Customer service was good, people at the front desk were really nice. Easy check in, however I had booked a small double room and I was given a super single very small room. I was told that was the room I booked but I did immense research to see which room was best and looked good so I know what I booked. It specifically said the room had a window but this small room didn’t and I was told some of these rooms have windows and some don’t, so please call ahead or something. I specifically requested it when booking too. There was nothing they could do but I kept insisting that I needed a window and this is what I had booked. After a bit they said we’ll give you a different room a bigger one, a large double to be specific, but said it is near the train station. No problem, I thought! Room was very nice and big, I absolutely loved it! But, it looked like the room I had booked in the first place, why make it seem like you’re doing me a favour by giving me a big room? Also oh god I had the worst sleep of my life! The room was so nice but the trains at night were so unbelievably loud! Everything was great but the trains! That’s the only downside really. Would love to stay again because it didn’t feel like a cramped hotel room more like an apartment which was very nice, but the train noise isn’t worth it unless you can get a room with a window away from the trains then yes go for it!!

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at CitizenM in shoreditch. It was an ideal location for working at Moorfields eye hospital. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I liked the quirky decorations in the check in/restaurant area. The room was very clean, bed was comfy and the view was fab. There are a couple of downsides. I went to the ironing room and really struggled. There is a huge new fangled iron with absolutely no instructions. So I had to walk back to my room to grab my phone to google the instructions. Thankfully Phillips have a quick start guide on their website. It would be ideal to actually have this available in the ironing room for guests. The lighting in the ironing room isn't great, I did try and twist the board round so I could actually see what I was doing. I really feel this could be improved. As someone who works with people with visual impairments, I couldn't help but notice how bad this hotel would be if you had any eye sight problem. The corridor and main hallway lighting is spotlights and very dim. I found it very difficult myself to find the room numbers on the doors. A visually impaired person would have no chance. In the room you have an ipad that controls everything. This worked well for the lights and blinds. The tv was intermittently working. But again, a visually impaired person would not be able to operate this and even the switches for the lights and blinds have teeny tiny writing on. So it would be very tricky. The braille on the lift buttons is covered by plastic sheeting. I appreciate this is probably a covid hygiene measure, but it renders it impossible to read through it. You also need your room card to make the lift go further than the check in on floor 1. There is no way a visually impaired person would see this. It's a nice hotel, and was pleasure to stay at. However, if you are visually impaired then please go somewhere more accessible.

We had a really lovely stay at the Hart Shoreditch. Inside is lovely and modern, really nice decor. You can't fault it at all. The service you receive at reception and from all the staff is fantastic. The only thing that let it down for us is the fact we paid extra to stay in the superior corner room so that we could get a room with a bath, however when we ran the bath it was warm, not hot. So you could not enjoy the bath as it was cold within 5 minutes and felt like getting into a lukewarm bath. We rung reception and a maintenance man came to check it, and agreed it was not hot. After some back and forth for over an hour, he came back with 2 other men and checked the water again, and said it was now a bit warmer however they could not make it hot as they had to adhere to health and safety regulations. I have stayed in many different hotels, and the best bit is always having a hot bath. I have never stayed somewhere and been told you can't have a hot bath because it's against health and safety. It was really a shame as we paid more for this room for the purpose of the bath, yet didn't even get to enjoy one. I do wonder if they just had problems with getting that bath to have hot water and gave that excuse, as it is bizarre to say that yet I've stayed in many nice hotels where the water gets hot. The positive was the shower got hot, and everything else about the stay was perfect. We would definitely go back, just not with the hopes of a bath that's all.

