|0.12km from city centerThe room is large, with separate bathroom, separate shower, kitchen, cloakroom. It is not very neat and clean. At the end of August, there was a sheet on the bed. It was too cold. I woke up at 4 o'clock and found that there was a small blanket in the cloakroom. It was too small and about the same size as today. It was covered with two bath towels. The best is the location, shopping around various bars, BWS, Woolworth walk3-5 minutes away. Airport shuttle is also very convenient.

Checkin was two days late, the hotel's aunt did not say anything, but also let us have fun. The hotel has its own small infinity pool that just solves the problem of the Airlie Beach lagoon and pool maintenance. It should be noted that there are two uphill slopes to the hotel, which must be good for young people with good physical strength. If there is an elderly person, it is recommended to rent or about the car. The hotel is very cost-effective at Airlie Beach, with a great view on the hillside. It is a 10-minute walk from the Woolworth supermarket below. It is very suitable to buy food and cook. It is especially recommended to have a car family.

I was in Airlie on ” family business' and so appreciated meeting Pam (the owner?) and settling in quickly. I have always love the Mango House. It has such a positive, special ”tropical vibe” I've eyed off for the past 16 yrs on my countless visits there. My apartment was clean, comfortable and over-looked the pool. As a solo woman traveller, I loved it. It was very calming. Felt safe, accessible & quiet accommodation. Perfect for me.! Comfortable! I was confidently left to myself to ”get on with the business” !! It may not suit Sheraton Hotels 5 star travellers...nor those who want a butler!! However, being ex Sydney and appreciating the ”good things in life” it was perfect for me!!! Close enough to Airlie shops, good restaurants, beautiful walks.....really amazing!!! I'll be back as soon as I can!!!

Staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help. We loved the pool and tennis court and there’s a great coffee shop downstairs The location is one of the best in Airlie - an easy flat walk up to the Main Street, lagoon and cruise terminal. Everything we needed was close by. Will definitely stay here again.

The balcony had good views, and when the door was closed the traffic noise below was muted. While it’s a 1km walk to town, there are bus stops close by. No breakfast options nearby though - you have to get yourself to town for that. The pool was fine. Will be happy to stay here again.

The kitchen was so organised - made it such a breeze to cook! Just a few minutes drive out of Airlie beach, everything is easy to get too, and with Cannonvale just 5 minutes the other direction for the bigger shops the positioning was perfect. Beautiful view across the marina. The management here was just sensational. Fran and Paul are the most lovely and accommodating people. They do anything to help and are very knowledgeable! We will definately be back!

|36.52km from city centerI was lucky enough to stay at this wonderful retreat for a friend's 50th and my expectations were well exceeded. I knew we'd be relaxing in well appointed rooms on a secluded island but I was not expecting the food to be as good. It was better than anything I've eaten in Melbourne restaurants of late and that's no offense to those eateries. The food at Elysian is that good. I can't recall ever tasting a better satay than our lunch on day 1. It only got better from there. I'd also like to praise the staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. We had some poor weather days but it didn't stop the fun. Thanks to the excellent Bunny as our main host, the skilled kitchen staff and excellent yoga instructor and all those who helped with the water sports, the spa, etc. 10/10.

If you have any problem (even caused by themselves), they will never try to help you, and for any question, they give you just fast answers to get rid of you. A girl, in particular, a blonde one with curly hair, left me impressed thinking of how a person can be so mad while working in a tourism facility. If you hate to work with people, why don't you find another job? there are plenty of jobs in Australia. I have been extending my stay different times and every time they charged me with more than the correct percentage for the card payment and I had to push them to correct the mistake. The place is not bad, the location very good, but the girls at the reception ruined my stay and since the beginning made me feel uncomfortable. I stayed in a camping site. The price in a beautiful town like that it's ok, just the site was too small.

Overall good, the staff I saw were basically smiling service. The room was a bit small, so it was called a bungalow, with a kitchen and no oven. Baby kangaroos can be seen at the door in the morning and dusk.

The downstairs is the supermarket, you can buy what you need, eat, invincible sea views, and very close to the market, there are several restaurants in the Internet, the distance from the pier is acceptable, breakfast is simple, because the travel time is early, So I ate at the hotel on the last day. The room was large, but the facilities were old, but it was acceptable. The bed was too small.

The balcony provided beautiful views, the self-contained apartment was clean and tidy and had everything I needed, including a washing machine and dryer. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to restaurants, the beach and shops. The bus is very close if you prefer not to walk. There is a steep hill to get up the driveway if you are without transport, but it was just part of my daily exercise routine. Not at all an issue for me but some may struggle if they don't have a car.

Our room was even nicer than the photos portrayed on booking.com and trip advisor. I honestly cannot fault this place especially considering the affordable price per night as well. The staff were also extremely friendly. The only ‘issue’ we had was the cold water tap didn’t really go cold. However we didn’t bother raising this issue to reception as if we had a jug in the fridge which we were filling up but I’m sure if we were to have pointed this out someone would’ve looked at the issue. 10/10 stay I would definitely return!!

