The location is a relatively lively neighborhood, and there are many high-rated restaurants at the door. The hotel gave breakfast, which is better. The most convenient hotel has a free bus that can be sent to nearby points, we went to Zhida.

First the good: It's clean and elegant. It's located in the commercial section of Hyde Park, so restaurants abound and it's a short walk and bus ride to downtown. Hyde Park itself is a wonderful neighborhood, so you can spend your stay touring this one neighborhood and the lakefront and be satisfied. Now the bad: Water costs money! According to the front desk they only have 16 oz. bottles of Evian for $5 a bottle! That's absurd and really unfortunate for an otherwise classy and pleasant experience. Offering people "complimentary" tea and coffee, while not providing filtered water to make said tea and coffee is not classy. The wifi security is questionable. I connected to their wifi without a password, so make sure you have a VPN on your device. The room I had was at street level so it can get a bit noisy. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

At the lakeside, but you have to go through the overpass on the south side, you can see the night view of the city at night, but the return journey must return to the original road. We want to go around the loop and the result of the navigation is going through the very dark park, which looks inside. Very unsafe. There are some high-rise apartments around, it doesn't feel like a black area, but it's a trouble to go black in the middle of the night.

The room is large, one bed in the twin room is double bed size. Heating and air-conditioning will make people noisy, and they will wake up in the middle of the night. It can only be turned on for a while and then turned off before going to bed. The smoke alarm rang in the middle of the night. It turned out to be dead. Come at three o'clock in the middle to change the battery. The card was once degaussed, and I changed it. When I walked to the front desk, I didn't notice any customers (someone was lying on the front desk, didn't talk, and thought it was a staff member). rude". As a hotel, did you feel hostile? The heating system is so loud that will wake you in midnight. The fire alarm may ring in midnight just because it runs out of battery. The waiter in the counter called me rude when I failed to notice he was working. As a hotel, I found No hospitality, only some trivial hostility.

The first time I wrote Ctrip comment, because I was very touched, I checked the phone and landed it in the room. I remembered it the next day, contacted Ctrip customer service and helped me confirm with the hotel. The customer service was very enthusiastic and the hotel kept the phone safe. Special thanks to the hotel cleaning aunt, it should be a Chinese. Thank you

This review is strictly from my perspective as a Hilton Honors Diamond member. I was very disappointed about the way I was treated at the HGI Chicago McCormick Place. Checked in with Khayla who did not acknowledge or welcome me as a HH member and/status which should have included a welcome bag with two complimentary bottled waters. After I checked my room, I realized that prior to check in my room was changed to handicap accessible without my advance permission. I didn't complain because I was curious to see an accessible set up but as a Diamond member, I am supposed to be guaranteed my reserved room choice. I returned to front desk to ask for my HH complimentary bottled water and was treated like I was asking for a favor instead of something I was entitled to as a HH Diamond member immediately upon check in. A different front desk agent (a young, slender white male wearing glasses), instead of apologizing for my having to ask said …"Oh sure I can get you two bottles of water…". I told the valet, who is NOT a hotel employee, I had the 'Park and Stay' package. He asked me to verify my reservation with the front desk and followed me into the hotel to watch as I returned to Khayla and told her the valet didn't believe I reserved the Park and Stay package. She looked over to where the valet watched our interaction and nodded to him that I was correct. After that I returned with him back to the valet booth where he finally gave me my parking receipt and explained the Park and Stay in-and-out procedures. I was humiliated and insulted and felt like I was being discriminated against because I was an elderly woman of color being treated like a child. Next time I will tell the valet that if he doesn't believe I reserved the Park and Stay Package, he can verify my reservation directly with the front desk because I won't. I recommend that the hotel place a 'Park and Stay Package' sticker furnished either by the hotel or by the valet company for hotel use, on the inside or outside of the room key paper holder in order to avoid this type of conflict and return trips to the front desk. Valet parking was $59 WITHOUT the Park and Stay Package which includes in and out privileges. You can also self-park at the same outdoor parking lot in the next block for $42 per 24-hour day but it will not include in and out privileges. There were no bell hops on duty when I arrived but luggage carts were available. Was given inaccurate information by front desk staff when I returned a third time to ask how I could use my $10 'My Way' food and beverage credit. Khayla said I could use it at the hotel lobby mini market, the hotel's Vu Rooftop restaurant and/or Starbuck's adjacent to the hotel lobby and that all purchases could be charged to my hotel room. The hotel mini market sells packaged snacks, goods and bottled and canned beverages at typical hotel prices with a self-checkout register for everything except alcoholic beverages, which must be checked out at the front desk. The hotel is located in China Town, opened in 2021, very new. I booked a standard king size bed room with a small sofa bed, including three breakfasts. The car is parked in the Chinatown parking lot next to it, 16 US dollars for 24 hours. We stayed for one night, and overall it was very good, the hotel is very new, and there is a variety of food and hot pot downstairs. The attraction "You're Beautiful" is also downstairs. The hotel has a good location, just beside Michigan Avenue, and convenient to all major attractions in Chicago. The hotel environment is also very good. It is quiet and clean. The space is large enough. There is sufficient hot water supply, but there is no hot water to drink. We brought our own heat The most distinctive feature of the kettle for boiling water is the hotel’s robots, which can deliver water and daily necessities, which are available on demand, great! We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are many restaurants around, which are very convenient. The waiters in the hotel are very good and the service is very warm and thoughtful. Our trip felt very good, the price was affordable and the process was comfortable!

