I stayed four nights at this hotel. The first night I was in a room on the first floor and I found it a bit noisy, street noiseThe next morning I asked if I could move to a quieter room and was told they were full but they would see what they could do. They asked me to pack up my things but as I had a planned excursion to get to I had no time to do so and told the clerk that was the case. And l left it at that. When I got back, much to my surprise they had moved me to a room on the third, top floor. They had also packed up my belongings for me and had actually put my toiletries and other items away in the same order I had left them. WOW The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The hotel was well maintained and the front desk staff was extremely friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. All their restaurant recommendations were bang on. They also researched and advised me what was the best way to get to where I wanted to go. The hotel itself was centrally located for me as I was wandering between the old town and the downtown, water front. If you want a good place to stay and be well taken care of you should stay here

We stayed here for 5 nights when we visited Thessaloniki. The location is excellent - a few metres from the Roman Agora and close to Ayios Demetrios church. The dates the 1920s and has been tastefully renovated - our room was bright and comfortable - there's a small kitchen area with a fridge and the en suite shower room was adequate for our short stay. The pillows and mattress are very good and the towels are too. Note - there are some steep steps up to the front door and then several steps up to the lift. We found our room (located on the top floor at the rear of the property) very quiet unlike a few other reviewers. The free wifi was excellent at all times. We communicated with various members of staff prior to arriving - emails were always answered politely and promtly. When we got to the apartments we also found everyone (including the lovely cleaning lady) helpful and friendly. We do have some minor suggestions to improve the experience for guests. There were insufficient hangers on the hanging rail within the wardrobe - we left several of ours. We were told on check in that the two coffee pods provided for the coffee machine were all we could have for our 5 day stay, same with shower gel etc. We had to pop out to buy shower gel and coffee (30ml of shower gel is insufficient for a 5 day stay for two). A few sachets of instant coffee topped up when the room is cleaned would be welcome - and if the price has to be a little higher to allow for replenishment (something one would expect at an establishment labelled 'luxury'), we for one wouldn't have been put off. Why provide a coffee pod machine and only two pods? The only other negative comment is that the shower tray was badly cracked. These are the reasons my mark is "Very Good" and not "Excellent". Having said that (this is supposed to be constructive criticism) we still think the price we paid good value. However, we had a very pleasant stay and we'd strongly consider returning should we visit Thessaloniki again.

5 points to the hotel, 5 points Ctrip service, 0 points to the agent. I made a wrong date. Although it is a single item that cannot be changed, Ctrip is very active in helping to contact the agent. It is fast and has excellent service. On the same day, I will pay for the check-in at the hotel. I will contact Ctrip to change the day of the wrong decision to tomorrow. However, the agent is running the train full of mouths. Tell me what the hotel says is no room, no change date. When can't we speak English? At the front desk of the hotel, people say that they can change. The agent said to ask again, the result is still the same, lying. I wanted to give up. After all, I was careful to make a wrong date. I spent another extra night, and the hotel said that I was wrong for a day. They changed the date directly to me! It is not expensive to pay for the hotel at the hotel, 65 euros, I would rather go directly to the hotel to book and not let the agent earn my money. This hotel is a small room, nothing else, good location, highly recommended! The breakfast was excellent.

We stayed 3 nights at Egnatia palace early July 2020 my 2 children and I. We have appreciated - the junior suite very convenient for 2+1 accomodation - room decoration original modern and brand new - location very close to Aristoteles plaza and a small market with some cheap and very correct meat restaurant - view on old Roman forum and park with a playground for children - the help from the desk - breakfast was all right served in the room due to covid 19 but all we wanted like a buffet. Products are average quality supermarket style. Small spa but very appreciated at the end of the day although the nice small 3x4m or so pool of the spa was closed On side of a very crowded road but good noise isolation. We are used to city centers so we can't complain about noise that seem no pb to us. Very good value for a fair quality 4 stars central hotel

One thing I liked about the hotel is the breakfast, although you had to pay €3, it was really worth it! The rooms are decent size, not too small or too big. Its about a 20 min walk to Aristoteles square and the harbour. One thing is that the shower is really small, but with the price you pay it is expected. Overall a nice stay! Will stay there again!

