Business trip, the hotel is 20 minutes walk away from the meeting place, very convenient, the hotel is fairly clean, hot water is provided. The hotel is close to Chinatown and there are supermarkets and small Chinese restaurants nearby. The consumption is not high. Close to the subway station, a few minutes. The only drawback is that it looks like the countryside, a few kilometers from the city center, but it's a thousand miles apart.

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Chinatown was recently opened in 2021, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Chicago. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 3km from LaSalle Street Station and 16km from Midway International Airport. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Cermak–Chinatown Metro Station within walking distance. There's plenty to do nearby, with Chess Records, Chinese-American Museum of Chicago and Second Presbyterian Church of Chicago all within a short distance. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.

I stayed at the Hilton Home2 Suites for 6 weeks, displaced by a fire next door to my home that damaged my condo. The first issue was valet telling me that they were full and suggesting that I park on Cermak where my car ended up being towed. I also had the pleasure of being a guest during this period of quarantine and thought I was safe at the hotel. No. Service completely went down without warning. First, breakfast completely stopped. Other hotels were still providing guests with bagged breakfast but this location? Nothing. Next, the hallway began to smell like garbage because guests were putting the garbage in the hallway (mo cleaning service) where it would stay for days!! I've taken out bags of trash because the smell was terrible! The final blow? Received a call on a Friday evening that I needed to check out the next day because the hotel was shutting down. The call came from my temporary housing company, not the hotel. The company thought I'd been notified. I had not. When I called the manager, Gabi (?), she was very nonchalant. I had to pack up 6 weeks worth of stuff in a matter of hours and move. I totally understand that the hotel was undersold and needed to stop but a better heads up would have been appreciated. Very tacky. What's funny, as all of my services dropped my rate never changed! Lol! But no worries, I continued to tip the staff that actually came and tried their best.

My husband and I both have held positions within the hospitalilty industry, him being an executive with Hilton at one point and I’m so surprised at the lack of customer service training!! We traveled 12 hours by car to visit family in Chicago, I called the hotel before midnight just to remind them of the notes on my account that we would arrive around 2am. The young lady who answered didn’t seem to care. She said “ok” as If to say well why are you telling me. We arrive at the hotel around 2am and unfortunately the ability to check in from my phone wasn’t available since it was after midnight. The front door is only Accessible with a rook key which we didn’t have because we are here to check in. We spent 15 mins outside knocking on the door and calling the hotel to locate a front desk agent! Eventually I saw a gentleman appear and we knocked on the lobby window and he let us in. While my husband unpacked the truck I wanted to get us checked in especially because we have a cranky restless 2 year old. I asked the gentleman could he check us in and he informed me that it wasn’t him that does check ins and the front Desk agent ran upstairs real quick. I said ok and expected someone to be down soon. My husband unpacked the truck and still no one to check us in. The guy kept calling someone on a walkie talkie and stated he didn’t know where she was. My husband asked if she was upstairs sleep or something and he said he didn’t know. After 25 mins the young lady name Kayla came from a side door with no hello, no I apologize for the wait or anything! With an attitude she said “you got a reservation?” Ummmmm yes!!! Because why else would I be standing here at 2am! I handed her my ID and credit card and I could barely hear anything she was saying through her mask and the plexiglass. She handed me keys and walked away. This was the start of poor customer service for three days! The next morning my husband went down to grab my daughter and I some juice and the front desk agent didn’t even speak and say good morning. When he walked past the desk again he said loudly “good morning!” Which forced her to speak. When I worked at Hilton the standard was to greet all guest! They could care less about us and it showed with us and other guest as we observed. There was one gentleman who I wish I grabbed his name, he spoke every time and even asked about our daughter. On night two an employee was standing outside and saw my husband had a lot Of bags and I’m carrying the baby looking for The room key in my purse. He said “y’all got a room?” We said yes and he acted like he was going to help open the door but then didn’t. As a corporate sales and customer services trainer myself, I was very disappointed and wish we booked at another hotel. My husband said something to the front desk agent upon check out regarding our experience and told her you never know who is staying in the hotel and you all treat guest poorly but never did she say thank you for staying with us, have a