The location is next to the Netherland Theatre, a few hundred meters away from the Millennium Park. The location is good. The large 34 square meter room is spacious. Prepaid is good. If you pay by credit card debit after you leave the store, the information is lagging behind. Hotel prices vary from day to day, and the same room may double the price difference. Don't spend money. It is the most economical to buy sandwich milk from your own supermarket.

If you are looking for a family friendly place look no further. I brought my teenage daughter her for her birthday and it was perfect location for downtown Chicago. From the moment we checked in the staff was superb!! They were extremely friendly from check in to breakfast. Ismeta was the morning hotestess and she was the perfect start to our day. She just made everyone feel like family. She was friendly and helpful and her bright, friendly smile just made you feel so welcome. We will definately be back. If I had to choose to pay a little more to stay here or another hotel it would worth the extra money! The rooms were clean and the bed were comfy. It was the perfect choice. This is my fourth stay at this hotel and I have always found the employees to be kind and helpful and everything working without a hitch. However, this time around my room had a problem with the thermostat and heating, and although it's March, the last two days have been very chilly, and the heater was emitting cool air most of the time, rather than warm air, even when I turned the thermostat up to a high temperature. This was very bothersome to me (I didn't want to change rooms since otherwise my room was perfect), so I talked to the front desk about this, and Mirsad, the assistant engineer of the hotel, was in my room ASAP and checked the thermostat, the unit itself, left to get a part, showed immense concern for my well-being (I was cold, especially at night), and took care of the problem. I was impressed by this employee's professionalism and the effort he made to ensure the heating/cooling unit and thermostat were working well. I have yet another three days here at the hotel, and my room is now warm and comfy. Excellent customer service, which is what it's all about.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The biggest feature of the room is the floor-to-ceiling windows. The scenery outside the window is very clear. Although there is no bustling Michigan Avenue, it is still good! There is a bar on the 18th floor of the hotel, not big. The hotel has a restaurant on the left side of the hotel entrance, named Somerset, in the room can also book this restaurant in the room dinning, about twenty or thirty minutes to deliver the meal to the room. I really like the bathroom's minimalist wash suit, which is white tea, especially fragrant and comfortable. Shopping, dining and entertainment are nearby. Not far from there are Chinese restaurants, such as Imperial Lamian, Old Sichuan, MingHin Cuisine, Shanghai Terrance, which are just a few minutes from Uber. Royal chef and old Sichuan are very popular! It is also 10 minutes from the hotel to the famous scenic spot Michigan Avenue, which is also close to Navy Pier and Millennium Park. The fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation in the hotel is not good, the guests from the opposite side of the room can hear the opening of the door, but the overall is good!

