 4, the service makes me stars 5, the elevator is comfortable not making it a headache, clean from the hotel, the hallway is on the carpet, unique room, the pillow is not expensive, The lights are not too dim, the mirrors are everywhere, the toilet is the thing that makes me comfortable, the water is smooth. Good bangeeeeeet! , the service from the restaurant is friendly, the food is also delicious. Anyway it's good. I can keep pinging here

Room is very dirty, all toilet area are yelowish, lots of stain in bathroom mirror, lots of ants and mosquitos. I tried to complaint to front desk but they said that the ants and mosquitos inside the room is normal at their open boutique hotel. The telephone at the room is not working so i have to use my mobile to contact reservation. Most of the staff has poor attitude, lots of school trainee that obviously NOT being train well by the staff but seems they just using them. For me the number one problem of this hotel is poor Team Member Attitude and Management Leadership and it is affecting the whole hotel operations especially CLEANLINESS. Cleaning the rooms is easy and not expensive all you need is team work, attention to details and daily monitoring. I dont hate the hotel and the team, this is just another form of love which is caring, I care so that i complained. Hope this message will reach the Management Team and Hotel Owner, because I believe Hotel Minahasa has great potential if you guys can manage it well.

Manado stayed in the most satisfied one of the three hotels, which is much better than the Sheraton.
Facilities: The hotel is very new, and the facilities are also very new. There is a usb port at the head of the bed, the socket does not need an adapter, and a hair dryer is missing.
Environment: The hotel is surrounded by the old city. Take a taxi to the beach for two or three kilometers, and the hotel can also see the sea.
