We decided to stop here for a night during a trip to belek, the guy on reception, which at the minute is a make shift one was very welcoming and apologetic about the ‘state’ of the place due to having a new hotel built over the road. However this did not effect us or our room, which was lovely. The location and view of the room we had was stunning. The room was well equipped and obviously very well maintained. We were a little disappointed that we had only booked the one night! Side old town turned out to be a lovely little place with friendly people and this hotel was the ideal place to explore the old town from. We hope to be back soon to see the new hotel when it’s finished!

We stayed at Leda Beach for our 2nd time from 23/04/22 to 30/04/22 and had a totally relaxing time again. This is a little gem of an hotel and a fantastic base for your trip to Side. Firstly if you want 5 star then best look at the bigger all inclusives but if you want, a more than adequate place to stay, in beautifully kept gardens, amongst Roman ruins then look no further than Leda Beach. The location just doesn't get any better, right on the beach one side and then on the opposite side you get to eat your meals overlooking the Roman ruins with the huge ampitheatre right on your doorstep. I don't think in all my travels I can honestly say that the setting of the Leda Beach restaurant can be beaten, absolute fantastic to be able to sit here for breakfast and evening meals. We was in one of the little chalets this time around and found it very comfortable, nicely decorated, a nice quiet space around us and a lovely little balcony/verander. We stayed half board and again found the food more than adequate, mostly Turkish but always fresh and a great choice of salad dishes to go with your main dish. The pool area is lovely and well kept, as is the whole place. The staff are wonderful, all very friendly and helpful and the rooms are cleaned every day. Towels changed 2-3 times during the week, but we asked a couple of occasions and the cleaners will always change them for you if requested. The little groundfloor flats on the beach level have all been refurbished since our last stay and look lovely, all have big patio doors/windows now. A couple of little negatives since our last stay, fresh orange juice is now extra at breakfast and the wifi is now charged per phone rather than for the room, I suppose they are trying to get some money back after a terrible couple of seasons, but just two small gripes and nothing to ruin a wonderful stay. The setting of the Leda Beach just makes you feel like you're on holiday in real ancientTurkey without even leaving the hotel, a real Mediterranean gem.

Booked this 3* accommodation 6 months ahead of the trip and selected it for location, price and facilities. Deliberately chose to be on the edge of the old town, walking distance from the sea, the ruins and the promenade and with WiFi included to allow work. The hotel lacks inside areas and out of season and the bar area was very cold. They did allow you to use the dining room after the evening meal but not during the day and on some occasions this meant staying in the room or huddling In a coat. The only other place to sit would have been the reception area. The room was perfectly acceptable. It faced out to the side of the hotel on the back rather than over the pool or over the road. You could see the sea in the distance and the balcony had the sun all day which as it started to warm up would have been lovely. Definitely the best facing room in my opinion. Facilities in the room were acceptable. It would have been nice to have a sheet on the double bed that actually fitted the mattress even remotely and the bathroom was somewhat shabby and the shower a bit grotty to look at. That said, the water was piping hot with good water pressure. The hair dryer was worse than an asthmatic on a bad day though so not up to the name! The food was more than acceptable for a 3* and above expectations. Plenty of selection of hot choices, salads and desserts including fresh fruit. Every meal included soup and all were very tasty and piping hot. No, there were no chips or English food but then it’s not England is it so why would there be? However, after just 4 nights of a 28 night stay everyone was abruptly informed after Monday lunch that after breakfast the following day the hotel would be closing and were we aware? No, we were not! The option was to pack quickly and leave in half an hour or to go after breakfast the following day. Ok, so the alternative accommodation was 5* so technically better (I’ll review that elsewhere when the trip is over) but lacked the benefit of the location of Side Miami or the inclusive WiFi. Despite the obvious improvement of standard the new accommodation had been considered on booking and rejected so it was with some disappointment I took up residence there for the remainder of the trip. No explanation (as well as no warning) was given for the sudden closure. It was tipping it down with rain that day and some guests mentioned leaks (none seen by me) and there was also mention of a refurbishment from which the rooms would doubtless benefit. Some of the staff from side Miami later appeared at the sister hotel and were due to return in March so maybe the refurbishment story was correct. I’m sure future reviews will show. Excellent value for money, great location. Exactly what I was looking for, just a shame I didn’t get to stay for my whole trip!

Aura boutique was the perfect place to stay in side. From the welcome, to the rooms, the service and staff, everything was absolutely perfect. It’s location makes it even more appealing. There are numerous eateries, supermarkets and salons within a 10min walk. The beach is less than 5mins away and the antik city of side is barely a 5-7mins walk. The breakfast was a traditional kahvalti which was cok lezzetti..! The rooms were clean, comfortable and cozy. The views from the terrace and rooms is one I could easily get used to. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would love to go back again and have a longer stay. Definitely recommend aura boutique. 👍👍

