People who think that cheap hotels are not good, they think absolutely wrong, as I used to think like this earlier. Hotel shadab is the best and best hotel. Some excellent services in the hotel, which are not seen in other hotels. 2-3 nights can be spent here comfortably.

The hotel is located on the busy road of Nagpada, always amidst intense traffic. On the plus side, the rooms are well furnished, the bathrooms well fitted and beautifully lit. Hotel provides delectable breakfast and all essentials are branded and of good quality. The staff is very co-operative and prompt. The cons however can not be ignored. The rooms are too tiny to accomodate even two people properly and after keeping the luggage there is no room to even move properly. Furthermore, there is a discrepancy on the type of room booked by booking.com to which the hotel owners do not have any answer. While the website of booking.com shows a room as 'deluxe room', the hotel ***agement claimed it wasn't so. Hence even after paying for the deluxe room, we were made to accomodate in a really tiny room unfit for 3 people and a toddler. The space constraint and the sky high prices for the room is understandable because of the hotel location being in Mumbai, and proximity to important landmarks such as Marine drive as well as Gateway of India.

I stayed at Holiday Inn for 4 nights on a business trip. I found the staff responsive, helpful and quick. The food was tasty, both at breakfast buffet and in-room dining. A very comfortable stay and I will visit again. Only issue- since I had booked through Make my trip, they did did not include this stay in the IHG membership points, which to my mind is strange.

Visited in February and stayed for 4 nights, checking out in March 2019. Myself and my mother’s first trip to Mumbai and I was apprehensive about booking however on arrival was greeted with a warm welcome and efficiently checked in. Any fears disappeared .. We arrived at 8am and check in was not until 12 however we were checked in immediately and lugguage brought up to our room. The room was clean to Indian standards and small improvements can be made. Minor things like changing the pillows was done immediately with a smile. Nothing was too much. The front desk staff Ramesh and Rakesh were helpful. Be it my camcorder that needed repairing or money exchange, no query was too much for them. Subhir was tentative to our needs throughout our stay, from breakfast to finding a cab for us and ensuring we weren’t over charged anywhere (sweet). For breakfast the first morning the India size coffee cups were tiny and 3 sips, I missed my large coffee. Day 2 Subhir had larger cups ready for us, small touches that we will miss. Overall: Good - *Bed was comfortable, sheets clean. *Bathroom was very clean, we stayed in room 204. *breakfast was a buffet style, limited options but all the food served was tasty and hygienically made (we didn’t get any Mumbai belly). Breakfast you can have omelette or dosa freshly made with condiments. 1 additional option of an Indian hot breakfast (paratha stuffed flat bread, Mumbai local specialties). *we had dinner at the hotel on our last evening, the food was excellent and like a home cooked meal (all made fresh). *complentary foot and back massagers available in reception and the foot massager is needed after a day sight seeing. *soap and shampoo available in the bathroom Not so good - *the blanket throw on the bed had also seen better days *the noise from the petrol station next door is the usually Indian beep beep noise into the night but not the hotels fault and I was so exhausted most evenings I fell asleep even though I am a light sleeper. The noise is part of being in India I felt. I have attached a few pictures of the hotel as before I booked I didn’t see ***y photos on trip advisor and fell the hotel was not done any justice. Location isn’t sceanic however it is convienently situacted in south Mumbai and great for sight seeing as taxis as regaurly available just outside the hotel. Hotel is ideal for foreign travellers as the hygiene standards are good. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends or stay here myself again.

In MakeMytrip website this is listed as Hotel Orient Palace. But both are the same. Of all the budget hotels (Less than Rs.3000 per night) I've stayed in Mumbai, this one is the best. Pros: 1. Complimentary breakfast includes boiled eggs, chapati with curry, omlet, juice, bread with jam & butter - good enough for business travellers. 2. A/C which works :) 3. They give dental kit - which is very helpful for business travellers 4. Decently maintained room. Hardly any cons for the price you pay. Mobile signals are very weak inside the rooms, so you have to come till reception to make a voice call. Wi-fi is weak, which is expected in such hotels. The area is very congested & cab drivers get confused with this lane.

