Séjour de trois nuits pour visiter la famille. Belle suite sous les toits avec grande salle de bain et jaccuzi. Avec la chaleur, tout est fermée et la piéce est irrespirable. Aprés ouverture des Velux et de la porte fenêtre, tout devient rapidement plus agréable. Attention toutefois car la porte fenêtre donne sur l'escalier de secours, accessible trés facilement depuis l'extérieur sans sécurité. Le petit déjeuner est correcte mais sans plus, mieux vaut venir tôt car certains mets ne sont pas renouvelés. Des félicitations particuliéres à la jeune fille qui a géré seule durant ces quatre jours, la réception, le petit déjeuner, et les nettoyage des chambres tout en gardant le sourire. La direction fait des économies ? Le fait d'être à l'hôtel ne vous garantit nullement une place au restaurant le soir ce qui est dommage, comme en plus ce dernier est fermé le midi durant le week-end, nous n'avons pas pu nous restaurer sur place. La solution la plus proche reste le McDonald de l'autre côté de la rue ce qui n'est pas vraiment une alternative si vous souhaitez gouter la cuisine locale. A noter que notre chambre était au deuxiéme étage sans ascenseur et que les escaliers sont raides, personnes agées ou à mobilité réduite s'abstenir ! En été la nuit avec les fenêtres ouvertes, le bruit de la rue et du carrefour est omniprésent avec son lot de voitures qui démarrent sur les chapeaux de roues.

The apartment Hitel is actually well located in the middle of the underfields. These are newer apartments in a superstructure. The next hostel serves as a reception and restaurant. The rooms are actually well equipped. But: Check in is already very improvised. The staff appeared rather over-explored and you feel only completed on some questions. The kitchenware can be picked up at the reception, with oldware from the hospital, should be spent again before use. The walls in the room itself are very dirty. The facility is not old but is almost ready to be put off because of poor quality. Puts look like this: The lady comes with 1 spade bag and 2 froth towels into the room takes the waste and gives to the froth towels should not be changed. OK, you can live with it. But that's already special for 3 days. Since our trust in the skills of the staff was no longer available, we prefer to clean what was needed. There you knew at least that it was clean. In conclusion, in 2 weeks the following was cleaned: 1 time dry ground washed. No toilet was cleaned, forget the ground was absorbed in the bathroom and living room wet. After all, after 1 week, we appeared to have been re-replaced the bed, which was otherwise left to his fate. But since the fabric had spots, we used our own fabrics shortly. The restaurant we prefer to avoid because of the apparently special relationship with cleanliness. Unfortunately this is a disaster management, there could be a lot of good out there.

We had a family event for 24 with the majority staying in the hotel. The hotel is split into two sections, the renovated part (2016) being over a small road, but it is entirely self sufficient except for the breakfast room which is in the original building ( also very well appointed, light and airy but also cozy). My parents are both mobility challenged , one with crutches, the other a rollator. As soon as they checked in the owner and his wife came to offer a wheelchair for the duration of our stay. Their room was also changed to a larger one with walk in shower. Dinner was superb - the Chef is also the owner, and it was obvious his staff enjoy their work as nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were modern, seminar type as the renovated side is used for this purpose too.. Spotlessly clean, good internet, super comfy beds, safe, tv, no phones but a bottle of water by the bed. There is no minibar but a very comfortable seating area downstairs with snacks and wine. Each room is decorated on a wine theme, and if you feel like it, you can also sign the walls! Very cool. I would suggest kettles in the rooms though. However I did ask for one. All in all a lovely stay and if you need a place for seminars or private events I would definitely recommend it.

A little problem, at first, to understand how it works, but once I understand everything is well, but at least a little German or English must be spoken to get access to the structure. There is no reception, but a computer to enter the data, it is possible to do this in several languages, including the Italian. I didn't go to call the service at 22:00, I was also little illuminated, I missed a lamp that illuminated the room, there were only those small on the codlaws. Whoever sleeps with 2 coats or wants other covers/ pioneers to ask why they are not in the room. In the corridor there is a corner to make coffee or tea, cups suitable for express and cappuccino, but a little small for the tea, this corner also found it too little illuminated. Excellent breakfast with very friendly staff. Free parking. If I had to go back to Schönenwerd for one night or two, I would go back to this hotel.
