|0.74km from city centerWe had a 1-bedroom. The bedroom and living area was spacious, but the kitchen was teeny. Only one person could be in it at a time and the trash had to sit in the entryway if we wanted to open the refrigerator, oven, dishwasher or lower cabinets. Not everything on the inventory was in the kitchen and I had to request items twice. The carpets were filthy and uneven and in need of cleaning or better yet, replaced. Our view was a retaining wall. Several nights of the week we heard children or teens stampeding through the hallways with management ignoring the noise. The only reason I give this a 2 and not a 1 is because everyone on staff was friendly and responded quickly to requests most of the time. The walk to Main Street was 1/2 mile, but up a steep hill. At least a free bus system ran with a stop a block and a half away. The equipment in the workout room needed serviced and was difficult to adjust. The treadmill would randomly speed up making it unsafe to use. Upon checkout I pointed out the filthy carpets and the staff’s response was they had plans to renovate, which tells me, they knew it wasn’t cleaned sufficiently, yet ignored it.

|6.41km from city centerWe are timeshare owners at that resort and visit every year. This year everything went smoothly with no hick ups. Our suite was spacious and in good condition. Service is only provided once a week but one can ask for anything missing and also for trash pick up. Was no problem for us and every request, like additional coffee, was promptly filled. I don't want to comment on the somewhat confusing layout of the resort, but over the years we have learned to navigate it very well. There are always stairs one can take to avoid waiting for an elevator. Skier service is good every year and our skis arrived promptly at the Gondola after sending a message to the desk. This time we had a car and parking was fairly easy. The first day we used the Valet parking but then decided to use the Guest Parking and that was fine. We did not use the resort shuttle at all this time. We definitely are looking forward to our return next year. The resort has a plan to remodel the suites because most of them are somewhat dated; so that will be exciting to see. If you have any specific questions, please don't hesitate to send me a message. I will try to answer it.

|2.7km from city centerIt was located right in between to two busy places of park city. I loved that they offered cookies and hot chocolate during the afternoon. They had an extensive complimentary breakfast with lots of seating in the restaurant. The weekend we were there the ice rink was closed which was a bummer but not a big deal. I liked that they had a indoor/outdoor pool and two hot tubs, one outdoor and one indoor. The pool was definitely too cold to swim in for winter. They also had a steam room and sauna.
The room was a decent size and roomy for my husband and I. I wish the fridge would actually get cold enough to keep food cold but we were only there one night. The bed was very comfortable. The walls are a little bit thin, we could hear our neighbors around 3 am drunk talking loudly. They did have a noise curfew but it was being ignored.

|1.96km from city centerMy husband and I stayed at the St. Regis with our kids (5 & 8 year old boys) in November and I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. From the moment we were greeted to the day we left, we were treated with respect and a genuine desire to make our vacation a nice experience and that they did! Brittany at the front desk was phenomenal. We are Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members and although we have stayed MANY MANY nights at Marriott properties, we have never been upgraded to a suite because that upgrade is based on availability and for some reason, it is never available EXCEPT this time, thanks to Brittany! We were upgraded to the most beautiful, spacious Suite, overlooking the mountains, that you can imagine. Thank you, Brittany! We will never forget the room and the memories we made there as a family and thank you for the beanie babies. The boys still sleep with them. The Butlers also made our experience memorable by showing us how to saber a bottle of champagne in the privacy of our patio! The food, service, bed, pillows, drivers, everyone and everything about this trip was spectacular. Also, one of the ski instructors (Matt?) took us to downtown Park City on one occasion and he have us so much information about the town and it's history that we wouldn't have known otherwise....thank you! Thank you for being so friendly, especially to our boys. If you are thinking of going to Deer Valley/Park City area, don't hesitate to book at the St. Regis. It is top notch. You will not regret it. We will be back! -Danay Pavon

Park City
|1.12km from city centerCovid will date this review. But if you simply want to take the family skiing, especially first time testing out PC, then this may be the most ideal choice. Upgrade to the rooms with a kitchen. Market is 10 minute walk. Ski rental on premises is not simply the least expensive but great people! Test your gear the afternoon before skiing. Pick up in the morning and walk out the side door, across the parking lot and you are on the beginner hill. Order in to minimize social contact but everyone in PC wears a mask everywhere (except the bars on Main). 20 min walk to old town for a great collection of restaurants ( make reservations!). Some rooms are in the process of renovation. Little ones enjoyed the pull out sofa. Check in/out process should be the model for every hotel which is a simple app for instructions and pick up envelope in lobby. Pool is super tiny. We avoided amenities due to Covid.

