Breakfast is the same every day, with grilled sausages, toast, toasted tomatoes, cheese and ham slices, as well as fruits and so on. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes walk from High Street Kensington Tube Station. Step by step, the room is too small, so small that you can't imagine, it is not as good as the domestic hotel standard room! In addition, remind everyone that the fixed room must be a standard room double bed, larger than the big bed room!
Good central location only a short walk from Kensington High Street. We didn't eat in the hotel or go to the bar so can't comment on the food or anything.
We found a lovely cafe round the corner serving great value breakfast, highly recommend the Muffin Man
My husband and I traveled to the UK on a 3 week holiday and stayed at the Seraphine hotel at Kensington High Street in London for three nights. We were absolutely blown away by the customer service we received from Mr. Aranit. Mr. Aranit met us on day one with a smile and helped us carry our luggage to our room. He quickly assessed that our oversized (sorry, we're American) luggage would not fit in the room that we had rented. Instead of just leaving us to our own devises, he promptly found a room that was configured in a much more spacious way. Next day, we found ourselves without a wine bottle opener. Mr. Aranit (who was still working from the night before) gladly devised a makeshift bottle opener and we were able to enjoy the rest of our night. Day three... Mr. Aranit is still working (the man is a machine), we found ourselves in a much more serious pickle when the rail workers decided to go on strike and we needed to find a way to the airport. He spent over an hour *(while also handling other customers) procuring our cab for us. Oh, and not just any cab... a freaking Mercedes limo!!! We've traveled all over the world and were so impressed with Mr. Aranit and the Seraphine hotel. So grateful for his kindness / hard work. We left thankful and inspired.
The location is not far from the subway station, and the environment is very quiet in the residential area. There are many shops on the way to the subway station to facilitate the purchase. Unless otherwise requested, breakfast is generally a continental English breakfast. Hotel waiters are all foreigners, except our boss is our compatriots who can communicate in Chinese
Perfect location, the kitchen and all the other rooms were beautifully put together. Everything was high quality and felt like a home with the most comfortable beds I have slept in outside my own home. I travel frequently with the family and Cheval Maison really stood out. Saving the best to last, it was the staff that elevated the whole experience and made it a stay to remember for the whole family. My children are very sociable and made it a habit to greet the staff every time we went past reception, because they were made to feel so welcome and were so inviting. I wish to praise all the staff and in particular Kate, Gurpreet, Richa, Alison and Milena. Travelling with children can be tiring and even tricky at times and they were all both naturally friendly and exceptionally trained to make the whole stay comfortable and everything ran smoothly.
Great location in Kensington on a fairly quiet side street (Lexham Gardens). Many restaurants, shops and services on Cromwell, which is nearest major street. Easy tube trip to Heathrow Airport (I used Gloucester Road tube station). Sainsbury's Supermarket a 5 minute walk. Easy check in. Small elevator lift. Hotel room bath tub was difficult getting out of (too high). Rainfall shower head. Good bed. Quiet. Dorm size refrigerator. Good street view from windows. Black out curtains. Safe in closet. Decent number of cable stations on TV. Carpet needs update. Good price. Overall a good stay.

The room is clean, the ventilation system is good, and the sound insulation is ideal
Comfortable and clean bed and pillows
The bathroom cannot be separated from wet and dry
Shower curtains are useless, not enough room to hang clothes but acceptable at this price
The toilets are narrow, the rooms are small, the sound insulation is poor, and the noise is constant all night. The elevator can only reach the first floor and above. The UG cannot reach, and it is extremely inconvenient to carry the luggage. Check your luggage for £ 3 each.
The hotel is centrally located, about 15 minutes to the subway station.

Call it closet size or a storage room, you have to see it to believe how small the room at this hotel are. As a solo business traveler, I could barely keep my luggage in the room, leave alone if I had to open it as there was no space for that luxury! Luckily I was staying alone, as I cant imagine being in this tiny space with a partner/spouse. As soon as I checked in, I requested the staff to change my room as the room was claustrophobic(window was facing inner side of the hotel, facing the opposite room) and for the lack of space. As expected I was told the hotel is full and they will consider my request the next day once they have guests checking out. I had a colleague from work with me, staying in a different room who had checked in at the same time and his room had air conditioning/ cooling problem. He too requested for a change of room immediately after I did and his requested was granted. What that told me was the hotel surely had some rooms available at the time I had made a change request. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and requested for a change of rooms for my first three days and always got the same response. After that I just gave up! Being a Platinum Marriott Bonvoy member, I also requested the hotel that I don't need an upgrade- I just need a different room in the same category as clearly the room I had was the smallest from the collection of small rooms that they have in this category. I did see the 2 rooms my colleague was moved into which still small by any standard, felt like large suites in comparison to my room 102. In the first three days, while this charade went on with the reception staff, I was told the manager will call me to discuss as she was never available at the reception when I was there. I never received that call in the 5 nights I stayed there. In terms of amenities, this hotel does not have iron/iron board in the room. These have to be requested and when I did, i was told that all of them were taken and as soon as one is available, it will be provided. You might have guessed it, it was never available for me during the 5 day/night stay. To top it all, the hotel has not given the Bonvoy points correctly which I have raised with Marriott separately. I usually stay at Marriot Kensington, which is right across from this hotel and as that was fully booked I picked this hotel. I hope I never have to stay at Xenia again and it surely does not deserve to be part of Marriott portfolio. My stays at Courtyard have been much more pleasant. One positive was the breakfast and the staff managing the restaurant. Surely the staff at the reception and housekeeping needs to learn from the restaurant staff.