There is just a handful of apartments overlooking the pool and parking is out the back. Our apartment was clean and comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchenette is functional and well stocked which is not always the case. We loved all of the personal touches around the property that make it feel individual like the fake croc in the pool. There is a shared patio running the length in front of the apartments with tables and chairs. So nice to sit out here at night with dinner and a glass of wine, feels friendly. Fiona was kind enough to look after our luggage while we went out to the Reef Suite overnight and my bouquet from our vow renewal. We will definitely park ourselves here again on our next trip to Airlie.

The room was immaculately clean and tidy with everything I needed for a great holiday. Tina made sure I was ok and had what I needed from milk to fresh towels every day. Only a short walk to the town centre to enjoy great food and good coffee with wonderful atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and I felt at home for the week of my stay. I will be telling all my good friends to come and stay and experience the scenic beauty of the waterfront, friendly towns people and wonderful holiday experience. I have travelled the world and been on all seven continents and my restful stay at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat is at the top of my favourite list of places to visit. I truely recommend this retreat to anyone who wants a great holiday.

|1.16km from city centerWe drove up from Melbourne towing our boat and stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom cabin (sleeps 6) for 5 nights 26/6/23 to 1/7/23 - It was INCREDIBLE. This was our best family holiday so far. 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 2). Our cabin was right next to the park and jumping pillow which was perfect! The play equipment was great and kept the kids entertained for hours as well as all the other kids staying in the park. Boat was easy to park just behind our cabin, others had parked their trailers/caravans there too so plenty of room while you’re there for storage. Our cabin was stunning. It was huge, full kitchen, lounge, dinner table, bathroom with a washer and dryer, tvs in both bedrooms and the lounge! Everything was super comfy and worked smoothly without issues. So good to be able to relax in your own space with everything you need and not take any dirty washing home! Only minor comment is that there was free wifi but it’s temperamental so we weren’t able to connect at all - didn’t bother us but just so you know. The pool was crystal clear salt water, huge, toddler pool also and a water park. Not heated so lovely and refreshing! The kids and us were fully entertained and enjoyed hours splashing in both. These facilities far outweigh other parks in the area and I wouldn’t choose any other park with kids. Hands down the way to go. The grounds are pristine and well kept, lush and so beautiful. So much space to play and walk and enjoy. Pedal carts were fun and games room took spare change haha! Reception staff always kind and helpful ready to go above and beyond. We had booked a room and tried to change it online but had issues through the booking company and extra fees. When we checked in they advised they upgraded us for free! AMAZING!! We rode into town for dinner and sightseeing a few nights/days and it was 3.5km, an easy ride our 5 year old managed no issues. Jubilee tavern is super close and has an awesome playground for kids. Also a great skate park just up from that and in Airlie an epic park too.so convenient to the park. We 300% recommend Discovery Parks Airlie Beach and WILL DEFINITELY be back to stay many more times. Thank you so much - Best holiday ever!!!

|0.61km from city centerMy husband and I booked a Deluxe King Spa Room for 5 nights, 6 days including continental breakfast. Overall we were happy with our stay. Staff were friendly, room was clean, the pool area was lovely. Only small complaints are that the pillows were not very comfortable and the bathroom needs updating, the water pressure in the shower was very bad. The restaurant in the resort was lovely for our daily breakfasts but very expensive. If you wanted hot food for breakfast you had to pay for it and the price of $5 for a hash brown, $5 for bacon and $3 for a poached egg was exuberant. We realised that the inclusive continental breakfast did not include hot breakfast foods. The choice of other breakfast foods was ok. I, personally would like to give a shout out to Christina at reception for looking after me when I needed a special favour 😊.

Such a kind hearted and helpful man. My partner and Children got lost trying to find their way around, Messa helped them find their way and after that he greeted us with a massive smile and hello each time we crossed paths. He was so lovely and kind, the kids adored him and loved seeing his friendly face around!! We can’t wait to go back to see him!!

I don't clean the room every day, I feel very good and protect privacy. If you need cleaning, you can tell at the hotel front desk. Dinner was great too. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach as well as coles.
The hotel also has a shuttle service, which is great overall and good value for money.

|1.03km from city centerThe Mirage is a gorgeous hotel with modern rooms and breathtaking views. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment (room 53) which overlooked the sea and the pool. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities. It’s a 5min cab ride to the main ***** in Airlie Beach which costs $10 each way. The hotel also offer a free shuttle at 10:30am and 2:30pm daily which was handy. Now to go over the not so great aspects of hotel. The rug in room 53 is stained, dirty and I had to ask for someone to come up to vacuum it when I arrived because I didn’t want my baby crawling on it. Even with the vacuum it was still disgusting. The rug needs to go! The bed heads need to be replaced as the material is flaking and gets all over the bed. The shower screens were not cleaned at all. Standard of cleaning must be improved. The breakfast is pretty average, presentation, quality and variety needs to be improved. The portable clothes line in our laundry was old and broken, needed to be thrown out and not offered to guests in that state. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

|1.12km from city centerAfter staying at Kipara in 2013, 2014 and 2015 a return in 2023 revealed that it is still an awesome place to stay at while spenind time in Airlie Beach. They have recently rearranged and refurbished the cabins and have still been working on the reception area to improve the feeling of being welcome even more. After the hosts Shirley and Bruce finally left it has now been to Laurence from Canada to turn this stay into an unforgettable experience, friendliness and helpfulness have been outstanding and I can only recommend this place should you ever plan a trip to Airlie !
