The staff is really nice and helpful, the rooms are clean, a bit small but didn’t need more space to be honest. Perfectly located: 10min walk to the Palais, 1min from high street, 2min from restaurants and bars. I was actually surprised how quiet the hotel was despite its premium location. I recommend.

My partner and I stayed here for a couple nights during my interrailing trip. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is a 2 min walk to the train station and about a 5 min walk to the beach. There are also lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and had great customer service! We arrived early but was able to check our bags in and headed out. Again, when we arrived back to the hotel late at night the male night reception was super friendly! Great customer service! However, on checkout the lady at reception was very rude. We overheard her ask for 40 cent more from the couple in front of us as the hotel had charged them wrong. And then without even saying hello she stated that we owe money. We had paid in full on arrival so was confused and asked why. She stated that the gentleman who checked us in had not calculated it right and that we owed €2. As this had happened to the people in front of us as well we felt it was wrong of them to be asking every customer for the extra money if it was the hotel at fault. She became very abrupt and said “will you not pay it then”. Obviously we weren’t bothered about the €2 but it was the way we were being spoken to considering it was the hotel at fault. Perhaps staff training in customer service is needed for this individual as well as training in basic numerical skills. Overall, I don’t want to leave a terrible review as it was only that one lady who treated us very badly and was very rude. All the other staff were amazing and went above and beyond! So yes I would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a cheap stay in Cannes with the perfect location! Just disappointed in the bad ending!

Pros: Basic hotel with nice staff. Negatives: 1. Pillow cases don’t fit, leaving yellowed & completely uncovered pillows open to touch your skin/face while sleeping lounging. 2. Non functioning AC in the rooms. Speaking with staff and asking them to visit the room, I was informed this is the normal functionality of the AC- which leaves the room the same stifling, humid temperature as the corridor- even hotter than outside in the summer heat (at night 20C outside, 29C in the room). Staff helped me open the room window fully to help let in air but with window facing a closed wall with other room windows this is no solution. I considered propping open the corridor door to allow some air flow and allow at least some relief- however clearly this isn’t a safe option…. Loud homeless people & groups of kids in the streets below intensify the annoyance of laying in bed, uncomfortable, sweating, unable to sleep with the heat & noise- don’t even think about being able to pull the duvet over yourself. Overall 1/10 comfort. If the above described experience feels like a 4-star hotel experience to you, then this is the place for you. Overview: Deeply, deeply unhappy with my stay and would not ever risk return. Cannes has loads of far better hotels at the same or even significantly less price point. (I’ve lived and worked in Italy and the south of France for 12 years, visiting Cannes at minimum three times a year during this period). There were other available options I know from previous trips that are very convenient and comfortable- for 50€ less a night… However some friends living here mentioned this hotel and I thought to try something new… extremely dissatisfied with the outcome.

I stayed at the hotel for a few days during MIPCOM in October. It's in a good location, not far from La Croisette. The staff is very attentive, particularly Magali who was very helpful in keeping and returning some clothes that I had forgotten at the hotel when I checked out. The dinner menu should be more diversified, as I found it very limited and repetitive.

The hotel is generally very close to the train station and walks for five minutes. Did not pay attention to the absence of parking. There are two kinds of breakfast, a kind of 9 euros, very simple, a few breads, tea, juice. There is another 19 Euro, which is a buffet, the variety is general, the price is not high. It is also close to the beach and it takes about 10 minutes to walk.

I stayed in this hotel for a week at the end of July 2022. I, who every year goes a week in Cannes in summer, and stays in middle-class hotels near the station, given the price and photos, I expected to be overall satisfied enough. For the little comfort I had in this racket room. The little maintenance. And even when my sticks disappeared ... All had very well started with the reservation one month earlier. The hotel was very friendly and helpful and was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. ROYAL I told me... The beginning of my stay, so I arrive at the hotel. And there, badaboum ... I get my room. Just in front of the reception. A small room. A MINUSCULE bathroom (Good luck to go to the shower if you are in overproids ...), a MINI dust for the entire room near the shower ... A bottle of water inside and the dust is full to crack up to the next day ... Very The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. I'm just two fingers away from the hotel. I'm looking for another on the internet ... But good, given the period, it's impossible to hope to find anything. And don't want to lose EUR 400 for nothing ... I call the number at my disposal since no one at the reception ... I fall back on the young man who took my reservation one month earlier. Always as sympathetic but impotent in my remarks. He told me that there is only one single room with double bed in the hotel and that, of course, the period is taken ... However, it was that I had to have, he told me ... I don't remember, what I can eventually I'll have to stay in a racket room for a week. Straight I never saw the least photo of this room on the internet photos of this hotel ... I can't invite anyone in, I'm ashamed of this room ... I never felt that ... I just arrive to enjoy a night offered view The hotel is a very good hotel, and the hotel is a good hotel. It was impossible to know, since no booking confirmation email was never sent to me ... However, the choice to stay there ... Great deception as the service

