The room was very good and gave me a family room. The atmosphere of the hotel is more like a big family. The key room heating is very good, so there is no need to worry about the cold weather outside. The hotel is well located, directly at the Hbf and still quiet (at least the rooms to the water), the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel has already come into the years, what you look at the room facility now (flicked tape, traces of use on the furniture, shower wall was once clear glass, you can see before loud calc and other deposits The cleanliness is superficially OK, in more precise terms, it looks different. The kittens are partly flaxy, the lower part of the toilet actually found down and now dry rests of previous guests' leaves, the carpet is also sucked quite grossly independently of the spots. Unfortunately, this has left a so sustainable impression that, especially in view of the price, no more than 2 points are given.

The rooms and bathrooms are as new. Unfortunately, the condition of the bathroom was unsatisfactory, with limescale deposits in the shower under the toilet, and a slight smell of urine in the air. I got 89 euros at the reception for 67 euros through the app, which is related to my high standards. In addition, there is a breakfast that should be charged 15 euros. I personally think that these two breakfasts are too much. Personally, I will go on a business trip and sleep here again, but privately, I may not necessarily spend my vacation there.

The receptionists are a little cold, but if you overlook that the place was good. The room was very comfortable very modern, which was great after staying at very old authentic places prior. We went up stairs to the bar for drinks one night which had great views and the breakfast the next morning was very good. We only stayed the one night as we caught a cruise the next day which very conveniently had a pick up out front. Would stay again.

I spent hours researching hotel options in Kiel (never been, was invited to a birthday party), and wound up in this hotel. No question that the hotel offers the best location for Kiel activities at the best price. They have regular sized rooms and larger rooms facing the waterfront, expect to have each room come with everything you expect in a 4 star hotel. In-house parking available, just about everything worth doing in Kiel can be reached by foot, the ferry boats leave from a pier virtually across the street. If you have the time, definitely take the ferry to Laboe, other side of the harbor bay, where you will find a wide variety of beach front restaurants and shops and the U995 WWII submarine exhibit - above ground, with the price of admission (around $10) you can walk it stern to bow. Anyway, back to the hotel - this is the best option for the money, do not hesitate to book.

Dieses Hotel haben wir als Start- und Zielpunkt für unsere mehrtägige Radtour am Nord-Ostsee-Kanal entlang ausgesucht. Das Hotel liegt für diese Radtour recht günstig. Das Hotel verfügt zudem über einen abschließbaren und ausreichend großen Fahrradraum, so dass die Fahrräder sicher untergebracht werden konnten. Der Service sowohl beim Empfang, als auch beim Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, stets sehr sehr freundlich. Auch der Hausmeister ist top, konnte uns mit einem kurzfristig benötigten Werkzeug super weiterhelfen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und - wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Garten - richtig schön ruhig. Am Abend kann man im lauschigen Garten sitzen und die kleine Bar hat ein kleines aber sehr gutes Angebot an Getränken. Die beiden Ausflüge von hier am Anfangs- und am Endtag sind von hier aus ebenfalls sehr gut zu machen, da der richtige Bus sowohl zum Aussichtspunkt der Schleuse Kiel Südufer, als auch zur Fähre zum Nordufer ganz in der Nähe abfährt und hier auch wieder ankommt. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel sehr gut empfehlen.

Suppe average, pre-food was good, after-food average. Breakfast was enough and very good :) Bar: I was always good visit, so I can't understand why one trainer is left to work there alone. It was unfortunately not behind because of the high demand. However, she was very friendly, effortless and one of the best staff in the hotel. Why let them work with a trained button is a mystery for me. Wellness: The area is very beautiful in itself and I was very positively surprised, Because of our own very negative experience, I would dismiss us to visit the pool area with young children, because our experience is not desirable for children to stay in the pool in normal child volume and it is noted immediately be quiet. The other guests in the pool could not understand why we were noticed and have just shaken their head. Unfortunately, a significant negative experience, as we had no “volume” problems in any (wellness) hotel yet.

