Great location spoilt only by the external building site during week days. Nothing to do with the hotel. We were allocated an inner courtyard room with unattractive view but a good choice for a quiet nights sleep. Everywhere was clean with a large locked room by reception to store luggage after check out. Only the many church bells disturbed us! Staff were accommodating and breakfast terrific - fresh sliced fruit and plain omelette (on request) - unusual in our experience for a 3 star hotel. Coffee especially good and hot. Plenty of seats and table even at peak times. We stayed with a group of friends who all endorse these comments.

The location of the hotel is very good, just 2 minutes walk from the cathedral, 5 minutes walk from the central station, and 5 hours on the shopping street. The location is very good. It’s just that health needs to be improved. Because I am allergic and I am allergic to it, I have to take medicine to get through.

Cleanliness: good, prompt cleaning and good service Facilities: It feels pretty good, and it also has a USB socket. Service: The blond beauty at the front desk is very beautiful and the service is very patient. She translated for me even if she didn’t speak English👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. I’ve had a wonderful stay at the Rescidence Hotel. Staff was very friendly and kind, the room was clean and there was enoough space for 2 persons. The bed was a bit hard for my preference but we stayed for just two nights so it was ok. The location of the Hotel was perfect, between the bars/pubs and the centre. Allthough the busy environment, we were not bothered by noise. I would definitely visit this Hotel if i’m going back to Köln.

Very characteristic small hotel, almost in line with all my expectations for small local hotels in Europe. Convenient location, you can see the cathedral by opening the window; walking to any attraction in the old town is very close; there are no elevators on the fourth floor, only two of our rooms on the fourth floor, very quiet, simple and comfortable decoration of the duplex room. The family of four is just right; the bathroom has a bathtub, the breakfast is very cute; the service guy is very nice, reserved the parking space for us, the parking lot walks to the hotel for five minutes; met the carnival, the day we walked the city, the lovely Cologne .

This centrally located hotel room is really good value. We had a room that backed onto the back quiet space, which was perfect in a busy area. Bells in the morning from various churches was magical! That said, no air conditioning. We didn't really miss it much as the evenings were cool, we opened the windows and noise was next to nothing. Breakfast setting was good but more minimal than many. However, we were well refreshed every morning for our exploring. Although not formally set up with a baggage room, they were more than happy to store for a period of time.

The hotel is right next to the Cologne Cathedral, and there is a great restaurant downstairs, next to the train station, the traffic is very convenient. The room you stayed in was very spacious and you could spread out your suitcase at will. Drinks in the minibar are free and good value for money. The reception staff were friendly and happy to answer questions. The bellmen are also friendly. Parents stayed very satisfied.

Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. Splendid Location Situation a few minutes walk from the train station and the main city area, is this hotel definite one of the most strategic location in Cologne. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. In diesem Hotel sind die Mitarbeiter:innen nicht nur freundlich sondern auch hilfsbereit. Diese Motivation ist leider eine Seltenheit auch bei den Luxus-Marken von Accor. We were at five in the apartment AM1, which is really top. I would like to begin with the positive, namely that the apartment is ideally located directly in the old town of Heu market with a metro station in front of the door, and is also sufficiently spacious for five people. Now to criticism: the staff appeared not to have finished with the cleaning, the key was given to us by a cleaning force and we entered a apartment with a still running washing machine and a sticky floor in the upper floor. In the course of the evening it was cold in the apartment, we had to find that the heating was defect and even warm water was not available. Telephone had several times nobody to reach until I went to the hotel just ten. There was closed at both doors, there was no doorbell, I knocked on the windows. Contact with the staff is no longer possible after nine! The next morning at eight, I returned to the hotel, where the young receptionist apologised hundred times. She had already read our email with the problem description - but there was no reaction. She promised that in an hour someone would come for heating. After two hours we called to ask ourselves, as no one had yet appeared. She said that no one could come, it was a ”problem of the city” we can do the hotel - but only at 12:00! After I pressed, she promised to call the boss. Suddenly they could send a craftsman, so the first statement was apparently lied. They didn't want to take care of it, but at once it went, and in 30 minutes the craftsman was there. Unfortunately, too late for us, we had to leave a short time. After all, the guests will be able to shower after us. The ”chef” was only on the afternoon, so I came back to present my complaint to him. He kept the finger of the mouth and made ”pszt”, what I felt very respectless. In general, he seemed little interested in what I had to press, shed next to his calendar and talked to other guests. I was angry, so I had never been treated in a ”hotel”! We asked us for a part of our money. The receptionist was ready to give us 10% of the price of ”thirty euros”. I advocated that we had paid 400 euros (a ridiculous price) for the night, 10 percent are 40 euros. He agreed, but made the condition that we should give him in writing and confirm with our ID number that we are not writing bad reviews. This person was unhellable, disinterested and respectless. We didn't enter the deal. I am very disappointed and angry. In the sense of the guests I hope that something changes in the future with regard to service. By the location the hotel would have been

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights for business in May. The hotel is pretty new - I think less than 2 years old. The rooms are quite big, with full kitchen amenities (fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, full set of glasses. The surprise was there was no kitchen roll for cleaning - all the apartments of these types of hotels have some cleaning paper. The location is very close to Koln Messe Deutz station, and we made easy travel arrangements by train to the Dusseldorf fair. The room is clean, the windows are opening (a big plus), and the façade is quite modern. The hotel is quiet, especially since my room faced the open courtyard, which was super quiet, even sleeping with open windows. Breakfast is OK, nothing spectacular, and I think a bit overpriced for the 23 EUR per person. The only problems we had were with sporadic services and some items in the room malfunctions: I had electricity problems with the power supply (caused by a defect in the dishwashing machine which could not be switched off - The fuse went off). I had a problem with the telephone. For every problem, I had to drag to the reception (unable to talk on the phone). The coffee in the room was delivered in the first few days, the next 2 days, and there was no new coffee pack (to make your French press). One day I did not have big towels delivered (the housekeeping did not replace the used towels on the bathroom floor, and I had to go to the reception to ask for them. I would give that hotel 3 stars, but the best surprise was the super fast internet connection (free). We had 200 MB/sec, perfect for surfing and streaming.
