We had our family reunion here for two days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wonderful property with abundant opportunity for entertainment. Food was good, though we had limited options due to budget constraints. Julie and her team was very helpful at the restaurant. Sad to see the resort is not earning out of out points, ***agement should work towards it. I suggest It is important to invest in delighting customer in hand first to attract new customers.

Our trip to Kannur was for a marriage as Bride was from Punjab and Groom was from Kannur. Punjabi people was less though. But we enjoyed two days of big wedding and reception. Should say Kannur people..The entire district are so hospitable and cooperative to understand treat us very well. This i dint find any where in our country. As being a business *** i travel to ***y parts of India. And to Kerala i have travelled to Kochi ***y times and for family tour i have being to Kumarakom , Munnar and Kovalam. We actually extended for three more days to visit Kannur tourism place. We really enjoyed, temple vist- Rajarajeshwara, Thrichambaram, Mrithangashaileshwari , Muthapanu, Annapoorneshwari in Cherukunnuu and Peralassery temple we actually coudnt go in a stretch as we had less days, but will come back as we are yet to visit other tourist places, like hill stations of Kannur, Rustic beaches, water falls etc... Our hotel stay was very good , good food and friendly staff. As we were out of town for most of the time. Coming April we are scheduling a 5 day vacation in Kannur so we can see bekal and ashrams as well. The hotel will be Royal Omars for sure

While the property looked stupendous on the website and was recommended by a friend, the first interaction on the phone was a disappointment. We were looking for a suite room as adverstised on the website but learnt that it was still under construction. Our next choice of interconnecting rooms was not an option existing at the property. We then went for the next best thing, adjacent rooms. Checkin took too long which is where we got the first surprise, rates had changed since booking which meant that we ended up paying more than had budgeted. Rooms were spacious and well laid out expect for the column in the middle of one of our two rooms which indicated a bad design. Hiccups soon surfaced with the running hot water not being available due a failure of the solar water heaters at the property, for which we sympathised with the property dur to the incessant rains. The situation was rectified with buckets of water brought in by the housekeeping staff. Room service choices for breakfast were limited to south indian vegetarian staples of idli, dosa, poori etc but were nonetheless surprisingly well cooked and held up to a good standard than what one would come across in most other hotels in the malabar region which do not have the best vegetarian fare. Lunch with its combination of kerala and mughlai veg fare was very well done and presented a decent standard which again was better than one can hope for in most other hotels. Dinner with its mughlai flavors matched lunch. Suffice to say that while they may not have a great deal of choices, what they do have is done well. Sleep quality was good including bedding and the air conditioners were decent enough. A major design flaw in the rooms was the enclosed balcony which had the compressors of the rooms split ac blowing hot air thereby making it terribly hot. What logic possessed such a layout is beyond understanding. The bathtub in one of the rooms still had its installation plastic labels in place which was odd indeed. A towel rack in the same bathroom came apart during usage. Checkout was smooth and prompt. Over all a good stay but the people runnning the property should take care of the bits and pieces to retain guests.

Beware of this shady hotel!! My gold & money was stolen from room 311 while I was asleep in the room around midnight on 20/11/19. I've lodged an FIR in Kannur Town Police Station. ISSUES: Damp, smelly & unsafe rooms. Cameras in the gallery DO NOT work. High tarrifs. AC not effective. Dirty linen & towel. Phone in the room do not work. Suffocating tiny lifts. What makes things WORSE – Rude & unsympathetic hotel staff didn't even feel sorry or visit the Police Station with us for reporting the case (after all the robbery took place on their property). In fact, the cunning, arrogant & non-courteous staff that tries to THREATEN me. Icing on the cake: I confronted the MD to discuss the issues, he was only interested in his money. In fact, he tried to offer 50% discount on stay if I removed the online review (from Goibibo). I’d already paid advance Rs.5000 & lost gold + cash worth much more than that, why would I remove the review? I want the whole world to know this is the most unsafe place to spend a night. Had I seen the place before, I’d never had made this mistake of booking this. I haven't seen a worse hotel than this having traveled frequently to various places and stayed at various hotels. If there was an award for the worst Hotel, hands down, they’ll win it!

