The hotel is located on the side of the resident island of Ma Fuji near the police station and the prison. It is five minutes walk from Bikini Beach and the more lively places, but the island is not big. From the airport to Ma Fuji, there are speedboats every hour or two every day, 25 dollars unilaterally. I didn't know at the beginning. I went to the airport to contact the boss at the airport information center. The person who was contacted by the boss yelled at the speedboat outside. After half an hour's speedboat arrived at Ma Fuji Island, the little brother used the three-wheeled cart to pick up the baggage back to the hotel. The hotel owner asked me for $25 at the beginning. I thought it was a ferry. As a result, the ferry was only one shift per day, and the journey was one and a half hours. So explain it here clearly and avoid misunderstandings. The folk boss is enthusiastic. I went out to sea and she also provided me with a mobile phone case. The breakfast buddy sat, very good. The house is fully equipped with refrigerator, air conditioning and hot water. There is a supermarket on the inhabitants' island, which is convenient for living. There is a buffet at the end of the island. Generally, the $15 tax is enough.

White Sand Lodge is a very nice place with friendly and helpful staff. They can organise tours and help you with any questions you may have about the Maldives. The tours are well organised and include snorklingquipment, towels, water and evening you need. The rooms are comfortable and they are cleaned daily. The including breakfast it’s like an buffet and very tasty. Lunch and dinner is available as well. On the rooftop is also a nice seating area. The local beach and the bikini beach is 3 minutes walk away and other places, like restaurants, shops or dive center are nearby. The ferry/boat jetty ist also only a few minutes walking distance away. We loved the beautiful house cats and there cute baby’s. They are a good und funny pastime while waiting or sitting in the lounge.

Stayed here in Feb 2021 for 8 days, our first out of a four week stay in the Maldives. Crystal sands villa (part of Crustal sands hotel) is a nice hotel, great team of people working there! Reception team was very helpful, our server was fab and the sea view from our balcony was amazing. A bit more environmental focus would be appreciated (too much plastic everywhere, too many single use plastic bottles, straws, bags...). More signage needed in hotels to reuse towels (otherwise they are changed every day), to look after the water consumption, use reusables etc. The whole island needs a big more of an environmental focus, especially because the whole country is such a paradise, needs to be protected. Government should really do more to support; start with education of the local businesses and communities, support with waste collection, recycling and focusing on reusables instead of creating more waste. Maafushi bikini beach is lovely, although small. There were a good few tourists but it wasn’t packed due to the pandemic, but I guess it can get crowded in ‘normal times’. Lots to do on Maafushi island! There are loads of good restaurants - we went to Stingray a good few times, always great! If you want a quick bite though, definitely go and see Fine Bake by Suzy for banana bread and fish cakes, amazing! Other activities include great water sports; my hubby did lots of diving. Do check out the excisions; we missed out on the sand bank and shark dives, gutted! We thought we’d be able to do it later as we stayed for a month, but the second island and our third location (Filalhohi resort) didn’t offer it, so although we stayed a month, we missed out on the amazing sand bank trip.. Maafushi island is highly recommended, great for the budget travel. Although I hope more efforts are made by the local council and the government in protecting the environment!

Excellent stay experience, the staff is very friendly and will pick up the boat at the dock and love the children. When you arrive at the hotel, you will be able to take care of the children and you will be able to fill in the accommodation information. The welcome drink is also very good. There is also a towel and a breakfast buffet. Although there are simple toast, jam with blueberry sauce, strawberry jam and butter can be chosen, it is worth mentioning that their boiled eggs are delicious, there are two kinds of pasta and a kind of rice and a red sausage and a soup. Every day, the breakfast will be fine-tuned to show that the hotel has a good intention. As for Chinese food, it is the best. There are several choices for Western style, soup, appetizer, dinner, dessert and drink. Especially the pasta and Thai fried rice in the dinner are very delicious. The children are particularly fond of Italian meat sauce. The dinner is a buffet. It takes another two or three minutes to eat at another branch of the hotel. It is also good. It is recommended that all the friends on the island It is more cost-effective to choose a full meal or breakfast and dinner.

I have never felt as welcome as in hotel Masaaree. The staff of the hotel made our stay as comfortable as possible from the moment we arrived to the last minute of our vacation. Sometimes it seemed like they were reading my mind 🙂 All of the hotel is well taken care of, and the rooms are very comfortable and always clean. We had our breakfasts and delicious dinners served on the lovely terrace in front of the hotel. All the excursions organized by the boys from the hotel were super fun and exciting, and the experience was all that it promised before. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone with a wish to experience pristine kindness and great value for money. Thank you guys for great memories.