The outside of Indian hotels are almost the same, dirty and messy. This hotel should have been opened by Arabs. The interior is pretty good. It has recently been renovated. The decoration is exquisite. The materials are relatively high-end, the rooms are not big, the sanitation is good, there is no peculiar smell, the breakfast is good, the restaurant offers Chinese food, and the price is not expensive. Staying at this price is very cost-effective, more cost-effective than ibis. The only dissatisfaction is that the street outside is noisy. If you like quiet, you should consider it.

This hotel is very close to Mumbai Airport, about 1.5 kilometers away. To be honest, the biggest advantage is near, because the hotel is a kind of Indian wind, the air inside is not very good, and the waiter takes the slippers and the toothbrush. Drag and drop, the service attitude is not bad.

Extremely small rooms, toilet was so small there was barely space to shower. Service is okayish. Hotel doesnt have its own kitchen, so food options is only outside food. I checked in past midnight at which time the entire road was very dark, no lighting and the signboard was barely visible. Took me around 10 mins to figure out the entrance to the hotel.

I just needed a place to sleep for a few hours between flights. I arrived at 5 AM (booked for the previous night) and their staff was ready for me when I arrived, directing me straight to my bed. The location was great, close to the airport and also the Marol Naka metro in case one wants to visit the city. 10 beds in a room, but the room was huge and didn’t feel cramped at all. There were two bathrooms in the room with a separate wash basin outside for brushing/shaving etc. Beds, sheets and pillowcases were spotlessly clean and comfortable to sleep in. They also have breakfast but I didn’t try it as I woke up after it was finished. Overall for ~450 rupees good value for money and a very pleasant stay.

The location of the hotel is great for a layover!! u don’t need to leave the airport at all. it’s one floor down from areival and then 3 floor ups to go to departure! the staff was friendly and helpful. the room was super clean, maybe a bit noisy (can hear the neighbors)! TV didn’t work and internet didn’t work right away, those are my only tiny complaints!

I spent 10 nights in that hotel. First of all, they had a young *** as a receptionist who was not smiling nor saying hi or what so ever, he was frowning all the time like he was mad at us ! we felt not welcomed, but they had an old guy (probably mid 40) who was very polite. the elevator is so small it can barely fit 2 persons without luggage and was very weird to use. Breakfast was all Indian we couldn't eat because of spiciness, The pictures shown does not match the reality. I reserved a view facing room and it was hilarious, the balcony was covered in PRC and it was not designed to sit in, plus it was filthy and we found a pigeons nest ! There was water dripping sound in the room whenever someone uses the washing sink or shower ! TV was BAD, WiFi coverage barely reached one unit on my phone. On the good side, location is great, even though it was not facing the main road, Hygiene level was good. I kept some money beside the TV and in drawers and when we came back we found all of them so we felt safe and we trusted them. Bottom line, hotels in Mumbai are more expensive than others, for this kind of hotels I would not pay more that 30$ per night (2 persons room), but instead, they charged us with approximately 92$ per night.

Rooms were neat, clean and comfortable. My room has the view of swimming pool and the size was good (though I had to pay a good amount to avail it, not sure if it was worth the amount). There bathroom was also very good but sadly none of the times rooms had a bathtub. The buffet was good and had a different varieties of food. The food was little on expensive side but then it provides you with a lot of options to choose from. There was some kind of scarcity of drinking water in the buffet on the name of save water. They'll only pour half a glass of water and I had to ask 7-8 times for water and sometimes it was very irritating. Staff was very polite.

I live in a lot of hotels in Mumbai. This is relatively clean. Because it is a little away from the noisy neighborhood in the yard, it is quite quiet and there is breakfast. For the Chinese, it is ok to eat. There are many choices for Chinese dinner in the vicinity. There is a KFC in the yard not far away, and there are many Indian restaurants next to it, so it is not a big problem to eat here. The hotel is very close to the subway station, it is more convenient, just comparable to Shanghai's Mumbai only one subway, so you don't have too much hope, if you take a taxi, you have to start a lot of cars in advance, because this is very blocked, very blocked! The room is very small. If you live alone, you have to choose a double room. If you are a single room, you can go to no more than 7 steps. For most rooms, there is no window.

