When we drove up to the Stay Express Hotel in Ft. Worth, I'll be honest, we were concerned. But don't let the outside of this place discourage you. This place is a great bargain, great location and clean! The rooms, lobby area, and breakfast area are freshly painted and well maintained. The bathtub and air conditioning unit are dated but the bed was comfortable. Our room was next to the ice machine and we heard it during the night, but the hotel it was very quiet. Just request a room away from the ice machines if you're a light sleeper. This hotel was half the cost of hotels in downtown Ft. Worth and only 5 minutes away!

I experienced a snafu when booking online (pictures showing issue.) Thankfully I had taken screenshots to show the price and the date. When I hit complete booking it changed not only the date but the rate. Also, the reservation agent was rude and apathetic. I don't think she was associated with the hotel directly, however. These little issues do not prevent me from giving this hotel five stars because of the great service we received. From check-in until check-out Jorge made us feel welcomed, like old friends but still maintained his professionalism. When we arrived late, due to a long trip, he offered us a very nice gift. Linda was also helpful, along with the other front desk personnel. I think my husband summed it up when he said these are just nice people. They obviously enjoy their jobs and working with the public. The hotel room was on the 4th floor at the corner of main and 6th offering a perfect view. It was equipped with a Keurig and mini fridge. The bathroom was a nice size with a separate shower and tub. There was a make up mirror and a large lighted mirror. There was a small ledge in the shower for trial size toiletries. Water pressure was good and the shower was hot almost right as we turned it on. There were plenty of towels, washcloths, and two nice size bathroom rugs. The best part of the room was we never heard any noise from neighbors, either beside or above! I usually stay on the very top floor because I hate hearing footsteps above me. We never heard anything except the excitement from the downtown area. The bed was "springy" so we felt every move the other made. The bathroom could use some updated tile as white shows every crack and mark. There was a narrow shelf by the vanity but I would have liked more space to put makeup, etc. The hair dryer was full size and worked great. There was a ball of hair behind the trash can when we checked in but assuming it was just an oversight. The rest of the room seemed clean. Housekeeping, room service attendant and valet were courteous. Regarding in room dining, the food (spinach omelet with fruit and omelet with chicken sausage) was just ok but coffee and real cream were great. Recommendation for travelers: take screenshots during and after your booking. Online is the only place that shows full confirmation number. Email only shows a short number. Also, check that your email confirmation matches the dates and rate you were shown prior to completing booking. Request for hotel: 1) confirmation email should show the full confirmation number, 13 characters instead of the 6, since the 13 is what the reservation & front desks need 2) maintain the same dates/rates after booking as on screen just before clicking confirm booking 3) ability to view and change reservation online. Because of the great service, ideal location (close to several shops and restaurants) and quietness of the rooms, we will definitely stay here again.

My family and I booked this hotel for a weekend cheer competition in Fort Worth. Upon arrival the hotel entrances and parking to check in were roped off. We pulled over and I called the front desk asking where we were supposed to enter to check in. The lady, Leah, told me to use the parking garage entrance. I asked why the hotel didn't send something out to guests before arrival. Leah responded that she didn't know and was very busy and asked if I needed anything else(with thick sarcasm). I apologized for keeping her. Once we made our way into the hotel and waited through the check out line we met Leah. She asked if we found the parking garage but before I could answer she exclaimed, "Because you hung up in my face!" I explained that I had apologized and hung up because I thought our conversation was over. Leah rolled her eyes and then proceeded to be very short with me. She asked for a credit card for incidentals and I gave her my card. She said it was declined. My husband gave her his card (that worked at dinner just before we arrived). She said it too was declined. I gave her my debit card and magically this one worked. When we checked out my credit card that she stated was declined worked perfectly fine. Now if our experience with Leah wasn't bad enough house keeping never came during our stay and we had to call and request towels and toilet paper for our room. The hotel is also going through renovations at the moment. The wall paper is missing or peeling off the walls in hallways and the gym was missing a floor and there was concrete dust everywhere. We were told that there was a free shuttle service that runs every 10 minutes. Saturday when we got ready to leave for competition the shuttle never showed and we ended up having to drive to the competition and were late. My family will not stay at this establishment again.

