I booked this hotel at last minute due to a missed flight and all other affordable and decent hotels in city center were booked. The hotel is maintained well and has decent facilities(gym,24 hour room service, spa)for this price range.. There is also a near by super market to buy your essentials.. Only con is the location and I managed it by using Gojek and grab.. Also it helps to call before and confirm your booking as I found some travellers had an issue where it showed confirmed for them while the hotel says it has been auto cancelled by the system..

This is the secret base for my husband and I. I will come here on Sundays or public holidays for vacation. A very beautiful hotel with a sailboat as the design concept. The scenery is beautiful. Needless to say, the meals & service staff here are very good, especially It is worth mentioning that the restaurant's Indonesian fried rice & sliced pizza is super delicious, and it must be ordered every time you come!

The hotel is a short distance from Batam Central Pier. Although not far away and the scenery is good, it is not suitable for walking: because there are basically no traffic lights on the road, there are many cars and motorcycles, and the intersection is difficult to pass. It is recommended to take a taxi. The hotel service is great, the condition is good, and the price is high. It took a little time to figure out how to turn on the lights in the room. Breakfast is buffet; other meals can also be eaten here, the dishes are good and the price is not high. There are also many places to eat across from the hotel. Looking at some seafood or something very tempting, but I really do n’t know how to get across the road, so I ate at the hotel.

The location of the hotel is about 40 minutes by taxi from the pier. The surrounding scenery is quite beautiful. There is a motorboat project. The water in the hotel is good. There is a swimming pool in the hotel, but the room facilities are old. The charger in the hotel does not have a mobile phone charger in the room. There is no plug, the tube waiter wants two bottles of water to say that it is because the check-out is not given only when the check-in is given? ? Do not understand. But the attitude of the service staff is still good, I have been smiling, the hotel breakfast is really hearty but it is also good for this price. The massage in the hotel I would have hesitated the technicians and the spa shop outside is not recommended.

Just came back from Bali Ubud and then into this resort at Batam. May be worlds apart but Woda has the rustic charm and serenity of the ricefields admist the outskirts area. We had our own pool shared with 6 units but all not occupied except us. Rooms were nice and comfortable bed but small pillows. Had a walk around the compound and basically rooms on stilts over the pond. Came with friends and had fresh seafood at the golden prawn kelong. We cycled to the other areas near the Go cart, which had a weekend carnival like local gathering by the lake, with mobile food stalls set up. Also explored the village-like surroundings, with good durians and food. Must try their massage and they also provide shuttle to the malls ;- mainly Nagoya and BCS. There's a third mall Grand Batam mall, which was the newest. We enjoyed the Shabu Shabu Japanese buffet bbq and steamboat, all in one at the new mall. Overall a fun weekend getaway, with good service except for mosquitoes at night. Wife gotten bitten just for taking a short walk through the garden at dusk. Still worth the trip, although we moved to a better class hotel called Grands I beside Nagoya Mall, which was newly renovated and had 2 big pillows each and 1 booster to boot. Best sleep ever so far in my life there.

I am not used to the local breakfast, so I went out to eat with my boyfriend. If you can choose not to have breakfast, I suggest that you choose not to have breakfast, because there are many places to eat near the hotel, coffee shops and the like. If you want to go to a beautiful place, it is not recommended to choose this hotel, because there is nothing to play near this hotel. We usually go to eat seafood and massage. Although seafood is not as good as our Qingdao, it is great for people who have lived in Singapore for many years.

Cons: The water heater is not easy to use, at most it only produces warm water; there are many ants in the room, especially the toilets; the hotel is in a bad location, and you have to take a taxi everywhere; there are only two small shops nearby for food, and the clerk does not speak English. After I left Indonesia, I realized that I forgot my iPad in the hotel. I called the hotel reception. They helped me find my iPad and safely kept it. I am going back to Indonesia next week and I will collect it. I want to praise the efficiency, professionalism and honesty of the hotel housekeeping team and front desk. There are multiple people who helped me retrieve my iPad specially the receptionist who picked up my phone for the second time. She sent me Whatsapp messages to reassured me that my lost item was in good hands. Her name is Ms. Irma. Thank you Irma and thank you all!

