Location is great near main roads/highways in/out of the area. Staff was super helpful in answering any questions, following through on requests, etc. (especially Linda, she is awesome). Has food locations on site (including Starbucks) and a small gift/supplies shop. Plenty of room, it's a good size venue. If anything, the decor and ambiance is a bit dated and needs updating. But the room was big, the mattress was comfy, and the view from upper floor was good. Good experience overall and would recommend for sure as an affordable option in the area. Note that it is a long way from Levi's Stadium, and you need to take either a car (don't recommend that because the parking/driving situation at the stadium is insane), Uber/Lyft (very expensive but it gets you semi-close, with some blocks to walk remaining), or light rail (very close by, super cheap, but very crowded).

JUST SAY NO. MASSIVE communication failure and inconsistent policy between this location and their main reservations. I made a reservation for my son through their main reservation line. The man arranging this reservation said I needed to provide a credit card authorization form to the hotel, in order for me to pay for the stay (I would not be staying, merely trying to reserve a room for my son as a gift for his move to Hawaii). I completed the form and forwarded to the email they provided. When my son tried to check in, the reception desk guy wouldn’t allow him to check in, as he had no CC authorization form. Now, anticipating situations like this, I also sent a copy of the form to my son. The receptionist refused to accept my son’s copy and told him that I needed to email it directly to his email at the hotel. So I did, and then called the hotel directly to follow up on its receipt. At this point, after a lengthy hold, the night manager told me that they do not accept personal CC authorizations at his location and they would not honor or process my payment!! I will be calling their main reservations tomorrow. I hate to be a Karen but there are some real issues going on here… not to mention two individuals now have all of my credit card information, my address, my phone number. Unprofessional and not recommended, consider other options and save yourself potential headaches.

This has been our go to hotel for the San Jose area. Close to the airport with shuttle service. This time a bit of the hotel was under renovation so things were a bit different. Breakfast was in a separate conference room building but the selection was still good. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Cons: (1) We didn't care for the shower heads - restrictor head creates thin and almost stinging experience. No adjustments are possible. (2) Housekeeping was requested every two days but we did not receive the service during our 4 nights there. I had to go to front desk for extra washcloths, some hand soap and I found a housekeeper down the hall to empty our full trash cans.

This is a basic hotel, nothing more nothing less. The hotel is in a good location and has safe surrounding areas. The hotel has a pool and very clean and nice gym. Unfortunately no hot tub. The room was a basic Hyatt place room and shower bathroom. The room was clean and no complaints. If you want something basic and no frills it’s fine and is clean and safe. If you want something beyond that then I would look elsewhere.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now . All the staff has always made us feel so welcome but the one that really stands out is Debenncy. I recognize her attributes and she’s honest and sincere and goes out of her way to make sure whatever it is you may need- that it’s handled . It’s rare to meet people that do things from their heart and actually care and when you find it it’s definitely appreciated. Debenncy gives her job 100%. I would also like to mention the one employee that’s a “ handy man” , he’s been working there since we have been coming here. He needs to learn that he’s no better then any one else and the way he acts is extremely ugly. We all hopefully learn in this life that we are all people and equal and until your perfect then you can judge the next . Thank you Motel 6 you all are appreciated!!

Nice to cook and fried two steaks. Breakfast in the room, parking is not expensive, not far from Google and Apple headquarters, ten minutes drive. Drive from Los Angeles to Highway 1, the last stop is the stopover. Mainly the San Francisco hotel is really too expensive and old.

Upon arrival, the shuttle was parked in the entrance driveway so we had to park in the alley and haul our luggage through the parking garage - no assistance from Marriott staff and no luggage carts were staged to make this task easier. I am an Ambassador elite member and should have been given complimentary water at checkin, but no water was offered. We were also not able to access the enhanced internet during the two days that we were at this property. The login screen said the information I entered did not match the hotel’s registration information. Marriott management was totally unresponsive in addressing the problem and Marriott IT (somewhere in Canada) was unable to help - my call was “dropped” after a few minutes. There were no USB connections for charging phones and the electric plugs provided by bedside table lamp was loose fitting and non-functional. I had to unplug the hotel phone to use the wall receptacle for charging my mobile phone. I did like the layout of the room but did not like the use of opaque glass on the doors that separated the toilet enclosure and shower enclosure from the bedroom area. These doors allow light to enter the room at night which may disturb anyone else in the room who is sleeping. The hotel “restaurant” is a seating area near the bar and the bartender was the waiter; the “kitchen” was behind a wall and not visible. We were unable to get coffee from the “restaurant” or bar in the evening - there was no way for bartender to make fresh coffee. Our experience at this Marriott property is not what we expect from Marriott and our stay here was a huge disappointment to say the least.