The hotel is Fairly new and the rooms are clean and modern. Lots of places to plug things in. It is connected to the convention hall by an enclosed heated overhead bridge. It takes less than five minutes to walk directly into the West Hall. There are now dining options in McCormick place area. IL Cuiaccino is a good Italian option less than a block away. Pizano Pizza is next-door to that. Excellent deep dish and thin crust options. Fat pour is next to hotel and serves up very good pub food. There are other options as well. If you don’t want to spend 20 bucks at the hotel for breakfast there are options. The Subway Restaurant across the street is open for breakfast. My favorite was the McCormick market. A little bodega a block to the left of hotel. It’s a General store that has beer, wine and liquor. Go to the back and there’s a small grill. They serve a made to order oversize breakfast sandwiches They are served up on your choice of bagel; English muffin or croissant. They have good coffee too. The sandwiches will set you back only five bucks and they are huge. Go left out the door of hotel and walk to the light. Cross the street and it’s on your right. The room is large, one bed in the twin room is double bed size. Heating and air-conditioning will make people noisy, and they will wake up in the middle of the night. It can only be turned on for a while and then turned off before going to bed. The smoke alarm rang in the middle of the night. It turned out to be dead. Come at three o'clock in the middle to change the battery. The card was once degaussed, and I changed it. When I walked to the front desk, I didn't notice any customers (someone was lying on the front desk, didn't talk, and thought it was a staff member). rude". As a hotel, did you feel hostile? The heating system is so loud that will wake you in midnight. The fire alarm may ring in midnight just because it runs out of battery. The waiter in the counter called me rude when I failed to notice he was working. As a hotel, I found No hospitality, only some trivial hostility.

Disclaimer: I am a Marriott premium member. I stayed at the Marriott Marquis in March for business. Both the hotel itself and the staff are absolutely amazing. I would first like to call out Angela, Christopher, Cooper and Tabitha for their excellent customer service during my stay and ask that Management recognize them for their above-and-beyond service. The hotel is relatively new and this is my first stay in it and will not be my last. The rooms are laid out well with ample electricity for everything you need to plug in. I was able to connect my traveling Roku to the TV and was able to seamlessly stream for both business and music without a flaw. Note, however, the USB plug next to the bed does not seem to be able to charge tablets well, though that could be my tablet not liking the charger. The exercise area is huge and well stocked. The machines such as treadmills and weight machines are all in good working order. Nothing has been abused in the workout room. The bed was comfortable and a Marriott standard bed. I slept well during my stay. The M-Club is amazing with more than snacks during the dinner hour. Well enough for a decent meal and a good selection of beverages as well. There is a mini-food court on the property as well as the standard Marriott restaurant. Uber arrival and departure from the front door is not a problem whatsoever. Cabs are also available for ground transportation. All in all - excellent stay and I will be back here again when I need to work for my client nearby.

I wanted to write this review because I actually did like this hotel, however I did have experiences that I did not like. I decided to stay at this hotel because I had a surgery in Chicago and wanted to stay in a nice place with a nice view so that I could feel comfortable in my recovery. The view in my room was a corner city view and I truly loved it. It was exactly what I was looking for. Maya checks me and my friend in and she was extremely nice and helpful. I had called the hotel ahead of time to make sure that my room was clean upon arrival as I read a few bad reviews on cleanliness and wanted my room clean as I was going to recover in the room. As nice as Maya was the rest of the staff where not as friendly but they were not rude either, except for someone I called from my room to see if my grubhub had arrived, he rudely answered I dont know. I did not know how the process was and maybe he could have just explained it. The room was clean, the bed was sooo comfortable, the view was amazing. I won’t judge the place on room service and amenities because I understand during covid most services were not being held, however if I needed an extra towel or something I would call room service and they would bring it right up. The hotel is close to super markets, target, gas stations and Starbucks which was awesome. Now for the bad part, there were a bunch of people always hanging out by the entrance and i felt no privacy when I was checking in. People were allowed to wait on the reception area weather they were staying at the hotel or not. This made me feel unsafe as every time I left and returned to my hotel room a group of people would be there to see. I read a horrible review about a death on the parking lot a block over before my stay and so many people at the doorway had me a lil scared. Too many parties happened at the hotel for new year, crowded elevators with people that had no masks on. My room had an extreme cigarette smell that I had to go buy a febreeze because the smell was so overwhelming and I was staying at a non smoking room. The rugs and curtains smelled like ashes but the longer i stood in the room and sprayed fabreeze everything slowly but surely started smelling better. I loved the room and the hotel but I don’t think I would stay there again due to the crowd at the entrance. I am not sure how much of this the hotel can control but it still not a pleasant experience.

