Easy to locate place on Google Maps. Not sure about parking options as we did not require it. 4-5min walk from bus stops on either side. Around 10min walk from Aljunied MRT. Lots of food joints nearby along with departmental stores. Check in was super smooth. They require SGD10 (refundable at check-out) deposit during check-in. Unfortunately we did not have any cash during check-in. However they allowed us to check-in and collected the deposit later during evening. It was a nice and warm experience. Rooms were of standard size, albeit a little big compared to Singapore size for the price paid. Since we were staying in Singapore for 7 days, we were looking for a room with window so that natural sunlight could come in. This was the only one in our budget. Bed was big and very comfortable. Room also had a moderately sized wall mounted TV with working channel subscriptions, dressing table setup, two chairs with a round table, bed side reading lights, a mini fridge, tea-coffee maker set and a wardrobe. Washroom had 24x7 running hot and cold water. Toiletries and basic morning kits were also provided. Room service was available upon call or you need to inform the reception in the morning. Hotel staffs were polite and professional. They also agreed to let us keep our luggage at the store room as our return flight was at night. They also provide daily water (2 small sealed cups of around 250ml each) and ready to make coffee per person. Overall it was a great experience for our 7 days of stay at Bright Star Hotel. Absolutely safe place, lots of options to have food in the surrounding at a very reasonably price. Highly recommended.FromUS$42.00

Although the hotel is said to be in the red light district, Singapore is very clean as a whole, so the hotel is still relatively clean, and there is a food street nearby, so you can have something to eat at night. The room is a relatively standard single room, one bed can sleep two people. There are also bus stops and subway stations nearby, which are more convenient and generally more cost-effective. It’s just that girls don’t go out alone at night, it’s best to be accompanied by boys, because there are more Indians and Muslims there. The hotel is actually the same as the photo.FromUS$38.00

By coincidence my Singapore trip took place exactly during the Formula 1 weekend. Difficult to find a suitable place and finally ended up here, at the Amazing Inn. Renovation seems in progress already for a long time, so the entrance was a bit messy. Super friendly staff, very helpful. Tiny room but with comfy bed, coffee and tea making facilities, small but clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. Once a checked out, nobody was able to hand me the bill. I asked the lady to send it by email. Even before I arrived at the airport they sent me a copy already. Surroundings at night a bit scary. Illegal cigarette dealers in front of the door and plenty of massage parlors and 'love stores'. In short: I enjoyed my stay here in this cozy place. Will be back for sure.FromUS$62.00

we understand the cheap rate - it goes with it the tiny room, dirty and peeled off wallpapers, dusty tissue dispenser, fluctuating wifi, unchanged linens/towels and unkempt floor/toilet for three consecutive nights that we stayed there. the complimentary bottled water was never replenished. what we don't understand was the rudeness the receptionist displayed when i could not access their wifi. he blamed my fone right away and offered an unsolicited advice to have it checked at a nearby service station. it turned out he mispronounced the password and even snatched back the minute piece of paper where the password was written but was supposedly given to their guests anyway. there was no other staff to help us out in bringing our stuff to the third floor. there was no elevator. a helper would have compensated for the trouble. i should have noted the reviews for this hotel before i clicked that confirmation button. When the hotel has approved for Staycation, then I booked to stay. I was shocked there are many small table in-front of the rooms along the corridor. It is same to all floors. The table was served for food and drink. Then I realized Plenty of guests were there for stay home notice. It made me feel unsafe to overnight there. Luckily both myself and partners are safe after stayed.

This is one of the must bk hotel 81, its within close proximity to great food paradise despite is located in the heart of red light district... clean, nice deco n design n relatively new looking compare to other old n dirty hotels near by. Down side is quite noisy when pple walk pass cause its room is small n not sound proof.. Overall 4* of u r not fussy for short stay. FromUS$39.00

it is an average hotel but a bit expensive. Located in a good area and bus stop is just 2 mins away. There are no fridges in the room or any kitchen in the hotel. Looks like just a 8 floor building. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean. Shower and the bathroom was clean, there was always a hot water. Rooms are not soundproof so if you look for quietness, you need to request a quiet room otherwise you would end up with noise next to your door. Some guy was listening loud music and it was like in our room. Elevator works well and cleaning stuff is doing a good job. There are amenties in the room and they provide you fresh bottled water. There is no wardrabe or saftey boxh in the room. Smoking is NOT prohibited so rooms smell cigarette. Internet works well.FromUS$32.00

Due to travelling restrictions, my husband and I are confined to looking for staycation as our honeymoon after we got married this year. We had a really enjoyable stay in Shangri-la. We requested for earlier check-in at 12PM and was told that it will be subject to availability. When we arrive at the hotel at around 12PM, we were pleasantly surprised to be told that we are given a free upgrade to Valley Wing Deluxe Room and given access to the exclusive lounge with drinks, high tea and canapés available for us.
We had our dinner later on at Waterfall Restaurant which was part of the package that we bought on Trip.com. The 3-course meal that we had was really delicious with great atmosphere as we were seated outdoors at the pool side.
The service provided to us was impeccable. Perhaps the only small downside is the accessibility of the hotel if you don't drive. We pretty much stayed in the hotel during our entire trip so it wasnt really a big factor.
Would love to visit Shangri-la again in future :)