We always stay in the Victoria if we are in Cannes. You get fair value for your money, being just five minutes away from the glamour of La Croisette. Only the new price tags of the beverages in the bar are a bit out of a reasonable range. The hotel is a heaven of peace in a quiet neighborhood, has a very nice garden and even a small pool. The rooms are spacious and in perfect shape, separate WC included. Very comfortable king size bed. Water pressure a bit low. Parking is available for a reasonable price. Breakfast has remarkably improved since our last stay. Staff is professional and friendly as every time we stay. Overall, highly recommended!

I arrived on June 26th with my friend Roxanne Axalam who owns Annah Roxannah on the La Croissette. We could not secure the balcony door, it would not lock. Back upstairs, I looked around and found a metal pin hanging on a chain and played around with that. There was a hole drilled into the other sliding door where the pin fit to block the door. I had never in all my travels seen a lock like that. OK that is the lock. Later after swimming I came back and was laying my towel out on the balcony, I was on the balcony and there mosquitoes were around so I shut the door to the interior. The door blocked! I could not get in. I was barely dressed. Luckily I had my phone. On the sliding door- at the handle, a former client had put a small piece of cork in the space- it was blocked when you tried to open it from the outside. This was traumatic for me. I lost my cell phone and was looking under the mattress where I found a large kitchen knife between the mattresses. Other clients had problems with this lock and needed security. I told the staff to tell clients about the unusual lock. They were unfriendly. They spoke with a tone that was disrespectful and said I would have to pay for being locked out on the balcony. Sure enough- they used my bank information to take out 600 euros! Also, the shower door kept coming off it's track and was quite dangerous. Scandalous A terrible vacation, and am wondering if they target people to take out money from their accounts long after they leave!

On the occasion of a fair we took two rooms in this hotel, which seemed to have a value for money, me and a colleague, two double rooms. The location is strategic, very close to the small ring road of cannes but at the same time 3 minutes walk from the main street and 8 minutes from the Palais. The rooms are definitely ”standard” and old, with outdated carpets and furnishings; only the bathroom is saved. Sufficient cleaning. Parking available in adjacent silos for 16 euros per day, on average I would say what you would pay around. We found the staff not up to par: they wanted at all costs to charge you the cost of the one day breakfast that they claimed the colleague had done, but every day we did it together and outside the hotel. I did not insist on the controversy but, knowing my reason, I found it incorrect. In general, the solution is just acceptable if no alternatives are found

It is not a luxury hotel, but it has from its various points in favour, including cleaning (both in the rooms and in the common spaces), location (two steps split from the Croisette and the station) and the courtesy of the hotel (which may be trying to compensate the poor attraction of the hotel with so much gentleness and availability). The two main misses in the room are the frigobar (necessary in summer to keep water fresh) and a comfortable room, and the bathroom is a little small and sacrificed, but all together, for a few days, it still is comfortable. Breakfast would be improved with some fruit and some cookies/sweet extra. In conclusion, a good 2 stars, comfortable and unpretended.

The hotel location is very good, the prime location of Martinez Bay, the lobby is large, the decoration is exquisite, the check-in is fast and comfortable, and it usually takes three to enter the room. In the morning, you can enjoy the beautiful environment and rich variety in the garden and indoor hall, which are very artistically furnished. The private beach outside the hotel is booked and charged, but the service and facilities are amazing and worth it.

Is it a 5 star hotel? No not even close but it's descent for the area as it's an expensive area. Agreed that for $350 a night the customer service could be better. But the lobby and rooms are attractive and fresh. (A number of the hotels on my trip were outdated and beaten up.) I like that I had a balcony and there was coffee in the room. It's in a very good location: 15-minute walk from the train station and in walking distance to all the main attractions. A little noisy from the rooms next store. I didn't notice the smell other reviewers did but there is construction going on in the street in front of the building which could be related. In that you must pay the hotel to use the beach, probably better cache to buy the chair and umbrella from the adjacent glamourous Carlton. Get Outlook for iOS

The lady in the breakfast restaurant is such an amazing person, he praised the smartphone case, talked to Nico Nico and enjoyed it. The breakfast itself is of course delicious. Japanese fruits are usually better, but sweet and delicious! ! There are also good brands of black tea and herbal tea. Come out る You can relax on the private beach in front of you, and you are also close to shopping from the back door of P. There is also a supermarket. The facility is Bulgari, slippers are soft and fluffy ☆ No toothbrush (No other places in France.) If you ask me for your Wi-Fi password and try to enter the room, you need an ID and it is not connected (´ ;ω;`) When listening to the story, the same pass and ID will be entered! If you tell me at the beginning, you don't have to spend a lot of time, but this is the only benefit. We reached the front row by taxi, but the brother in the front row turned the car to the back P and took the luggage to the room. We went back a little bit on the way home, but it was not difficult. It's mostly 10 year I come to this small family hotel located 2 minutes far from the Palais the Festival. I can only say I feel like at home there: the rooms are not very big but cute, very clean and the bed is very comfortable. You have everything you need in the room. Breakfast is simple yet good. The staff and Owner very friendly. I recommend for sure!

