0.28km from downtownThis is a beautiful modern hotel full of class, charm and warmth. A fabulous apartment hotel in a lovely part of St. Petersburg. I stayed three weeks and would love to come back. Not only the quality of Grand Canyon accommodations is superior to other hotels in the same category, the price I paid was unbeatable, a fraction of what it would cost to pay for other top hotels in St. Petersburg. I booked early and I received a 50% discount. No accommodation in St. Petersburg comes close to Grand Canyon Hotel in terms of ratio quality/price. Book well in advance and you will get a real bargain! However, you need to book directly with the hotel on their website or by contacting them in order to qualify for their big discounts, not through Booking.com or other sites. I have travelled across Russia and stayed in many hotels, this is by far the most comfortable and well serviced hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s located in the northern part of St. Petersburg, yet only a few subway stops to Nevsky Prospekt. The location couldn’t be more perfect. The hotel is a 10-minute walk to the metro station Prospekt Prosvescheniya, from which it’s easy to go anywhere in St. Petersburg. The studio was immaculate and well maintained. Everything oozes quality, high standard of cleanness and attention to detail. The modern furniture was comfortable to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. The studio size is excellent for a single traveller and sufficient for a couple to feel comfortable. Having a kitchenette was a blessing and saved on meal costs during my stay. It’s perfect for cooking, and well stocked with high quality appliances and cookware. It had a decent sized fridge, not one of those silly tiny fridges that can barely fit one sandwich, this is always a major plus for me. All dishes, glasses, coffee cups and utensils were sparkling clean, as well as the countertop, stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave and kettle. The studio was spacious, bright, airy and spotless; and the decor modern, fresh and tasteful. The bed was very comfortable, it had freshly laundered sheets without stains, plus it had the best pillow I have ever slept on. The unit had a wall mounted flat screen TV, a keypad depository safe which comes in handy, a free Wi-Fi and a nice balcony on which I enjoyed watching the city. The bathroom was modern, well-designed and spotlessly clean, it contained a hair dryer and plenty of clean towels. The shower was super powerful—a must have for me. There was an ironing board with an iron in the hallway for hotel guests on the same floor to use. A restaurant in the lobby area had a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. This fabulous apartment hotel is the perfect choice for independent travellers seeking a home away from home in St. Petersburg. Indeed, the place really gave a cozy, warm and welcoming feel. The hotel is a 2-minute walk to a huge supermarket called Lenta, open 24 hours, on ulitsa Simonova, 13. A very convenient supermarket with
0.35km from downtownI had stayed in ye’s apartments over a year when i moved to saint petersburg for my study. As a foreigner it was a smart choice for me.finding an apartment in spb could be pretty hard when you consider immigration regulation and language barrier. Also there wasn’t a big price difference renting an apartment from an owner when you consider real estate agency commission and other stuff. The rooms are well designed and comfortable;king size bed, study desk, kitchen equipments, lots of storage units and wardrops that you won’t be able to fill half). Overall, it was clean safe and secure, 24 hours there is receptionist and security crew. The location is great 5 min walk to subway. Administration was very helpful, people who speaks english and helping you to solve the problems professionally that occur during your stay. I will definitely consider staying in the same place when i arrive spb next year. Only downside was when it comes to pay rent or utilities, it is either with cash machine or with bank transfer(which with russian banks, it was a challenge for me), but thanks god they were helpful and helped me to do it every month. I am grateful for it. I hope that in the future they will change their system and accept card payments.

2.43km from downtownThis hotel is very old, the rooms are too old and the pillows are terrible. I don't even want to write about the swimming pool and spa area, everything is old and dead, all the tiles are peeling off, the paint on the battery is off, in general, everything is old. There is no parking space, everything is always busy and the internet is weak. The door in the room does not read, it feels like you are not in the room but sleeping in the corridor. Another point is that the hotel’s spa area is rented out to children and coaches. There are only 3 tracks, but when two of them are rented out, it can’t go anywhere. That is, the price of the room includes a spa area, but you only have children when you come. What's in the jacuzzi, what's in the two-lane swimming pool. For you, there is only one pool path, where hotel guests can swim for 5-6 people. Well, you know, it’s really not that relaxing. You go to the jacuzzi, there are many children. In other words, there is no place for hotel guests, which is an excellent hotel concept. These children also have a coach, habal, who is the hamat of hotel guests. That's why I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. If people gather together, the red price per person per day is 500 rubles. For such rudeness and attitude towards guests.