From the second I wearily walked into the reception area and was greeted by the lovely Agapi with a huge smile, friendly attitude and a gamut of useful information - I knew I'd picked the right hotel! The first thing to say about the place is that it's in an absolutely perfect location for all the things you might want in Thessaloniki... literally everything apart from the Old Town is pretty much within 10 minutes walk, including Ladadika (the nightlife area), Arch of Galerius, Aristotle Square, the seafront, Roman Forum, and a whole plethora of churches. Better still, for those going to/from the airport by bus (1X) then the hotel is just 5 mins easy walk from the relevant stops - very handy! Nearby to the hotel is all manner of banks/ATMS, supermarkets, restaurants, snack bars and bars... so no worries there either. The rooms are very chic and modern, immaculately clean and the aircon is super quiet (and efficient). There's no pool or real area for sunbathing, but the charming roof terrace on the top floor is where the lovely fresh and plentiful breakfast is served each morning by the super friendly staff. And that takes me back to the staff - alongside the location then it is the friendly and personal nature of the staff that really stand out at this place. Throughout my stay they would always address me by my name (a nice personal touch!) and would spend time chatting about how my day had been, as well making suggestions (and reservations) for the best local restaurants/bars... even resulting in a fun little competition to see how their "best" local seafood restaurant compared to "my" best one from earlier in the trip! It's not the cheapest hotel in the city, but it's definitely still reasonably priced - and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.... highly recommended. ps :- Thanks to all of the staff (especially Agapi & Stella) and keep up the good work!!

Hotel hidden in the alley. The room is relatively large, especially the bathroom, which is separate from the toilet. When you push the door, you can smell the faint scent of the bedding after washing. The operator’s design and decoration can be seen everywhere in the entire building. The breakfast exceeded expectations, and I was served with homemade rose sauce. The front desk is warm and friendly and provides all kinds of help and services at any time. A 10-minute walk from the central main street.

I was cycling around the Balkans and Greece when I stayed at this hostel. The location is brilliant (close to centre but quiet) and they have a courtyard where bicycles can be stored. The staff could not have been more welcoming. The facilities are superb and everything clean and working. Then I heard my father was dangerously ill and I had to take the first flight back home (Scotland). I had no choice but to leave my bicycle locked to a tree, handed the key to the staff and dashed to the airport, not knowing if I'd ever see my bike again. The owner of the hostel, Constantino, wrote to me to say, 'Don't worry about your bike, we'll look after it until you come back next year.' I am so touched by this kindness. I can't recommend this hostel, and the generous spirit of the owner, highly enough.

We loved the room, beautifully designed, clean and quiet! We have a balcony with a lovely view of the ocean. Because of where it was it meant not too much wind so we could easily sit outside and sunbathe. Good location although we didn’t even need to leave the place. We got a bit lost and the staff member on the phone was very helpful and sent somebody to find us. The only thing is that it wasn’t clear where we could park with the apartment but there are many places available for a daily fee.

We stayed in Mandrino Hotel on the 7th of August for one night. We thought that the amount we paid for the Suite was very decent amount. The room, as a Suite, was a bit small...compact. The jacuzzi was a fantastic touch and the view was OK. The only downfall was the noise during the night. We thought on the 9th floor would be quiet, but Thessaloniki is an alive city, isn't it! The receptionists were fantastic, extremely helpful and willing to sort out everything for us! The COVID measures that were taken were really good and kept everything professionally done! The breakfast was also good, considering the situation but super tasty!!!! We would love to come back soon! We would love to give you 4.5 but the system does not allow us. Thank you for everything!!!!! xx

Most Greek hotels seem rough around the edges and this is no exception. Plus any hotel with no wifi reception in the room (no. 110) should only be a three star. That said, the dinner was good as was breakfast and there is a cafe downstairs (price list attached). The local team POAK FC (#2) were playing Patathanikos (#4) and it was full with a big screen - POAK lost :( So all in all I would recommend but don't expect too many frills. Tip: If you can visit the tombs at nearby Vergina - fantastic!