|2.74km from city centerWe visited Stein's for our anniversary. This is our 9th or 10th visit to Steins because we love it so much. My husband looks forward a Stein Burger every year. This year, to start it was just my husband and myself, but after 2 days our 5 kids (ages 13-3) came up to join us. Whether just the two of us or a whole crew, staff treated us with the same kind, courteous, caring demeanor. We had no needs left unmet. The kids loved the pool, arcade, pizza and fries. Staff made it easy to switch from a couple stay to a family trip. I definitely recommend this whether your coming up as adults only, or as a family. Stein's offers something for everyone.

|6.32km from city centerLocated in the Canyon Village area this HGVC property is close to many amenities located in the area. It’s a close walk to the Gondola and many shops and restaurants. The property is well taken care of and there’s always help available at your service. The free shuttle is prompt and reliable, taking you to Main Street or Kimball Junction. The pool is nice and towels are provided. The concierge was helpful with suggestions for viewing local attractions. Maintenance was hit and miss. Our room was missing a tv remote, which was promptly provided, but the ice machine and refrigerator quit working properly, and when I reported to the front desk, nothing was done. That meant three days of getting ice from the first floor and moving refrigerator food items to the freezer in order to stay cool. Another thing is make sure you request a room with air conditioning. I had requested, but upon checking in, they tried to pass off a room with no air. The temperatures were high 80’s. I visited with other guests that were disappointed in getting rooms with no air. So if you’re visiting in warm weather, I’d check ahead of time on the air conditioning situation. A plus was the parking. We never had a problem finding a spot on the underground parking. There’s also the option of valet. Overall this is a good option of a property to stay. We are owners at another HGVC and wanted to try a new property. We’d come back here.

|6.61km from city centerWe had an exceptional experience, from our late night check in to our iffy departure during a snowstorm the staff were helpful and accommodating. Our 2-bedroom suite with full kitchen, dining and living space was perfect for our blended family and the valley view was spectacular. The location was perfect for families and the hotel shuttle for local attractions was an unexpected bonus. Our only complaint would be the food which was not great and pretty expensive for what it was, but we were able to prepare and eat a lot of our meals in our room. Overall, the experience was just what we had hoped for. Would highly recommend for families looking for a traditional ski vacation.

|2.71km from city centerMy husband and I had the best time staying at the Goldener Hirsch Inn. The service was 1st class from check in to check out. The ambience made you feel like you were in Switzerland or Austria. It is located just steps from the Sterling Express Lift on mid mountain, which gives you access to some of the best runs at Deer Valley. They have complimentary ski storage overnight. When you get back from a long day of skiing, they offer free hot chocolate and cookies for apres ski, or you can grab a cocktail and some delicious appetizers at their bar. You can then head upstairs to the fourth floor to warm up in their hot tub or sauna. Our first night, we dined at their restaurant out of convenience, but it was probably the best meal we had all trip. We enjoyed sharing the cheese fondue as we sat next to a toasty fireplace. We then split the wiener schnitzel, which was out of this world. On other nights, if you wanted to meet friends in park city for a drink or just try one the the other restaurants in town, they offer complimentary cadillac car service through an easy to use (uber-like) app. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a driver to pick us up. If you want a spa appointment, the front desk is happy to hook you up with an appointment at one of the nearby hotels (Stein Erikson Lodge or St. Regis). This was by far our best Ski In Ski Out vacation!

|1.78km from city centerVery kind and courteous staff. They did the catering for the 2 day business events, and it was amazing. Healthy options, desserts were not overpowered with sugar, but just enough to enjoy the dessert without feeling sick afterwards. Nice gym. Didn't use the pool. Water in bathroom was hot quickly with great water pressure. Bed and pillows comfortable. I loved the thermostat/heating/air conditioning. Parking was easy to understand. Always had warm cookies available (that was the only dessert that was on the more unhealthy end, but still not at sweet or unhealthy as the gross crumble cookies...yuck!). Food catered: breakfast burritos (amazing!), Salmon (incredible) with potatoes and mixed vegetables, cheesecake (I'm not a cheesecake fan, but theirs was really tasty and included fresh berries), pizza (more on the gourmet side and was really good), salad with dark green mix, soups (pretty tasty), etc. My spouse had a dairy allergy and they were accomodating, even making him a bowl of mixed fresh berries when everyone else ate the cheesecake.

|2.65km from city centerEven upon our arrival, the concierge was eager to recommend and book dinners for us, and Alma, Mike, Debbie and the entire front desk team were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived they suggested we go to a better room than we originally booked and it turned out to be fantastic. Steven and the other shuttle drivers were super nice and on time and took us around Park City safely and easily on a snowstorm day. The Chateaux hotel is very conveniently located and is a great hotel. We had a wonderful family holiday and we hope to come back to Chateaux soon.

The walk from the ski valet to the ski slopes is less than 1 minute. The property is kept very clean and they are constantly making improvements to the guest experience. The rooms are recently remodeled and are very nice. Monique at the front desk was very kind and helped answer any questions or concerns we had.