For our honeymoon we decided that The Maldives would be our dream destination and we spent a long time selecting the right resort for us. We started at Anantara Veli (please read my review for this) and then moved to Naladhu Private Island. Obviously the setting of the island is stunning. Naladhu has gently sloping white sand beaches leading to the bluest warm sea imaginable - but I do not think that is rare in The Maldives. However, what sets this Island apart is the incredible staff we met during our stay. Every single one of them provided a level of service I have never experienced before. Nothing is a problem, no request an issue. We stayed in Villa 6 during our stay and our exceptional "house master" was Ameen who could not do enough for us. He was probably a little disappointed that we are quite independent and made some arrangements ourselves - but he always greeted us with warmth and a smile and our villa was always immaculate. The villa itself is simply stunning - tall double doors open to a large hallway which leads to a huge bedroom which can open on two sides to the pool and the covered decking. The bathroom is open at both sides with one leading to an outside shower and the other directly to the pool with a glass sided bathtub as the divider. There is also an "inside" shower/steam room and Elemis products throughout which were all very high quality. Outside a wide deck by the green tiled pool overlooks the ocean with the gentle sound of waves as a backdrop. From the decking we could spot crabs, reef sharks and loads of species of fish just below us. All meals on Naladhu are at The Living Room. This open sided building is designed to be "your living room" so you can eat breakfast at any time of the day and have literally whatever you want. Both lunches and dinners are exceptional and the chef often came out to speak to the guests and was a delight. Murphy looked after us during our time there and he was a lovely person, very warm and engaging and a credit to the resort. The manager, Thomas, was also superb and even lent us his personal speaker when we could not get to grips with the sound system provided. And finally, the wonderful Bibin, who not only sorted out our reservation but took the time to come and see us when we were in Veli to check that everything was OK and looked after us on Naladhu. On departure we had a private transfer to Male in a luxury boat which was the perfect end to the perfect holiday. This is a wonderful island, fully deserving of all the awards it has received. Well done Anantara - you have got this so right and we will definitely be back.

This is our 1st tup to Maldives. After an “extensive” research on Tripadvisor etc, we decided to stay with Kinan, and were not disappointed. We landed at night in Male, so we had to stay overnight in Hulhumale (or you can choose Male) before the speedboat transfer the next morning. It is best that to get a local SIM card for communication with Kinan via FB messenger or Ramzee, the manager via WhatsApp. I data roamed for a short while thinking that data roaming rate would RM38 per day, it was actually RM38 per MB. A warning text came stating I had spent RM 300 for a 10 minute data usage! We got onto a speed boat transfer arranged by Kinan, and arrived about 1.5 hours later. The water in front of the resort is so blue, it does not get any bluer than here anywhere else in the world. Faesal the manager and the team goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The room is clean, comfortable and everything in it is functioning. Lunch and dinner is very delicious. Breakfast can be a bit monotonous, with roshi (Maldivian flatbread), Mas Huni (tuna coconut salad) and some Western fare. My advice is to just go with full board, as getting ala-carte food from the other 2 or 3 local restaurants can take a long time. Fulidhoo is such a small island, and you can finish walking around it in 15 minutes. So to kill time, please do some activities. We went for a snorkelling trip to a sunken fishing ship and visit at the sandbank. If you want to see marine life (and maybe corals) you can miss this one. The next trip was a sunset/night fishing. The small catch that we had was cooked for lunch the next day. We went scuba diving with Fulidhoo Dive located next door. They are a professional outfit, and are highly recommended. As a not so experienced diver, I thought the corals were not so great. Then we found out the bleaching in 2016/17, which explains our finding. On the final day we went snorkelling again at Shark Point. This is near a private resort where the gentle nurse sharks gather around you as you swim in the water. As Kinan is a small 9 room establishment, the other guest can make or break your stay. Among others, there were an Italian family and couple, and American scuba diver couple during our stay. Everybody was cordial and respected each other. Then in the last 2 nights came an Indian model shooting crew. They were loud, stayed up late at night, have little respect for our private spaces, smoked in front of the children during meals and was wearing shoes inside (shoes are taken off as we enter). My American fellow guest had a go telling them off. I asked Ramzee to handle them. I think he did a good job, as they “behaved” themselves after. Thank you Kinan for a great stay!