The team at the front desk who checked me and we’re so energetic and friendly and shared in my excitement of spending a week in beautiful Chicago. Every time I dropped why they were always so helpful to point me in the right direction and made amazing suggestions for so many things! Rooms were gorgeous, a little art deco, a little swank! The linens were lovely and the pillows and beds were as well, I never heard anything from any of my neighbors even though I knew they were there. So super close to great shopping and fun things to do, including my favorite deep dish pizza in Chicago, Giordano’s, which is 3 blocks away! Lots of Uber‘s always buzzing by the front entrance for easy pickup & dropoff. I was so lonely missing my kitties that they offered me a goldfish! Kempton is my new favorite brand of hotel! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had booked a last minute trip to Chicago's Virgin Hotel to spend some time with my daughters. From the first minute we walked in the service was impeccable. This continued throughout our stay everytime we walked in or out of the hotel (many times). The location was perfect to shops, restaurants, Riverwalk, beautiful architecture, and many other visual attractions. The only downfall to our visit was it was Covid season and many restrictions to places we could go to watch the football game and/or eat as the restaurants were all closed in the hotel. That was a safety issue for the guests so it was appreciated they weren't open. The one thing I'd recommend is for them to have a list of what was open nearby and what was offered (dine-in, delivery, take out, etc.). We were able to find places on our own, but it would have saved us the time from searching/calling around. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

The hotel matched all the criteria I was looking for and it was available for a reasonable price so I booked it. After I booked it, I called to confirm the details of the shuttle and the service I received was not great; I thought it was a one-off but actually that was the type of service I was going to receive throughout my stay. My family arrived before me and even though we had called to confirm the airport pickup and shuttle times, we were told 'just call when you arrive and the shuttle will be there'. Every time we asked we got a different response - one person said the shuttle ran on a schedule and another said that it was upon request. We tried taking the shuttle three times - once from the airport, once to the airport, and once again to the airport and each time it was EXTREMELY delayed and/or it was a guesstimate as to when it would actually go. After that, we stopped using the shuttle at all. The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the airport and is located across the highway from the Rosemount train station. The hotel looks like it was built in the 1950's with a high hotel and a huge parking lot. You have to cross the huge parking lot and walk across the highway on a pedestrian bridge to access the train - its not bad during the day but can be a little sketchy at night. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance and there are lots of delivery options available as well (we did a delivery option and when it was delivered to the hotel, they were told to leave it on the table in the lobby. We went down to pick it up and no one confirmed to ensure it was our order so you can pick up any order you want). The lobby was designed in a circular fashion with the check-in desks to the left, the bar and restaurant straight ahead, the elevators to the room on the right, and the concierge desk also on the right. We checked-in and were not given any information and in fact the attendant could not have cared less (even though there was no one behind us). We received our key and proceeded to our room. Even though the area for the hotel was large and the hotel building looked large, the rooms were smaller than I expected. As you entered, there was a bathroom on the right and a closet on the left side. The bathroom was standard and contained a sink, a toilet and a bathtub - the only negative about the hotel was the minimal space. The closet was also a standard hotel closet and contained shelves, a place to hang clothes, an iron and ironing board, as well as a safe. Further into the room, on the right side were the 2 double beds with a nightstand in the middle. The beds were decent and provided a good nights sleep - again the space between the beds were tighter than anticipated. In front of the beds was a chest with a drawers on the bottom and a TV on top. Next to that was a desk on wheels so you can move the desk around the room. Along the wall were windows which were a nice addition as it

Juan checked us in early after we explained we had to be at a very important family party in the early afternoon. We were very fortunate there was a room available for us. He was very helpful and the room we had was on the first floor for two nights. I agree that the place needs some updating and TLC, but the people that work there couldn't be nicer! That being said, one big suggestion from two senior citizens: put some non slip grips in the tubs because they are quite slippery and we had to be careful not to fall while taking a shower! Parking is nearby and not at all as expensive as the downtown hotels. There is a parking garage down the side alley that is $25/day and also another garage at Walmart across street. There is a nice bench out in front of the hotel where you can wait for an Uber, or just people watch. We have stayed at the Willows several times due to our daughter living nearby in Lakeview. Also, someone said they only got one set of towels and they were small. We thought the opposite. There were a few sets of towels, they were quite large and smelled good!
