I used it at work. Check-in is after 10:30 pm, and the receptionist's response is a little unfriendly. There was no toothbrush in the room. I may tell you at the reception, but I don't know because there was no explanation. The room was large.

Felt welcomed by the hotel staff, shared rooms have properly divided beds. Fully equiped with basic amenities such as shampoo, body gel, towels, lockers... The lounge was full of books to read (tourism books, novels, manga...) and is tastefully decorated. Family-friendly place. Close to the local train line that travels to Miyajimaguchi harbour (Ferry to the island) in barely 6 minutes. Great experience overall.

It was great. It is a guest house in Miyajima. We stayed with 3 people. It was about 25000 yen a night. The room is very large !! I thought it was in a house. There was also a veranda in the room on the first floor. It is with kitchen ♪ There is also a counter seat, and it is not troublesome for a place to eat and drink. The service was outstanding. The detail to us was exceptional. The rooms were Great and extremely cosy. It was in December and it was cold and rained while we were there but the villa was a welcome back from our long walks around Miyajima. The staff were extremely polite and respectful. As for the food, it was buffet with oysters…. Say no more…… as much as you can eat, with the utmost respect. Free wine. I cannot get over the fried oysters and French bread, I could eat them for days. The Bakery was exceptional and the marbled bread was delightful. The only negative is, I would hate for be here in Summer as it would be jammed packed.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. It is a feeling that the old good old inn built by the sea near the bustling shopping street which is the main street is renovated for the present age, and the whole facility ~ the facilities in the room are unified and beautifully arranged It was a very nice inn where you can feel the old history in 々 while being able to feel it. There are many free services available only for guests. The hotel has a lounge with free drinks to enjoy the scenery in the lobby and the top floor, and there is also a service where you can choose multiple pillows and yukata according to your preference. There are plenty of drinks and sweets in the room, so I didn't have to worry about the expenses of fine beverages. This inn will respond as flexibly and pleasantly as possible to the wishes of the guests. For example, in our case this time, when we told our family in advance that there are people with bad legs, they can install a bed in a Japanese-style room, and change the basic dishes provided to each person's taste. Even if I was lost, I was able to make a flexible response and suggestion immediately, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The hot spring is in the basement, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only a large bathtub 1, and it is not so large, and the scenery is not good because it is in the basement. Compared to the hot spring resorts devised at this time, it may feel unsatisfactory, but it is clean and the temperature is around 40 degrees, so it is ”good old” while taking a long bath. I felt that it was a place to enjoy. It was stated that the quality of the hot water was slightly salty and smooth, and it was pumped and boiled from the source. I was able to take a comfortable bath without being squeezed or dry even by families with weak skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but some rooms have open-air baths with rooms, so I think you can choose according to your taste. What should be noted here is the wonderfulness of the food. The amount of meals varies or is insufficient depending on the course and price, which is often a big preparation at such a large inn, and the impression and quality of appearance are greatly different from the images on the site. Instead of having a sense of failure such as the dishes that were cold at the time of serving inn dishes, we were able to provide a wonderful dish of a more impressive level. This time we were in the room, and it was originally said that Masazen was the basic set, but 4 kind of seasonal course dishes (Masazen, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) with guidance on the site. I requested it at the stage of advance reservation and received everything with my family. There is no loss at all in every course, and the abundant ingredients unique to the land are carefully prepared, and all of them are very delicious, and the individual dishes requested by the order are prepared quickly. At the end, he made rice balls for dinner, which were full and could not be eaten, and he was able to provide a supreme time beyond the best. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall I received the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, but the amount was gradually appropriate and very satisfying. The seasoning is natural, healthy, and exquisite taste adjustment and appropriate temperature, which does not rely on artificial taste operations such as umami seasonings, while protecting the gentle flavor that makes the best use of the goodness of fresh ingredients. Submit It was served, delicious and very impressed. Even teens did not feel any dissatisfaction and were able to enjoy it until the end, and there was no problem with the temperature, seasoning, size and hardness of the ingredients for the elderly. I'm a diabetic Ⅱ type and I'm usually worried about my blood sugar level, but even if I eat this well 々, my blood sugar level rises calmly and does not soar as when I eat out. After 々 I was very surprised because I didn't feel sick. I think there are individual differences in how to feel the taste, but I hope it will be helpful.