We have stayed at this hotel from 8/06/22 - 15/06/22. It was advertised as a 5* hotel on the website where we booked our holiday and a 4* hotel on different websites, but in reality it is more like a 3* hotel . The room was big enough, cleaned but “old”; we went for the large one which i think it means 1st floor where you have a bigger balcony and possibly a slightly bigger room . • The room was ok ! Swimming pools … spot on ! Water was crystal clear, they were cleaning them every evening and morning before 7 . Pools timetable 7-19, i do advise you to get up early and throw some towels on the sun loungers you prefer before breakfast . • All ok here ! Breakfast starts at 7:30 until 10:30 for late breakfast ( after 9:30 there is little food left ) . Now if you’re looking for English breakfast you’re in the wrong hotel, i am not fussy about food so i have tried everything they served . There is a big selection of food cereals, jam, cheese, salads, yoghurts, boiled eggs, fried eggs, omelette, chips, roasted vegetables, pancakes, soups, cakes, etc. obviously no bacon . Lunch starts at 12:30 until 14:00. Again a huge selection of food, it’s honestly impossible not to find something that you would like. And again the same with dinner 19:00-21:00. • So overall food was ok ! Private beach it’s 7-10 minutes walking where you have a bar that opens at 10:00 until 17:00 and they serve beer, wine r and w, water, coffee and pineapple juice, cherry juice, apple juice . The beach itself needs a bit of cleaning .. if you look on the next private beach you could see that nice fine sand and you could tell they taking care of it ( 5* hotel private beach ). Here you have a bit of sand (where the sun loungers are) mixed with rocks and bits of rubbish and then towards the sea it’s just rocks so i do recommend you wear beach socks. • Not so good ! Bar at the hotel opens at 10:00 until 23:30. If you have all inclusive, they serve beer, wine r and w, rum, whiskey, vodka, tequila, gin, different cocktails, etc. they are all local drinks so don’t expect to much. I’ve tried them all and if a normal whiskey has 35% - 40%vol alc, here 20%-25% .. if that . • Again not so good but i guess with the low alcohol volume you get more liquids into your body 😂 There is a club until 2:30 with loud music which it was great for me as i like music ( although it’s pretty much the same music every night) but maybe you may find it disturbing. There’s also an amphitheatre with kids entertainment from 21:00 and adult entertainment from 22:00 .. in english, turkish and russian. Now the worst thing for me as an early person ( 5:30-6:00 ) was the lack of coffee.. there is nowhere you can get a coffee until the restaurant opens at 7:30. No kettle in your room also. Wifi is very slow and extra charge 15 euro or 15 dollars for 7 nights, chose dollars ( yes there is a choice 😂 ) All prices around Side and Manavgat are in euro .. very expensive for Turkey, we went to Side and the price for a keba

I have just returned from a 7 day stay at Melas Resort Hotel and what can I say other than it was absolutely amazing! Right from the start checking in, room with a sea view was just beautiful as we could hear the sound of the waves as we lay in bed. There is so much options for food, our particular favorite was the menu at the beach bar, I'm quite a fussy drinker but the cocktails were great and I think I went through most of the menu.... I really want to say that this was our first holiday in a while due to Covid-19 and it really made up for it. The entertainment team at Melas are extremely friendly and always got us involved in activities, we have had such a laugh playing darts, air riffle and water polo (things I'd never do!). I would like to say a huge thank you to Ornella, Erzin and Ertan from the entertainment team, these guys really made our holiday one we won't ever forget! The hotel is spotless and our room was cleaned to a high standard everyday. Only thing I would say is there are a lot of stairs in this hotel. Oh well got our steps in! There was a mini fridge in our room that was topped up daily with water, coke, beer and fanta. Overall there isn't really anything I can say that wasn't great about this hotel, there is a shopping mall right outside the hotel and its literally a 5 minute drive to Side. We enjoyed our holiday so much that we are planning to go back later this year! Thank you Melas Resort Hotel for our amazing holiday, hope to return one day!

The hotel room key is always problematic. It is too inconvenient to go to the front desk to reswipe the card every day! The free massage card given by the hotel is not used at all, and it is only found that you have to buy a membership card when you arrive there. There are too many people in the hotel, and every time you wait for the elevator, you have to take a long team. Hotel facilities are also relatively old, the hotel food is good, there are not many options.

