Take the airport and take the Flytoget to Oslo Central station. Exit south and walk straight through the taxi waiting area to see the hotel's big signboard. It is very convenient to walk for 5 minutes. There are also a lot of buses around, the breakfast buffet is good, and there is hot food. Room facilities are adequate, no slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc., but many hotels in Norway do not. Air conditioning is OK, winter is not cold, pillows are relatively low. A few minutes walk from Karl Johans gate, the shopping street in the city centre, it is recommended!

I enjoyed my stay at Comfort Hotel Børsparken. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was impressed with the breakfast on offer which had a great selection including cooked items, cereals, pastries, yoghurts and more. Highly recommend visiting the balcony on the 8th floor which has stunning views of the city. I have already booked to return soon.

The hotel is right at the train station, but it is not very easy to find when arriving. There is no sign for the hotel in the train station. We still rely on navigation to find the hotel from the outside. Gave us a room for the disabled, which is large in size but relatively rudimentary. If the room needs to be cleaned, you need to inform the front desk, no charge. The room can't control the temperature by itself. Fortunately, the days we stayed, the outside was very hot, so I didn't feel cold. The restaurant is on the first floor and there are many people, so it seems crowded. The overall sanitation of the hotel is general, especially in restaurants and public areas.

Very good hotel, value for money is too high, in the center of the city, shopping is very close, a few minutes walk, the hotel is fully self-service, very clean, a lot of entertainment facilities in public areas. The location of this place is superb! Opposite is byporten and Oslo Central station (Oslo S). Very convenient to come here with the train from airport. Hotel located in strategic location where it’s a walking distance to all the branded stores and also one of Oslo best sushi restaurant. Do take note that the hotel does not have a In room phone. So if you need anything, you are required to sms then instead. Lastly, for my stay the breakfast was awesome! I booked for a superior room with bath tub, ended up they gave me a Handicapped room with no bath tub, pretty disappointed.

Thon Hotels are always my first choice when I first need a hotel and I’ve always been pleased with the chain. However, Linne was way below my expectations compared to other Thon hotels that I’ve been at. To start with: there were old dirty bed sheets laying around when we walked into the room (probably forgotten by the cleaning staff). Old TV which doesn’t allow you to watch anything else than local satellite channels. The room was ice cold, maybe turning on the heat before the guests arrive could be an idea? We checked in quite late (20:00 or something), the temperature would be all right if the wall panels had been turned on by check in time 15:00 or earlier. The breakfast was very good, but it would be nice if the restaurant staff would allow us to finish our food before they go collecting our plates from the table. I’m a fan of Thon but not so sure I will be returning to Linne, sorry.

The location is on the top of the mountain, the transportation is inconvenient, the bus stop to the city center is about 13 minutes away, the train station needs taxi, Oslo nobles, in addition, a large part of the hotel is newly renovated, facilities and daily necessities are not yet available, the room does not even have a phone. The room is not small, the bedside table and table are small, not commensurate with the room area, the bathroom is large, but unfortunately the glass door of the shower room is not well designed, the water will still be immersed. The advantage is that the landscape is good, the breakfast is good, and the breakfast area is cute. The overall service is ordinary, not professional and procrastinating.

The hotel is generally good, there is a parking place at the entrance for loading and unloading luggage, the parking lot is underground, and a small door not far to the right of the hotel's main entrance enters. Note that the door and driveway are particularly narrow, you must drive in carefully. The parking fee is expensive, 250 crowns per night, but cheaper than outside. But there were few parking spaces. When we arrived at the hotel later in the afternoon, a waitress said there was no parking space underground, so I went outside to the nearby public parking lot to park. After I unloaded my luggage and checked in, I took a chance to go to the basement level and found that there was still a vacant seat. I immediately went to the front desk to handle the parking procedures. In the next few days, I walked around the city on foot. Without moving a car, I walked to the Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, the National Opera House, and the Munch Museum. Hotel rooms are more comfortable, breakfast is great, there are salmon, two ways. Hardly ever seen salmon in hotels in Sweden and Denmark. In short, everything was satisfactory.

The unit met all of our basic needs with four twin beds, couch, kitchen with basic supplies, fridge, microvawe, stove, dishes and supplies, large bathroom with shower, and automatic shades for the early morning sun. But very limited lighting and black interior made it very dark and hard to see. Washer and dryers on each floor are free but took us several hours of running and eventually we dried clothes in our unit by hanging them. Cannot say enough nice things about the neighborhood. Mainly Pakistani, North African, East African and Arab. Amazing and cheap produce and food everywhere, Walking distance to Oslo Central train and bus stations. It can get a little grimy so exercise caution but felt pretty safe.

Norway is the country with the highest GDP per capita in the world, but this trip to Northern Europe is the most boring country in the city center. The location of the hotel is very good, right in the center of the old city, but the facilities are very simple. Not as good as a county hotel in China. The breakfast did not even have hot meals, and there was no water heater in the room. A plastic bag is hung on the door every morning, containing 2 ice-cold sandwiches and 2 bottles of orange juice. If you don't bring your own water heater, breakfast for guests with stomach problems will become the source of the disease. The TV in the room only has 2 Norwegian channels and there is no international news in English. I hardly believe that this is a hotel in the center of the capital where the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded. Oslo has many advertisements welcoming Chinese people to use UnionPay cards, and maps in Chinese. However, the arrangement of hotel facilities to cater to the habits of Chinese tourists is the worst in the Nordic countries, far inferior to Finland and Sweden. It makes people doubt the Viking countries, where are their competitive advantages today?