From reading the internet The Curtain Hotel seems like the quintessential hip and happening London hotel where you need to be. Upon arrival you would still aggree with your online research: a very well taken care off lobby, stylish furniture, fresh fruits and great receptionists. However, fast foreword to the rooms, in particular the “suite,” where one pays a gross amount of atleast 600 pounds p.n for (which is close to 700 euro): the excitement quickly fades. As soon as you walk into the room.. you are striken by a very odd layout and cramped space. We kindly asked for another room, and luckily got one without a struggle. Half the price (but still 350 pounds) for the exact same quality room just without a shared balcony with other suites. Here are a few more complaints we had about the room(s): the showers didn’t get properly hot, mostl likely due to regulations, but still: after a long flight and arriving to a colder climate I just care for a hot shower, not a medium luke warm one. The robes are not worth mentioning (tin as tissue) and cheap. They place the towels on the handicap pole in the toilet.. Very unhygienic if you ask me. Room service was quite alright- but house keeping was terrible. They either enter (without knocking) on a Saturday morning at 9 a clock and then proceed at 9.30 again -or not come at all. We came back from multiple long days out to a still unmade chamber. To make matters worse, when asked, on the daily (this happened almost all 5 nights) we would be asked to wait in the hotel lobby: one day we literally got drenched as the pipes of the hotel lobby broke and basically turned the lobby into a swimming pool. In all it was not a necessarily “relaxing” stay at a hotel, where when you pay 350 pounds per night for (which is close to 400 euros per night.) as a conpensation they offered us a drink..... it goes on.. the room we got had no privacy whatsoever, if you decide to open the curtains you basically exposed to the residential building 3 meters infront of the rooms. So we had to keep them close most of the time. Pretty hotel, okay loc, nice breakfast and reception, but not necessarily worth the money.

Me and the girls had a lovely stay in London. It rained but we had a bit of sun at least. We found a really cool bar called old Street records about a five minute walk away. The hotel was really clean and the manager Gary and his team were very friendly. His knowledge of London was crazy even telling us what exit numbers at tube stations. Literally anything was no trouble and we had a few high maintenance people, yet his staff tackled everything. Gary we are sorry for the endless milk requests! The hotel is just a few minutes from some excellent clubs and bars and like others that have stayed here we couldn't fault the service - imagine the shock when the housekeepers are asking how we are. Sadly it was raining and cold so we didn't see too much of the city but we found a really cool bagel shop on a long road of Indian restaurants. I think the road is something like brick lane and definitely worth getting lost in London.

Check in at noon, but the room was not packed, and the luggage was stored in the hotel, and it was guaranteed that the luggage would be delivered to the room. When returning to the hotel at night, the luggage was not delivered to the room, the room was not packed, and the cleaning staff was still cleaning inside. I went to the front desk to request a room change. The front desk attitude was extremely bad, and I reluctantly changed the room. There was no news of the luggage here. Go down to the concierge and ask where the luggage is. The concierge repeatedly emphasized that it was delivered to the room. No luggage was found after returning to the room. When they asked the luggage for the third time, they were reluctant to look for it in the back. No apology given. Service attitude and efficiency are very poor, and communication between departments is lacking. The room was quite modest and there were many uncleaned rooms in the hallway to deliver meals.

I chose this place to walk to the British Museum. The most basic room type may be set. The room is the size of an express hotel, but the facilities are OK and the bedding is comfortable. The hotel is extremely noisy. There are people who drink in the lobby from morning to night. I am also a person who likes to pub, but the privacy of the hotel is not satisfactory. What about the service, the reception and room service are good and very welcoming. The breakfast restaurant didn't order for half an hour. The waiter who ordered the order didn't place the order. A handsome man who seemed to be a manager quickly got the meal after getting it. It also waived the cost and gave a good comment. ps, breakfast is really hard to eat, it is the most unpleasant eggs Benedict I have ever eaten ...

My wife and I have stayed here three times now, it's the only place we'll stay when visiting London. Rooms are amazing and very stylish, beds are so comfortable and the decor not just in the rooms but throughout the hotel is very on-trend. Staff are also super helpful and lovely, they helped with our requests and enquiries before, during and after our visit. Location is also perfect - you can pretty much get anywhere worth going to in London from Shoreditch. Although the area itself (Shoreditch) has become much more gentrified over the years, the hotel still makes coming here a really worthwhile exercise

Perfect!!! In a nutshell. My wife and I have been fortunate to have stayed in some lovely hotels both in London and worldwide and the Wellesley is one of those gems. The staff are courteous, extremely professional very friendly and meticulous in the finer details even presenting my wife with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The building is beautiful, spotlessly clean and just gorgeous. We were lucky to receive a room upgrade looking across Hyde Park wow it didn't disappoint and for any cigar smokers, take a visit to the biggest humidor in Europe, it's breathtaking! Many thanks to everyone at The Wellesley, we will be back.