First of all, I want to say that this is my fifth trip to Madai, and I went to the brand of Banyan Tree. Let me first say the advantages: service and good! I prepared a birthday cake for the child, and re-arranged the room for the child by turning the night bed. Based on the good service, I will give a daily tip of 2-4 US dollars. The diving instructor is good. Key Tucao: Meals and poor. At the beginning, the all-inclusive price for three nights and four days from December 19 to 22 (from the first day of dinner to the last day of lunch, Ctrip settled more than 32,000) was very small, Breakfast hotel reception list writes drinks and drinks (who got up early to drink and eat breakfast), saw lunch and dinner twice like sea prawns, no drinks, no drinks, only served white water, this one is still set meal is not buffet, Personally I feel that the traffic is not enough to open the buffet. Sometimes lunch and dinner are given a set menu, dessert main course salad, just talk about lunch on the last day, two chicken skewers and one fried rice, one does not know what the cold The cold dishes are cucumber and tomatoes with a little olive oil. This is a non-buffet package. I do n’t think this package adds up to more than $ 50, but for this brand of hotel, even buffet is extremely shabby! Since the child wanted to play for one more night, I renewed the room for another night, changed the air ticket, and added the diving test certificate. In addition, I spent a total of $ 3,000 in the room (including the island fee for an adult is $ 185, and the room rate is 1300 US dollar one night renewal) This price has been very good to go to other islands! Not recommended to come to this island! Facilities are only one restaurant, one bar, no public pool! In short this hotel will not come again!

Kandolhu is the fourth island we have visited in the Maldives over the last few years. I did a lot of research to find a new island - our criteria is good snorkelling, a small island and preferably few or no children. The reviews all sounded so good too so we decided to book for 2 weeks in March. We were met at the airport and the transfer to the sea plane was very smooth. A lovely welcome when we arrived by the friendly and helpful team, including Managers Mark & Laura. We booked an overwater villa as we like to sit out and watch the sea. We were really happy with our room. It was spacious, west facing for drinks at sunset, and was clean and bright. One thing we are particularly fussy about is the comfort of the bed and here the beds were fabulous, the pillows perfect and great bed linen. The bathroom was very big too and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the mini bar which was kept well stocked, though it was also nice to have a drink at the bar. We tried all the restaurants apart from the Japanese one. We loved Justin's Mexican lunches and also enjoyed the Sea Grill and Olive. The food was always fresh and delicious. The resort is made extra special by the staff who are so helpful and friendly. We didn't really need anything but I know if we needed something or had a problem it would have been dealt with. A major highlight for us was the snorkelling. The range of fish and sea life was amazing. It was easy to access the reef from the jetty (or the room) and we spent several hours a day in the water. We only did one boat trip as it was a bit windy on a couple of days. But the trip we did with Morgan on a lovely calm day to a couple of nearby reefs was excellent and it was good to see a reef with some recovery in the coral. We saw several turtles every day, many eagle rays and shoals of beautiful fish. I've never seen so many turtles in the Maldives. We had to cut short the trip to get back to the UK but that was all handled smoothly by Kandolhu and by Kuoni. Overall we had an amazing holiday. We will definitely be back next year. Our thanks to all the team and our best wishes to them and their families as they take time out due to Covid19. Anne & Nigel

My girlfriend and I stayed here for my 33rd birthday and it was literally paradise! It’s everything you expect from a 5 star resort. The property is sooo amazingly beautiful, I’m still truly amazed and speechless! The annoying elephant in the room...Covid-19! 🙄 They have full covid safety measures and protocols in place. All the staff wore mask, tables socially distanced, they have hand sanitizers and mask set out for guest when you enter the restaurant, and most importantly, they offer on site covid testing for return flights. Customer service was A1! The staff was very nice and helpful! I don’t believe we had any rude encounters or anyone not willing to help with anything. Two of the staff that was absolutely amazing and worth mentioning by name are Emannahmedh; he was the front desk/guest services person who assisted us from checkin to checkout. He offered us a tour of the property before taking us to our room. He was amazing throughout our entire stay. Even when he wasn’t physically at work, he was providing great customer service whenever we reached out to ask a question (we exchanged WhatsApp info), he would have someone who was present get it done without us even asking him to do so. The other person is Aiman, one of my the bar waiters. He was great and our go to guy for all our drink orders when we were by the main pool. They have a few different restaurants. The main restaurant (Kula) is buffet style and serves all 3 meals. They usually have a variety of options ranging from pastas to mashed potatoes and rice, with different meat options, and some Indian style dishes. The Guduguda serves local Maldivian dishes (mostly seafood), and the BBQ shack basically speaks for itself; they have a few options including prawns, chicken, steak, and lobster that’s all cooked on a huge grill with side options like corn on the cob, baked potatoes, local dishes and some amazing sauce options as well. The food was well cooked and seasoned to perfection, the sauces were the icing on the cake! They also have room service, a number of private dinner options, and picnics. I felt like there was a decent variety of options. We stayed in the ocean overwater villa and it was beautiful and worth every penny! We had a king bed that was very comfortable! You really don’t even need to leave your room to enjoy this paradise because you have your own pool right outside and direct access to the ocean. They provide you with complimentary snorkeling gear in the room so you can explore at anytime. The view was also breathtaking! The view of the pool and ocean is directly in front of the bed. We slept with the curtains open everyday to be awoken by the sunlight. I loved everything about the room but favorite thing about the room might’ve been the two part glass floors in the bathroom where you get to watch all the colorful beauties swim by. We saw a variety...fish, baby sharks 🦈, and stingrays. The only hiccup we had was the day we were supposed to leave