The hotel is very new, the hardware facilities are very good, the service is very good, there is a welcome juice when you go to check-in. But the location is a bit off, it takes ten minutes to walk to the beach, and the airport comes to the taxi for an hour and a half. Hotel catering is mainly for Indians, and there is basically no international taste. There are so many restaurants around, you can eat steaks in all tastes, the price is not expensive, and the taxes are few.

Ours was a fantastic stay, amidst COVID-19 clouds we were given utmost care and attention at the Hyatt Centric, Candolim. Two important things of a hotel stay - Room Comfort & Food, here I would give this hotel 11 out of 10. Efforts of Vivek & Tezab the Housekeeping and FnB bosses, were outstanding! Right from the moment we entered the premises, to each meal wether in room or at the restaurant, the room-stay (provision of requisites as well as going into all details of comfort) and till we finally completed our four nights stay, me & my family were pampered continually. Special Mentions:- 1. Komal at the all day dining restaurant. She sets the bar for 'Service with a Smile', what an asset for the hotel! 2. Hygine Standards maintained in general as well as during the 'Pandemic' deserved an applaude for sure. Provisions for sanitisation were immaculate. 3. General Courtesies extended by the entire hotel staff to the guests was much above the marks, always. Thanks so much Hyatt for this experience.

Please don't spoil your vacation by staying in this hotel. 1st Incident After visiting they don't provided my booked category room and asked will change tomorrow. Next day, i left for south goa at 11 AM , till the time no reminder given by resort person , when i was 40 KM away from resort around 2 PM , they called me and asked to come back now only for changing room . It was really very difficult for me to come back when was so far from resort, i asked will come by 6 PM to change it but they denied and forced me to come now only. They even mis-behaved with me when i denied to come back immediately and blamed me . I had booked my package through Yatra.com. if booked directly don’t know how much more mental torture will have to face. 2nd Incident : They provided me non-working condition heating Mug . when i asked to check it , came after 30 minutes to check it. Not repaired and asked will provided tomorrow as don't have in spare. When i said will give wrong Feedback online , then don’t know from where provided so quickly. Means they are Lying earlier. 3rd Incident : The Tata sky account was de-activated , i asked to get it activate so that i could watch TV , they said will do it soon . I did not take follow up over it on same day so it's not done on 2nd day when I powered on TV . 2nd day person said will do tomorrow only since it 11 PM now . 4th Incident : The Bedsheet was smelling and they did not change it for 2 days Indeed. if u stay here ...u will have to follow up multiple times to get things done. you will pay for service and at last will have beg for service.

The room is not very big, but it is clean and warm, with a small balcony. I lived there on the New Year's Day, so it is too expensive. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the beach. The beach is beautiful, but there is a lot of rubbish. Many of the people staying there are the Europeans and Americans. The breakfast is not rich, but it is ok.

We didnt stay at the Casa de Goa but at a guesthouse close by. When the beach shacks were late opening in November 2019 we used the Casa de Goa sunbeds, pool and had food there during the day. We were charged 300 rupees each to use the facilities and the internet, which i thought was very reasonable. All the staff at the Hotel are very polite and cant do enough for you. We ate most afternoons and the food is delicious. Nippon the pool attendant made sure we were well looked after during the day and John the waiter made sure we had all the food and drinks we needed. Excellent place to stay, I would reccomend this hotel to ant visitor its a gem. Thank you to the ***agement for allowing us to use your facilties.

This hotel is great for all ages. It's out of the main area but has everything one needs. The beach is a 2min walk away with lovely restaurants, bars, massage etc. plus there are small shops leading to the beach. Taxis are outside the hotel, bigger shops are in walking distance from the hotel. Buffet breakfast was lovely & pool was terrific..But at last day on checking out of the hotel have booked a Car for dropping me until the Panjim Bus stand but the car drive was very rude and he drooped us at wrong location just to save is fuel and we had to almost drag our luggage to the proper bus stand for almost half a kilometer. And also came to know that this cab i booked are private taxi's owned by individual person and they get fixed amount from the Hotel guys for drop and pick up that the reason they just drop us at wrong location and run away.