As I sit here in the reception area having a satsuma for breakfast, all I fancied from the choice of breakfast goodies served on the continental breakfast bar (read side table). I am surrounded by a pathetic example of the genus 'Tourists Poorer" What makes it worse for me is that actually chose to stay here A friend and I are staying in Islington for three nights on our annual pilgrimage to the bars, eateries and tourist spots of the capital and as our normal place to stay, the Hilton in Islington were charging twice the normal rate we had decided on a cheaper option. I have fallen for the trick of actually believing the images of the smart bedrooms and booked. I can't fault the price, just over £300 for three nights but I felt really cheated when I saw the pokey ground room with added steel prison like bars on the windows just to make any ex-con feel at home. The bathroom, so small you actually could not bend over in to dry oneself. Although, the management did help out here by providing towels of the same proportion to the bathroom. They also helped by having towels with holes in to make up for the lack of air conditioning. Basically, I would not be dragged here again and if ever I book it of my own volition I should be committed. Good point, a decent TV. Bad point, a mattress from Pentenville prison, possibly bought at the same time as the bars on the windows.

On arrival, we were informed that one of the apartments we had booked had an issue. They showed us around the other available apartments and let us decide what worked best for the family. The apartments we were offered were superb and even better than that which we booked, making the stay very comfortable for a family of 4. My parents stayed in a separate apartment. The concierge was readily available and able to help when we needed it. The apartments were cleaned throughout our stay with fresh towels provided. There is a well-equipped gym in the basement. All amenities were provided included shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash. The kitchen was fully equipped with a filtered water system, Nespresso machine, etc, and hand sanitizer was provided. Televisions throughout the apartment had all channels, Netflix, and app services. Free wifi, a taxi call button, and books/brochures of where to go in London. I have two young children and they were also able to offer a high chair and stairgate, so everything felt very safe and easy. The location was superb with Hyde Park directly opposite and a short walk to Kensington High Street, Harrods, Chelsea, etc. Excellent service and we will definitely be back for another London staycation in the future. Thank you very much.

First off I enjoyed my stay here and would probably stay here again,as it's a great location, however this is not the place that will suit everyone. If you like partying and sleeping in crowded dorms ,this is the spot for you ,however be warned its damned noisey till 2am, on weekends at least ,I stayed on the top floor at the end of a hall so no one was passing my door at night ,so it was quite in that respect.the window was overlooking the alley way which was packed with noisey party people drinking smoking and generally letting rip on the weekend. The bunk beds were fine and the room was clean and tidy if a tad spartan. I feel there are not enough toilets and showers available for the morning rush as everyone gets ready to go out and explore. I liked the beer in the bar and the breakfast was pleasantly filling ,I would reccomend you make your self a toasted cheese ham and tomato sandwich or two ,this will keep you going all day if needs be . Some people might find the winding stairs a bit hard going after a night on the booze and the top bunks are a tad tricky too even if sober. The storage cages are a good idea but I felt a little shelf or basket might be handy for the top bunk to store water bottles and personal items. Hope you found this useful

Convenient transportation, very clean, consistent with the picture of the goods, nearby such a row of low-rise rooms, a number of hotels together on the road. Soundproof in general, live on the third floor can clearly hear the car downstairs and the door next door, but this time the residents are consciously kept quiet, can hear the weak laughter in the compartment. The household is basically a foreigner, English service. Single rooms are cost effective, small and beautiful for single travel. There is a wardrobe, clothes rack, full-length mirror, dressing table chair (mirror), heating, bathroom without bathtub, transparent shower, large towels, small towels, cups, body wash (single bag). Breakfast is on the first floor, from 7:30 to 9:00, there is no choice of meals, basic models, full of food, less than two people need to fight table.

I chose this hotel due to the very reasonable price and the proximity to the tube (Northern Line, Hampstead station, less than 5 minutes walk). Before arrival, I was communicating with Lorenzo and asking for an early check in. He was up front that it could not be guaranteed but it looked likely, and when I arrived early as planned, he was waiting for me. He kindly carried my suitcase up to the room (no elevator here) and showed me around including how to enter the building late at night, where breakfast is, etc. I had a standard double room which was fine for me traveling alone, but be aware it is very small. I think for a couple you might be better off with one of the larger rooms. The bed was comfortable and there was also a desk with a makeup mirror (loved this), a small wardrobe, kettle with tea/ coffee, 2 nightstands, and a luggage rack. There was no safe for valuables. My room faced the interior and while I had no issues with street noise, I always heard the people in the room next to me. I think the older building just has thin walls. Regardless I was able to sleep well, and there were ear plugs provided in case. I had not found any pictures of the bathroom ahead of time but was pleasantly surprised how modern it was. There was a decent sized stall shower (though water pressure was not great) and even a towel warmer. The towels were large and plush. Breakfast is included and consists of cereal, yogurt, breads, hard boiled eggs, ham, and cheese. And the best part, the amazing cappuccino! I only had breakfast there once, as I mostly had to rush to business meetings, but I got a cappuccino to go every day which Lorenzo was more than happy to provide. The neighborhood is absolutely charming, with tons of shops and restaurants at your doorstep. And as mentioned in the title of my review, the staff is just so incredibly friendly, warm, and willing to help. I can't imagine getting better service. Thanks to Lorenzo and everyone for a great stay!

