The hotel has convenient transportation, about 1 km away from Hoan Kiem Lake, night market and 36th Street. The room is relatively small, but very clean and has good sound insulation. When the window is closed, the sound of motorcycles on the street cannot be heard, but the sound of the door closing in the next room is very clear. The rice noodles and eggs for breakfast need to be ordered separately, they taste better than those at street stalls. The service staff are very enthusiastic, and there is a beautiful woman at the front desk who can speak a little Chinese.

I was here with my family for about a week, we were sceptical at first as this is a new establishment. But the moment we arrived at their lobby the staffs proved that we have made a worthy decision. Especially Anne from management, she was very welcoming and informative which helped start a great beginning to our holiday in Hanoi. Rooms are absolutely clean and well organised. Furthermore internet connection was impressive, fast and smooth, only mentioning this as it has been quite a problem with our stay at many hotels in the past. This place is located right in the center of everything, walking distance to Old Quarter, Ho Guom lake, eating streets, markets, etc. Heaps more positive things about this hotel that you should come and experience for yourself. Definitely will be staying here again the next time I’m in Hanoi. Thank you Grand Cititel team for looking after us!

There are a total of forty-seven hotel rooms. Designer Bill Bensley has integrated opera elements into every detail of the hotel. The corner of the performance area on the first floor separates the open bar from the stage, and the backstage is an all-day restaurant. The dazzling grid ceiling and opera stage scenery, rehearsal stage, dressing room, retro dresses, and dozens of old objects from the French colonial period are all available. Each floor has its own theme of artists, designers, musicians, etc., and even each room has masters of corresponding themes and dramatic scenes of different styles. Overall, it is a medium-sized hotel. It is stunning at first glance. The service details are in line with the price. The selection of spare parts is also in large bottles, which is quite satisfactory. The non-alcoholic mini bar is free and refilled every day. The living room has free afternoon tea, free wine of all kinds in the evening, and all-inclusive snacks. It is worth it from a cost-effective perspective. The surrounding area is an absolutely rich area with various luxury shops. There is a night-time ceremony in the evening. After turning down the bed, It comes with an eye mask and a small gift, and the data cable will be buckled with a leather buckle for you, and the small details are still full. Capella Hanoi's glorious Koki Japanese food on the B1 floor this year received 1 star. It has only 14 seats and offers a set similar to Omekase. The price is relatively expensive (basic evening set is 5,500,000/person and 8,500,000/person). Reservations can be made by email in advance on February 14 Dinner arrived at 6:30 and it was almost full. The menu is fixed and there are not many choices, but the products are very good. The basic set meal we chose, the first is two kinds of clam teppanyaki, the second is the sea shrimp teppanyaki with vanilla sauce, the third is the signature Yaeyama beef, the beef nose certification is really speechless, the fourth is 20 minutes to make Koki's signature garlic chicken fried rice, and the final dessert was eaten in the lounge next to it. It was a combination of matcha ice cream daifuku and Japanese hot donuts. In the end, we collected RMB 20 million for champagne and drinking water alone. Thanks to the Japanese uncle chef, he was really handsome. Breakfast at Capella Hanoi is the all-day dining restaurant Backstage next to the lobby bar on the first floor. The Backstage restaurant restores the elements of the opera house to the greatest extent, creating a transparent and gorgeous golden hall, decorated with opera costumes, the flowers are yellow phalaenopsis, and the menu is “Diva’s menu”. Breakfast at Capella never disappoints, almost all are a la carte, and the a la carte menu is simply dazzling. The first page is the Vietnamese specialty Pho, which was rated as the top three Pho food in Hanoi by our guide. There are other traditional delicacies such as baguette sandwiches. In terms of Western style, the breakfast includes fresh oysters imported from France and smoked salmon waffles, which are full of sincerity. The various eggs, especially the eggs Benedict, are superbly made, and the crepes and waffles are also delicious. The chef is well-known in Vietnam. He can already eat very nice food in the hotel without leaving home. This trip has been very satisfying.

The room was booked and paid at the Family Transit Hotel. The room put us in shock, where the hotel is located too. And we moved to the Dragon Airport Hotel, regardless of the money already spent. Compared to the previous one, it was a super place to stay, although the noise of the track gave you information. Thanks to hotel staff for helping to transport things from a previously booked Family Transit Hotel. In the Dragon Hotel... clean. You feel safe. Bed is comfortable. I don't want to say that good breakfast, but there is no place to eat nearby. In general, in terms of food and in the rest of Hanay much poorer than Hoshimin. Near the airport we have cost a lot of hotels because of the situation. And this seemed to us the best option. If you are a tourist with claims, there is not one hotel near the airport that will not suit you.