I feel that there are many people in India and Pakistan who live in the store. It seems that the hotel reception also has Indian and Pakistani people. There is a gas station at the gate. There is a McDonald's or KFC in the hotel next door. There is a Kiwi supermarket near the hotel. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the supermarket. It is very convenient. Hotel parking lot, you can park on the ground floor, the charge seems to be NOK150. If you stop the hotel's underground car park, the parking fee will be higher. I always feel bad leaving anything other than great reviews, but I was a bit disappointed by the hotel. The room was small, which is normally fine, but you really did have to squeeze by the bed to get to the far side of the room. The bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was fantastic but the room’s carpet was very stained and grossed me out a bit. I also had trouble getting the door to lock behind me when I left and was glad I checked it a number of time to ensure it was actually locked. Breakfast was fine and interaction with staff was pleasant. The location is really great and the tram noise wasn’t too disruptive. Had the carpet seemed cleaner, it’d have been a more pleasant stay. I had requested an iron for the room, which unfortunately wasn’t there upon my late checkin. I’m sure I could’ve called down to the front desk and asked, but I didn’t bother so that’s on me. I previously stayed at the Scandic Victoria, which was a much nicer and cleaner room, but also didn’t have an iron.

I have mixed feelings here. The location was really good for us (close to the library, where I was working, and close to Aker Brygge and the city centre). The staff were also friendly and tried their best to resolve issues quickly. We never got the heating fixed and our flat was extremely hot for our entire stay, and though they brought us a tiny fan, we were quite warm, especially at night. However, I agree with other reviewers here, who noted that the flats are pretty small and that for the price, you'd expect a bit more. I think for stays over 5 or so days, they should automatically clean, rather than charging for it. They should also offer more toilet paper and kitchen towels instead of expecting you to buy it, and they could provide aluminium foil and a few other basics (again, given the price we're paying). I'd like to see refillable soap containers, in order to be more eco-friendly, rather than small plastic bottles that they presumably throw away. And I think they could easily offer a vegan breakfast (you know, bread with vegetables isn't that hard to prepare...). In general, though, we had a good stay.

The Thon Rosenkrantz is very strategically located just two blocks (or 3 minute walk) from the Parliament, university, main boulevard, and the main shopping streets. The only hotel even mores strategically located would be The Grand. It also sits right on the tram line - talk about convenience in getting around Oslo - just make sure you get the public transport pass that allows you to take bus, tram or metro at no extra cost! The reception staff are all very warm, engaging and accommodating - and we dealt with at least three of them. The breakfast team (Paleo) was less warm by comparison but still helpful when asked. In the two days we were there, the hotel was very busy so Paleo was extremely tight. But the reception boasted that they had the best hotel breakfast in the city - and having tried it twice, I was inclined to believe their boast. They had the orange-squeezing machine that delivered fresh juice, they had both grilled and fresh veggies, their butter was home-made in a large tub that you scooped out of, not those in small plastic containers, they had a bread toaster, the cereal corner had a great spread, and they did the bacon and sausage very well. The rooms are larger than average, with even a small alcove for a sofa set, chair and coffee table, which I found impressive. The bedside tables were of leather though I did find their surface a bit too small. The bathroom was unusually large, with a novel hair-body wash dispenser in the shower. Though I found it odd that there was only one small hook in the entire bathroom. My wife found the toilet seat quite high - probably great for the average Dutch guy but my wife was only 5 feet tall. We also appreciated the coffee maker which seems to becoming a standard for high-class hotels. About the rooms, guests will notice that the room numbers are painted on the door two-foot high! This was the first time we had seen something like this and we took pictures - like jail cells - ha ha ha!

It was like Fort Knox to get into as we arrived earlier than the 3p check in. We buzzed outside the building and someone answered eventually to let us into the walkway and small courtyard only to find the door locked to get into the apartments. The guy on the intercom said to press the buzzer, but we pressed everything and still couldn't get in. We saw the cleaners on the ground floor and pounded on the glass until they let us in. The place is a bit low profile on the outside with only a small plaque on the wall with the name on it. It's an automatic check-in with a machine in the foyer. Once we had that sorted out we eventually took the lift (the only time it worked) to our apartment to find a tiny bedroom with a bed pushed against the walls and not room for much else, meaning if you had to get up during the night, the person against the wall (window) had to climb over the other one (like a speed bump) to get out. There is a really small wardrobe, but for travellers no room to put suitcases. The living area is very roomy, so we had our suitcases in there and the kitchenette was good to have. The bathroom unfortunately is super tiny with a vanity, toilet, shower and washing machine squashed in there. The shower was hard to navigate to get in and out as the vanity and washing machine were in the way and you had to juggle both doors to squeeze past. The shower did get blocked at one stage and had to stop mid shampoo to unblock the drain before it flooded the bathroom. On the plus side, the living area was good except we had our suitcases in there (and that became very messy). The kitchen was great and had all the pots and pans and cutlery/crockery needed and it was good to be able to do laundry. The apartment is situated in Grunerlokka where only a short walk away you can access nice restaurants, a park, small convenience stores and lovely shopping. Nearby is Ankerselva River which was really lovely for walks along at the end of the day.