This hotel is one of the branded hotels of SMART HOSTELS in London, UK. Great location in the heart of London, 1 minute from Bayswater subway station, 3 minutes from Queensway underground station, and a musical in the West End of London. It feels more relaxing... Breakfast is served, breakfast is small, but it feels nutritious Milk and honey are available. I am booking a ten-person room; I am worried that people will be noisy and sleep well; the result is like living in a room independently. The lights are off at ten o'clock in the evening. Everyone is very conscious; during the day, the room is very quiet; the hostel room Quiet slogans are attached to the door and bed. My room does not have a bathroom, but there are a lot of public baths, basically no waiting, public baths are also relatively clean. The floor is a bit high, I live on the fourth floor, climbing the stairs is a little hard; but go out, what is this bitter! The people who live in the hostel are a little miscellaneous, and the valuables must be kept safe. Don't take it lightly; I have lost a pair of high-quality velvet trousers in this host because of the intention. The above comments are for reference only and I wish you a pleasant trip!

I stayed in a twin room with breakfast, the room was not large, but it was not too crowded for two people, and there was some space for luggage, and it was acceptable in such a good location. Only 5 minutes away from Kensington Park, walk through the park to the three major museums such as the Natural History Museum and walk for about half an hour, walk to Paddington Railway Station for 10 minutes, there are many buses and subway stations nearby, and go to various popular Attractions are basically within half an hour. Breakfast was simple ham and cheese slices and toast with coffee tea and fruit milk, not ample but full. If it is a bed in a multi-bed room, you have to eat in another place. I don't know what the quality is. There is no hair dryer in the room, which can be borrowed from the front desk.

Saw a tip to park here for Wembley stadium and well worth doing. £25 for stadium events which I think was more than the official parking but getting a space and getting out again couldnt have been easier. Only thing I would recommend is for parker's to be issued a ticket so they have peace of mind. As the chap who took the money could have been anyone to us and wasnt identified as a member of the hotel. Assisted to a space, but getting away was the plus point, no queues and straight out onto a side road which got us away in good time.

The event staff were AMAZING. Went above and beyond before, during and after the event. Great customer service, attention to detail and responsiveness. The reception staff seemed disinterested and to not like each other, sniping at each other visibly. The rooms were great, spacious, well kept, good bathroom. For a huge hotel that seemed relatively quiet we were placed SUPER far away. 2 separate lifts and about 500 metres walk at least to our rooms, doesn't seem far but trust me it is. Breakfast was fantastic. Worth paying for in your room rate and not on the day however. Really good quality, and variety. Based on this price, the hotel is very good, the room is not small, the cleaning is very clean every day, there is a kettle, hair dryer, the front desk is very warm, when we went, Shakespeare had no room, so arranged in the next door of dolphin, both are a family The breakfast is Western-style. There are bread bacon and scrambled egg cheese. You can sandwich yourself. There are butter and jam on the table, as well as oatmeal, cake, rice pudding (somewhat sweet), and some canned fruits, no fresh fruit, cold drinks. There is water orange juice milk, hot drinks have hot cocoa, hot water, tea, coffee, etc. Oatmeal with milk soaked if you feel ice, add some hot water, it will dilute a little milky taste but okay. The location is right next to Paddington Station, there is a Burger King McDonald's and a convenience store nearby, it is convenient to travel. The only point of deduction may be that the restaurant service is not too warm, standing at the door of the kitchen is always ready to collect the dishes you have finished.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the service is very bad! First of all, two people with a 4-year-old child can not stay in the so-called super-bed type, the hotel will let you upgrade, each £ 220 per day, and tell you that you can send two breakfasts to you, you have agreed, At 12 o'clock in the afternoon, your child is already asleep, the hotel will not give you the room right away, let you wait until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, you can tell the hotel to discuss the situation, if you have no upgraded room type, you can give me The original room type, the hotel told you that you can not stay, set the two to stay, bring the child is three people, must upgrade, or can not live three people, I said, well, please give me a room Booked room type, my husband can't live, can you always? The front desk went to the back to find the manager. The manager immediately said that the room with a price of 220 pounds can be given to you in 15 minutes. I further confirmed that I originally booked a room of 33 square meters. If you add 229 pounds, it must be a room of 52 square meters, and send breakfast for 3 people. The front desk confirms that there is no problem. Finally, the check-out still charges for one day's breakfast. Finally, After a theory, I returned. Having said that, the service is good, everyone has the final say, in short, I will not go to live again, too much trouble, this service is too cumbersome! After staying for two days, we went to Rosewood, which was cheaper, better service, and uniquely located. It also gave children extra beds for free. In short, this hotel is too proud, no human touch, find ways to let you add money to upgrade! Upgrade does not provide good service! Never go to live again, everyone should be cautious! However, the couple still recommended to live, the room is more modern, the floor is very comfortable!

