The Nepalese people have also gone bad. The hotel may be in a good business in Durbar Square. When I went there, I obviously had a room. I told you that there is no theory. Ctrip can book why you said no, I know that we only stayed for 1 night and hesitated. Half a day, shouting leadership, what is not too slow to ask a lot of questions, or not, tired and sleepy, I insisted on the theory, finally got a list in Ctrip, or gave the room Living on the top floor, there was no electricity in the socket at night, no hot water bathing, the monkey ran into the house at night and pulled on the luggage and so on... but the next day, the red sister forgot to forget everything.

I'm extremely happy and satisfied to have chosen this hotel for my stay. Being located at the heart of Kathmandu i.e. at Thamel, it is yet away from disturbances and noises. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and beautiful. The best is the hospitality of the staffs. They are too cooperative and give their best services. Shopping (Ason, Thamel bazaar, NewRoad) and sightseeing points (Basantapur Durbar Square, Garden of Dreams) are nearby. The plus point is that taxi services are easily accessible, right at the doorstep of the hotel. Their restaurant is just in 2 mins walking distance, where you will find some delectable dishes. Also can be ordered and you can enjoy in the hotel itself. The hotel is good for leisure, vacation or business trip on budget. I totally recommend it to my fellow travellers.

I stayed here twice, before starting the Annapurna Circuit and after when I returned. They held my luggage for weeks in between. It's a great, quirky boutique hotel with half its rooms charming and old style and the other half modern like a 'typical' hotel. You get to choose and can view both before doing so. The attached courtyard/restaurant is lovely and great for meeting other travellers and the food is good. The breakfast could be a little better but, hey, it's free. The reception is very helpful and will organize bus tickets, taxi, etc. Location is great - just outside of Thamel chaos, but walking distance to everything. Recommended!

I visited Kathmandu with Projects Abroad, who booked our housing at the Little Nepal Inn. Kathmandu and Thamel, in particular, is VERY hectic, and it got to a point that when, after dodging motorbikes, taxis and errand goat legs sticking out from shop windows, as soon as I saw the twinkling little sign announcing the Little Nepal Inn, I could breathe just a little easier. And that weight fully lifts once you are inside, and greeted by the manager, who has a smile larger than any wattage bulb in all of Nepal. He and his staff treated us like gold. They fed us, cleaned our rooms and did our laundry. They could not have done more to make sure that we were happy with our stay. These were economy lodgings, so downsides were to be expected. My room faced a very busy street. Alternatively, the rooms across the hall faced a public parking square where very dubious events took place at all time of day and night. Your choice. However, these issues had little impact on a good night's sleep because it is the barking stray dogs that keep you up, and there isn't much you can do about that. But the staff was so nice!

We stayed 5 nights over our whole trip to Nepal as our trekking company use this hotel as their base. It is a short walk from the south end of Thamel ( 5 mins). The staff were amazing, and always friendly - breakfast was huge. The rooms are being renovated and on our last 2 nights we ended up in a couple of new rooms which were lovely up on the 4th floor ( although i wasn't sure about the bright green paint!)

Stayed at this nice little hotel for a total of five nights during a two week trip to Nepal. The hotel is in a back street location in the main tourist area of Thamel, about 20 mins from the airport. The surrounding streets are somewhat narrow and 'potholed' and a public bathing site is at the end of the street. However, there are many restaurants in the area, so choice is great if you do not wish to eat in the hotel. The staff here are lovely, very welcoming and always seem pleased to see you and always ask after your day. We returned to this hotel three times during the two week period and each time we were greeted like old friends. Our room was clean, tidy but quite compact and devoid of any storage , although due to our 'nomadic' itinerary, we were living out of our cases, so storage wasn't essential for us. There is no room safe. Note that there is a building site next door which seems to have some strange working hours.......with shovelling of debris late at night and early mornings being a little annoying. Obviously not the hotel's fault but may be worth requesting a room at the rear side of the hotel. We ate a couple of meals in the restaurant as well as the included buffet breakfasts and enjoyed the reasonably priced food. Overall, we enjoyed each stay here and would happily return. Note that most hotels and restaurants in Nepal add 10% service charge and 23% government tax to the advertised prices. Card payments also attract a 4% surcharge throughout Nepal.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights, a very good experience, highly recommended for everyone. Hotel location is good, located on the busy section of Tamil Street, but the hotel room is quiet, inside the garden. Hotel pick-up is very good, it is very convenient to contact Ctrip in advance to arrange. The hotel service staff were very good, especially travel desk boy Bijen Dangol, who was humorous and helpful, and booked a two-day rental car and bus ticket for us. When we left the hotel to Chitwan, we left at 6am, and the hotel also prepared breakfast packages . The hotel's breakfast is rich and varied, very distinctive. The hotel has an elevator, which requires the upper and lower floors. The rooms are not too big, but the price is not high, and the cost performance is still high. The hotel is suitable for children. There is a two-car parking lot at the entrance of the hotel, which is not easy on Tamil Street.

I stayed here for a week on business and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is new, modern, with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hotel is well-maintained, has plenty of amenities including a spacious gym, wellness spa, pool and multiple options for food and drink. I had access to the M Club Lounge, which was always a pleasant experience and worth any extra cost. I usually started there for evening reception and would end up at the Raksi Bar for a final night cap and snack before bed. The turn down service was always a nice touch to come back to at the room. The Thamel Kitchen has the widest variety of food choices and was always a culinary experience. I didn’t get a chance to visit Edamame but will certainly do so next time. Finally I cannot say enough about the staff...they are INCREDIBLE! Every single one of them, and I interacted with probably close to 30 total, were all friendly and would go out of their way to ensure that I was taken care of and happy. I wish I could name them all but since I spent most time at the M Club Lounge I have to thank Neha, Dhiraj, Bimala and both managers Bijaya and Vicky for their consistently exceptional service. I am looking forward to returning again soon!

We stayed 6 days with Kantipur temple house with our family (parents + 2 adult children). It's a perfect peaceful place to stay in hectic Kathmandu as you can really rest here. No noice will interrupt you. The garden is beautiful, they offer yoga every morning here, and the service is excellent. We were here during colder evenings and every night our bed was headed with a warm pitcher. Breakfast every morning was also a little party, as they offer both traditional as luxurious options such as pancakes, toast, omelet, bacon and yoghurts. They arranged everything we needed and are extremely helpful throughout the hotel. The entire building is a dream, very photogenic and peaceful. Tip: bring your books and a camera here, as you will love to read here as well as to photograph this place.