The location is very good, just beside the port, two steps away, very close to the Nagoya shopping mall, five minutes drive, the service is very warm, the room space is not bad, but the hotel towels do not know why it is gray I am sure that it is not originally gray, because there is a different white, the water in the swimming pool does not look too clean and small, there is no breakfast at the hotel, but there are restaurants nearby, and there are seafood restaurants near the beach in the evening. Although the taste of sea water is not very good, the scenery is good.

This is my 3rd time staying at Harmony Suites. Everything about the hotel is good. Service is excellent. Staff smiling and approachable. Security Guard on duty is ready with their smile and especially one Guard (a middle age) spent time advising and showing us directions when we need to rush to the Harapan Bunda Hospital at night on 21.10.19. Without his advise we could have gone to the wrong place. Really grateful to him but missed taking down his name. Will find out his name next time during our stay next time. Counter staff at Reception are also friendly to name Lakshmi, Elvy, male staff and many others who are always welcoming with their sweet smile. Distance to Nagoya Hill is also near just walk about 10 minutes. Breakfast is also good - widespread. Overall we are happy to stay at your hotel and will definitely continue staying there whenever we visit Batam. Atmosphere around the hotel is pleasant.

The hotel looks very good, very close to the central pier, and it is safe to get in the elevator to get up the stairs. In addition, the hotel's dining is also very good, his family's Yangzhou fried rice and Kung Pao chicken (chicken) are also very delicious. There is a buffet of around 30RMB at noon on Friday. The only thing that is a little bit sloppy is the smell of mildew in the room. I don't know if it is close to the sea. The sheets are still very clean and the facilities are very good.

Stayed here for 1 night and only because it was organized by someone else and that apparently the other hotel preferred was fully booked. They claim that this is a 3-star hotel, but honestly, it's a 2-star at best. Personally, I would not stay here ever again, but I can understand why some would because it IS very budget. Honestly, breakfast is terrible and the room is far from romantic, despite the huge see-through glass between the bathroom and bedroom. You can hear some faint noises from the outside, but if you are tired enough, I suppose it won't matter anyway. While I appreciate the effort and the service, I would only ever stay here again if there was really no other place available. The only reason I did not give this a lower 2 is because i need to be fair and match this standard against the price of the room night stay (which was less than SDG$40 per night).

I experienced a travel back in time with a recent meal at Dju Dju Coffee Shop in my recent one day visit to Batam, Indonesia. Dju Dju coffee shop is located right beside the DjuDju Hotel at Komplek Bumi Indah Block IV no. 43,44, Nagoya. The shop decor and food posters on the white tiled walls reminded me of the kopitiams of the 1960s. It offers a good variety of local food in a clean and spacious environment. As there were seven of us in our group, we were able to order several dishes and ate to our heart's content. We were so delighted for every dish didnt disappoint us. The must-try dishes are fried kway teow and laksa and prawn noodle soup. There are also small snacks of kueh kueh on sale . We enjoyed a sumptuous meal at a very affordable price and pleasantly served by the staff. We certainly will return to this clean and nice coffee shop in our future visits to Batam.

This is a no-frills budget hotel. Be prepared for only 1 pair of slippers, 1 set of toiletries. But you can always ask reception for more sets. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. Beehoon fried rice eggs chicken bread coffee and tea. Simple fare but was stood out was the burly manager and hardworking staff at breakfast clearing plates and being very attentive to replenish the dishes and drinks! Kudos to the staff! Room was spacious enough for 2. Although toilet has slight sewage smell but for a 1 night stay it was sufficient enough. 3 stars for the limited amenities but good service and sufficient stay. Surroundings are dark and quiet. Do not go out at night.

The only good thing about this place is the location and TV channels. Other that, on the first day we checked in we found a couple of baby cockroaches. Not 1 room but 2/3 room had baby cockroaches. We went out and told them to get rid of the cockroaches. We came back at midnight and we found more baby cockroaches around. Not only in the room, the toilets, the door and even the walls. We suck it up that night and requested to change rooms the next day. As it's a public holiday, they did not have rooms that night. So we moved our things from to the 1 room that does not have many baby cockroaches. Came back at 11pm and took the keys to our new room. Once we stepped into the room, we saw baby cockroaches on the toilet door. Not 1 but two. Near the bed. Apparently the reception did not react like they were surprise. We came down asked for a refund for 1/3 rooms and moved. While at the reception there were guest who overheard us and agreed there was many baby cockroaches. While waiting for them to solve this issue we walk around the back of the 2nd floor and found trash bags filled with trash (around 8-10 of it) near their back door. IT WAS INSIDE THE BUILDING! They didn't dispose any of the trash properly! Imagine having to sleep and worrying baby cockroaches might crawl on you during the night. I warn you not to stay here!