It is suitable for a poor person like me to travel poorly. If the economic conditions are better, it is not recommended to live. After all, all kinds of environments are not good, especially when I sleep at night I wear headphones, I can still fall asleep, and I have high requirements for sleep. Don’t think about it. There are many people, many of them are poor people live or beggars, and many Indians and Arabs speak loudly and loudly. Every day in the dining area, you can see them eating disgusting things they made. , And many of them eat in a common pot! Incredible! Breakfast is 2 pounds per person. It is a variety of whole grains, bread slices and milk, water, and coffee, as well as strawberry jam, chocolate jam and butter. The room should not be able to add an extra bed. Because of its size, management should also have minor problems. One day, someone who doesn't know sleeps in my bed. I asked the security and the front desk to help solve it. The storage cabinet outside is 3 pounds. There is no charge when you live, and you will be charged after you leave the store. There is no parking lot, not suitable for bringing children, the location is super good! There are everything nearby, supermarkets, restaurants, bars. Reading other reviews, I feel that people often have unrealistic expectations. Went with my son on Sunday eve. Lovely scotch egg, bread with delicious hummus and good squid. We were having a lovely night. My son had pork belly which was good. I had beef. Promised pink but delivered shoe leather and hard, dark - overdone. Lazy chef in the kitchen serving me beef from the lunch service reheated and overdone. I’ve seen it but didn’t believe they still do it. Embarrassing: if I ran that kitchen I’d care. Asked how the meal was like so many good restaurants. I fed back that the beef was shoe leather and awful. Response? None. Nothing. Why bother? I paid the full bill because having such a nice time with my son didn’t want to ruin it. My advice. Have the pizza so you don’t trouble a lazy chef with staff who are trained to ask but couldn’t care less.

Heathrow Airport is only 2.8 pounds by direct subway to Hammersmith, and the Hammersmith & city line is particularly convenient to Paddington Railway Station and Baker Street. The matching sofa can be opened as a bed, and children under 16 stay and eat breakfast for free, which is great! Breakfast is very rich, full breakfast, you can eat anything at noon, breakfast starts at 6:30, for those who rushed to the train early to eat breakfast before leaving. After 7:30 a lot of people eat breakfast, but there are a lot of seats, do not feel particularly crowded, and breakfast supply can keep up. Fruit yogurt has all kinds of meat sausages. The decoration is small and fresh, the public areas are great, and there is no cost to store luggage. The disadvantage is that the shower is standing in the bathtub, which is a bit cramped, and the bath water is not particularly large. It is very convenient to eat around, there are many places to eat in Hammersmith Station, supermarkets are cheap, and there are many restaurants and bars on the Hammersmith city line exit.

Earls Court
We wanted somewhere chic but inexpensive to stay for a few days in London. The Rockwell was a great choice - lovely large room with its own, private terrace and only a five minute walk to Earl's Court rube station. The restaurant was closed whilst we were there due to the coronavirus but we were able to sit outside in a secluded terrace area and enjoy a few drinks. Roxana at reception was really friendly and so helpful. We'll definitely return.

Marylebone
Hotel location is especially good! Easy to travel, the subway to King's Cross Railway Station and Paddington Railway Station are very convenient! Walking to Oxford Street and Regent Street are not far away! The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are complete, clean and hygienic, the breakfast is not much variety, the taste is good, can eat! The hotel is surrounded by small streets, no noisy, not far from walking, you can also drink and eat on the street! Really feel convenient, go live next time!