The location is a bit remote, and it is okay to stay on business. The facilities are good, the hygiene is ok, the room is re-decorated, and there is breakfast and dinner service. However, it is not convenient to take a taxi. Without local Uber software, you can only book a car at the hotel each time. Fortunately, the cost is not too high. But it was the car service that caused the check-out to take more than 30 minutes that day. I was in a hurry to catch the plane. Now there is a room for which the invoice was not issued to me. Hair, speechless), needs to be improved.

The rooms in northern Mumbai are quite large, and the windows are closed. Provide three meals of afternoon tea, very cost-effective. Three meals of Indian food are not used to but rich and perfunctory. Turn right and go to the supermarket. A little further away, there is a comprehensive shopping mall selling some domestic fast fashion brands and local clothing. There is a comprehensive eating area on the top floor. Then the unit price of meals does not include tax, so the settlement will increase tax. By the way, it's cheap to make a tutu car. If it's cheaper than Uber, it's better to choose suddenly.

The reception where very helpful when it turned out that I had booked a wrong date when we arrived late in the evening. The room was quite small, but ok, bed, shower ok. I had to cut the electricity to the refrigerator because it was making a of of noise, but i t was empty anyway. It had been a wedding celebration in the hotel and some of the guests had a late night party in a room on the same floor witch was disturbing my sleep, but what to do. Next morning we had a quick breakfast before heading to the airport. Its a short distance to the airport, 300 rupies, 10-15 minutes with taxi (we payed 900 rupies from the airport, to the hotel, got riped off, so go with the official taxies). We only stayed the night but I saw that it was a lot of road constructions in close proximity from the hotel witch might bee both dusty and noisy and could be negative for a longer stay. For us the overnight stay was very convenient and I have no problem recommending this hotel

This is a fantastic place for a short stay in Mumbai. Its close to the airport and major railway stations. I had a two days and one night stay here in a 6-bed bunk AC -room and it was great. Its very clean and quite secure as they provide sufficiently large cupboards and electronic door locks. For additional security you could carry small locks or purchase them from reception. Wi-fi is free throughout. The hostel has nice daily city tour, evening walks, karaoke nights, Indian cooking classes and other offerings. If you are traveling alone, you are likely to make friends here too, as I did, since most people are itinerant travelers.

We went for Dinner at the restaurant in this hotel. The place offers banquet halls for marriage ceremony other parties. We went to the restaurant on the 1st floor. The first thing that strikes you is the quality of interiors, the cleanliness - excellent. The next thing that strikes you is the strong smell of non-veg food, fish etc. - it is quite unsettling for vegetarians. Not sure if the Air conditioning (which is strong enough) is able to recirculate the air quickly, as the odour of non-veg food persists. Now to the food - we had veg ***chow soup (Ok in taste, good quantity), veg broccoli in cream / cheese soup (full of cheese and cream, almost white in colour - disappointing in taste and quantity) For starters, paneer tikka was fabulous, even aloo methi tikki was very good. In the main course, we ordered veg pan fried noodles (good in taste), veg fried rice, veg schezwan fried rice (both average in taste), cauliflower ***churian in hot garlic sauce (average in taste) and veg ***churian with gravy (***churian balls were not soft, but the gravy was good). Quantity was good in all the dishes. Pricing of food items is relatively expensive. Maybe will try Punjabi / North Indian veg dishes next time.

This place is easily the most iconic spot in Bandra, Mumbai. It is frequented by mumbaikars on every festival. It has a wide variety of foods on offer but chiefly specializes in nonvegetarian dishes. The ambience is cool. There are small LED powered dim lamps all over the place and no in the face bright lights. Seats are cozy and tables firm. Wait time for food to arrive is also less. Overall great place for lunch and dinner.