The hotel went above and beyond to help us resolve our problems. Special thanks to Plum, who was so nice and friendly and was so professional and efficient to resolve issues for us. Hotel has plenty of restaurants and street food everywhere and is very near the lake. Beautiful pool and sky bar too.Everyone was very friendly and helpful, from the bellboys to the front desk staff. They even gifted my mom who has a bad knee a herbal compress from the spa. Small details and kind gestures made our stay here so special. 5 stars to the peridot team!

The location of the hotel is okay, and the service attitude is okay, but I think it's a bit strange. My colleague arrived at the hotel first and did not provide BOOKING and passport information. The front desk directly called her name and gave her the room card. After we checked in for one night, when we returned to the hotel the next night, the boy at the front desk asked us to have our passports copied. Before having breakfast, I gave my room card to the man at the front desk to check out, and he said it was OK. I said I had ordered laundry service, and he told me to have breakfast first and do the accounting later. Then after breakfast, I went to the front desk, and he told me again. I said, are you sure you don’t have to pay? What did he say to pay? I asked about the money for washing clothes, and he said wait, and then after confirming it again and again, someone took the bill. The hotel is okay overall, but I feel that there are some problems with the internal management. If I am not an honest person, and the front desk told me twice that it was okay, if I did not ask for the cleaning bill any time, then they would not receive the money. . I also asked what to do in that situation? The front desk told me that it was their front desk and customer service responsibility. It would be better if I feel that internal management and training need to be strengthened. The breakfast is average and can be enough to fill you up. It is not particularly rich or not rich. But the taste of the powder is a bit strange and not very delicious. It was okay when I checked in for the first time, but this time it was obviously not as delicious as before. The texture of the noodles and the taste of the soup were both wrong. Hope it improves.

A great hotel in the Old Quarter and very convenient for sightseeing in Hanoi. Situated near beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and its lovely gardens, trees and temples. Very reasonable rates- value for money. The rooms are comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. Clean towels and water ere delivered daily. The breakfast buffet was good and you could also order from the breakfast menu so there was lots of choice. The staff make this hotel. David the manager is very welcoming and extremely helpful as is his staff, particularly Henry and Ian. Nothing was too much trouble. David booked our sightseeing trips to Ninh Binh, Halong Bay and Sapa for us - all were excellent and at very good prices. Pick ups from the hotel were organized by the staff so that made organising transoport easy. The hotel has Vietnam SIM cards for your mobile, and they also provide a currency exchange. We couldn't have been happier as it made organization easy and we had a smooth, trouble free, comfortable and a very happy stay at the Rising Dragon Legend Hotel. Thank you David, Henry, Ian and the rest of the staff. We'll return. Peter and Vicki, Australia.

The staff in this hotel were excellent! From welcoming us with some welcome drinks and fruit, to politely going through our booking details with us (as there was a mix up about payment) and even looking after our bags for a night (as we spent one evening in a village a little way out from Hanoi and returned to the hotel the day after). Of course the rooms, cleanliness and breakfast were also fantastic - and the only reason for rating the location as a 4 is owing to the fact that as it is centrally located in the Old Town, it can get quite noisy at night. In fairness, the hotel accomodated this by ensuring guests were placed in rooms further away from the noisy street (and with double windows), but it is something to bear in mind. We didnt mind of course - you cant expect to be in the midst of it all, and at the same time expect pure silence!

Tony, Chuong, Annie really went the extra mile to make my stay perfect. Tony was very proactive always inquiring if everything is ok and making suggestions, if better options were available, that I did not think of. Chuong helped me restoring my by mistake deleted pictures from the cameras SD card once I came back from SaPa - thank you so much! Without you I would have not been able to use the camera - or I‘d have to buy a new SD card. Annie was great in explaining the differences in the tours, asking what I expect and was also very honest when telling me that the 6 hour tour is the standard one day tour everyone takes and is hence a little more crowded. The location of the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Hoan Kiem Lake and the Opera (there is the money exchange offering great rates - Quoc Trinh Gold Shop - right around the corner) as well as to the train street. The train station, if you‘re going to SaPa by train is approximately a 15 minutes walk. The rooms (as I stayed there twice, I got to use two different rooms) are very clean, cleaned daily and have really comfortable beds. Really loved staying there and will be for sure staying there again, if coming back to Hanoi.

