With the style of modernist architecture and ranch-inspired highlights and touches, it beacons right in the heart of downtown Valencia. Christmas is in the air with the scent of lavender and holiday tunes when you reach the front desk. Visayan hospitality warms you as well-trained and helpful staff attend to your every request. Being the only building in Valencia with a low-rise elevator (or so I was told) the rooms are spacious, lush & crisp with the comfort of a five-star hotel, truly unimaginable in this part of the Mindanao region. I was quick to update my messages when I connected to the fast wifi connection and felt that, for a moment, I was back in BGC, Manila. We ate at the in-house and Bukidnon Roadhouse Cafe where we (myself, my wife and two teenage boys) had Spanish callos and beef lengua (ox-tongue) and were delighted to the sumptuous meal. Finally, capping the evening with complimentary drinks at the at the Tisa Roofdeck Bar, my wife and I had the basil-mint mojito and the Irish-cream mudslide which really made a great nightcap while the cool December breeze flowed by the night skies. Awesome and unassuming. Truly when you come to a place where you keep your reservations and expectations at bay, something really awesome surprises you and you feel undeserving yet pampered just the same. If you would like to experience that, I invite you to come and visit Valencia. And visit the neighboring attractions in the region of Northern Mindanao.

It was my first time to stay in a hotel in Valencia. I was there for a wedding. I did not know much about Uno Business Hotel, but it did not take long before I got my first impression of the place. EXCELLENT STAFF. Very accommodating. Kudos to them. CLEAN PLACE. Well maintained and very clean. I loved the tables in the lobby where you can work even late at night. The room I stayed in was very cozy. Simple, but excellent. You'll never go wrong staying here in this place.
