This was my third time to Lumeria. Personally, I really like place and will return. It is very low-key and low touch. During the day, it can be very difficult to find anyone to help you. So if you are looking for concierge level service and poshness, this is not the place for you. The rooms are tastefully furnished but fairly austerer (in keeping with the historical nature of the property) Breakfast was fine. Not gourmet. Dinner was a nice experience, but pretty overpriced given offering. There was no lunch option. Are there places for improvement? Absolutely. But on balance, and given the alternative big big box hotels on the island, I would definitely opt for this place if you’re looking just to relax in a place reminiscent of all Hawaii that is not on the beach.

The Paia Inn is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Paia will find that the Paia Inn is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel offers easy access to Kahului Airport, just 11km away. With multiple attractions nearby including Paia, Baldwin Beach Park and Hana Highway, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Paia hotel offers parking on site.
