|10.19km from city centerI stayed at the Kempinski Hotel for three nights and experienced a roller coaster ride from anger to comfort. Before going, I booked a twin room with pearl view with longing. I hope to enjoy the true beauty of Pearl Island. When I entered the room, I found that I spent a lot of money on the balcony, and the balcony turned into a wall-view room. After arguing with the front desk reasonably, I changed a room for me. Before going to bed, I found that the bathroom lights were broken and the door was broken. So I was completely disappointed, I didn't dare to trust Kempinski anymore, I just wanted to check out and change to a hotel. I happened to meet the manager of the hotel Omar during another fight with the front desk at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, he changed a suite for me, and the result was quite gratifying. But thinking about the previous experience, I was tossing and changing rooms with my child dragging a suitcase. This hotel's attitude towards Chinese guests is obvious. Never see me, Kempinski!

However, i don't get the point why they could not give the key card at the time of check in. As for me, i did not get it at all. Also, the menu that they have in my previous room is not new so are the prices. I get to know it from the In room dining. This is actually inappropriate. They should remove the old menu since it is misleading. Also, i don't like how the lady from IRD who took my order for breakfast on 9th of June. She sounds like she's telling me i am ignorant about their prices. Just a reminder, doesn't mean we are both the same nationality you can treat me like that. Whoever or whatever you are, you should know how to deal with guest.

Irfan and Muhaidi and the others at Front Desk listened carefully for my requests and tried to help wherever they could and provided information for me around town. Gamal introduced me to the room and also took the initiative to guide me around the neighbourhood the next day. Staff at the Lounge also made watching World Cup matches there comfortable and enjoyable, sometimes coming over to make small talk about the football and was able to attend to our every need. For location, the hotel is within 5min walk to a Metro station and amenities like restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies.
Room was great, but found deposits unfortunately at the kettle spout.

(🛀) Facilities: Fully equipped, free bottled water, coffee, tea, kettle, refrigerator, tableware, washing machine, microwave, toaster, and the furniture is not new.
(👱♀️) Service: The front desk is very enthusiastic and patient, and can store luggage. The little sister also printed ticket orders and hotel orders.
(🍽) Catering: Breakfast costs 35 rials (approximately 70 yuan) per person per day, and it is delivered to the room, which is not bad.
(💰) Price: The current price on November 13, 2023 is 320 yuan including tax, (excluding breakfast)
(🎊) Value for money: Even in Doha, it is very cost-effective.

|0.35km from city centerWe (4 adults and 1 teen) have just returned from a wonderful stay at Al Mirqab hotel. Pre Arrival Prior to booking I made an email enquiry about the availability of an extra bed. This was answered very quickly and put my mind at rest about the size of the rooms and ability to accommodate a third person. This was also reconfirmed directly by the hotel less than 30 minutes after making the booking via Expedia. And then, the day before our arrival I received a courtesy telephone call (Doha to UK) to check whether we had any special requests or transportation needs and to say how much the team were looking forward to our arrival. I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world and never have I been called ahead of time to be welcomed. A really personal touch. Arrival Tip: If taking a taxi from the airport be sure to state clearly Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli and in particular Arumail Boutique hotel on Al Souq Street. Unfortunately, we were taken to the completely wrong hotel which also had the name Souq Waqif in the title! When we did arrive at the correct hotel the welcome was warm and our earlier stress was quickly forgotten. We were checked in at Arumail hotel with the offer of coffee and dates whilst we were waiting. (Thank you to Mr Mouhaib for the coffee and introducing us to sweet dates) Our booking was split between Arumail and Mirqab hotels but Mr Abdullah was super helpful and offered our couple in the group an upgrade at a discounted price so that we could all stay together in Al Mirqab. It was an offer too good to refuse! Once we had completed the formalities we and our luggage were whisked by buggy over to Al Mirqab. Hotel Location Excellent! All of the hotels are dotted around the souq, but we liked Al Mirqab because it was right next door to the Metro station. If you want to be close to the Corniche choose Al Jomrok. Al Jasra is slightly on the edge but no more than a 2 minute walk from the main area. Rooms Our rooms were spacious and very well appointed. Even with the additional bed in one of the rooms we still had plenty of room. The complimentary water and tea and coffee was replenished every day and the mini fridge was perfect for cooling the water overnight ready to take out with us the next day. Our room was spotlessly clean and made up every day. This was done without any disturbance or inconvenience to us. We never saw the housekeeping staff but always returned to a freshly made up room. If I had one tiny little ****** it would be about the lack of plugs; one by each bedside table would have been super helpful. That said, on the day we were leaving I found one in the wardrobe (near the safe), one ‘hiding’ behind the luggage stand and one ‘hiding’ beneath the curtains. My fault for not looking properly, lol! The best thing was the location next to Souq Waqif, only a short walk to the shops and restaurants (buzzing in the evening in particular) and close to the camel pen and falcon souq as well as the corniche and dhow harbour. A prime location in Doha!

|1.64km from city centerThe hotel lobby has a high ceiling, which is great for waiting and meeting friends. Breakfast is not expensive, about 60 yuan. It's not much but it's filling. The flavor is traditional Middle Eastern rice.
The hotel provides very good slippers. The soles and uppers are very thick, which kept my feet from getting cold when I got on the plane. This is better than many hotels of the same level.
The room is relatively large and the lighting is sufficient.
The overall feeling is very atmospheric.
The only drawback is that their electrical sockets are not the same as in Europe, but the front desk can lend you plugs, which is very nice.
The location is great. There is the National Museum across the street downstairs, and there is a street of restaurants nearby.
great. The hotel is totally worth the room price. And when I had a fever and felt unwell, Ctrip housekeepers helped me contact many hotels. Early check-in required additional fees, but they didn't require it! Especially humane.
Tip, you can just come to the airport and take a taxi, take a taxi, there is no Uber next to the airport. And Uber is not expensive to go from the hotel to the airport, only about 18-20 Qatari riyals, which is about 30 to 50 or 60 RMB.
(When consulting, some other hotels, not this one, said they could pick you up from the airport for RMB 200, which was not a good deal).
This hotel is very good. I will stay here again.