Hotel location is OK, not far from the commercial street Miyajima Omotesando, about 10 minutes to the shrine. The suite booked is large enough and has a private soup. The pool is a stone product, it should be the kind of insulation performance. Common areas such as bathrooms, washstands, and beds are very hygienic and meet Japanese standards. However, the uncommon places such as coffee boxes and refrigerator tops are very bad, and dust has accumulated a lot. The most excessive is the sliding door of the shower, which can't be opened after closing, and the engineers have been tossing for a long time. We later realized that the one on the top of the refrigerator was not the kind that was used to suck the glass to pull up. Knowing that the glass door is broken, I would rather prepare a suction cup than replace it. The hotel is understaffed, and the front desk staff has to be a restaurant waiter at the meal time, which is actually not easy. In addition, the hotel breakfast and dinner are buffet, and the food is quite ordinary. There are many restaurants outside, so you don't have to order one berth or two meals.

I decided by looking at the photo of the open-air bath. The moment I went, I thought it was a little old, but it happened to be changed to a high-ranked room, and it was spacious and great. It was a room with 2 rooms, so I could sleep 2 people each by 4 people. It was large enough to sit at the table even if I laid a futon. I feel that there were two faucets in the washroom. There are also 2 toilets. It was nice to have something! Thank you very much. It's a full-fledged open-air, but it's really round. (If you stand up), but I want you to keep this spectacular view without blindfolding in the future! !! !! I just have to stand up! !! !! Really superb view. wonderful. I wanted to take a picture, but it was raining and I couldn't. I can't shoot normally. .. .. No, it's okay. The open-air bath here. You should take it. I climb the stairs outside from the usual bath, but what is it? I was surprised to think. It's the best. Rice, I love , so it's the best when served. Isn't it enough for people who like it? The pot of the pot. Also, whether it was breakfast or dinner, the rice was cooked in 々. (I'm sorry. I'm ambiguous because I stayed overnight, but I think it was a hotel here.) I felt that the rice grains were also delicious. The bath in the photo is another bath. But the best thing is the Marumie open air that I couldn't take. Overall, I think it was very good.

It is an impression that I stayed twice. It is important to choose a Japanese room. The Japanese room is divided into entrances, baths, toilets and rooms, so it is comfortable and I don't care about the noisy guests in the passage. The bathroom is comfortable because the washroom and bathtub are separated like home. If this room is a high season, the price of tens of thousands of yen is also convincing. The single room is a bed as soon as you enter the room like a chi⚪n hotel, and even if you open the window, the mountain side and the room window are lined up, so you can't raise the blind. Anyway, the feeling of pressure is so great as hell. Also, the voice of the guests in the passage is directly echoed. Noisy. Friday was crowded, but we were able to relax on weekdays. The staff is good. The night dishes come out with oysters and anako.

A resort hotel system at the end of Miyajima Guchi. Although it is a hotel from the Showa era, it offers a good location and heartfelt service across from Miyajima. Especially the restaurant food is delicious, so lunch is also recommended. In addition, at night, a pleasure boat leaves from the hotel pier and you can visit Miyajima from the top of the sea. The large communal bath changes in the morning and night. I also stayed on a school trip, but the place to eat and the large communal bath were completely separate, so I was able to spend a calm time. For dinner, enjoy the course at the sunset at the Italian restaurant. It was delicious with a light taste that made the best use of the taste of the ingredients, especially the local Hatsukaichi ingredients. Breakfast was served at a Japanese restaurant facing the sea. It is a buffet style and holds rice balls. Fresh ingredients and rich menu. I was able to enjoy it slowly. You can also book a family open-air bath. I was able to relax as a local affordable resort hotel. There is a gourd-shaped outdoor pool in summer.