I wanted to book the room directly at B&B via the Internet. It was an offer of over 75,- €/night with breakfast. When I wanted to book it was on the side that all the rooms are loaded. Then I have to book a room over partners (trip.com) for 116,- €/night without breakfast. When we arrived at the hotel, we wanted to have breakfast next morning. Ein tolles Haus mit Ecken und Kanten. Die Zimmer sind, je nach Kategorie von, bis. Unser Zimmer war in der zweiten Etage mit Blick auf die Förde. Über eine Treppe, oder mit dem Lift leicht erreichbar. Die hohe Badewanne wird nicht jeden erfreuen, hier sollte im Vorfeld sondiert werden. Den SPA-Bereich habe ich nicht besucht und lasse die Bewertung aus. Das Frühstück muss ich hervor heben, es gibt fast nichts was es nicht gibt, super. Das Abendessen hätten wir uns schenken können, ausser teuer war es einfach nichts. Ein Absacker in der Lobby war uns auch nicht gegönnt, nach über einer halben Stunde vergebenes Warten auf den Barmann sind wir zu Bett gegangen. Außer dem gestressten Barmann war der Rest des Personals super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Von einem Haus in dieser Kategorie erwartet man etwas mehr.

This is a modest, slightly old-fashioned hotel. My single room looked quite freshly renovated, though. Enough space to store your things, even a (very small) room safe, a clean and functional bathroom. Cleanliness in the room itself was mediocre (some spots on the carpet and it didn't look like they cleaned the space under the bed, but it wasn't too bad). Quite comfortable bed. Small, acceptable breakfast. The location is convenient, in easily walkable distance from the main train station and close to the Stena Line ferry as well - though the immediate vicinity isn't particularly nice. Reception was closed overnight at the time of my stay. For the price, the hotel is alright.

The absolutely worst experience! I’ve never been met with an attitude this bad from a receptionist. Tuesday, WE made a mistake by driving into the hotels parking. We ask in the reception if we can get out again, but one of the receptionists (with very bad English) tells us that it is okay for us to stay there, even though we wanted to get out. Already there we had a bad communication because of his bad English. So he lets us stay parked there thinking it’s 15 euro pr. night/day. Two days later we came back to get our car. The receptionist (woman) starts to scold us out, saying that WE COULD NEVER park here if we were not guests! And we politely tell her that her coworker told us two days earlier that it was okay. (Everything should be on their camera) She said that NEVER EVER would her coworker tell us that. I then ask if she thinks we are lying? Treating us like 3 dogs from the street, I’ve never been talked to in that way. She then gets her “manager” or whatever he was, then he starts telling us that we have to pay 100 euro for the two nights, because we are not guest, and apparently it says that outside, but we talked to another receptionist two days earlier who told us different. We then told him that this is because of bad communication from their coworker and the mistake is on both sides. He tells us that our car could be pulled out by a truck and then we can pay both? So basically threatening to call someone to get our car pulled out. And I respond that we can drive our car out ourselves and no need to threaten. We NEVER said that we wouldn’t pay, but simply discussing what we should do about this mistake. And of course we know that if we had parked in there and did not see the sign it would be our fault, but we were TOLD different in the reception BY A RECEPTIONIST. I am still in shock over the attitude and I told them that their attitude was so bad. We payed the 100 euro and got out. I want some money back because THEY misinformed us and treated us like we’ve never been treated before. I worked at a hotel in Denmark and we would never talk to a guest like this. Simply not okay. I hope you get your attitude fixed.