This is the best location in the Stockyards as it is centrally located in the area at the corner of Exchange and Main. We stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking Exchange Ave and were concerned that the noise level from the street might be loud when we first got to the room. Although we might stay away from Exchange the next time we stay at the hotel, the volume from the street was not too bad. The entire staff was friendly, but I have to say the valet staff went above and beyond. It is best to park your vehicle and walk wherever you are going because everything is close by, and there are so many cars passing through and people walking in the area that it is a nightmare to drive through there at night. The valet lot where they were going to park our vehicle was one block behind from where I was sitting in with a band on guitar that evening. Instead of having to get the car, drive to the club, unload while double parked on a busy street, re-valet, and then walk back to the club, the guys at the valet walked over to the lot with me so I could get my gear and even offered to help me carry everything over to the club. Whenever we stay in the area, we will definitely stay at The Stockyards Hotel.

While the hotel is not downtown, it is really pretty close, especially to the Stockyards. We were in Fort Worth for NASCAR further up the interstate, so this hotel was really convenient to the highway. The desk staff personnel were extremely friendly, every time we walked in or out the door. I really don't have any complaints other than the room was a little smaller than I would have liked. I stay in IHG hotels when I travel for work and for family trips, so I know what they are usually like. We did have a two queens room for a family of four, but it was really pretty tight. But it was fine for just one night - just something to keep in mind.

We stayed the night of 3/6/20. Close to I-30 and TCU campus. Walking/jogging trails behind hotel in Trinity Park. Near Ft Worth Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our bathroom was missing the complimentary soaps and lotions. We called the desk and the manager immediately brought some up to our room with apologies. The lobby and breakfast area were immaculate and the breakfast had a large and delicious selection. There are restaurants right in front of hotel for convenience. Highly recommend.

As a Gold member with IHG since 2017 I do not recommend anyone staying at this hotel. The way I was treated at this hotel has forever changed the way I look at any Holiday Inn Express and Suites. I am a frequent traveler I travel every week, hotels are like my second home. I checked into this hotel on Monday 1/8 and during that night the heat kept going in and out. The next morning I informed the general manager Max Parcells who stated they would get it fixed. This is where the mess kicks in. I the past I have had house keeping steal items from my room. They took $50 out of my suitcase. (Super long story but I have a review on Trip advisor as well with them) so for that reason alone and I don’t want it to happen again I keep a camera in my room that rolls so I can know who enters my room. I don’t even allow house keeping to clean my room during my stay I always keep the greener choice AND do not disturb sign on my doors just in case. I knew that maintenance would be coming in to my room and that did not bother me. What bothered me was when an employee of this hotel started rummaging through my things on the dresser is what set me off. I informed the general manager max of this and even sent him the video. When I arrived back at the hotel he took absolutely no responsibility. His words and I quote “That employee was going in to check to make sure the heat was working and he noticed a cloth on the dresser and we are required to check those to make sure housekeeping did not leave it behind” Ok what?! I had the greener choice sign on my door which is also what he said himself then proceeds to say “Well maintenance could of left a towel in the room and he was checking” Ok again what?! First off Max you’re completely incorrect because I have videos showing that the maintenance person did not go ANYWHERE near the dresser plus there were multiple towels around my room and that employee just so happens to go to the one on the dresser near personal items that were no where near close to the AC unit?! Stop the lies!! The AC tech did his job and left. Your employee decided to stop by my dresser and rummage through my personal items then walks over to the AC unit which let’s note was on the other side of the bed. HE HAD NO RIGHT TO TOUCH OR GO THROUGH MY ITEMS! Oh but it gets better. Once Max knew his employee was wrong which by the way still took no accountability for proceeds to say to ME the customer and I quote “And ma’am in the future please do not put cameras in your hotel room there are privacy laws.” Well Max if you knew Texas laws you would know 1. You don’t need consent to record someone (sad but true) 2. I paid for that room for the nights that I stayed with MY personal belongings in that room so YES I will record because of people like you and others who think it is ok to steal or rummaged through other people’s things. I escalated this situation to corporate who then sent it back to Max at the hotel and once again he