2.89km from downtownThe hotel is located in the Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg, next to the Park. Excellent transport accessibility, developed infrastructure and proximity to several metro stations — Ozerki, "Academic", "Polytechnic", "Parnassus", are also our advantages. The hotel offers 24 rooms of different comfort level: Luxury, Deluxe, double and single rooms.
Hotels Near Health Centers In Saint Petersburg Review
Agree with all daggle’s comments. Had the same initial problem wth keys and courtyard door but staff very helpful even late at night. Made our own way from airport via bus and metro but can phone/email hotel in advance if need a taxi ( French couple charged exhorbinate price for airport taxi when the receptionist would have booked one to meet them at a much reduced cost). Bright airy room cleaned daily and had everything we needed. Ok the gated area, stairs and lift are not 3star but similar to those in any other Russian apartment block.Great value. Look out for good restaurant Toscana on the corner of the street and use as guide to find hotel for the first time. Enjoy your stay we certainly did.
I stayed at the Karelinn hotel with my wife and 9 month old son. We had a room with a kitchenette which was a big plus because we had a place to wash his bottles and warm up food before and after each touring day. The service was excellent. The receptionist helped with finding a taxi with a baby seat, getting a crib for the room and small things like ordering a pizza etc. The room was relatively big which was nice for my son as he had a space to crawl around in. The location was pretty good too with Cafe's and restaurants at walking distance and a grocery store right next door. A bus stop right outside the hotel helped us to get to the main attraction in the city. The room was clean and on the first floor so getting into the room with a baby stroller was only 5 steps away. The hotel rooms are inside a gated area that requires a code to enter which gives a feeling of security.
Hotel is an amazing deal at the given cost. It's an only 10-minute walk away from downtown and Hermitage Museum. Staff is very friendly too.
A super good experience must be shared and recommended:
The street frontage is located on the 4th floor of a building. When you find the door, you need to press the button to open the door. You can go up the stairs or take the elevator with a sense of age.
The room is clean and spacious. Leave the key at the front desk every day, and someone will help clean it.
The main point of praise is the buffet breakfast, which is rich in food: bread, omelet, oatmeal, flower tea, coffee, apple, milk, yogurt. . Enough to eat to start a day's runaway. The cutest are the chocolate and nougat snacks available all day, super sweet!
The beautiful little sisters at the front desk are also patient and have good quality. They work in shifts. They are responsible for the reception and breakfast. They also clean the dishes and add water to the coffee machine. They are really multi-functional positions, but they are doing well and refreshingly, not at all. Frantic.
If you have the opportunity to visit Russia for the second time, I still want to live here!
A friend and I recently stayed for 2 nights. Our room was small, but comfortable and very clean. We appreciated the heated bathroom floor for our January visit. Breakfast was included and it was excellent. You can order a main course and type of coffee from the menu and then add from the small buffet (croissants, breads, granola, yogurt, cottage cheese, butter and jams, salad fixings). We loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. Faces is located just steps away from the Hermitage end of Nevsky Prospekt street, close to St. Isaacs Cathedral and the Hermitage. We had ordered twin beds, and they were on the small side (not what we North Americans would call a twin) but rather more cot-sized. For us not a problem, but for someone with a large build, a bit small. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel based on value, location and cleanliness.
We have stayed here many times. It is actually a Bible College and Conference Center that serves a dual purpose as hotel. It is gated and fenced with round the clock security guards. The rooms are simple but adequate. Small sove, microwave, fridge, much as you would expect in married student housing at a small university. Very quiet. It is in within walking distance of one of the main metro/subway lines, shopping and restaurants .
It was not the first time we chose this hotel for a few days off in St. Petersburg. The staff is super nice, always ready to help any time of the day! The service is amazing. They have a delicious restaurant and room service is fast and convenient. We had breakfast there every day and enjoyed it so much! It’s always delicious with a wide range of food to choose from! Also, during the pandemic the hotel feels extremely safe to stay in! All the necessary recommendations are being followed. It’s very clean. The hotel is also extremely stylish: starting from the modern hall with amazing lighting and comfortable beautiful chairs, ending with bathrooms and rooms that are beautiful! The place is located in the city center, so you can walk around most beautiful streets of SPB. Near the hotel you’ll find a Summer Garden. Because of the good location of the hotel - the taxi everywhere is rather cheap. And you can avoid most of the traffic! Highly recommend!