When you enter any establishment being greeted with a smile sets the tone for everything. I was greeted with a hostile guest which rubbed off on the staff members and in turn made my checkin uncomfortable. Then the staff members told us Pool was on 8th floor, my children get in their suits go to the pool to find it was not even filled or in service. We rented premium rooms with snacks and drinks got in to our room and found no drinks or snacks. The valet man in the evening was far from friendly. I also did not like how they would park my vehicle with hazards on and left unlocked on the street. Crime rate in Chicago is always high it would be a good suggestion to lock the vehicles rather than leaving them unattended and unlocked. Our room smelled like marijuana and yes I get it’s legal in the state however can you not circulate some fresh air into the ventilation system? The view was amazing but I was less than impressed with this stay.

We had pretty nice staycation for Valentine's Day. This is fairly old style traditional, even classic, luxe hotel in the heart of the Loop, close to Union Station, Financial District, Millennium Park and other "go to places" in downtown. Got early check in, and upgraded to very nice and spacious suite, as Marriott Platinum Member. Service was good throughout. Well, of course a lot of stuff is closed due to COVID, including Lounge. Florentine is pretty spot for breakfast and lunch, but the food options are limited, and somewhat mediocre. The pool experience was downright bad, once again, due to COVID regulations. Even after making required reservation for 1 hour slot, we couldn't enjoy the pool. It wasn't our idea to share the pool with a bunch of very noisy kids, even without COVID. Other than that, absolutely no complaints, and the value was good too. Recommend for both leisure and business travelers, especially if moderately priced.

We have stayed at EMC2 3 times in the last year and absolutely loved it each time! We would go as far as saying that it’s been the best city hotel we’ve stayed at in recent memory and would also add it to our top 10 list. EMC2 is close to everything but away from the noise too in downtown Chicago’s core. We found EMC2 to be well located to allow us easy access to the neighbourhoods we wanted to visit. We highly recommend checking out Sawada Coffee. EMC2 is such a treat for hotel design aficionados and was designed with the intent of hiding things in plain sight for your discovery. If you are sharing a room with someone, you might want to be well acquainted as the shower and vanity area are not very private but the shower itself encased in glass is unique and the shower head has good water pressure. We definitely noticed how high quality the bedding and linens were after staying at a Westin prior; you will sleep very well here and be comfortable in the plush robe provided. We also appreciate Leo and Cleo, the hotel’s robots that deliver things to your room when you call the front desk. This fits into the quirky but refined style of the hotel. Breakfast is included for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum and above and we do not agree with reviews that give the breakfast negative reviews; we found the service and the quality/quantity of the food to be quite high. We’ve tried the avocado toast, the breakfast sandwich, and the french toast and everything has been great. We also give them bonus points for making it very clear what is included and what is not compared to other hotels. We also never got her name but one of the servers there has been the best we've ever encountered at a hotel restaurant (and many other dining establishments). We hope to visit again one day when we can travel to Chicago! We visited pre-COVID so we cannot comment on how the hotel is now.