The hotel's facilities and environment are still good, it only opened in 2021, very new. When I booked it before, I said that there was a kitchen, but there was no actual kitchen. In addition, other experiences were not bad.

My stay was for one night. The room was not the cleanest, the pool wasn't open and the laundry facilities were closed. This location doesn't have a restaurant or breakfast. For a place to sleep and shower the price was right.

This review would have been a 2-star review because the hotel is: 1. Constantly short on staff 2. Inconsistent Maid service 3. Multiple fire alarms However, a superb staff Gina has gone out of her way to make me and many other guests feel at home. She goes out of her way to solve guests problems and at times doing more than one person's job because this hotel is so short staffed. Because of Gina, I am raising this hotel's review from 2-stars to 4-stars. Without Gina, this hotel deserves a 2-star review.

No frills but an all around pleasant stay during a family/business visit. The hotel has recently been refurbished and rooms are nice and well equiped. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers excellent healthy breakfast options. Only gripe is the open bathroom layout which really is not my thing, especially when not traveling alone. There was a sliding door seperating the toilet/shower from the rest of the room but it offered little in terms of sound isolation. No reservations about recommending this hotel to fellow travelers and would stay here again as a solo traveler on a next trip to Santa Clara.

The room is clean and the surrounding facilities are complete. We happened to stay during the Christmas period. There was a light show on the stadium next to it. The festive atmosphere was strong and there were many people. Because the tickets were sold out, we could only watch it from the outside, which was a bit regretful.

Fortunately I only spent one night here. I was surprised by the lack of basic service and amenities: Before my arrival, I used the chat feature to ask about parking but never received a response. Upon arrival, the employee at the front desk was unfriendly and charged me for parking without my consent. I asked about parking, making clear I was trying to decide whether to park my car at the hotel or somewhere else. She told me it was $35 for in and out privileges, I asked how much it would cost to park directly in the lot (since I did not need to go in and out) and she said ”I think it's $22 but just bring me your ticket” in a pretty rude tone. I was taken aback by her tone so I did not continue to engage in the conversation and I did not respond confirming I wanted parking, expecting I would pay directly with the lot, and later learned she charged me $35 anyway, plus a $5 tax she did not mention. No acknowledgement of Marriott Gold status, no upgrade, no explanation. I don't know if I received a welcome gift. The air conditioning in my room was not working, and there was a comically large plastic fan next to the TV. When I arrived to my room at 10 PM it was 80 degrees, so the fan was useful but I feel like they should probably fix the air conditioning or at least warn the occupant that it's broken. I would not stay here again.

Even during COVID-19 -- Marriott Residence Inn was a great stay! I always prefer to stay at Marriott Residence Inn when I travel -- because these rooms are ”mini condos” with bed, kitchen, living room, and laundromat. This stay was different -- I just wanted to have some quiet time from family during COVID-19. I'm on Weight Watchers -- so being able to bring + cook my own food worked for me when I didn't go out to eat. I was fortunate to get a room on the end -- so it was quiet which I liked. Usually this hotel room has plates, pots, pans, utensils -- all that you need in a kitchen -- but it was all taken out. I was glad to use my own plates, pans + utensils. Better safe. If I needed anything - hotel staff was just a phone call away. The hardest part was parking -- it was packed because we couldn't go anywhere during COVID-19 shutdown, even beaches were closed.

Soundproofing is very bad, very noisy at night 1. The sound of the air conditioner is very noisy, and I can hear the sound of the host next door. 2. If you close the door, there is no light hand, you can hear it here and you will be woken up at night.

Large rooms, very clean, location in the CBD is very expensive during the conference, this is what Silicon Valley looks like. Backstage computing power is strong, I know when the number of passengers will go up immediately, the off-season is said to be cost-effective