The hotel is very nicely located close to the main avenue Nevsky Prospect and to a couple of metro stations. It is also located on the Fontana river although not overlooking it. The walk from the riverside to the hotel (2min) leaves an impression that you’re entering a not so nice area and the door to the hotel is tucked away with a small sign on the door. The set of steps also confirms that same impression. Don’t be fooled by that however, once you enter, the hotel the room are nice and spacious with all the facilities you need and a recently renovated bathroom of excellent quality. The room she confirm the hotel’s 3 stars rating.. with its location, it’s an excellent place to stay. Breakfast is modest but is sufficient to start your day. By far the best thing about the hotel I stayed the service of the various receptionists who rotate on a 24 hours basis. They are friendly, helpful and will do anything to make your stay a comfortable one.
The place is perfect! The only sad thing is that we did not know the door code... The personnel is welcoming and nice - we left our luggage in the morning and we were allowed to use a rest room, what was very kind of them! There is a good kitchen we could use.
If you take the time to read all of the details about this apartment in the center of St. Petersburg then there is absolutely no way you could be disappointed! I read the negative review about this property on TripAdvisor and I felt that she was unnecessarily negative. The home is literally in the center of the city on a busy street, so you should expect some street noise from time to time. The outside of the building does not seem very impressive, but once you walk into your living space you’ll find that it is exactly as photographed. The kitchen area has a washer and dryer for clothes, a stove top with four burners for cooking plus a microwave. There are basic pans, utensils and culinary for you to use but you will be washing the dirty dishes yourself. This should not be a surprise if you read all of the details provided in the advertisement. This is more like living in an apartment then sleeping at a hotel. I honestly can’t find a negative thing to say about this cute living space which is meticulously maintained. I am within walking distance of more than 100 restaurants and some of the best sites Peter has to offer. I encourage you to give this a try if you’re here to visit and live amongst the people versus vacationing as a pampered princess at some hotel 30 miles away. To me, this is the better deal all the way around.
It was a pleasant stay in the hotel. The hotel is just behind of the church. It is very close to subway station and boat cruise as well. Breakfast is good.
The location is very good, it is convenient to go to the subway station and Nevsky Avenue after going out for about 400 meters.
Quiet location in a busy area.
I am from Indonesia and first time traveling to St Petersburg. My opinion for the hotel is. Inexpensive, clean and comfortable hotel. At winter, room comfortably warm, hot water working perfectly, clean room and bath room. Very nice and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed. Only little drawback is wall sound insulation, but for me it is not a big issue, because majority of guests isn' t noisy. Overall i am very satisfied. :-)
Just have nothing to say good hotel
The room is spacious and bright, there is a restaurant, it is too convenient, the opposite supermarket can buy fresh food, you can cook rice, pots and pans are all available, the front desk attendant is very warm, coffee tea with drinks, room waiters intimately stacked pajamas Too warm, super good, shopping is also convenient, two major shopping malls are next to
Lovely new cozy mini hotel 5 minutes walk from metro Chernyshevskaya. Staff is super friendly. Delicious breakfasts. Very clean.
First time in St Petersburg and we picked this really wonderfull place. Located in a very convenient spot for sightseeing either on foot or by metro, this was one of the best accommodations we ever had worldwidely. Clean and cosy room, very nicely decorated, with a beautiful yard, in which you can enjoy your drink or coffee. The rooms are very quiet, the neighbourhood is amazing and of course safe. Many nice cafes and restaurants are in the vincinity and the metro station is three blocks away. The staff is really helpfull and friendly: Igor, Olga, Tatianna, Dmitry and the rest made our staying there unforgettable. We shall certainly meet again in our next visit in your heroic and beautiful city! Spashiba for everything, best regards from greece, Anna, Kostas.
Pros: location, absolutely. Rooms are clean, furniture cheap but new. Excellent breakfast. Cons: The hotel is located inside a business centre: there is no lobby, no lobbybar, no rest area. The reception ladies are not trained to be customer-oriented. They seem to be fired from a soviet theatre and hired at this hotel, all of them. Talking to customers as if we are a disturbance to their vacation. Never told me there is a minibar in the room: I never even imagined there was one but they asked if I used it at checkout. Keys get demagnetized, customer is to blaim, of course. Unfriendly attitude in general. Aircon never gets cleaned: you can feel strange odor every time you switch it on. Complained, was told that a technician ''will see it on Monday" but I left on Sunday. Amenities really cheap. Toilet paper: two rolls for three days for two people. Bedside lamp burnt out: complained by email, email receives by reception (they confirmed), never got a reply, never fixed.
The apartment hotel was very large with a large living room with TV and open kitchen with cooker, fridge, oven and toaster. The living room has two sofas where someone could easily fit onto, they are both very comfortable. The bedroom has a large double bed with clean sheets that get changed daily. The bathroom had a fancy power shower unit that is multifunctional and can give you a 'jungle shower' experience ie water from all sides. The apartment also includes a modern washing machine! In addition, it has a balcony AND two air conditioners, one for each room. Locationwise its about 7 min walk from the nearest tube station. However, because taxis are so cheap (use the 'yandex taxi app' which is the uber russia joint venture) just call taxis to go anywhere! This place is HIGHLY recommended! You won't find anything even close to this quality at this price. We paid approximately £45 per night.