I took Metra in with Union Station for $10 Uber ride or 8 Min walk to Quincy Brown Line From Ohara, Blue Line connects Clark Lake station 10-12 blocks from Hotel The Hotel room may be on small-side but matched my needs, especially considering the price, locations and what was available around you in eatery, taverns and even a comedy club 4 blocks away I'm going to take in on my next trip. Ok that's my promo... Don't normally do this... But Hotel Felix was a good deal and I didn't have to spend $100-$150 or more to stay downtown at the last minute (Pricelined 3-4 hours in advance)

Like many, I've been avoiding hotels since the onset of COVID-19, but my husband and I needed a place to stay once night when there was work being done in our apartment. I was nervous staying at any hotel -- and this is coming from someone who had Diamond status before everything changed -- but I didn't need to be. In my experience, this property did a great job. The sanitation motto of the Kimpton Gray is "So Fresh, So Clean." As far as sanitation mottos go, I'd say that's a pretty good one. I'm not much of an experienced hotel denizen, but my Father definitely is. The Outkast reference was probably lost on him. What he did find during his three-day visit is that he'd never been more honest with his Son. He also figured out how to use the keycard to get into the room pretty quickly, which is a nice touch for us people with geriatric patriarchs in our family who insist on opening the door and tipping 15% when we go out (good luck trying to pay the bill). My stay at the Kimpton Gray wasn't like yours is going to be- or at least I'd hope so. To be honest with you, the internet vagabond reading this Trip Advisor review, I really don't have much to say by ways of critiquing the decor or evaluating threadcount. If you want to hear that stuff, read TanyaB561's review. If you do read it, do you think that Tanya is the kind of person you'd ever like to get advice from? I don't My Dad and I spent a ton of time in the room. I don't think we would have been there for hours on end, catching up and opening up to each other if we didn't feel welcomed by the oeuvre of the Kimpton Gray. We had permission to be ourselves. I'm glad we did. If we didn't, I don't think I would have learned as much about my Dad this weekend just going for walks up and down lakeshore. Although I cannot see him in the same way that only a loving father deserves to be seen by his child anymore, my view of him is clearer than ever. I have a greater understanding of my Dad, and isn't that all we can ask for from our parents? Also the room was so fresh and so clean (clean).

As we are counting down to our 12/11 49th starting 4 months out with 9 trips, The W joined in our playtime by offering (for $) upgrade to WOW suite. It was truly WOW’ing with a full view of Lake Michigan and a long bathtub for Bubble baths. Cleared out for Covid, upon request they brought up frig, coffee maker, wine glasses, plates, and utensils. This hotel is a fine property - but it is NOT set up for people who have cars and intend to valet them. There is no provision for anywhere to stop and go in and check in, no signs indicating that if you are going to valet that you need to drive to another street, and no valet attendants on station when you get there. I have no idea how the management of this hotel has process mapped the customer experience when using the valet is concerned. We got to the hotel location at about 8:00 p.m. and there are obviously not going to be any spots as far as street parking anywhere near the hotel to even be able to walk in. So, having gone around the block twice, I finally decided to pull in to where there was a sign for a valet for another Marriott property (Residence Inn). There are no signs there saying what you should do, nowhere for a car to be parked to wait, and no valet attendants there. Finding my way into the hotel I told the person at the desk that I had a car to valet and she absolutely jumped into the situation, went outside, and coordinated with the valet and ultimately got things under control. However - while this was going on there were people coming up to my wife who was in the car and telling her that if she didn't move it from the alley behind the hotel that they were going to tow the car. As a customer, it appeared to me that that had been not a single thought given to "So, when a guest comes in with a car to valet - what do we expect them to do?" Leaving was a very similar unpleasant experience. I called down at 12:40 to have my car brought around and was told it would be 20-30 minutes. We went down to the lobby a few minutes after one, and were told where the valet staff would come in when the car was there. 20 minutes later (40 minutes after we called down) a valet attendant came in looking for another car that I could hear the front desk staff had taken a call for while we were waiting downstairs and when I asked the valet attendant about mine, he said "Oh, I'll take care of it." So it appeared that my call had never been relayed to the valet staff. At 1:30 (50 minutes after I called down for it) I had my car. The hotel is nice enough, and I'll be the first to admit that as a guy in his 50s with a car, I'm probably not their target demo. I get that it's located in as urban an area as you'll find, and that parking is really, really tough. So just communicate to me that "You know, this might not be the best fit for you if you're bringing your car." That way if I decided to still do so, I'm the one making that call. But either way - if you are going to offer valet parking at your location, it seems to me that you have to put some thought into how your guests are actually going to - you know - USE it. That's the only complaint I have - but it provided a lousy experience both checking in and checking out, and thus taints the entire stay there. This hotel is just steps away from the main gardens/parks, from the Chicago river and from all the subway/ "L" lines - one couldn't ask for a better location. Anastasia at the front desk absolutely charmed us with her welcoming personality. We only saw her once, but she left an unforgettable impression. Sweet amazing Irvin was there pretty much every day making sure we had everything we needed during the temporary housekeeping restrictions (due to COVID19). The room looked spacious and classy with a large bathroom, the softest pillows, two TVs and a little extra rest area (Anastasia just gave us a little upgrade as it was available). I am also very grateful to this hotel's management for allowing us to easily change the dates of our trip. We had a non-refundable booking, so technically they could have refused, but in light of earlier travel restrictions they were very understanding and accommodating.