Generally didn’t seem very clean, I found someone else’s hair tie on the bedside table and glitter in the bathroom. The sheets smelt very perfumed which made it seem like they hadn’t been cleaned and smelt of the previous person who slept in them. Staff were friendly but a bit pushy trying to sell spa treatments and despite putting do not disturb on the door we were awoken with consistent knocking and the phone ringing by housekeeping trying to get in. I stayed in Hanoi for a few days at this Brilliant Hotel and Spa, it was incredible! The location is perfect; it's right in the middle of the old town, it is convenient to get anywhere in the city and I was at the heart of everything I wanted to see. I had family staying across the street in another hotel, and while theirs was more expensive, the Brilliant Hotel was much better. The service from the lobbyists was friendly, helpful, and insightful -- not at all looking to scam or take money from me (unlike other locations I visited during my trip, or even from my family's experience). They immediately offered me a physical map of great places to travel in the area, and communicated with me in a personal and friendly manner. I told them what I was interested in seeing, they helped highlight it on the map. Google maps isn't the best option in Vietnam, and having a physical map actually helped 'save' me from being lost more than once on my trip. I thought that was the end of that, but at night they left a personal card on my door, always remembered my name as I walked in and out, and even remembered where I went and what I said about it, making conversation whenever I wanted, even at breakfast! The breakfast was quite good, besides the normal food they can cook you omelets, pho, pancakes, etc. The service here is unlike anywhere else I've stayed, the lobbyists Fiona and Lucy in particular were extremely friendly, approachable, understanding, and helpful. 10/10 I recommend this hotel, and I definitely will be going back here when I travel through Hanoi again!

The rooms we were initially provided were a haven of comfort, showcasing pristine hygiene, especially in the bathrooms, which is always a big tick. The jewel in the crown was undoubtedly the staff whose proficiency in English was matched only by their boundless kindness. Their welcoming smiles immediately dissolved any travel-weary tension, making our interactions with them utterly delightful. Our adventure beckoned us to Sapa for a few days, but we found ourselves looking for the comforting cocoon of Hanoi Stella. Without a second thought, we booked it again for our final night in the city. To our sheer joy, we were upgraded to a family room—a spacious sanctuary that made us wish we had booked it every day of our stay. The room was a cornucopia of comfort, boasting ample space, heavenly beds, and a top-notch air conditioning system ensuring a cool retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The reception was a redux of our initial warm welcome, greeting us with tea, making our return feel like a homecoming. Their attentiveness added a golden touch to our already stellar experience.

To be honest, didn't stay at this hotel. This hotel is behind the White Horse Temple and there should be two stores. At the front desk of the hotel, my sister could n’t speak Chinese and communicated in English. Then she told us that the hotel circuit was broken. We changed to another shop, called TU linh palace hostel. Our room was small. But my uncle who came to meet us spoke Chinese and experienced the difficult communication in English. I felt kind to this uncle instantly. At that time, we did not exchange enough Vietnamese dongs. We exchanged 3,000 renminbi dongs with our uncle. Then I asked my uncle to buy a 22-dollar ticket to Da Nang for us. This is more pit, but as the first stop abroad, Hanoi can still accept it! !! In the end, Hanoi, as the capital of Vietnam, has more Westerners, less hotels in Chinese, and higher consumption. The hotel is like that, anyway, I didn't live in this hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights before my trip to Sapa and for another night on my return. On both occasions I was allocated the exact deluxe double room on the same floor. Hotel: This small and clean hotel is located in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter within a 2-3 minute walk to popular Ta Hien street (beer street). As I arrived I was greeted warmly by the very friendly door boy and receptionist and was offered a plate of fresh fruits and juice while they were taking care of the registration. All staff were very friendly throughout my stay, housekeeping was always on point and the general areas of the hotel spotless. I did not use the hotel wi-fi because I purchased a tourist sim card at the airport. And neither was I able to try out their complimentary breakfast. So I unable to comment on these services. Location: The airport express bus 86 as well as the big sleeper bus from Sapa stopped within a 5 minute walk to the hotel which is very convenient. The hotel is located on the eastern edge of Old Quarter so if you are arriving from the airport, inform the 'express bus 86' conductor that you would like to get off at the '142 Duong Tran Quang Khai' stop. You will save heaps compared to catching a cab from the airport. With this being my 2nd trip to Hanoi and having previously stayed in multiple other hotels in the same area (Old Quarter), I had a fair idea of the location prior to booking. What can I say, the hotel sure was in the heart of it all with coffee shops, bars, restaurants, clubs, travel agents, laundry services, a pharmacy, etc right below and all around the hotel. A popular Vietnamese BBQ restaurant 'Bo Nuong Xuan Xuan' is almost across the street from the hotel which I highly recommend. Most must see places are within walking distance from the hotel including the lake, popular egg coffee shops, train street and of course Ta Hien beer street. And I found the surroundings to be very safe. Room: A deluxe double room on a higher floor was assigned as requested which was exactly as pictured with just the right amount of space, modern and very clean. There was a mini bar, complimentary water, a safe, study desk and two small windows which unfortunately did not have much of a view. The bed was large and very comfortable and the flat screen TV had plenty of English channels including multiple music channels. The air con worked very well and kept the room nice and cold. Bathroom: I am very particular about bathrooms when booking hotels, and more often than not, I would rather have a nicer bathroom over a nicer bedroom. In this instance however I have nothing to complain about since the bathroom was equally as good as the bedroom. It was very clean, of a decent size, with a modern toilet, spacious vanity, and a large walk in shower with a rain shower head. No issues with water pressure and hot water. The shower cubicle had a see through window into the bedroom which can be closed by blinds (by the person t