After a 12-day cruise, we wanted to make the holiday expire in Kiel for two days and have booked a room in advance ... I was allowed to conduct a very friendly telephone call and we were offered a great room. At the arrival (the only small manko) it was unfortunately not possible for the hosts to pick up our bag 🧳 from the port, but we were offered to order a taxi for us. What I thank you for refusing because we were standing in front of us about 50 taxis (which no one wanted to carry us just about 200 meters) so to third with 2 small children and 6 bags from the hotel 🏨 At the reception was a very friendly Reception was explained everything exactly and a city plan we also got in the hand coffee machines for free use 24h top In the next 2 days we were also welcomed with names very friendly and we were explained the buffet , it missed Practically no such staff needs the gastronomy rooms were and were picked up by Picobello and the baggage transport ordered by the reception to the railway station has also best knocked up inches and once I'll be back in Kiel I'm coming back here

This is a very nice hotel on the outskirts of Kiel very comfortable room with very large bed.We stayed here on route to sweden and it was a perfect place to stay.It has a very nice restuarant although we found the prices a little on the high side.The shops we found were about ten minutes drive.Nice views from bar and restuarant would stay here again.

Hotel was in chaos when we arrived. Staffing issue with the room cleaners, only one on duty. The reception area was full of guests waiting for their rooms. We eventually got into ours at 18.30 that night. The reception staff were doing their best to keep the guests happy, They were working really hard and were terribly stressed.. Caroline in particular did an amazing job. Our room, when we got into it, was comfortable and reasonably clean. Location is very good, close to the harbour and station. Breakfast was very busy but there was plenty of choice of food and again the catering staff were working very hard. I had the impression that there are some management issues at the hotel. I felt sorry for the staff that were obviously doing their best but needed more support. Having said that it was a good stay for us and Kiel was an interesting and surprisingly lovely place to visit.

Das Hotel ist toll für Tierfreunde!! Dabei sehr nett am Empfang; es gibt kostenlosen Kaffee oder Tee, am Ende sogar eine große Flasche Wasser ohne Extraberechnung. We stayed at the Steigenberger for one night. The hotel is nice and conveniently located opposite Terminal 28. It also close to the city centre. The buffet breakfast was very good. However, there was only a bottle of water in the mini-bar. The weather was quite hot and there was not ventilation unfortunately.

We are very satisfied with our stay at the Maritim Hotel Bellevue Kiel, The hotel room was very satisfactory with a living room, even it was simple then the view was outstanding. The hotel is of older class but seemed nicely maintained. The restaurant was also appealing with the same great view of the sea. I have one thing I want to bring up with the management, as I do not think it is suitable here in write about, so if the hotel management wants to know more about what this is, they can take answer me here on the TripAdvisor and possibly give me an email address or phone number and I will tell you more about it in detail.

Etwas altbackenes Hotel, fußläufig oder mit dem e-Scooter vom Hauptbahnhof zu erreichen • freundliche Empfangsdame, die uns aufgrund der derzeitigen Belegung einen Check-Out bis 14:00 Uhr einräumte • Lift; sauberes, ausreichend großes Zimmer – etwas kahl und ohne Nachttisch, bequemes Bett, WLAN mäßig, kein Wasserkocher/Minibar • kleines Bad mit Dusche und „anhänglichem“ Duschvorhang -> alles soweit recht gut, wäre da nicht das Reinigungspersonal: zunächst wahrgenommen durch lautes Poltern beim Reinigen der Nebenzimmer: zuschlagende Türen, ständiges Anschlagen mit dem Staubsauger. Den Damen scheint der Gast völlig gleich zu sein. Das Highlight: Nach 11:00 Uhr, dem eigentlichen Check-Out, klopfte es heftig mehrfach gegen unsere Zimmertür. Zwei erboste Damen vom Reinigungsdienst ermahnten uns das Zimmer umgehend zu verlassen. Wir teilten ihnen mit, dass uns das Zimmer bis 14:00 Uhr versprochen war; dieses interessierte sie nicht im Geringsten und sie drohten mit der Berechnung einer weiteren Nacht. Wir checkten umgehend aus und kommen nicht wieder. Hinweis an die Geschäftsleitung: Bitte überdenken Sie die Personalfrage.