I had a good two night stay here. This hotel is located in the Loop neighborhood of Chicago less than a block from the Riverwalk. It is a bit of a hike with luggage if you are taking the Blue Line from O’Hare although it is a short walk from the station at State/Lake on the loop elevated lines. Short walks to all of the tourist attractions in downtown Chicago, including Mag Mile, Millennium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Chicago Symphony. Arrived at the hotel quite early and was able to store my luggage until I was ready to check-in. (The staff does not appear to expect tips for bags. When I offered, the person said he would take the money but would leave it at the front desk.) Everyone who worked at the front desk was really wonderful. Upon check-in, I was told everything I needed to know about the hotel, which I appreciated. I got a room on the 18th floor that faced the front of the hotel. The front faces the loop elevated train. The hotel map shows that nearly all of the hotel rooms face the front of the hotel with two suites on each floor wrapping towards the back. From the 18th floor, you could hear a light rumble but it wasn’t anything that would keep you up at night. In terms of the view, there was an ornate building across the street and I could see the Chicago River down the block. However, the view was mostly of surrounding apartment and office buildings. Great, well-designed room. Hotels know that great design can make guests forget flaws - not major here but being so close to the elevated train is usually undesirable. The room’s toilet and shower are in separate rooms, which I loved. Great shower BTW - truly rain forest with the shower head overhead. There was a sauna-like ledge in the shower that was great as a place to keep toiletries or rest legs while shaving. The room had a huge safe that was large enough to hold an under-the-airplane seat-sized bag or backpack with room to spare. Plenty of places to hang and store clothes although nothing with dark corners that looked like they could be harboring critters. The in-room fridge was stocked with snacks, water, soda, and Moët. You have to remove all that stuff to have room to store anything you may buy and want to put in the fridge. TV remote takes a little getting used to. Press the mouse button and you’ll get a cursor to move around, which makes life easier. Otherwise, the button that moved things to the left on my remote didn’t work and I was about to ask for another one. You can access your Netflix and Hulu accounts with the TV. The main channel for HBO and Showtime are also provided. Very clean and no rowdy guests during my stay. The gym was open although it’s in a fairly isolated location on the 25th floor (the hotel has 26 floors). Decent equipment although I like rowing machines, which it didn’t have. Some other minor criticisms. No USB charging ports in the room although there was one wireless pad charger provided. Whatever detergent is being use

I can't even say enough about how great the Moxy in Chicago was! We arrived way before our check-in time because we had an early flight. Since our room was not quite ready yet, they held our bags for us while we walked around the corner to get a bite to eat. They had our room ready for us at noon which I believe was 4 hours before our actual check-in time. The atmosphere was fun and casual, which was right up our alley. There are games scattered around on the tables which I thought was fun and there is a 24 hour taco joint attached to the hotel as well. I think I tried almost all of the taco choices and they were great! Kylie at the front desk is so sweet and helpful and so was Ellen, the assistant manager. The bartenders were super fun and always willing to give a suggestion on things to do. When we travel, we typically like to see what the locals enjoy doing and every suggestion they gave us was spot on!! I really wish I could remember all of the bartenders that helped us, but I remember Brandon and JJ right off the top of my head. We will definitely be back to the Moxy next time we visit Chicago!