On the last day of leaving the Kyriad resort, we felt that we are leaving another home in the resort. Staying 4 days at the resort with family is really a nice and peaceful experience. The resort has given us the family atmosphere and such a kind staff supports every need of the family. All the staff of the resort are always as standby to make hassle-free to us at the resort. The water pool is very convenient for children who even below 15 age and they play in the pool without any worry from keeping watch on them while they are in the pool. The lobby and passage of the resort are very attractive and make us feel so enjoyable. As I said, my family has also loved this resort as getting experience like home. Even, the location of the resort is a very familiar area from which you can reach Calangute beach, market and restaurant by a short walk. The staff of resorts have given very warms welcomed to us on arriving. Really, it is an unforgettable stay experience at this resort for me and my entire family members. I am definitely recommended this resort to my friends and relatives to enjoy the holiday at Goa with family.

My fourth visit to Adamo the Bellus in Goa. Here I am always well taken care of without it being rushed. The hotel respects the privacy of the guest as a good hotel should. On my first visit, Adamo was a savior in distress, as my booking of another hotel proved useless and the hour was late. The current stay has been extra long. Not two weeks like the previous ones, but almost five weeks. Partly with my wife. The hotel is of a good standard. (I usually choose "Regency-room" To get some extra turning space in the private.) The bed is firm and good, not hard. My wife liked it too. Toilet and shower are fresh. Wifi works well. There are interruptions both on WiFi and electricity in Goa / Calangute, but I have been able to work and use communication apps with colleagues and family without much trouble. For breakfast I choose / combine between Toast, Dosa, Masala Omelette, Indian Classic, Porridge, Coffee / Tea, and more ... The distance to street life and commerse is 20m. I appreciate walking to and from the beach via back streets with genuine Indian life. And outside Adamo's gate there is a taxi service that offers decent prices. I must not forget the spa that is directly adjacent to the hotel. Both my wife and I were completely satisfied. Finally, I want to thank you who work at Adamo for a good stay! I apologize for the fact that the list is both incomplete and may have misspellings. (I'm Swedish) Big thanks to: Linette, Surendra, Shubhanshu, Shankar, Aniket, Deb and of course Shirin I’ll be back! /Clarence

We’re just back from a two week stay at the SoMy Hotel!... Hotel reception staff!... check-in was very swift and the reception staff were always very helpful throughout our stay! The room!... our room was lovely and spacious with a firm comfortable bed and obviously it had the usual air-conditioning but also had an additional ceiling fan. The walk in shower came complete with a wonderfully refreshing high fan shower head. Room cleaning!... the staff always carried out a first class job in cleaning the room and leave two bottles of free mineral water each day + the usual replenishing of tea/coffee and they also left some very imaginary towel orrogarmy The buffet breakfast/restaurant area!... the breakfast area was just perfect, with the chef cooking up turkey sausages and omelettes, with extra ingredients added on request... plus there are numerous hot and cold dishes to choose from at the buffet area, both Indian and European! All the restaurant staff were so friendly and helpful, with a special thank you to the restaurant ***ager Vivian, one couldn’t want to meet a nicer chap, he’s a real asset to the hotel and also Abhijeet (Bobby) again!.. an absolute lovely friendly fella Swimming pool!... the pool was always a nice treat at the end of a beach day and there were aways spare sun beds in shaded areas + lots of umbrellas for additional shade, a must in the Goan sunshine ☀️ Location!... location is very central... ideally placed in Calangute, just back from the main town. The beach is around a 10 minute walk from the hotel, you cross the rd from the hotel gates and keep walking straight until you see the sign to the Chelsea shack, follow that and you’ll find a lovely beach There are numerous restaurants and bars in walking distance of the hotel, or if you fancy a far more livelier beach or night out, it’s a 15 minute walk into the main town of Calangute... or 5 minute ride by tuktuk, a tuktuk costs 100R= roughly £1 or £2 by taxi!! My tip!... don’t worry about bringing rupiahs with you, as we didn’t!!... changing money couldn’t be easier as directly across the rd from the hotel is a cash point/machine with its very own security guard outside as the machine is inside a little room, we drew out 10.000R each time, about £100... Though on arrival do take some loose change with you £/€1 coins or $ bills for the airport and hotel baggage attendants... as it’s a charge of £1 per case/bag!! So yes!!... we had a lovely stay at this hotel, the whole trip was a very different summer sun break/adventure... we’ll definitely be back and would absolutely recommend the SoMy hotel Resort in Calangute