Left feeling completely fed up after a 4 night stay here. I don't feel the hotel is the experience they paint on the website at all. 'Budget meets luxury?' more like 'Budget hotel at double the price'. First of all its not at all clear that there are 3 Colors hotels and that breakfast is served at another building, a short walk away. (the restaurant is good- great staff too) The room I stayed in was....OK. Overall pretty tatty. Cheap. Not worth 80euros, never mind 100 as it was on the weekends. And it's noisy. Really noisy. If you're here for work, as I am, then don't stay here. I was mainly just so disappointed about how little they did to make my unhappy stay better. Nice staff on the desk, but at a management level, they clearly don't care about their guests. I mentioned several times how noisy it was, the best they could offer was some cheap earplugs. On the final night I came back to find that the water would be turned off for the next 12 hours. So no shower. I was offered a bottle of water, some wet wipes and presented the bill. Hang on- isn't there something more you can offer here? Some better compensation to an unhappy customer than wet wipes!?? Apparently not. Came upstairs to find the room hadn't been made up, no clean cups........ wow. Colors I hope you read this and respond with some imagination. Frustrated with myself that I agreed to pay. Certainly won't be coming back here again.

Thessaloniki is an amazing city, and the experience at Limani Apartments was awesome. Prices was good. The local area looks run down and first glance, but when you stay there, you realise it is in a nice location near the port, convenient to catch a 5 minute taxi ride to the city centre for as little as 4 euro. The rooms are spacious enough and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, were fluent in English and Italian, as well as Greek obviously. They were happy to call around to find us a good deal for a rental car, which as a non-Greek speaker was extremely helpful. They were willing to store our luggage while we were away at Mt Athos (so we technically weren't guests of the hotel). They also helped with organising a taxi ride through friends of theirs at 5am for the trip to Mt Athos at a reasonable price. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in Thessaloniki.

We arrived to Thessaloniki without hotel reservation and most hotels were almost fully booked. We checked number of high-ranking hotels, but only this hotel was really high-class. The hotel located among many restaurants and has only two stories. The room and the bathroom are large and spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the service is excellent! An excellent stay and experience from the staff at the Mediterranean Palace Hotel. Centrally located, the MPH is one of the top hotels Thessaloniki has to offer. Friendly and professional staff, we had everything we wanted and all our needs were catered to and nothing seemed too difficult for the staff - the ladies at reception were particularly friendly and attentive. Breakfast options were excellent, they make amazing omelette I must say. Their freshly squeezed orange juice was one of my favourite things - yum! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We also visited the Aegeo Spa while there (quite a few times). With special thanks to Athena, Liza and Lueli for their professionalism, mannerism, bubbly personalities, a wonderful set of treatments (Cretan massages are a must) and especially getting the knots out of my shoulders :). Looking forward to my next visit at a location where Aegeo Spa operates for more!

`Le palace` isnt quite the most appropriate name for it, but it is very central and close to everything. Set on the main shopping street (Tsiminski) the shops are very close to hand. The entrance is almost behind a periptero (kiosk) on the main street. The fab eating area of Ladadakia is just a couple of minutes walk away and this is lively, has great food and the prices are reasonable. The sea front, with its bars and restaurants is just a few minutes walk. The Agora (market), Aristotelous Square and the White Tower are also within walking distance. We took a bus from the White Tower (number 200 I think) for an hour`s trip around the city to get orientated. It cost 2 euros and, although the commentary wasnt synchronised it did help us get a feel for the city. The hotel wasn`t plush, and was noisy (our room faced the main street), but the beds were very comfy, the place was clean and the staff were helpful. If you are visiting Thessaloniki for a two or three days stay and want to see everything quickly this hotel is ideal.