Recently spent two nights here on a college trip with my daughter. Chose this because i was looking for a place in a neighborhood outside the tourist areas, that was cheap, and relatively well reviewed. Pros: Regular neighborhood outside the tourist areas. Relatively new. Funky sports theme. Fairly inexpensive. Parking outside at not crazy price. My teenage daughter dug ther funky vibe and cafe in the lobby. Content teenager is kinda cool. Cons: Small rooms. This is true of any place in Chicago. We had bunk full beds -- it was fine for two, but would've been crowded fsoor three or more. Housekeeping was odd. When we got in our room their were fitted sheets on the bed but the flat sheets were just folded and left at end of bed. So we had to make the beds. Second night they took away the flat sheets and put on 2nd fitted sheets. Had to call for new flat sheets and make the beds again. The housekeeping thing fits with the general "upscale youth hostel for families" vibe. If you want skyline views, this isn't your place. It's two stories bordered by an alley on one side and the El on the other. Our room faced the alley...we could hear the El but it wasn't a problem. I'd consider staying here again if I was coming back with my teens who would line the non-traditional vibe. It's clean, new and a good option outside the typical high-rise tourist haunts with overpriced parking.

I was recently staying here for a wedding. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy. It was perfect for what we needed it for and we all slept very comfortably. Best of all, I had family things come up and needed to leave a day early, I did have advanced notice but Expedia fooled me into thinking I could get the last day taken off, but they never processed my request. I know that sounds bad, but the owner stood up for me and refused to charge me for the last night since I was checking out early n before 11am. He was so helpful, and knew that if he didn’t charge me for the night, they couldn’t force me to pay. Thank you so much Heart O’ Chicago and Jawed Imtiaz. You saved me almost $100. I really appreciate it.

Beautiful property with nice rooms in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed in a kitchen studio suite with 2 queens and it was spacious and comfortable with a large separate living room/kitchen combo area. Variety of restaurants nearby. Due to pandemic, breakfast was a bagged, grab and go muffin, orange, and bottle of water. Limited parking in the hotel building but we were able to get a spot both nights.

We stayed for three nights. the room next to us had a crying baby, that wasnt too bad, but the woman that yelled and screamed the baby needed to just shut up was worse. The screaming was on and off all night, it was a very tense feeling. that was all thru the night on Friday and Saturday. we both did get up and try to sleep on the sofa, but it wasnt great. Additionally on Sunday morning the same room next had a fire alarm that started blaring at about 5 am, and continued until around 1 in the afternoon. we tried to get some rest, but we were wore out and not able to meet our timeed events. so we lost out on a few activities we paid for in advace. we did call down to the desk a few times and requested shampoo, coffe and about the alarm but there was no action taken. we were told someone would be up to scheck it out, but they never arrived, we neded up going and buying our own coffee cups and shampoo, rather than contuniung to beg. we were in town to celebrate our anniversary, but we need a do - over!

Location wise this hotel is definitely a good bang for the buck. There are two metro stops within a 5 minute walk (which cater to almost all of the "L" lines except the Blue Line from O'Hare, but that just involves one transfer), lots of fast casual eateries, Starbucks and restaurants nearby, 1 block away from Michigan Avenue (i.e. Magnificent Mile), right nearby the Riverwalk, etc., Like other hotels because of COVID there are only offering "on demand" housekeeping services during your stay and instead of a free buffet they provided Grab 'N Go breakfasts (which consisted of a muffin/danish, yogurt, granola bar, hard boiled eggs, piece of fruit and coffee/tea and a water bottle.) That said, the experience does come at a cost since this is a budget hotel. The rooms are on the small side given the location (fine for me as a solo traveler, but it will be on the tighter side for two adults). You'll hear sirens at night, there was also construction occurring next door which provided a nice "alarm" at 6:30am every weekday morning and the walls are a bit on the thin side, so this is definitely not the best choice if you are a light sleeper. Kudos to the staff, however, for their customer service. I was having issues with the Digital Key on the App and they promptly fixed it for me. I also requested a room change since the guests next door to me left a lot to be desired and the staff got me into a new room in <20 minutes. I do like the Hampton Inn brand, but I wouldn't return to this particular location since I've come to realize I need a hotel that is in a quieter area.