I went for the purpose of Hiroshima ware and Miyajima torii gate after construction. The facility was new and the parking lot was large, especially the open-air bath was large, and the scenery was very good. The deluxe room was large and I was able to spend a relaxing time. Since the mother is famous for business hotels, the outlet for charging smartphones and the WIFI environment are also solid. The employees were also pleasant. Children and husbands enjoyed the shampoo bar in the bathroom. The service of beer and ice cream after the bath is good, but there are too many people there, and I feel like a luxury facility. . . but. Later, there were few side dishes for dinner Vikings, and it was blurred that my husband had nothing to eat. The sake was also a free drink, but the husband didn't seem to be satisfied because he couldn't drink. I wish I had a Hiroshima specialty oyster dish. I was satisfied with the breakfast with many rice, but I got tired of it because there was tempura for both dinner and breakfast. I think I was satisfied if I ate dinner with Miyajima souvenirs and stayed only for breakfast. Although it is a reservation system, it was a hotel that was working hard to pick up and drop off to Miyajima by a boat like a houseboat and free drink.

The location is super good, every morning and evening after dinner, you can take a walk to the big torii gate. The torii gate on the left is the Miyajima gate on the right. The front desk of the hotel is also very friendly. There is no problem with English communication, but Miyajima has Starbucks and some western styles. The restaurant, I feel that there is no need to add breakfast in the hotel, there is no problem going out every morning, the room is a bit small but there are all there, in general, the price is very good

The place is so nice, and the owner very kind. A nice guy - probably his son - takes care of the welcoming, and gives suggestions on the activities around the island. The house is very nice with a nice garden before the door and a big hall at the entrance full of many suggestive Japanese decorations and statues. On the left a big room full of sofas and other decorations and also tourist guides in many languages to help the guest, with tv and tables, and also a kitchen with cereals and juices for the guests to be used. Stairs take you to the rooms where you can experience how a Japanese ryokan is, with short tables, cushions on the floor, big windows and bamboo walls. The room has a initial anti room with a small table and a wardrobe where to store futons and pillows, and a second wider room enough for three futons, with other two short tables, and big windows over the entire island, with two big chairs and a small sink. The toilet and the showers are shared though, and for the bravest there is also a bath with hot water where to relax (but I do not know how and how many times do they clean it). I loved the atmosphere 🥰

This is a traditionnal japonese hotel (ryokan). We have never been to a traditionnal japonese hotel so it is tough to compare. All I can say is that our stay was very disappointing, First, there was some confusion regarding the reservation. Not clear if the issue was on my side or theirs. I had booked (or tought I had booked) room with view on the shrine and a private bath (onsen) in the room. At reception, we tried to find a solution but could not find any. So, we had no view. For the bath, there was a public one downstairs or a private one (outside) that you could reserve free of charge for 30 minutes. That 30 minutes was the highlight of our stay. We really liked it. The worst part was the room itself. I tought that we had one sitting area and one sleeping area. It turns out it is the same but converted at night. I knew that we would be sleeping on the floor but i had assumed that there would be some type of cushion. We had a very thin cushion and franckly, it felt the same as sleeping directly on the floor. Both my husband and I had very hard time sleeping and had backaches in the morning. The bathroom seem to date back 1960. The air conditioning unit was very noisy and had to be turned down. We had problems finding electrical outlets to charge our cell phones. The slippers provided to go to the bath were too small for us and quite uncomfortable. The bathrobes were ok. We had breakfast included. We chose western style. 3 possible times: 7;30, 8;00 or 8:30. it was ok. 1 egg, fruits, yogourt, toasts, apple or orange juice. One strange thing, we had a salad. I have never seen a salad at breakfast. Check out is 10:00 so, very early. Cleaning of close by rooms prevented us from sleeping in the morning, Note that the hotel is quite far from the ferry terminal and uphill. We had chosen to walk to get there. There is possibility to use a shuttle bus. We took it for return. So, not clear if my expectations were too hight or if this hotel is substandard for a Ryokan but all aI know is that our stay was very disappointing for us. We had 2 other stays planned at Ryokan elsewhere is Japan and we cancelled them. For dinner, please note that the majority of restaurants are not open for dinner as most tourists have left. Tourist information office was able to suggest some open restaurants at night.