The accommodation is clean and comfortable and superbly located a short walk from bikini beach. Our host Yameen and his team took excellent care of us and made us feel most welcome. You can snorkel right off the beach which was great (crystal waters , white sand, and great view to other islands) though the current can be strong) but the highlights were the trips that Yameen organised one day snorkeling and to nearby picnic island , complete with fish feeding in the lagoon, and another day snorkeling at many different points around the nearby islands finding loads of reef sharks, (black and white tip) manta rays and even a turtle. Two guides snorkeled with us and pointed out many different fish and corals - also made me feel more comfortable with the sharks! Both accommodation and day trips were very reasonably priced . The Island itself had a few souvenir shops and a small grocery store as well as two main restaurants , a dive centre and local amenities such as post office, atm, police station , school and hospital. We had a fantastic time here and can’t wait to go back. Perfect for our family of five with 2 adults and 3 kids aged 14; 11; 10 and all good swimmers who were happy to stay all day in the ocean. Exceptionally good value and Super location.

I cannot recommend enough Paguro beach inn, it made our holiday absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for a luxury resort type of place do not goto Ukulhas :-) there is none of that on the island: it is a local inhabited island and so much better for that! But even talking to other people we met I think Paguro must be the best structure available!  The structure It is literally 1min from the beach (not on the beach itself, as there are no beach structures in Ukulhas but as close as it gets). The common areas are simple and well tended, not a lot of outdoor space but they do have a couple of tables outside and we loved sitting there. They have a selection snorkelling equipment available free of charge which is amazing and not at all common in other hotels. The place is spotless clean and absolutely safe (in 10 days we managed to: leave the door of the room open, the safe door open and we forgot the wallet in the common area - useless to say absolutely nothing was touched!) Food Loved it. if you are considering Ukulhas you might have already understood that there are only 3/4 restaurants as most of the meals are served in the hotels. We took bed and breakfast formula but ended up having at least one other meal at the hotel because the food is so much better than anything else. They have both buffet (with local/Indian and international options). Breakfast was great: toast bread, butter, jam, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs (you can order them as you wish as they are made express) and every day a different selection of local and international options (I tried pancakes, banana bread, crepes, and much more and all was delicious), juices and coffee. Both lunch and dinner are either buffet or a la carte: they always have good options for kids (pasta, fish and chips and fried chicken, so good we had it 4 times)! The Indian food was amazing (best Tikka Masala ever) and after trying several other options I can totally say they cook the best fish on the island (everywhere else they tend to overcook the fish till it's super tough but not at Paguro). If you want any special seafood like the mix grilled platter or the lobster just let them know a few hours in advance and they will prepare it for you. They are amazingly accommodating! The freshly squeezed fruit juices are a real treat!  Rooms They are spotless clean absolutely among the cleanest I have ever seen. Beds are very comfortable with soft sheets and comfy pillows. We had a triple and we were totally ok. Our room had no view but we had a small balcony that we never used because it was too hot! And trust me you don't need a view just step out and go to the beach, best view you can get (btw aside from a monstrous new tall building that everyone should boycott there are no accommodations with a real view because the beach is lined by tall palm trees and most of the buildings are 1 or 2 floors max (Paguro is 2 floors for eg). Free in room nespresso coffee and fresh filtered water in the fr