Typically when I travel with my wife we try to stay at more upscale properties, because we consider that part of the vacation experience. When traveling by myself, or when traveling unexpectedly, I looking for more value oriented places to stay. Both were the case in this instance, because I was traveling to the bereavement ceremony for a dear friend he died very suddenly without notice. I picked the Staybridge Suites because it is newer (and I LOVE new properties) and the price was right. On the positive side, I will say that when I opened the door to my room I was pleasantly surprised. It was a King Suite, and it was quite nice – definitely meeting expectations and perhaps exceeding them a bit. Overall the property is pretty nice, being relatively new. I will also say that everyone I dealt with at the property was quite nice, in a friendly southern sort of way. Everyone just seemed pretty friendly, which was good considering the circumstances I was traveling under. That said, I was really frustrated with a couple of occurrences, the sort of thing reminds me of why I pay extra to stay at 4 and 5 star properties when planning my travel. Saturday morning, when going through my routine, I discovered something I hadn’t noticed when arriving late the night before – the toilet was broken. When I was departing for the morning on a Saturday, I called down to the front desk and asked that it be looked after while I was gone, as well as if my room could be clean by the chamber maid. I was told this would not be a problem. I returned 4 hours later, opened the door, and discovered my room had not been touched. I then went straight into bathroom, having strong need to use the facilities, which was followed by learning the toilet had not been fixed. Now I’ve got a dirty room and a full toilet bowl that won’t flush. Not exactly upscale hoteling. I called to the front desk who offered apologizes (great), but what I really needed was my toilet fixed. The gentleman who came after some time was nice enough, and the fix was perfect (in fact, how did it get to be in that condition in the first place? The maids didn’t report to engineering that the handle was failing apart??), but still, you know? Why did it take to too calls and my being inconvenienced? Later when I went out for early dinner I again asked about getting the room cleaned, and it was fine when I returned. In summary, nice property, nice people. Perhaps my experience was an exception. Would stay again if I had need to and the price was again right, but I could have lived without the aggravation.

This was the first time I have stayed at a low-end budget hotel, and I had a very good experience. The hotel is recently renovated with fresh paint, new carpets, new baths. The receptionist was friendly. The room had TV, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, microwave, very comfortable bed and pillows, very quiet heat/AC window unit. Breakfast offerings were Frosted Flakes and Raisin Bran, apple and orange juice, coffee, sweet rolls, bagels, toast, coffee, and yoghurt. I only downgraded the hotel by one star because it had VERY bright LED lights shining in my window from outside parking area. They could have pointed them down, not at the windows.

The staff really sets this Motel 6 in a league of its own. The rooms are clean, well kept, and the location is easy access to the highway without the highway noise. This is the first motel experience I have had where I left the front office each time I was there (to continue rebooking) with a smile and feeling any question or request I had was answered or met with their full attention and care. Like I said, you can stay at any motel, but if you want to feel treated like a real person they care about instead of a number filling a room and at the mercy of a rude staff, come stay here and experience the high end hotel customer service for a motel 6 price!

The hotel has been remodeled and is very clean. Overall the staff is very nice and helpful. The front desk staff politely asked me if I knew about the mask ordinance because I accidentally left mine in the car when I checked in. She politely/insistently offered me a mask. I had no issue with that, but when we were leaving for dinner, there were 2 young ladies at the front desk who did not have masks. Our brother in law had been waiting for us in the lobby and it definitely did not appear that she was insisting that they wear masks. There were also 2-3 other people in the lobby area who were not wearing masks. I wish that they had been more consistent with the policy. Our main concern relates to other guests which we realize which is no fault of the staff. We returned to the hotel from our family's house around 10 pm. We parked in the back close to an exterior door near our room and close to the swimming pool area. We saw a couple of people behind the fence by the pool who left as soon as they saw us park. We could smell marijuana from our car all the way to the door. We realize that most hotels don't have security patrols but it definitely doesn't make us want to stay there again.

Surrounding environment is good. But the accommodation experience was not good. Staff are mainly black and Latino. First of all, the black girl had a happy exchange with her companion when checking in. Suddenly she became indifferent when receiving us. There was no smile, no visual communication and no explanation. Later, I found that the English expression of the staff here is ambiguous and heavy. (Latin?) Accent, maybe their language ability affects their communication. The air conditioner in the room where we stayed was unable to adjust the fixed temperature. Either the temperature keeps rising or the temperature keeps decreasing, the phone cannot be used and cannot be used. The maintenance staff who found it gave them a bad explanation in English and did not solve the air conditioning problem. Had to find the front desk to change rooms. The black girl at the front desk gave the other room key without any explanation, and then asked her about the curtains, and she couldn't say clearly for a long time. Even the curtain curtain sounded weird, I really guessed it. Stayed together for one night and found that she was still on duty the next day and often could not find anyone. All in all, it was the only time I felt unwelcome.