Yesterday, at Miyajima sightseeing. Around 7:00 pm, my husband's stomach got sick while I was walking around the neighborhood with my family after dinner, so I came to the museum. After knowing my rudeness, I finally found a bright restaurant with almost no vacant places around. When my husband asked me if I could borrow the Mitobai, I was guided outside and ran. I have a four-year-old daughter, so I followed slowly. However, there was no streetlight and I walked for a long time in the dark, but my husband was not there. It seems that I went back to the road where I searched for a toilet earlier without being able to find the toilet. 4-year-old daughter, dark, no daddy, half lying. For now, head to Mizuhaso. I walked back with my daughter to ask where I had guided my husband who had asked about the toilet earlier. Then, an elderly woman with a strong make-up answered. I told you that it was located across the bridge. I told him that I looked for him but didn't meet him, but he gave me a cold attitude. I know it's rude, but I don't think I can handle that, imagining that I'll be looking for her again in the dark with my 4-year-old daughter. I felt cold. However, when a guest from his inn comes down, he changes his attitude and treats him kindly. To be honest, I felt scared. My daughter and I are looking for one more time. After all, I couldn't find it again, and my cell phone was out of charge, so I returned to the original. My daughter was looking for her dad while saying she wanted to go home. There were no streetlights and even I was scared. When I got back, my dad was looking for me too. I was relieved. When we talked about how it happened, my dad also said that it was just across the bridge and it seemed like he would miss it, so he desperately searched for it. However, I ran to the left side instead of the right side (the one I looked for with my daughter). We didn't go to the left side because it was really creepy. Then, there was something like a small hut, and it seems that it was a toilet. It looked dark and terrible. It seems that my husband also felt that it was terrible to guide there. If it's bright, it's still dark. For the time being, I was able to join and solve it, but it was so bad that I was worried about the word of mouth of the inn, so I looked it up. What a three-star hotel. It was also highly rated. It made me feel even more sad. I'm writing this review because I don't think it's a good thing to treat only guests. The correspondence here will lead to the next sightseeing, and if the correspondence is good, I will want to stay. I told my husband that I would never stay at that inn. It may be just one family, but it's important. Our family also traveled for the first time in a while in Corona. Coming from outside the prefecture, I was touched by the warmth of the people. However, I was also touched by this kind of coldness. If the inn sees it, I want you to think about serving customers again.

Although there was no mention on the official website, smoking is allowed on the terrace of the room. I don't like the smell of cigarettes, and this time I was traveling with my child, so when I found out that smoking was allowed, I thought about canceling, but it was already the time when a cancellation fee would be charged, so I gave up. When I was bathing in the open-air bath on the terrace, the smell of cigarette smoke from the neighboring room's terrace was indescribably disgusting. (The fact that you can smoke on the terrace should be clearly stated on your website, etc.) Luckily, the smell of cigarettes was only once, and after that I was able to enjoy the bath comfortably. The open-air bath in the room is very comfortable. The view of the sea during the daytime is also wonderful, but it was nice to take a bath in the middle of the night while looking at the stars. The public bath was good, but I was worried about the smell of the hot water, probably because of the circulation. I also enjoyed the food at the buffet. The live kitchen steak was delicious and the sashimi was fresh. There was an Onomichi ramen corner at night and an udon corner in the morning. The pajamas (black in-house wear) are only one size for adults and not for children, so I put on only the tops like a dress, but I think some people should bring their own. It seems that the number of yukata for children is small. I would like to stay again if there is no smoking on the terrace.

The hotel is located on a pleasant quiet street near Miyajima main street. The hotel is quite old, but it hasn't spoiled the impression at all. It was not usually sleeping instead of bed on tatami. On Miyajima, everything closes pretty early- on the first floor of the hotel there are water-free machines, cold drinks, beer, which was very convenient. Also the bath is running until 12 nights!

The location is very good, just a few minutes walk to the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Mt. Misen Ropeway station. There is a free shuttle bus station right outside the hotel to go the ropeway station. You can see the Torii throughout the hotel window. At night when the Torii with lights on, the view is stunning! The indoor onsen is not big but it's ok for 10+ people at the same time, the outside onsen is small and can only occupies 4-5ppl. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and thoughtful. I was fully wet after the hiking to Mt. Mismen on the raining day, they helped me to dry all my shoes and coat. Happy to stay at Iwaso and will definitely stay again.