We selected this Fairfield Inn in Chicago for first time and were unpleasantly surprised of the lack of customer service and care. Front Desk agents were pretty much indifferent to any requests or simply ignorant...Our check in was fast, but that's all I can say - being a Gold Marriot Member, I at least expected a warm welcome and more information on the current situation: breakfast, closures, rules...nothing was provided. The Hispanic lady at the desk was doing her job, but that was all about it - nobody checked on us if the room was OK, nobody followed up, nobody provided any information whatsoever. Oh, and guess what ! The hotel was simply out of milk, bottled water and coffee in the lobby - a basic necessity for a hotel in that caliber. We traveled during this pandemic and not a single Marriott would turn us away for a coffee in the lobby. Here, the guy behind the morning shifts gave us the simple answer "We don't have coffee, it is in your room", "We don't have bottle water, we don't have milk"...My goodness, you guys who manage this hotel need to undertake classes again on JW Marriott's simple rules: "Give the customers what they want. Simply provide it, sell it to them"...Stock up that sundry shop with bottled water, milk, regular Pepsi for SALE...Make a profit, make a buck and most importantly make your customers happy. Very poorly managed in this area for sure and left a bad impression. The hotel in general was clean and the room we had on 12th floor was very clean, however the entire floor wreaked of Marijuana smell and made my daughters and wife very upset. You could sense the smell in the room as well. I thought that was a "non-smoking" hotel ? Other that all of that, the location is perfect and in very close proximity to everything. I would have given this place at least 4 or even 5 stars if the customer service showed at least some concern. We wouldn't select this hotel again in the future Chicago visits. I would stay in the Courtyard or in the Aloft right across the street.

Very close to the airport, but it takes 12 minutes to walk from the Blue Line subway station. It is a bit biased. Then the hotel has a 24-hour shuttle bus for 24 hours a day, 15 and 45 respectively. The breakfast is good and the food is very good.

My brief stay at this Marriott near Chicago O’Hare was worthy of four stars. I must commend the staff for providing top-notch service for me, from hailing a wheelchair-accessible taxi to/from airport, helping with electronic device charging, and everything in between. Special shoutouts to Greta and Rahul for their amazing service!! And thanks for implementing COVID-19 precautions! I requested a quiet room away from traffic, and while I was close to a major highway, the noise was very minimal and manageable. Cleanliness was a big priority, and I was especially appreciative of this amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Everything was essentially perfect except for the available charging outlets at the bedside lamps. Those were really the only easy places to plug in electronics, and, sadly, none sustained a charge. I called down to request help, and a masked maintenance employee came up to assist me in plugging everything in successfully. It worked out in the end, which I’m super grateful for, but it was an initial hassle that could be improved. Like many other full-service Marriotts, there’s a restaurant in the lobby; I dined there my first night. While my server was cordial and welcoming, I was not too impressed with the food I ordered; it was simply so-so. Somewhat overpriced for what I paid, but not too big of a deal. Just want to let my readers know in advance, so as to inform others’ decisions the best way possible. And seriously, though—despite the non-operational electrical outlets and average restaurant food, my stay was super positive and will return whenever I need an airport hotel. Four stars stands today, and I hope to bump that to five when I visit in the future. Thanks for a great experience!!

2 night stay in a basic double-double room, expectations surpassed. Appears freshly upgraded- super clean, bright & comfortable. Beds just the right blend of softness with good support. Room on the smaller side but not cramped. Mini fridge & espresso machine in room. Excellent location - within walking distance to many points of interest (Millenium Park, Art Museums, Museum Campus, shopping & good dining options) and affordable. There is a park next to the hotel, my room is on the side, and I can see a bit of Lake Michigan. The hotel is old, but the brush is completely white, and it is still very warm. The bathrooms are all new. There is a subway track next to it, with a slight sound, but I think it is much better than the one that depends on the track. There are several convenience stores and restaurants around. You can walk to the river, Millennium Park and the Art Museum, but the guide said that it is best not to come out after 8pm. There are also several theaters next to it. Lived two days before the Chicago Marathon and it was so expensive.