We already visited Kiha beach in 2017, and I have a lot of facts to compare. That time we had wonderful trip. What about now? Some days before our trip there was a storm, and our hotel lost almost all territory of its beach! When we booked our stay we talked a lot with managers about different things, but they never mentioned that they’ve lost their entire beach. We stayed in Kiha “Beach” for 18 days with two little kids having no beach, it was very disappointing. Beach: In 4.02.20 we came and saw that wonderful beach of this hotel has gone, and everything looked like after disaster. The first time being here we loved that beach for almost 15 meters of beautiful sand, and now there is no beach near hotel. Trees and palms fell down, all the beach is full of bags with sand, and roots of trees. It looks badly. When we asked manager to remove roots of palms, he said that it is difficult to do. And now that small parts of the beach that left looks messy. Beach is not cleaned enough! The part on the top has dirty gray sand, and in the bottom it is always dirty (ocean brings garbage and only sometime someone from the hotel cleans it+ bags with garbage+ roots) Second beach, that they recommend to go, is on the west part of the island, and you need to go there for 10 min. They even have transport to go there, but you need to return by yourself. That beach is even more dirty an unorganized, and the water is not so clean, as near the hotel. Service: They try to be polite but i’s not enough for quality service. Someday they asked us to take dishes after coffee and juice from the beach to the restaurant. That was really surprising, that I must grab my children, all the staff for the beach and also cups and glasses. Not good! If you want some drinks to the beach you may wait from 20 to 40 min! (Coffee and 2 orange juices) Also we asked for coconuts for all time of our journey, but the waiter said, that sometimes they have coconuts, sometimes they don’t. Every day the answer was like this. We haven’t seen the coconuts in the hotel at all! The service looks very lazy. But I am sure, that the main reason for this is a manager! He shrugged, blaming it all on the natural disaster like he can do nothing about it. Beach is not clean! Sand on the high part of it has dirty gray color. Chaise lounges are very dirty, beach matrasses and towels are not good too. Jungles near the hotel are very dirty and full of garbage. When the hotel worker “cleans” the beach, all the leaves go to the side of the jungles. Its not normal! They do not care about their island. Rooms cleaning is good. But they close the door while cleaning which is not right thing to do by the international hotels rules. Restaurant cleaning is okay. Food: Food is very good! Not a big choice, but enough! And I enjoyed it very much. But also I must notice, that Kiha beach made beautiful dinner on 14.02, and ethnic music evenings twice. I think, that it is a good plus for this

We chose this hotel, the price/performance ratio is really good. After the trip, some people arranged for pick-up and drop-off, arranged for the inland plane and speedboat to arrive at the resort. After arriving at the fake village, the service staff sent a welcome to each person. We originally booked 5 I lived in a luxury villa in the evening. Fortunately, I can live in the water villa on the 4th night. The two villas have their own characteristics. The luxury villas can see the sunset, the water villas can see the sunrise, and everything is well arranged. The beach has white sand and the water is very blue. We cleaned the room twice a day. We booked a full breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was also served in the same main restaurant. The waiter was very polite. Every night there are different dishes and facilities. Enough, in addition to drinking water, only one bottle is supplied per room per day. The water in the hose is only filtered once and the salt is not completely filtered. Therefore, it is not suitable for drinking. To drink extra water, you should buy it at the restaurant or bar.

"You make a baby in the Maldives – you don’t take one!" That’s what all our friends told us when we shared that we were bringing our 5 month old son with us on a delayed honeymoon. We too had our concerns, however we didn’t want to leave him at home and also couldn’t resist the allure of the islands any longer. The Maldives is home to many luxury resorts, and we are sure we would have been just fine at any one of them. However, when you want to upgrade a vacation from “enjoyable” to “completely out of this world”, you don’t consider anything other than Four Seasons. Sure enough, any hesitations or concerns we had after the red eye flight from London to Male were completely washed away after seeing that iconic Four Seasons sign, held by a team of friendly, smiling faces. We were led to a cool lounge and offered towels, coffee, water and a comfortable place to sit. Our details were taken swiftly and efficiently and it wasn’t long before we were whisked onto a seaplane, en route to Landaa Giraavaru. We were greeted by Stefano, the Guest Experience Manager on the island. He escorted us to the tropical yet elegant lobby and over coconut juice, confirmed all of the details of our stay. Our son was given a soft toy which he immediately began sucking on. We did a quick tour of the island in Stefano’s golf cart, and were astounded by the beauty and tranquility of it all. The restaurants were intimate and gorgeous, the pools were calm and glistening and there was staff everywhere cleaning and gardening and ensuring everything was picture perfect at all times. Everyone seemed relaxed and content working away, pausing only to wave at us. After passing the orchid garden, yoga retreat, ocean side spa and freshwater pool, we arrived at our Sunrise Water Villa. The villa was exactly as amazing as you would expect – except with that Four Seasons touch. There was a personalized menu for our son, along with a soft and plush crib, full diaper caddy, stuffed animal gift and bath tub. And for us, anything we could have asked for – was already there. Flash light, bug spray, sun screen, yoga mats, beach bags, aloe vera… the list goes on. We didn’t take long to get totally immersed in the island and everything Four Seasons had to offer. Boots camps, water yoga, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, shark feeding, turtle safaris, sunset cruises … every day we enjoyed breakfast and read through the list of the day’s activities. We were constantly out and exploring – and making lots of friends! The staff learned our names and greeted our son by name everywhere we went. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and jumped at the chance to help us. We did want to enjoy some time just the two of us and as a new mother, I was quite nervous about leaving my baby with a stranger. The resort sent us the most wonderful, caring, confident woman named Putu, who completely gave us the honeymoon we were hoping for. She immediately bond

Stayed at Isle Royal a couple months after they opened and was very happy with my stay. Staff and service is very good. They go out of there way to help. Room was great, spotless and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable come to think of it. Food was very good...albeit with limited choices...but it is a tropical island just recently opening up for tourism. Would definitely stay here again.