If you ca n’t find the hotel name, you can see the photo below. After the hem ferry, let the hotel call the hotel at the information desk. It will send a car to pick you up. The neighborhood is large, with an indoor balcony, the bathroom is separated from the wet and dry, facing the sea, and the facilities are a bit dated. Dinner is the kind of kaiseki that is scheduled in the restaurant in advance, but each dish is super mini. Even the plate is not as big as a woman's palm. The dishes are as small as half a mouthful and the taste is not enough. It ’s only half a bowl of miso soup to fill up with the last bowl of rice. Girls are okay, men are not full. Fortunately, a small shop in the lobby has snacks and instant noodles, but it ’s full because there ’s no shop. Breakfast seems better than dinner. There is a small soup to make.

I first visited Miyijima in 2011, as a day trip from Hiroshima (like most people). This time I knew I wanted to stay for a couple of nights on the island - which proved to be a great decision as the island is so enchanting in the evening once most of the tourists have gone back to the mainland. Most of the accommodations on the island are Japanese in style, and so it’s an obvious place to get the full Japanese experience. Unfortunately I struggled a bit to find somewhere to book, as many traditional-style places don’t accept solo travellers, however the Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto did and so I booked it. I booked a Japanese/western style room, which had twin beds plus a large tatami mat area where additional guests could sleep on futons. The room was large, although the bathroom was very small. My room came with a large outside balcony area (by the looks of it only a couple of rooms get this - it’s not the norm) with a swing seat overlooking a side view to the Tori gate. This was a really lovely place to sit in the evenings. The staff were very helpful, and I had a lovely personal and detailed introduction to the room, which can’t have been easy for them to do in English! One of the main features of a ryokan-style stay is the food, which is plentiful, extravagant, intricate and (to us westerners) very unusual. They accommodated my request for no shellfish with no issues. You have to be a bit of an adventurous eater (by western standards) as many of the flavours and textures are very unusual. Not all were to my taste, which is to be expected, but regardless the meal was a fantastic experience that I will never forget. The second night was a completely different menu, which they tailored to my request to include more meat (the Hiroshima beef was delicious). I was served by some lovely ladies who explained each of the 12 courses to me. The Japanese breakfast is similarly extravagant, although I did opt for the western breakfast on my second day which was lovely. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a traditional ryokan-style experience on the island. I would certainly return to it.

Everything here starts with the service. Each and every person we came into contact with went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay possible. Advice in Japan is almost universally great. But this was next level to the point it is almost impossible to believe better service is possible. As an example there is a shuttle bus. Because the hotel is out of town a little this makes sense. Where it goes above and beyond is that the shuttle also runs at night so we could go back to town after dinner. A very worthwhile trip - by night things are so beautiful. In addition the meals were beautiful. A small thing, the dinner came with a menu which explained what each of the (approx 8) dishes are. To non-Japanese this was invaluable and heightened the experience. The room was lovely. Ryokan style. The position is lovely too. My wife enjoyed the hammocks! If you go to Miyajima treat yourself to a night here. You won’t regret it.

I arrived late on my arrival day and the staff told me they are closing the door 24.00 pm. It was quite a walk from the ferry terminal to the hotel (i guess about 20 min. walk with my luggage). Later i found out they have a free shuttle service -.- . Anyway staff at the reception and in the dining room were very nice and the room was ok. Everything clean as expected and a small Miyajima souvenir are waiting to be eaten^^. The bath area was small and good, as was the air in general on that island. After chek in you get a yukata and the key to your room. One thing i felt sorry about; Staff worked until 24.00pm, just to start working again at 5 a.m. .Thats not ok. As a result, an email i send earlier about changing my room was overseen. I am not mad about it, since i arrived late anyway. But for gods sake, let the staff at least get some rest between the shifts lol.

Your wife? It's a small hotel operated by two people. The response was kind and the impression was very good. The room was large and comfortable. However, the bath with the room is honestly small with a unit bus with a toilet. However, the large bath was released in the family bath (locked with the key when used), and it was able to take a bath with Yu 々. The lobby is a novel on the bookshelf, and it is quietly relaxed with self coffee while sitting on the firewood stove. I think the location is good on the street above the most crowded street.