Awesome staff, very Professional! During my stay, I experienced an outstanding and excellent world-class customer service from management and the front desk A- team…. Only thing I found bad with this hotel was the shampoo. First, I’m not a fan of dispenser soaps in hotels. Second, the shampoo was labeled “tea tree.” This is a very strong essential oil. As I was using the shampoo my scalp started to tingle. As I rinsed the suds rain over my eye lid and down the side of my face. My skin started to tingle. I rinsed my face and when I opened my eye the fumes from the tea tree shampoo burned my eye. We are Visiting Texas and it’s a new hotel each day. I had forgotten my shampoo and the one time I needed to rely on the small complementary soap, several hotels used the dispenser soaps. Anyhow! Stay here. This hotel is very clean, comfortable and the desk staff are welcoming. It’s easy to get to as its right off the highway. Many restaurants are near, many within walking distance. The in room coffee is very good! You do have highway noise but turn the heat/AC fan on, that helps hide the noise.

I’m sorry, but I would think you would hire people to work the night shift who understand that people are coming in tired and ready for bed. Not hiring people who have a serious attitude about having to do their job at odd hours. My 8 month pregnant daughter and I show up for our reservation, both needing to use the bathroom, Both very tired from driving 11 hours for a family emergency. The lady working the front desk is far from friendly. She acted very aggravated that we showed up at 4am, talked to me as if I were an idiot, telling me she canceled my reservation because I didn’t show up. I told her we indicated when we made the reservation that we were traveling and would be arriving in the middle of the night. She miraculously found our reservation after telling me repeatedly that it was canceled, and she gave us the room keys. Keys that didn’t work, and when I had to come back downstairs twice because our room key didn’t work, she told me to call from the phone by the elevator if I can’t get it to work. I do that. All she says on the other end of the phone was “I’ll change your room” and hung up. I had no idea if we needed to go downstairs or wait for her. I chose to go down, while my daughter and 4 month old puppy waited with our luggage by the room door. She came up, was quite rude to my daughter and told her that if our puppy is going to be aggressive, he needs to be muzzled, and asked her to wait across the hall away from her while she changes the room. Now. My pup is 4 months old. 4 months!!! He goes everywhere with me and is very socialized. But he did growl when she came around the corner. I still don’t understand why she was so hateful? It’s not WHAT she said but how she said it. This was the breaking point for me as her attitude through the entire transaction was crap. She came back downstairs and told me “your daughter has the new keys upstairs” as she walked past me. You can hear the eye roll from around the corner. I’m tired. I want a bed to sleep in. Tomorrow I will be talking to a manager about her poor attitude. Other than the employees attitude, the place is nice. Clean.

Bad experience from time of trying to make reservation to going to bed. I am sure tomorrow will not make things better. First reservation quoted me a lower price because I didn't want to stay on the fact didn't want to pay $140 so was going somewhere else. Then charged my card three times, but took off. But told them was using another card to pay when got here. Talked to manger she agreed to it then turned around and charged my card again a day before I came. Then once got there they wanted another $50 to hold for damages. With out going into detail we had a reason for what card we used. Then the elevator was making noise and then it started to shut the door then opened and started to go down while door was open. Told them about it and all we got was they looked at it and is it fine. They needed to service it to check it not just look at it. Now have to walk 4 flights of stairs with luggage because we are afraid to ride the elevator. Not once did the manger come out of her room to approach our concerns. Besides that the rooms need update, rug has stains, bathroom toilet lid broke and floors cracked. But still a clean nice looking hotel. Don't think I will ever come back here but for you I would still not steer away from here because the odds of you having the same issues then us are slim. Don't think there is any other hotels so you might not have a choice. There is a Denny's right here that you can walk to with out crossing any streets. Shell gas station and other places near by.

When we had to get to a Hotel quick I located Extended Stay America and I had scheduled with the one not too far from here but I thought I was at the correct one. I went in and they did not tell me that I was supposed to be at the wrong Hotel. I wanted my kids to have a pool, me the hot tub, and breakfast. This one had none of the three! Don't be fooled. I've had to get breakfast every morning and we have been here a week. I asked if we could switch to the original one and was told that I'd forfeit the $517.00 I paid for the week. This has been horrible. Don't do it! You cannot even get extra toilet paper. Beware!!!

This is our second year to stay here during the Fort Worth stock show. We love this hotel. It is about a 5 minute drive from the coliseum, and very reasonably priced. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The bed is very comfortable.