You could not get more helpful staff, in particular Alexandra and Anna. They managed to find out all kinds of practical information, very useful hints, taxis, transfers, tickets to the Mariinsky etc., much better than the Tourist Office. Breakfast is served in a large corner room that used to be the grand old restaurant where the litterati met. Books, photos, music instruments etc attest to the hotel's artistic associations. NOTE: Although the official address is Malaya Morskaya 13, the entrance is round the corner, a wooden door with a bronze plaque and a keypad. Don't be put off by the smelly entrance hall. The hotel is on the first floor on your left. There is a cosy restaurant round the corner, MESTECHKO, well worth the visit, and Sicaffé also nearby serves light meals, cakes and home-made ice cream.
Level "one hour apartment", but no hotel 4 stars
The hotel is not big, the location is okay, and the sanitary conditions are good, that is, you must not put cash in the hotel, thinking that there is no place to spend RMB in the hotel, when you come, there is 2,000 RMB in your wallet, and there is less time to leave One thousand, everyone must bring cash with them
Hotel is very cozy. Quiet place in historical district. 5 min to the subway, 5 min to the nearest grocery, 5 min to Mac and different street food places. Several rooms on one floor - less neighbours - less noise.Tasty simple breakfast, and the most friendly staff, I have ever seen. The only negative thing is the noise of trams ! Well done!
My husband and I stayed at the apartment at the end of May. This turned out to be a very good choice. The apartment is well located, about 10 minutes’ walk to Moscow railway station (very convenient if you’ve come from Moscow, or are going there). 10 minutes also to the metro and just 5 minutes to the bus stop for buses which will take you to Nevsky Prospect. Very near a nice the bakery, several grocery stores for daily necessities, and the Gallery shopping centre. The apartments themselves are very high-quality – very nice bedding, towels, bathrobes slippers etc, just like an upmarket hotel, and spotlessly clean. The apartments are located on three floors above each other in the house, which is located in the courtyard. To be precise, in the 2nd courtyard. From the street you enter through the gate under the arch into the 1st courtyard, then through another gate to the 2nd courtyard. The gates are kept closed, as is common practice for St Petersburg courtyards of this type (only the inhabitants know the gate codes), Both courtyards are clean. In the 2nd courtyard, where the apartments are we saw lilac flowers and blossom. Once in the flat you cannot hear noise from the street. The entrance is clean. There is no elevator, but I didn’t notice the inconvenience, the manager who met us helped us upstairs with our suitcase. The two managers we met both spoke good English, are friendly, and always ready to help. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in St. Petersburg. If we go again, we’ll certainly stay there.
This small hotel is a true gem in the heart of downtown. Spacious, clean rooms, large bathrooms, wonderful people and tasty food. Location is the best- you find yourself in downtown walking distance to Peteropavlovskaya krepost and other attractions. 3 subway stations are 5 min walking distance and taxi is just a call away. I was shocked by how cheap taxi is. Multiple world class restaurants and plenty of shopping destinations are on Bolshoi prospect which is literally 2 steps away from this hotel. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit St Petersburg.
Like Moscow its cheaper to not stay in the centre of town and enjoy a vibrant local neighbourhood. Its an easy walk across the bridge to the main tourist attractions or stroll to the metro. We had the only room with a balcony overlooking what is aquiet street and park. Room wwas spacious and clean and bathroom had a heated towel rail. There are no english channels on the tv. If you have mobility issues this hotel is not a good choice as there is not lift and all rooms are upstairs. Breakfast is on the ground floor in the Mary restaurant and is ok for a hotel of this size. We ate at the restaurant for other meals a couple of times. Food is excellent but expensive. We are not big eaters and russian portion sizes are not generous but they were shrunk too much here. Got hungry later in the evening and had some instant noodles. A first. By contrast the portions at the georgian next door are gargantuan. A cute place that we woild stay at again because we love the feel of the neighbourhood.
This hotel is highly recommended, first of all in a good location, 5 minutes walk from Nevsky Prospekt and 5 minutes drive from Moscow Station. Secondly, the hotel is very warm. There are water dispensers, small biscuits and black tea bags in the public area. The breakfast is very rich and the yogurt is very good. Only English words will be available at the front desk, preferably using translation software. Finally, there is an extra charge for temporary residence permits.
