1. The facilities are very old. I think the bathroom is completely old. It was a day without rain, but when it started raining, the building started to smell a bit. I changed rooms because there was mold in the heater, and in the room I changed, mold was seen between the bathroom bathtub and the wall. 2. The bedding was clean. 3. The staff are young and friendly. It seems like a cheap place for people in their 20s to live for a month. I don’t know if this is an accommodation that would satisfy those people. When you're in your late 30s, it's hard to recommend it because there are many cleaner accommodations than staying at that accommodation for the same price.

Good value for money hotel and walking distance to Dongmun Market The leaf noodle mackerel and the breeze sea breeze soup are delicious, so I use it for the second time. This time, I was suffering from a mango mosquito for two nights. It was a real human blood donor. And the air conditioner started, and it stopped. located within a 10 min walk to the dongmun night market. right across the road there is a bus stop with many buses that go to the airport- just a 15-20 min ride there! our room was big enough for us to open 2 full sized check in luggages and still walk without feeling crammed. water dispenser is on the 5th floor. there is parking at the back of the hotel but the lots are quite limited.

First of all, I booked a sea view room, but I couldn't see the sea from both windows. Because the room price was relatively cheap, I didn't want to worry about it. Secondly, we arrived at the hotel late after our trip and had already washed ourselves, only to find that the sheets were dirty and there were hairs on the pillows and sheets. Nice expectations about Champion Hotel were playing on my mind when I landed in Jeju International Airport. However, I was sort of _ at a lost since there was no friendly and clear instructions from the hotel how to reach the place. An impatient response to my last phone call was .... ”no English” .... A staff from the airport information counter directed me to take bus number 365 and get off at Seomun traditional market stop. From there, it took me a long time to find 131, Namseong-ro street after asking help from some people. Finally, I reached Champion Hotel; and it was a relief to meet the owner who speaks English. Champion Hotel is a good place to stay transiently, but for me this property is not on a par with a homely guesthouse. A medium-sized double room with window was allotted to me. It was designed in a very basic arrangement; but the necessary items like fridge, hair dryer and kettle were provided. The bathroom was clean and with good water pressure. Good to mention that bottled drinking water was provided. The inclusive buffet breakfast consisted of soup, bread, butter, sunny side up egg and veggie salad. Hot coffee was available from the coffee dispenser machine. What I appreciated most was the effort of the hotel owner to arrange the Jeju city tour for two Indonesian ladies who suggested me to join them; and we had to divide the price of the tour among us three, consequently making it affordable. It was an unforgettable city and beyond the suburban areas tour. Big thanks to the owner and manager of Champion Hotel.

Staff generally does try to be friendly but communication in English is limited. Rooms were somewhat cleaned everyday but do not expect deep cleaning. Refilled water etc for me everyday as well. Loved their kettle and the coffee drip bags they provide. Condition of room: There was dust in many places and stains on the walls and curtains. The towels and bath robes provided was already fraying. Consider replacing please. There is only one lift in the hotel but I never had to wait too long for one. Bed was comfy, same with pillows which were down. Just that there was a strange thing on my last day. The put 2 of the 4 pillows on the floor when I came back. Not sure what they expected me to do with it.

A spa resort is abviously not the ideal choice for winter, but its affordable price and huge comfortable apartments prompted me to book a night while I explored Aewol. It has 2 entrances, one from the main road, and one through a small narrow backlane. Park according to where your room is located. The unit I got was facing the pool, which was emptied out during winter. But it was perched on a small hill, and the sea was in view. The resort had a convenience store which was only manned during working-hours, but it becomes self-serviced at night and you can still access it, making it convenient for late night snacks. The alcohol section is however, closed when the store is unmanned.