I have stayed here a couple of times. The staff are friendly yet not fully engaged. On both visits management and or staff dropped the ball. If you have a basic in and out stay GREAT place. If you have a request and or an issue pack up your belongings and head on home. 1st stay... ask for my IHG points the desk clerk stated he did gave me the points. After the stay I looked on the IHG site and he did not. 2nd stay. Bathroom smelled of old cigarette smoke. I do have reactive airway issues w cigarette smoke. So I went to the lobby to use the restroom. I told the front clerk about the issue he said he would talk w management and the maintenance director and send someone on up. 2 hours pass nothing. I head back down. He forgot. I found a manager. She came to my room and indeed confirmed my bath room smelled of old cigarette smoke. Manager said she would take care of it. If it was not cured she would move me to a different room. Housekeeping director came to the room. She confirmed it smells like old cigarette smoke. Housekeeping director sprayed air freshener. I went to work. Returned and sure enough the bathroom and my closet smelled of old cigarette smoke. Called the front desk. Clerk informed me “I know nothing about this issue and I have no rooms to switch you too”. Mean while I am using the bathroom in the lobby as my room bathroom causing an asthma type attack. Wake in the am. Use lobby rest room as my bathroom is unusable. Get dressed realize my clothing smells of cigarette smoke. Go to work. Return and talk w the manager. “Oh yea. We don’t know what is causing the smell. Let me talk with the General Manager and see what we can do. Mean while I still can’t use the bathroom and continue to make my way to the lobby restroom when needed. Yea. Not so much for customer service. The hotel is nice. It seems clean. Rooms spacious.

Hotel was recently updated so common areas and rooms are up-to-date and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful (Shadarius was very polite, efficient and engaging at check in). Highway noise was not really an issue and had easy access to the major roads to get around the metro area. Standard hotel breakfast fare - hot and well stocked. Pool area and exercise room were clean and functioning as expected. Beds firm (my liking) but pillows a little weak. Safe in room helpful. Overall very pleasant stay.

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Fort Worth was the first time I had stayed in a hotel since early March. With the outbreak of Covid-19, I was a little worried about what staying at a hotel would be like in a Covid-19 world. For visitors to this Hilton Garden Inn, I felt extremely secure. The lobby was accessed by key only, my room was absolutely spotless and rooms were sealed before entering. Throughout my room were references to the Hilton CleanStay disintecting processes which include extra cleaning of handles, knobs, remote controls etc. Staff is friendly, beds are comfortable, my shower worked well, and rooms include mini-refrigerators and coffee making facilities. My room had a great view of downtown Fort Worth, the location is excellent and I slept well. My trip was for a Labor Day visit to the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum and the Fort Worth Botanic Garden which are all only about two or three miles from the hotel. The location is safe and restaurants are close by - including a Torchy's Tacos and Jason's Deli near the hotel parking area, just a couple minutes walk from the hotel. A short drive includes local Fort Worth institutions like Curly's Frozen Custard and several restaurants on West Magnolia Avenue. Breakfast is served safely during Covid-19 as I ordered at the lobby restaurant counter and could take my breakfast (scrambled eggs, toast, fruit and coffee) either back to my room or eat the meal in the well-spaced lobby.

If you're searching for a room, whether it be for one night or one month, whether you're visiting from Timbuktu or Tyler, Texas, there is scarcely a better hotel in Fort Worth for its price range that provides the number of accomodations than the Super 8 on N Beach St. The proprietors of this franchise are true hospitality professionals in that they go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. During my stay I had ice cold A/C around the clock, complementary toiletries, fresh linens and towels every day, free WiFi, breakfast, and access to a pool and fitness center. When I had a question or concern that needed attention, the hotel reception always met me with grace and attentiveness and I never left feeling that my needs weren't met. The Super 8 on N Beach St in Fort Worth is the hotel for the person who knows the value of her dollar and expects to be treated with courtesy and respect during the entire length of her stay. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

We spent our 37th anniversary at the Texas White House Bed & Breakfast. It was practically perfect in every way! We stayed in the Lone Star Room - very appropriate for the other activities we had the rest of the weekend- touring the Stockyards and shopping in "Cowtown". The room was wonderful - western themed - all decorated so nicely and effectively maintaining the 1910 feel of the property. Snacks available ater hours were delicious and enjoyable. Saturday breakfat (Mexican) was simpy delicious - Cindy came out and visited with us and the other guests, sharing about other restaurants and night spots that were worth visiting. Sunday breakfast was prepared by Mindy and was equally wonderful - banana waffles w/caramel & pecans, eggs & bacon. Everything about our stay was wonderful - even down to the "little" things - small fresh flowers on the dresser, some OUTSTANDING body wash, shampoo, & conditioner available and the towels were fabulous. It's a beautiful B&B and Cindy and crew are professional & friendly - perfect hosts!