Ayada Hotel's rooms are relatively large, the surrounding environment is first-class, the sea is beautiful, specially to take wedding photos, by the way honeymoon. After living in a three-day sand house and a three-day sunset water house, the sand house is already very good. The water house is not to be said. It is very pleasant to go swimming and diving at any time. The butler service is great and intimate. There are several restaurants that taste good, we order our own food. There is nothing wrong with it here. Coke Sprite is the cheapest drink. We don't have any food to drink, but we have to pay 5 US dollars. Next time I come to the sack, I decided to check in a box of Sprite. Here, I will send two bottles of water every day, but enough to drink, but There is a hint of the ocean, a little bit salty, there are all kinds of drinks in the snow, or that sentence, it is expensive. Anyway, I have to come once in my life. It is worth checking in. I recommend it.

My flight and hotel booked a total of 11 hours in transit in Hong Kong, and finally arrived in Malé, the capital of the Maldives. It was a bit rainy at 29 degrees. After landing, I took a speedboat to the island for 15 minutes. The selected island with a small number of offshore animals from the airport (low island fee) received a fee of US $ 94 per person for round-trip airport transfers when checking in. Bandos Island is located in the North Atoll of the Maldives, a total of 200 There are many houses, but there are fewer than other five-star Diamond Island floating houses, only two, and other beach villas / houses, etc. The hotel is surrounded by snorkeling areas, which are divided into atoll areas and deep sea areas according to the color depth. There are almost no Chinese on the island. When you eat, you can see tourists from all over the world. People who ca n’t swim here can also play snorkeling. You can see a lot of tropical fish in the shallow water. You need to give a small black tip when you clean the room. The Maldives is a tipping country. It is said that the income of Xiaohei is very low, which is only RMB 3000-3500 per month. Therefore, all tips are used to make money. Every night there are different performances. Try to consider everyone bored at night. Life, the shark baby and catfish can be seen at the sunset restaurant of HUVAN on the island, but the turtles did not see it. I stayed for 7 nights, and by the 5th day I was a little visually tired. Change your mood, but the island fee needs to be considered. In general, it is still very satisfactory. It is also a cost-effective island in a 5-star diamond island. Recommended! Not bad!

Maafushi, Kaani Palm Beach & Kaani Tours: 100/100 Everything is was impeccable! Often people think of private islands & over water villas when they plan for Maldives but you need to look beyond that to have a fun & memorable experience. Maafushi is a local island and in no way less than private islands, you may not have over water villas here, but the food, ambience, the vibe everything is out of the world. I visited the private islands for a day and got absolutely bored. In Maafushi, I would highly recommend Kaani Hotels, specially Kaani Palm Beach, and room with sea view is mind blowing. Kaani Palm Beach has an amazing infinity pool and its view during sunrise & sunset is spectacular. This hotel is 3 steps from the beach, with amazing swings and view. Our guide in Kaani Palm Beach Sodir was extremely courteous, polite, from arrival & receiving us till dropping us to our speed boat on our day back, he was extremely helpful. I highly recommend Kaani Tours for day trips/excursions. I did two snorkelling trips with them and it is clearly the highlight of my trip, the best one being "The Real break" where we snorkelled with nurse sharks. A special shoutout to our guide Ibrahim Fazeel & Summaiya for making it so easy & comfortable and for introducing us to the under water world to which I feel so addicted now and want to return to Maldives because of you. Thank you so much! I highly recommend Kaani Hotels & Tours when in Maafushi. Thank you for making it so wonderful!