I booked for my fiancé's birthday and in lieu to celebrate New Years. Firstly, early check in was given as to prevent the crowd during the New Years Eve. Very smart move made by the hotel which I am very thankful for! It helps to control the crowd.
Trip.com has emailed me to WhatsApp the hotel as were told by the hotel to request for early check in. Replies by the hotel staffs were fast too!
After checking in, I called to reserve the pool but it was sad I could not go as it was raining! The room was rather small but that's fine by me! The shampoo and body wash given smells nice! I usually do not use hotel's shampoo/bodywash but this hotel's toiletries was quite nice! The view from the toiler was not bad too! You need to of course close the blind to have a private shower. Was given free macaroons delivered by the robots to my room as it was my fiancé's birthday! Super kind gesture made by the hotel staffs! We were super touched!
The next day, when I went down to pick up my breakfast as I choose to take away(can select to dine in or take away), the staff could not find my breakfast order as my breakfast order was misplaced by one of the staffs (the one I gave my order sheet to) But that's okay because I did not mind waiting for them to pack my food again.
I was also granted late check out!
Overall, pleasant stay! The team was all very friendly and approachable. Thank you!

Booked 3 rooms for family staycation. I would like to thank Ms Dillah and Mun kind assistance in arranging an earlier check-in for the 2 rooms. Front desk staff are all friendly and helpful.
The room is spacious and clean. Water pressure of the bathroom is good!
However, I was kind of disappointed that the club lounge did not open. Nevertheless, they do send food and drinks to our room at 6pm, and will refill our drink every 45mins. The lady that serve the drinks and the guy that serve the food was very nice and friendly. The food (chicken chop with truffle mash potatoe) is DELICIOUS, and the white wine (requested during 2nd serving) they offered is nice!!! But didn't had chance to ask what is the brand, as I left the room after 2nd serving. Not sure how long they serve the drink, I guess till 7:30pm?
Great location, so we can easily bring our parents to Haji lane to walk around and feel as though we are on vacation.
Ginger Restaurant decoration is lovely!!! But the breakfast serve at Ginger restaurant was pretty average to me... Wouldn't mind having as a package, but wouldn't pay the price for the kind of food serve. Service at the restaurant were much slower too as staff tend to look at the floor instead of the guest. But its CNY so I shall not comment much. But there's one aunty that serve food with big lovely smile. Its a petty that I didn't take note of her name.
Overall experience staying in Park Royal Hotel Beach Road is good! Would definitely recommend if you are looking at staycation situated at convenience location filled with hipster cafe and nice restaurant.

Actually requested for highest floor with amazing view but they didn’t fulfil my request. It’s okay, they also mention to make advance booking for swimming pool and so we did, but pool is fully booked, felt so disappointed. During check in we try our luck again for the pool, lucky there is last 3 slot of us. Around 7pm went swimming, but no one was there. (Wonder why they say it’s fully book) 😕 In the afternoon try to make booking for pool again, again they say fully book. We didn’t bother to go down to check.
Aside from that, we do appreciate the gifts that comes in the package that include late check out at 6pm, inclusive of breakfast and semi lunch buffet for 2 adults. Room was very spacious and clean. Overall we are happy with our stay there. Definitely we come again.

From booking communication through email, Aisyah was the best. Everything went smooth and all our requests was accommodated. Even the room upgrade. Thank you so much Aisyah! :)
Check in was smooth and Vin was really friendly and welcoming. As for the room (1015), it was almost perfect! Room was spacious enough for two and the view was AMAZING!!! Truly a panoramic view. Balcony was great, but it would have been better if there was a brighter light for lounging out during the evening.
Only improvement I guess would be some of the staff being more friendly specially by the pool and beach area. In other Shangri-la, guests would go directly to the beds and a staff will bring the towels and some water for refreshments. We did not experience this here in Rasa Sentosa. Not sure if this is because of covid. But it would still be great if the staff would in those areas be more welcoming and friendly.
Overall, had a great time and had a great birthday celebration. We would definitely come back for another quick getaway from the city. Thank you so much!

Only 2 bottled water allowed per room. Request for more bottled water was refused. Water kettle was not working well, kept leaking and unsafe for usage. Had to go to plaza singapura to buy 5L of bottled water from cold storage. Upon request for shavers, they could only provide 1 shaver per room even though 2 pax check in. Extremely unhygienic, luckily we brought alcohol wipes.
Doors are not soundproof and can hear other neighbor’s doors slamming very loudly in the middle of the night. Request for late checkout also turned down even though hotel not fully booked (upon checking, there were many rooms available for booking on trip.com)
TV keeps disconnecting too
At this price point, suggest staying at D’hotel @ tiong bahru instead. Better service and not stingy.