Let me tell you we have been to Azzure multiple times and few things that remain as memories we cherish are: It's like a 1.5 Rooms in Junior Suites which served our purpose since we were three Friends traveling It's Junior Suites have a Balcony where we could enjoy our Tea and Free time They have some Amazing Food, whatever we have eaten there turned out to be Delicious, be it Room Service or Dine in Their wifi works absolutely fine and is accessible to all places The scooty and car is available closeby though they charge bomb hence must negotiate Their Pool is clean and cocktails at the Pool as well as Snacks are lipsmacking Few things they could improve upon: Car Park is ample but is an issue when Hotel fully occupied since you must be a skillful driver not to scratch your car Had to repeat multiple times for Room Cleaning yet wasn't done Their Billing takes ages hence you must inform 2-3 hours before check out if you want to be tension free about checking your flight While the Food was Amazing, their Tea used to be cold most times and at times was reheated Like I said, we have been there multiple times but would be apprehensive vising next time.. hopefully they would do well for us to return again..

We stayed here for 2 nights in a superior room which was little side pool facing,222 to be exact. All precautionary measures were in place. The food was good and fast to arrive. Breakfast buffet has wide spread with limited fruits option. There is a book reading, carrom and table tennis table near pool. The pool looks huge in pics but it’s small and can take 5-6 people to look crowded. Gym facility also available. 3 adults may crowd this superior room but works ok with 2 adults and a child. Room has a shower and tap(small kids difficult to give bath without a mug and bucket or mobile shower handle) staff are courteous and prompt. Calangute beach is about 2.4kms and baga about 3.5kms from here. One can walk directly opposite to hotel entry for about 950m and land in a less crowded beach , probably also calangute. Shacks are there to serve but does not have the glitter and crowd like proper calangute. For privacy this could be perfect. The hotel was 50% occupied when we arrived but we were denied early check in(11:30am) so we spent some time near by and came back at 2:00pm for check in. Goa has this trend of starting late (11-1pm) and closing very late at night(12-3am) especially for hotel, shops or restaurants. Overall good experience.

This was our 4th visit to the Casa our hotel of choice when in Calangute. We chose the Casa for a number of reasons, the location, the peacefulness and the staff. As on previous occasions I booked directly with Johnson the General ***ager and secured the room we wanted which was a super deluxe at the front top near the bar. The rooms as always were clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast our first day was the normal buffet, however on every other day you are given a menu and then you just need to pick out what you want that day. Plently of choice Indian or English. We had a couple of Pool days and ordered food and drinks both days again food was of a very good quality and very tasty. Unfortunately as we were here during the ramp up of coronavirus and there was only 4 of us in the hotel. My only niggle would be the Wifi, however when Johnson phoned us in the room one day shortly after our arrival I raised this with him and were given an alternative WiFi code which seems to be a bit better at conecting . The only other issue which isn't a deal breaker would be the lack of English TV channels compared to previous years. I appreciate we are on holiday and its not vitally important but sometimes we were not out late and only had the choice of one english film channel compared to most other hotels we had stayed which had around 4 or 5 All in all another good stay at the Casa and we will definately return