Once again, visit the brand of Ruiqidun, this I have to say that in Ruidan, Bintan, let me once again feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of this niche brand. This is the short travel time of Bintan Island, but the style, facilities and services of the entire resort are once again beyond my imagination. This is also the third experience after the Maldives and Mauritius. Just arrived at Bintan Island Pier, I saw the resort's eye-catching greeting card, and was brought to the resort's exclusive shuttle bus by the enthusiastic butler. There were not only towels, drinks and snacks, but also WiFi. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the resort, but enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, the time is quietly leaving, the manager at the front desk is Taiwanese, friendly Chinese and warm service, which eliminates me who is not very fluent in English. Of course, it was later discovered that the water sports center, as well as the restaurant, had Chinese-speaking service staff, and they treated every guest like a family. Fortunately, this time my room was upgraded to a beach villa with a swimming pool. When I entered the door, I was greeted by the fruit and the exquisite welcome bouquet. The leaves and flowers on the bed were welcome, busy and exhausted. Instant disappeared without a trace, of course, for my food, super love their local specialty restaurant, RICA-RICA, this is their special dining, mainly Indonesian food, love, fragrant, recommended; Since it only took two days to experience the snorkeling of the resort's recommended slopes, it has to be said that the sand here is white and thin, just like the feeling of a small horse. Photographing or snorkeling is beautiful; for those who like fireflies Friends, have to recommend, their family has a mangrove tour every day, a lot of fireflies can really feel the feel of the Christmas tree; have long heard friends say that Indonesian spa is a must experience, their home spa is also super love, used The brand is also very advanced ila, cozy, of course, their resort activities are really rich, paintball, ATV, high and low TB, Indonesian food and beverage courses, and so on, the next company group building, here must be the first choice. The children's activities are also super, the parcel reading room, chess, batik lessons, paintings, etc., must take the husband and son to go. In short, this is a business trip to Singapore, which lasted for 2 days to relax the island of Bintan. Anyway, it feels like there is not enough to play, and strive to have a chance to pass.

Take a boat from Bintan Merah Pier in Singapore to Bintan Island for about an hour. The subway has to take a taxi to Tanah Merah, about 15 SGD to the pier. When you arrive at Bintan Island Pier, there are hotel staff to pick up. The pier is approximately 15-20 minutes drive from the hotel. The island is not fully developed, it is always clean and there are no traffic lights. Suitable for slow life. The free drinks at the hotel check in the lobby are very good, the staff are very welcoming, and the tips hotels basically speak English. The hotel has its own beach but it is not very big. Because there are few people, it is enough, basically it is unique to yourself, very good! The room is a villa, there is a shuttle bus from the lobby to the room, and the staff introduces the room facilities. The room is very clean, the pool is a little small, and the personal feeling is still very good value. The island is basically every one kilometer is the hotel, go out to shout to the hotel, go to the Kui Chai seafood restaurant to eat seafood at night, this is the highest rated restaurant on the public comment island, but the crab is really not good, 1 kg of crab There is no meat (it is far worse than Singapore's treasure crab), Gong Gong is very delicious, the couple have eaten more than rmb700, the loop fee is RMB 200, not recommended. The room we stayed in was early. The restaurant is right in front of the beach and the scenery is very good. There are many types of breakfast, and I will send a piece of egg cake and hot dog platter. I didn’t know it before, I took it earlier, and later I couldn’t eat it, it was a bit guilty. The hotel has archery, banana boat, motorcycle and other items, all of which are self-funded. Motorcycles can drive to the beach. Perhaps because the network is not fully developed, the island network is not good, the hotel Wi-Fi belongs to, you can watch the video brush microblogging, playing games will not work. The portable Wi-Fi I rented often has no signal on the island. Recommend a hotel waiter fee column, the one on the picture below, very talkative, good service attitude! To sum up, this is a place to enjoy nature and enjoy a slow life, very quiet. Watching the sea, sunbathing, swimming, when the work pressure is high, the mind is released. Due to the lack of entertainment on the island and fewer attractions, it is recommended to go with friends. I feel a bit short in my day trip and have a chance to go again!