Hello. I would like to leave few lines about accommodation in Turkey, Side, Von Resort Golden Beach hotel. Accommodation: The hotel made out of several one-storey houses. It is basically a large garden with many houses, very nicely arranged. The green space is very well maintained, it is a pleasure to walk through the complex in the multitude of flowers. There are several swimming pools, all very large in size: a relaxation pool, an entertainment pool, 2 small children's pools with shallow depth and covered by some awnings and the aquapark area, with slides for children and for adults, next to the large pool. All can be used for free. Pool towels can be changed daily. In the hotel, most tourists were families with children. The complex is not recently built, but it is very clean. The cleaning lady changed the sheets and towels daily. The room is nice, with enough space. I didn’t feel like in a hotel, but more like in your holiday home. The air conditioning and electricity in the room go without being conditioned by the card (you can leave the room). There is also a terrace, with table and chairs and support for wet clothes. Air conditioning included in the room price. There are several semi-shaded kids parks in the complex, with sand or grass and a kids club area where there are activities during the day, and in the evening baby disco with entertainers. In the same complex there are 2 more hotels belonging to same resort: Vonresort Golden Coast and Vonresort Elite. Tourists have access to the aquapark. The staff doesn’t know much English. In general, tourists are Russian and German. The stroller can be rented at 3E / day. Outside the complex, 10 'away is a bazaar with Turkish stuff, if you need souvenirs. It is also a mini bazaar inside resort. Meals: Ultra all inclusive - varied breakfast, lunch and dinner, with lots of vegetables, salads, fruits besides. The food is not very different from day to day, but every day there are many things to choose from. For families with small children under 1, I would say that the food is not suitable, as I have not seen unsalted or baby food. Also, for our taste, the food was generally a bit salty. I'm not a big fan of sweets, baklavas were very good, the cakes instead seemed a bit artificial. The drink is ok, machine juices (too sweet) or bottled juices, bottled wine, draft beer. There are also a la carte restaurants in the complex, where food and drink are charged separately. You could dine indoors or on the terrace. There was also food at the aquapark area outside of lunch hours. There are many bars in the complex open during the day. There is also an ice cream cone station. Beach: to get to the beach you have to cross the complex, about 10 '. The beach is full of fine sand and so is inside sea. It's very wide. The entrance to the water is smooth. It is very suitable for children. The water was warm, at the beginning of June it was 25 degrees. The hotel has sunbeds and umbrellas included. There are many,

Just returned from an 8 night stay at the Mary Palace Hotel. This was my first time to Turkey and first time to this hotel and it did not disappoint! The room: beautiful- very spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows, excellent storage facilities, balcony with chairs and wracks for drying items. The shower was huge. All in all fabulous The food/drinks: I really enjoyed the food particularly lunch and dinner (that is coming from a veggie too!)- that said, the breakfast was very continental in style for those who like a more varied choice. I had no issues, personally, and thoroughly enjoyed the home made pancakes. The staff: can't be faulted- all extremely helpful and professional- from the waiters, bar staff, those in the on site shops and the entertainment team. I have seen people complaining that the staff don't speak English. I would never go to a hotel in another country and expect them to speak English- we are visiting their country and don't speak their language! That said we had no issues communicating when ordering food/drinks etc. The beach: a 5 minute walk with shuttles taking you to and from there each day (although we enjoyed the walk!) The beach is well kept, the staff at the beach restaurant were great as was the guy who maintains the beach everyday! The entertainment: best entertainment at a hotel- bingo, children's disco, Turkish evening was amazing! There isn't a great deal outside of the hotel so the hotel put on something for everyone each night. Covid measures: all suitcases and luggage were disinfected on arrival. Temperature checks on arrival and when entering the dinner hall. All food is served to avoid multi handling and everything separated with perspex- really impressed. If you are staying at this hotel you are in for a real 5* experience- enjoy! Thanks Mary Palace for a beautiful holiday

This was my first time visiting the side crown serenity hotel, I visited with my girlfriend and we stayed for one week. I would like to cover the good, bad and some suggestions on how to improve this hotel. I am going to start with the good, overall we very much enjoyed our stay here. I would rate it 7/10. Positives Food - buffet style all inclusive was great, plenty to choose from and caters for everyone (even fussy eaters as there are options such as chips, etc) Bar & service - good range of alcoholic drinks - cocktails and beer were great. Served up until midnight as part of the all inclusive. Swimming pool - multiple swimming pools and even a water slide. No issues finding a sun bed during our visit. Room - spotless and plenty of space, rooms cleaned daily. Now for the bad.. Honestly I think this hotel was lovely and I would consider returning however I was very disappointed with our spa experience having paid around 2000 Turkish lira for my girlfriend and I to have a massage at the hotel spa. The actual massage was great however what really let the experience down was the pushy sales tactics which were being brutally forced upon us by Sami. After our massage we were taken into a room and told by Sami we needed to listen to the medical feedback which the masseur gave to him. Sami went on with his sales tactics to explain why we needed to purchase additional massages for 5000 lira as if we didn’t we would experience health problems. Sami said to my girlfriend if she got the massage it would get rid of her celulite and that her legs have ‘trapped water’ so the extra 3 message would release this and leave her with skinny legs. However if a few massages would get rid of cellulite and give you skinny legs then I’m sure everyone would be queuing for the message. 😂 After paying and experiencing the massage we were very disappointed that Sami had tried to exploit my girlfriends vulnerabilities in order to drive sales. It is unethical to do this and insulting however we laughed it off at how he thought this sales tactic would work on us. I appreciate Sami most likely has a sales target which is why he was pushy however the personal and offending comments which he made while trying to sell us were misleading and not appropriate. Sami then went on to me (young male) and said if I didn’t buy this massage I would have erecticle issues later on in life 😂 I am young and healthy and haven’t had any problems down there if you know what I mean. I just felt it was again inappropriate to diagnose me with a condition which I haven’t got on the basis of him trying to upsell. Luckily I was able to see the funny side of it but it was again an offensive comment to make. After our massage we were stuck in the room with the door shut for 30 minutes with Sami sat in front of it making it difficult to leave. We did feel trapped while Sami repeatedly tried to convince as to take the extra massages and got more and more irritated when we said no. It ve