We were shifted here after the original Hotel we had booked failed to allot us a room. Hotel Celi is located in a small by-lane near the beach and can be hard to find. Larger vehicles (SUV and above) will find it difficult to navigate here. There are no good views on any side of the hotel. But the location can be a blessing in disguise - as it is well away from the cacophony and din that Calangute becomes every evening. We were alloted a 3 bed room on the first floor. Room had sparse furniture - just the beds, a cupboard, 2 side tables and a small couch. The TV was a 19-inch - too small for a room this size but it did not matter to us as it was not the agenda behind coming to Goa. Bathroom had a sink, Western WC and 24/7 hot water available. Do remember to keep the bathroom door closed as a lot of mosquito's enter the room from there. Bed sheets were clean but the bath towels provided were filthy. We were carrying our own hence did not bother to insist on a change. Room cleaning service was proactive so was the sincere effort put in when the AC stopped working one evening. Ample parking for two-wheelers is present should you choose to hire one during your stay. Overall this is a good choice if you just need a place to camp during the night

We visited this place in Diwali vacation with kids. We had very high expectations but it failed. First of all, it's not a resort. There is no parking space. No open space to roam around. There was leakage in living room & when we complained they mentioned you washed clothes in bathroom..this is unacceptable. No bathrobes, dental kit provided. Bathroom door was broken. We had to chase for room Cleaning. It's difficult to think resort without restaurant. Very few villas still there is no courtesy to inform about food timings. There was no food when we requested at 3pm for lunch. We had to order from outside. No dining area to eat food. Breakfast was included in the package but very limited options. It's not buffet. We requested to repeat the breakfast but it was finished. When asked for alternate breakfast options they denied. Swimming pool is very deep for kids.. No one is there for safety. Only good thing is location near beach. But you will get this Anywhere in Goa with way better facilities in lower price than this place. Veg food taste was OK not that great. We had to look for better food options nearby. You don't except such poor services at 4 Star resort price..So plz keep this in mind it's not resort..kind of villas with lot of maintenance required...just don't go by pictures..

i read few reviews about this hotel before i booked this one. reviews are extreme and wonder how can that be. If you are looking for a budget accommodation that this is one of them. Although their are numerous hotels around it. Now when i say budget that means you cannot get 5 star facilities . Its a basic hotel clean i can say . There is a restaurant below and around 12 rooms are build above that . Hotel is near to calangute beach . so thats the advantage. Rooms are big enough . ( i read few reviews about the hotel having small rooms ) they are not small. yes bathrooms are small. Hot water is available in the morning only. Bed linen and bath linen was clean but torn . so thats a shame. owner should look into this urgently lights bathroom in common areas were flickering which is very irritating. the common areas are a bit food and alcohol smelly as it has restaurant downstairs. that should be the case with almost all the hotels i guess as people come only for the very purpose . restaurant service starts at 9 . difficult for people who are used to having tea or coffee early morning when they get up. so was it for us too. Britishers taught how to make good tea to rest of india , but i guess portugese didnt teach goans how to make good tea. Tea is Goa is horrible .TEA WITH Pure MILK AND NO WATER ? terrible. we had to go out to restaurant opposite side for tailor made tea every morning. owner is request to arrange for hot water kettle with tea and sugar sachets as value added service and guest convenience. rest hotel is okay value for money . we had food is restaurant only once and was okay . there is a flat screen tv ,but we hardly saw it as thats not the purpose of visiting goa. lot of restaurants in and around so in a way good for guests

The place is near to Calangute beach around 1.5 Kms and very near by to calangute baga road and back side or Arpora road. The place is ideal if you just want to spend a lot of time near Calanngute, Baga and near by places. Titos lane is near by ***** with Tibetan market. The place is very near by to Saturday night Arpora market as well. You can easily get two wheelers near by the hotel, they are so ***y of them. Just look for bikes in good condition and try to negotiate. We got new bikes just Rs. 350 per day. We booked 1 room for 3 people which was spacious and they provided 1 extra bed for 3rd person. I think rooms on higher floor are better. Room service is okay and serves only beg food. If you are looking for non vegetarian food then you probably have to eat outside or order via swiggy. Some really restaurants are near by like Fat Fish on Arpora road ***go tree in Anjuna and Infantaria Restaurant for breakfast. Cleanliness is good and they offer room cleaning services everyday till 7 PM but change towels every 2nd day. There is issue of electricity cut off every now and then. The power back up takes 1 minute to come up. Our room had small kitchen as well with some utensils as well. This place has good parking space available for cars and two wheelers and seems safe as well.