The most beautiful holidays I've had so far. That's how I imagine paradise.   Arrival Arriving at Male airport for the first time is an experience, the airport is on an island itself and after leaving the airport all you see is clear blue water. Instead of taxis there are speedboats picking up tourists. Kagi island is about 1h by speedboat away (which is practically the better choice for Kagi, since the distance is small and water planes mean much more logistical effort. If you never flew with a water plane and want to experience it, do it on the way back). When we arrived on the island, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and bongo music which was super nice. Maria made us feel like home from the first minute and showed us everything important before leaving us to explore our own place.   Room We booked a pool villa in the sea which was beyond beautiful. The room is big and offers everything you need. Shampoo / conditioner is refilled every day, there is cream and after sun gel, you basically only need sun cream (also available on the island in a shop). The room has its own pool over the ocean and even though I didn't think I would use it, I ended up being in there every evening enjoying the sunset. Same applies for the bathtub, which was in the outside part of the bathroom, I spent some very relaxing evenings in there even when the weather was warm. The only thing to consider, the waves can be loud and crush into the outside of your pool, especially during the night this can be irritating if you have a light sleep. I usually use earplugs, so I didn't bother, but my partner struggled quite a lot. There are other villas with wave breakers in front, can't say if this makes a big difference but I guess so. The downside is the view is not the same with the breakers and for snorkeling it’s harder to get to the nice part of the reef. I would still go for the villas without breakers.   Location The island is small but still offers everything you need. The reef is extremely beautiful, just jump in the water with goggles and you see all kinds of fishes, even some small sharks sometimes. As a diver I can say, the reef was more interesting to explore than many dives I had in my life. The Spa is great and offers various treatments. There is also a modern gym and you can participate in the Yoga lessons every other day. I enjoyed the lessons a lot, even as a total beginner. I already miss them, might start doing Yoga myself now. :) There is also a small diving center. The dive guide was basically always available to us, very flexible and cool. We went for 11 dives in total and we were not disappointed. All of them were special and interesting. We didn't have to worry about anything, the boat brought us directly to the spots and picked us up after each dive, the crew was very professional and experienced. Maldives are great for diving, don’t miss the chance!   Restaurants Main restaurant and a la carte restaurant. We only booked B&B and wen

Our family of 4 made their last stop at Conrad and stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast is rich, Chinese, Japanese, and European are more selective, compared to Paradise Island and Bandos Island. There is also a Chinese restaurant, the service is super good and the price is cheap. Relatively few people here, a little quieter, suitable for vacation. The island's water is extremely blue, with several colors of blue. The only disadvantage is that Shuifei is a bit expensive, 590USD per adult. Undersea restaurant 220USD / person.

Our stay at Veli beach seemed to be good as we arrived at the airport. The personal met us took us to speedboat so this was perfect. Also communication throught e-mail and massenger before arrival was perfect. Problems began aafter arrival.Room was very small and the worse thing was that the window was to the hotel corridor. It was very uncomfortable for us. We might choose either open window to get fresh air but than everybody who passed looked straight to our bed , or close window and courtains but then the room immediately became dull. Second thing which we don ´t like at all was program all inclusive.Actually it was lunch and dinner(because breakfast was included the bed) with one small drink per person and they brought the meal from another side of island so it was cold, icecream which I ordered once was spilled and with every order we had some mistake(We told to personal that my boyfriend is vegetarian , no eating meat and eggs and first they brought soup with egg, second nasi goreng with sausages.....)So after one day we discussed with manager to cancel it.It was not problem but possibilites to eat at the restaurants are not so good at Ukulhas(the best was Thai restaurant and Retro)... Also the sea was not as we accepted. The coral reef is almost dead around the island .We saw some fish , one turttle and two small sharks but for me if I compare it to Red sea at Egypt it was nothiing... So as for us NEVER AGAIN.

The hotel is located on the resident island of the North Male Atoll area, 40 minutes by speed from the airport. The hotel has an airport shuttle service. It needs to be booked in advance, with a speed of 30 US dollars per person and 2 boats per day. This hotel is the largest hotel on the island. For lunch and dinner, you can have a buffet at the hotel for $15 per person. There are not many foods and you can only eat enough. Equivalent to domestic Samsung facilities, rooms are relatively new, fairly clean. The hotel has five floors and the fifth floor is an infinity pool, great! This island is not big, you can walk around for half an hour, and it looks good to see the local residents' houses and life! The hotel is located on the east side, the scenery is very good, the water is very clear, and many leisure facilities such as swing chairs are very holiday feeling. The water is suitable for swimming and diving, you can play with water-skiing, etc. You can also choose to go fishing and island hopping. Compared to other expensive private islands, there are many original residents living on this island. The Chinese only see three or two families, most of them are European tourists. In short, this hotel is quite good value for money, it is worth recommending to friends. Here! We are two big and one young and 8 years old. The two beds are very big. The mattress is not as soft as other hotels. Sleeping at home feels very comfortable!