I just tried writing a review but realized I was not logged in so writing again just in case. Villa Garbo was just perfect and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I was traveling with my niece and my sister. It was our first time in Cannes and we wanted a nice place where we could all stay together. We were originally going to stay in a family suite at Hotel Martinez because we thought it was right on the beach. We discovered though that none of the hotels along the Croisette are actually on the beach, you still have to cross the Croisette to get to them. You also have to rent sun loungers even if you are guest. And you can rent sun loungers without being a guest. We reserved first row sun loungers from Hotel Croisette Beach (you can email them and reserve in advance) and it's a safe easy walk, just under 5 minutes. We were able to get a much nicer place (a two bedroom penthouse) with all the benefits of staying right on the beach. Villa Garbo is has a cool hip vibe. You get the benefit of staying at a boutique style hotel but instead of a small room, you get a beautiful apartment with lots of space to move around. If it's available, I would highly recommend the Penthouse. It was amazing. We got a bonus one night when there was a spectacular fireworks display from a wedding that was taking place nearby. We had the best view in the city from our own private terrace. It was spectacular. I think there are often fireworks in July and August so you might get a treat too!

Wow! This hotel was absolutely amazing and one of the best on our whole Europe trip. It is a family run hotel so we appreciated that the staff were always so helpful in telling us what to do & where to go. Always someone on the front desk and they suggested the most amazing seafood restaurant to us one night and an Italian restaurant for the next night. The room we had must have been recently renovated as the bathroom was new & interior looked new! We were on the top floor with an incredible view over the shops/restaurants below and could even see the ocean from our balcony. Perfect to sit out there with a drink so ask for room #20 if you stay here!!! The hotel also has an elevator which can be hard to find in Europe so that was a bonus. And LOCATION!!! Can walk to everything. The only thing we could fault was that the bed was not the most comfortable, but for what we paid we were absolutely blown away by this hotel and cannot fault it. I have been recommending it to all family & friends! We will stay here again in a heart beat.

The hotel is a very good hotel, and the hotel is very good. The spa, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, swimming pool facilities have added a luxurious dimension to our stay. Every moment in this Palace was a sensory escape, a pleasant parenthesis where the time seemed suspended. This weekend will always be recorded in our memories as a pure delight and elegance experience. The hotel is a place where every detail is carefully orchestrated to create a symphony of pleasure and well-being, an exceptional stay that leaves an indelible footprint and wakes the desire to return to taste this splendour haver.

We come here every year since 2017. Initially we were meant to stay for 3 nights but have extended it to 5 nights as we had to work week days and wifi was good for video conferencing. It is not luxury hotel - it is practical hotel for family stay. It has enough space, table, 2 chairs, bathroom with walking in shower as well as bathtub. If you don’t fancy going out, you can microwave your meal in the room. The front desk is great, the manager lady is very professional and attentive and brunette gentleman (Thomas) was just outstanding: nothing was too much to ask. We felt very safe there. It is true about noise coming from the street and rubbish trucks but this is also true if you stay in other city in South France as these services only work overnight due to the traffic and heat during the day. They were kind enough to recognise our loyalty and bring us small gift with a note. Housekeeping lady is very polite and diligent. Her service was very consistent. Especially when you stay more nights, it makes a difference. Towels are of good quality. I would say the only negative is ever increasing price. It is more than double of pre-covid times and further up from last year. It is no longer good value Cannes option it used to be. I hope we can still afford it next year.

There is a beach, children love it. Regent had a power outage for an hour at dinner. The room sent a lot of drinks and Easter eggs. The chocolate tasted good. Because I was a platinum member, I booked a room on IHG and Ctrip. Compared with the way of handling power outages complaints, Trip.com has responded more quickly and actively. It is committed to changing other hotels of the same type for me if there is a continuous power outage. The measures have practical actions and are trustworthy. Looking back, after complaining about the IHG member's European hotline, he said that he would understand the situation, and then called me back, and then there was no more. Many hotels Housekeeping are African-American or Muslim, but the service is really good, it is recommended, and it is more worthy of praise for Trip.com! So I give five points.
