We have lived in the area for a while and often walked past the hotel but never visited. A cold windy Monday night saw us looking for somewhere different to eat and we chose L’Haras. So pleased we did. Paul the barman and maitre d’hotel was very welcoming and after a pleasant G & T at the bar showed us to our table. I had the Raviole with langoustine and Dashi broth. Very pleasant but not overwhelming. My husband had the Scallop Ceviche and raved about it. Delicate with consistent flavour throughout meant a big thumbs up. We then moved to the Paleron de beouf cooked for 72 hrs in the style of beouf bourguignon served in small Staub cocottes - wow. So tender with seasonal vegetables steeped in the jus of the beef. This was paired with the house Bordeaux which Paul recommenced and was a perfect match. Paul also recommended that we try the Corsican Pinot Noir which we had with our shared dessert of rhum baba. The wine was sensational and nothing like a Bourgogne - my favourite The chef Matthiu Marti was to be applauded for producing such great fare on a Monday night - never well patronised in Paris. For an unexpected pleasure in the suburbs of the Haut Seine I cannot recommend this place enough

We came here for 4 nights by coach from Bournemouth, the ride over 15 hours in a coach was rather long but because we were friends and had a lot to catch up on it made our journey bearable, i must admit when we eventually got to the hotel we wasnt dissapointed, it was quaint and in a fabulous area, we found out the next day after breakfast we went for a small walk around, it had a macdonalds, plenty of french restaurants and cafes, markets and parks and quite close to where josephine is burried. our room was lovely, they were all themed, ours was paris transport, the room had a big tv, ensuit and comfy twin beds, alas no fridge or kettle but we still was happy, when we got up we got the continental breakfast, cereal, yoghurts, ham cheese, fruit and fresh orange and apple juice, coffee and tea they had scrambled egg and sausage in the hot plate and plenty of croissants fresh bread and pain o chocolates yummy! The staff were very pleasant and made us welcome after such a long journey. they had comfortable seats outside and a lovely bar and restaurant, the prices of the bar was a little high but we are in France! we will definitely be going again, its about half an hour away from paris itself

While the lobby and the ‘feel’ underwhelmed me initially, I was won over by the hospitality of front desk staff. The rooms are basic but clean and with comfortable bed. Although there is extra charge for breakfast, I found it value for money with good selections. The location is great, 10 min walk to RER train station and quaint downtown with nice cafes, patisseries, and reasonably priced yet amazing restaurants. Special thanks to Samira, Netalya and Mauwa (I think that’s how he spells his name) and another lady at front desk whose name I forget. While you will not find a separate concierge desk, these folks arranged my cabs and offered guidance on where to eat, trains, local shopping and places to visit. I will certainly come back.

After requesting a room with windows that could be left open at night, the 2 ladies on reception gave me a room on the second floor, which was perfect. Not a large room but adequate, and I slept soundly with cool fresh air rather than A/C. I had meetings starting early at IFP so do not have breakfast. It is short walk along the narrow interesting streets to the main square of Reuil-Malmaison. On checkout I was in a hurry and when I asked where I could purchase a bus ticket, Esdene, the gentleman on reception Kindly gave me a bus ticket; now that is certainly service which should be recognized. Thank you so much. Whenever I come back to Reuil-Malmaison, I will use this hotel. Thank you!

Came to see some friends who live nearby and they booked this hotel for us during our stay. Very attractive reception & bar area on a quiet-ish tree lined avenue only a few mins walk from the RER (fast into the centre) Rooms are quite small for a 4* (this is still Paris after all) but very friendly reception & a lovely breakfast overlooking a pleasant garden. Nice bar area for a late drink and we were made to feel very much at home. Fantastic pizza restaurant at the top of the street (walk towards Rueil centre) and the town itself is very well-to-do with a lovely centre & interesting shops/bars/restos etc. Very upmarket, very French & very safe If you're ever this side of town would definitely recommend

The staff were very rude and unhelpful.Breakfast very basic with no choice, staff at breakfast particularly unpleasant.stayed 3 days , never saw a smile or greeting from staff.Overall a kip avoid at all cost unless you absolutely desperate.stinky, very dirty and mouldy. I noticed some small bites on my arms. At first I thought it was a mosquito. It was after I noticed more bites on my back and lower legs that I became alarmed. Later the next night I returned to the room after touring the city and spoke to the lady at the reception and told her there must be something biting me inside the room. She asked if I had ate something that gave me allergies. That was stupid. I went back to the room for about 30 minutes to send some emails. No wi-fi grrrrr...As I sat on the bed something bit me on my head and ear multiple times. My earlobe was extremely swollen. 3th day,I stayed in there for about an hour and then gathered all of my belongings and left. I have numerous bites on my back, head, arms and lower legs. This was a horrible experience. I advise no person to stay here.

This hotel pretends at luxury but fails. The setting along the Seine is lovely, and it is probably quite suitable for business travelers. At first glance the accommodations look classy. But for vacation travelers it falls short. You may get a good night’s sleep. The bed was great, but the climate control was not good. The room was too hot in October. Management has not considered the stay from the perspective of the occupant, and the ways in which they are cutting costs are all too obvious. Incredibly, in a “luxury” hotel there was no full length mirror. The only coffee in the room was instant. The mini-fridge, trapped inside an unventilated cubicle in a laminated IKEA -style wardrobe, actually heated our yogurt and cheese rather than keeping them cool. The shower soap bottle did not fit the dispenser so it was awkward. The hotel did not provide shampoo in the room. The complimentary robes were plush, but not the towels. To add to the aggravation, they want an extra 30 Euros to use the swimming pool and tried to charge us 50 Euros for a second key. This kind of luxury we could do without.

This is a modern, clean well designed hotel in the Rueil business area, quite close to the RER station, and surrounded by office buildings. The hotel breakfast is simple but satisfying, and the staff here have always been very polite and helpful. The rooms are a bit smaller and basic than the nearby Novotel, but cost significantly less. The windows in the rooms do open, which is nice if you prefer fresh air rather than the air-conditioned version only. The television includes one or two foreign stations including BBC World for the news. The bed is quite firm, which for me is not a major issue. For the money, this is a good option.

This Novotel is close to a number of large corporate offices, so for business travel it is ideal. I was there for 3 days working at one of those offices and it worked out great. Rooms are nice and bigger than most I've seen in Paris. Breakfast is good and even has the option of cooking your own eggs! Lobby / bar / restaurant area is comfortable and even worth hanging out in for happy hour. Staffing on arrival was not enough to handle the people trying to check in and check out but the person working there did a good job managing. Kudos to Stephan who helped me out on a number of occasions and was super friendly.