Form the moment we arrived on this incredible Island the service was 1st class, we were greeted from the seaplane and whisked to our accommodation with a welcome drink on arrival. I struggle to write this review..... Not because our experience wasn't completely outstanding but it is difficult to put into words how truly beyond every expectation this resort and personnel was during our stay. The beach villa was literally feet from the beach (123) generous in size, comfy beds, spacious bathrooms with an outdoor shower, nothing better than showering under the star light !! My partner treated me to a stay in the water villa as a surprise, a early birthday present and a complete surprise, completely organised by Paul and the incredible team of staff who put this together, I was whisked away after our dolphin cruise (a must do), suitcase packed for the night and arrived in tears of joy at Villa 817 - WOW JUST SPECTACULAR our Butler was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable, couldn't do enough for us, he made us feel like the Queen and King of the island, delivered us high tea on our day bed over looking the ocean and breakfast in bed, snorkeling around the water villa and under the pier was just like swimming in a fish tank and the hot tub on the villa deck watching the sunset was just a perfect way to end the day, just simply stunning. The food is another BIG WOW factor the dine around facility provides you with lots of options and choices, quality, portion sizes, presentation, combination of flavors 10/10, compliments to the catering team waiting teams, outstanding service, our private dinner on the beach was very romantic, right on the sea edge (a must do). And don't miss out on the massages, please make sure you experience the spa, it is really an experience for a total destress. If you are considering visiting DO IT !! you will, like us, have the best experience you could ever dream of. As for us we are already looking at when we can rebook, for sure we will be returning. We would like to thank the General Manager Chris who made sure everything was just right and the entire team at Adaaran Select Meedhupparu for an exceptional holiday. Anyone who asks for my recommendations in the Maldives I will make sure they come and stay with you !!

You know you had a good vacation when you cannot single out anything specific that made it special. The pampering start right from the time you land till you are ready to fly back. Reaching the island itself is a treat in the speedboat which in our case was extra special as we were welcomed by Dolphins. We were traveling with 2 kids and booked a one bedroom beach villa. These oceanfront villas offer sand, sea and luxury living in abundance. Aarif at housekeeping knew exactly what we needed before we needed it. They had three operational restaurant ("Deep end" - fine dining Mediterranean cuisine will open in April) but we only tried 24 degree, imagine getting best Indian food outside of India :) we tried other cuisines too and everything was just perfect. There are many activities to keep you engaged from fish feeding - stringer ray and sharks ("yes), to snorkeling gear that you can keep during your stay, many non-motor activities that are free, not to mention the many picturesque locations for photographs . I highly recommend taking the snorkeling lessons, after that you can try on your own in lagoon area. We also had a pleasure to meet Mr Samrat who is the GM, and his passion about the property is hard to miss. His vision and extensive experience adds to the richness to the guest experiences. I will conclude with two stories about “Tajness”, the first is when Kalpana our host at the restaurant was chatting with my little one, we mentioned that she likes dark chocos (which is unusual for her age but she does). After few mins Kalpana reappeared with a bowl of dark choco chips and the way little one beamed at that was a moment to cherish and just underline small acts that the staff do to make you feel special. The other was narrated by another wait-staff at the restaurant. He mentioned that during the 10 month lock-down he was at home and was paid full salary. He has 4 brothers who are with other resorts and were not paid. And since he felt valued he wanted to reciprocate. So “Tajness” is to do the best for not just your patrons but for everyone and everything that is associated with Taj. And when you do, you get raving fans for life.

Excellent experience and it will be unforgetable memory in our life. The hotel first arranged for someone to pick us up at the airport, arranged for us to go to Mirihi Lounge, and then arranged for us to take a water plane. Then we arrive at Mirihi, which is completely heaven on earth. The water is very clear and clean. Every employee is very enthusiastic and professional and the service is in place. The Austrian diving teacher is also very professional. After teaching me once, I can float by myself. After snorkeling for 4 days, the underwater world here is really wonderful. Every day I take a camera to shoot big underwater movies, sharks, tuna, and any fish in the sea can swim with me, don’t worry about them hurting me. The catering team led by the German chef Alex changed our styles to make buffets for us every day, Italian night, sea food night, and Maldives cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is just what we like. The hotel also arranged activities such as chasing dolphins at sea, snorkeling at sea, introduction to the world under the sea, etc. My partner and I are 100% satisfied with this experience!

Before even arriving in the Maldives, the staff has been emailing to coordinate transportation and make sure I get to the island ok. The staff were all very sweet and accommodating. Even at the end as we were getting picked up by the boat, one of the employees rode his bike over to the dock to return a power bank that was left in the room. The rooms were clean and cool, bathrooms were great except a little hot sometimes in the day. We stayed on the top floor, which was nice for the view and even privacy, but was a lot of steps to go up and down. I loved that they have items to use, like surfboards and snorkeling items... come early so they have your size as I didn't get the flippers one day. The bikini area is a short walk away. The beach just outside of the hotel is a great place to people watch around 4 or 5 pm when the sun starts to set. Food at the hotel was good, so long as they have the items, but I'm not sure if that was an offseason or ramadan issue and not because the hotel.