The Willows hotel in Chicago is an excellent option for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable yet safe and quiet hotel room. Staff practiced excellent social distancing and takes safety seriously. Great location there’s so much to check out mainly restaurants and small shops right outside the hotel! Another great plus is you really don’t need a car since access to the cta is a breeze. Shout out to Romario (front desk)for really setting the foundation to this great trip. The second we walked in we were greeted with a smile and felt welcomed, he really did a great job making check in comfortable, easy and quick. Unfortunately at this day and age it’s hard to go to an establishment and receive even decent customer service especially if you’re younger and of a minority group. Marisol and Carlos also deserve a shoutout for outstanding room service. After speaking with the gm at this hotel (Juan) who’s extremely respectful and polite I can see that he really takes pride in his hotel and staff all with great reason. I’m very satisfied with this experience, I will be passing the word along with friends and family!

Spending in Chicago in February 2020, [Line] The hotel is located in the center of the city center, in the prime location of S Michigan ave, directly facing Grant Park and directly facing Lake Michigan, the transportation is extremely convenient. The Lobby, the second floor, and the eighth floor are all public spaces. I live in a lake view room. The view is fine and exquisite. The interior layout of the room is square. The sound insulation between the room and the next room is barely good. Anyway, everyone knows that you should not laugh and shout at the hotel. [Eat] Exit the hotel's main entrance, turn right (go south) two blocks, and have Yolk brunch From 6:00 to 15:00, the crowds of people lining up to eat are heard. Regarding eating, I don't need to repeat it here. Everyone is a travel expert. [Education] Various museums, symphony concert halls, and libraries are all nearby. Even if your stay is short, at least go out the door and turn left (go north), buy a ticket and enter the Art Institute of Chicago once [Le] The hotel is located in the Loop area of the city center. You can walk around the Chicago Futures Exchange building and take photos. Just a few steps to Willis Tower, you can go up to the 103rd floor and stand at Sky Deck to feel the glass window protruding from the wall of the building. The foot is completely transparent. (Tempered glass, steel frame support). Chicago is a famous wind city, and the power of high winds can be felt more at high altitude. To sum it up, choose Hilton Chicago and you won't regret it or be bored.

The city is coming back, and so is this facility. The hotel is not able to offer its usual food and beverage service. The lounge was available with limited service and guests are encouraged to bring their own food, snacks ( the lounge staff is very accommodating in offering you service ware) or utilizing a food delivery service Butler Menu. The breakfast menu I received had a QR code which gave you $10 off your order, which I utilized. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, which arrived hot, a plain croissant, chocolate croissant, fruit cup (which had pomegranate- I thought a nice touch) , small orange juice. All were at the least, more than adequate. I was impressed with the inclusion of condiments: bottles of Tabasco and ketchup. If you want to use the pool, you have to reserve it - do this early, there is a $20 cleaning fee. I reserved the pool, however, missed my opportunity as we returned from dinner late. Start planning your dining options early. Restaurants are still in the process of re-opening. The staff is very approachable and happy to be of assistance.

Booked this hotel for the weekend. The only saving grace about this hotel is the front staff. - double bed rooms are extremely small. Which is fine, we were only in the room to sleep. There is a microwave and a fridge. - you can hear everything! Surprisingly you can hear the people walking above you. Let’s say I got literally no sleep! - domestic abuse on our floor.. actually right next door. Now this isn’t exactly the hotels fault. However! The front office informed my husband and I that the couple had been there before using a different name and caused a lot of trouble. 1. Hotel knew who they were and still allowed them to check in. 2. Hotel gave me so much grief checking in because I recently got married and my drivers license and name on account was not the same. - location is decent. About 1 mile walking distance to restaurants Overall I would probably not book here again.

Myself and a friend took a weekend trip to Chicago. We had always wanted to go and try out a deep dish pizza. Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel was a great choice of hotel. We ended up getting a room with a balcony and the views were awesome. The location was great too, so many things were in walking distance, including a CVS (always handy), restaurants, and even Millennium Park. The pool was awesome too! They had cabanas around the pool area which was awesome to be able to get out of the sun during the summer heat and also have our own space. The staff was welcoming and helpful on our mission for a deep dish!!
