They were there to greet me after my flight arrived two hours late, helped me book a tour of Hue, a Visa run to Lao Bao & back and a bus to Da Nang all with very little notice. |1.3km from city centerI had a 2-night trip to Hue in the last days of March 2023, choosing a place for me to have a good experience for this trip is very difficult. Fortunately, I was introduced to Kha Hotel by a friend because they had a good experience here. The hotel is located in a small alley but inside the room furniture is very complete. Entering the hotel was a very welcoming receptionist and I was confirmed in great detail by the staff. The staff is always there every time I need support, I don't need to worry about the cost of vehicles because there are free bikes here. Since the hotel is located on the walking street and right in the city centre, I can go around the Hue citadel or Perfume River. The room is clean, the bed is good, the air conditioning, the heater is always turned on every time you take a shower, free wifi is very good. There are also bus tickets here, so I don't need to go far to buy them. If you don't have much cost, they will introduce you to places you can go to with cheaper fares, affordable room rates including breakfast. The breakfast was eye-catching and palatasteful, I loved coffee so I asked more, they were very generous to give me more coffee. They also care about us when it's almost raining, they have umbrellas available to lend to us. I think our trip to Hue this time is perfect to be here. A place worth recommending to all my friends if you come to Hue.

What I am most satisfied with here is the staff (Nhi, Thao, Tai, with the sister at the front desk forgot to ask for the name) were very enthusiastic, helped and guided us attentively. The location of the hotel is very convenient for eating and playing. Early in the morning, you can walk around the Perfume River to enjoy the fresh air. In the evening, walk around Truong Tien bridge to enjoy the scenery and check in by the river with the lights, then walk the streets to feel the bustle and bustle of Hue at night. Although it is not on the main street, the path to enter is very short, the floor tiles are very flat, and the environment is very clean, unlike many small Vietnamese alleys. While waiting to be processed, we will provide free delicious juices and fruits, ask if you need to book a drop-off service, and deliver your luggage to your room first. After you finish eating, you will be sent to your room, and a particularly detailed and tidy map will be provided, suggesting your travel route according to your schedule, and telling all attractions the opening time. There is another fruit in the room! The room is not too big but it is enough, the decoration is very elegant and exquisite, and the sanitation level is no exaggeration to say that it is a five-star level, which is the best among so many hotels in Vietnam. The soundproofing of the room is very good. The room opposite to me is the SPA room. No noise was heard all day. Clean rooms and bathrooms, great breakfast served in the morning. Was able to book a scooter with them to drive the Hai Van Pass to Hoi An. They shipped my bag off to my hostel in Hoi An worry-free. I was able to drive the pass with two other guests who had easy riders. The easy riders were also very friendly and driving with them was so much fun!

|12.88km from city centerMy family and I spent the entire Chinese New Year holiday in Hue, and Anna Mandela Beach Resort brought me a great surprise. We have stayed at 4 resorts in total (including one in Hoi An). I personally think that Anna Mandela is the most surprising of these four, and the one with the most comprehensive cost performance.
From Hue Railway Station, my family and I have enjoyed the meticulous service of Anna Mandela. Although the train was more than 3 hours late, as soon as we got out of the platform, the driver gave us cold towels under the hot sun. And drinking water. An aunt from France welcomed us at the front desk. She was very kind, friendly and dedicated. Her personal behavior set a high standard for the service of the resort. She happily introduced us to everything about the resort and every detail of the room, as if she was sharing with us the treasure she is proud of; when she found that there were only two ice cream vouchers in the room, she quickly went back and gave them to my daughter Last one; she treated me and my family like friends, so that I would think that I was a guest at her house, not a hotel.
Anna Mandela Beach Resort is small and exquisite. Although it is a distance from the city of Hue, this means that you can enjoy the magnificent and peaceful Shun An Beach. The sand on the beach is very thin and gentle. You can walk to Far away from the sea. The free shuttle bus provided by the resort can satisfy any exploration of Hue and it is also convenient for you to enjoy the rich nightlife of Hue.
Although I booked the most basic room type, even the most common room type was very satisfying. The rooms and bathrooms were large, with simple Southeast Asian style wood decoration, warm and comfortable. There is a huge platform and a soft lounge chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. It also has direct access to the garden and swimming pool, and is only a few steps away from the beach.
My six-year-old daughter loves the blue swimming pool. She spends the whole day in the swimming pool. The swimming pool is very clean and few people. My daughter is also particularly obsessed with catching crabs on the beach. I would like to add some marine sports, such as kayaking, surfboards, standing rowing boats, etc.
I have regretted that I only stayed two nights at Anna Mandela. If I come back next time, I hope to stay for a week, so that I have enough time to slowly taste the quiet and blue beauty here, and the food in the restaurant. .

The host was very friendly and answered all our questions and helped us with information around the city. The walking street is not far away and you can reach nice Cafés and Restaurants in a few minutes walk. So it‘s a very good place to stay!

|0.58km from city centerI really enjoyed my stay here. I turned up after a huge ride in the rain and as soon as l arrived (still raining) the staff came out and helped me straight away. They could see that l was soaking wet, cold and tired and they just checked me in straight away and even took my bags up to my room and hung my jackets up to dry. They couldn’t have been more helpful and everyday they made me feel so welcome. I was only booked in for a night tho l stayed 3nights in a large corner room which was great size with a huge TV which had many English channels. There is abit of construction going on outside tho it didn’t bother me. For the price and location l would highly recommend.

It’s in a great location but feels private and remote, and the staff was incredibly helpful. We particularly appreciated the early check in so we could shower after a long overnight train ride. You can sit down at the table and suddenly other people will join you for a good time. I had many awesome conversations at the table. The owner Rin, is so soft spoken. He makes you feel welcome. I won't see this guy anger. He is so relaxed and chill it's inviting. I visited Hue with family and friends and stayed for two months. This place was one of my many stays and it was on top of my list due to how comfortable it was. This is my home away from home. I will be stopping by here next time I'm in the area. Ask for Rin. You'll see what I mean.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is breakfast. We went south from northern Vietnam all the way and lived in 8 hotels. Their breakfast was very good. My only non positive comment is a slight lack of process and consistency. The staff were lovely and attentive but the spa experience process needed a little sharpening up, the consistency of drink and table presentation in the dining room was a little haphazard and housekeeping also was a little inconsistent. Small things but just bot quite to the standard of the property. Would still recommend though!

I definitely recommend staying there for at least one night to not only try the Onsen (Spa) Package, but also experiencing the view to Hue's almost untouched nature outside the rice paddy fields. Besides the breakfast classics, the hearty breakfast buffet at the Resort also offers many Vietnamese and Hue specialties to try such as Pho, Bun Bo Hue and various Banh (savory cakes traditionally wrapped in leaves). For us, the highlight was still the calmness and breathtaking view this Hotel has to offer. Anyone who is seeking a little break from the constant noise of the city, will surely find it here.
