From the first moment we arrived, I felt cared for, attended to and at home. We arrived late at night and Emilios and Kosmos, the two brothers running Green Apartments, were friendly, helpful and accomodating as they set us up for a nice sleep after a long journey. The apartments are well equipped with things you would need to cook, make coffee, etc. There is a wonderful patio where I drank my coffee each morning surrounded by nature. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in!! They come to change the towels, take out the garbage and are just a call away if there are any problems or questions. The wifi was great and the service excellent! Emilios and Kosmos went out of there way to make us feel at home. They gave us wonderful recommendations around the apartments and beyond, informed us about the special experiences they offer (electric bikes tours all around Athens! Wonderful!) and were some of the kindest and most genuine people I have met in my travels. I would recommend this stay completely. It is a perfect gem that will give you a reprieve from the Athens activity while providing you with sincere hospitality and warmth. Don't hesitate to book a stay here!

We recently spent eight nights at Pi Athens and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room (Pi 1) was spacious and very comfortable for our family of four. The included breakfast had a nice selection of breads, cereal, meats, cheese, coffee, fresh orange juice, and omelettes. A great way to start the day. The location is ideal- a nice neighborhood on the edge of the more touristy area. Thus, the best of both worlds. A 20-25 minute walk to all the sights in one direction and a short walk in the opposite direction to local restaurants and bars. The small staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, because the hotel is so small- five or six rooms- staff is not always around so you need to be fairly independent. Would definitely stay here again.

The Olympus Residence is an excellent home way from home while in Athens. We stayed there for the Athens Marathon because it is handy to the finish line at the Panathenaic Stadium. The Olympus Residence is also close to major sites like the Acropolis and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. A metro station is 600 metres away too. We stayed in the Hekate room. It is the only room in the basement, has a large patio, kitchenette, and the laundry and gym re close by. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. (After the marathon, a bathtub would have been nice but we knew there was only a shower when we booked the room.) Our flight left Athens at midnight and the hotel (thank you, Carolina), enabled us to check out at 7p.m. for a charge we thought was reasonable. We were grateful for the service and understanding. (Also, the laundry was free and soap was provided.) The residence also has a comprehensive binder of information about local amenities and restaurants in the rooms. We found the binder very helpful. We would highly recommend the Olympus Residence.

I truly appreciate the 24/7 staff on the reception. We came in pretty late from our flight but the receptionist was still very courteous, helped us with our luggages, gave tips around the neighborhood and book our taxi for that day. The location is within the vicinity of the tourist spots but note that it will take you a 20-minute walk - either to the direction of Acropolis or to Lycabettus Hill. It is more near the modern stadium. We had the basement room and it was quite small. We had 2 big luggages and to open both, one will block the entrance to the bathroom. We are two small, petite Asian girls and found the room small so that's already an indication. But then again, this room is cheaper so up to you if cost vs comfort.

My Lover took me there when I visited Athens last year and I was positively surprised. The room was very clean and I loved the cheezy decoration. The hottub really was fun. I just didnt like the strange orange bathroom, but everything else was great really

Stayed here for 3 nights - great location and good value for money. Walking distance to the Plaka and Hadrian's Arch. We had to make contact with the apartment before arriving, advising time we'd arrive as this property does not have a reception. We were met, handed the keys and instructions and given a phone number in case we needed help with anything. We stayed in the 2-bedroomed apartment with a balcony. Although noisy if sitting on the balcony, once you closed the door you heard no noise. The apartment was really clean and had everything we needed. The kitchenette had the basics, but adequate for our needs. There was a bakery and little deli supermarket around the corner, as well as a couple of local restaurants very close by. I'd highly recommend this property.

My sister and I visited Athens for the first time and we were very impressed with the Divani Caravel. We received a COVID friendly reception and were fortunate to be upgraded to an executive room. The hotel was quiet but that was to be expected and the restaurant was closed however 24 hour room service could be arranged if wished. We ate out locally and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. Highly recommend the rooftop pool and bar having enjoyed Cosmopolitans overlooking the Acropolis and Parthenon at dusk when the sunset was magnificent and were able to see the lights switch on at the Acropolis. Would return again as Divani Caravel was located in a good location. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious with plentiful supplies of toiletries. Thank you for a wonderful stay would have no hesitation in returning.

Omonia
Extremely noisy place. 3 lane street downhill, dont take a room facing the main street. Asked for a silent rooms when booking but got the worst, had to spend one night without sleep, as they could not change first night, despite our request when booked. Room at the back are dark with milky windows. Chabby, no ventilation etc, they use perfumes to fix the air. Bad beds, worn out here and there. Had to ask for changing one. Breakfast poor quality, old eggs, Juices were syrups really, etc. The square outside is a sleeping area for homeless and chabby blocks behind the hotel. A bit far from main attractions as well. Reception helpful to say something positive..... We paid 110:-/night, (Oct 2019) ~50:- would be more appropriate. Got over charged by 110:- as well, had to deal with that also. Look for another hotel! "3 Swedes"

Good, well-maintained hotel near Acropolis, Parthenon, Placa. All major tourist attractions are well within walking distance. We took a family room meant for four persons. It's tastefully decorated providing all required amenities. The balcony attached to the room, overlooking the busy street below, is an added advantage. We spent a lot of time there. A good breakfast was provided. We especially liked the high quality of their boiled egg. Staff members were always helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Metaxourgeio
I stayed at Crystal City for 11 nights. The room was a good size for me, although the bathroom was a little small, and could maybe benefit from a shelf or two. There is a fridge provided in the room, a kettle for making coffee & tea, and a safe. I found the heating system a little quirky, but ok once I figured out how to use it. Being at the back, my room was pretty quiet, although the view wasn't brilliant as it backed onto other hotels. The free breakfast provided was more than adequate, with a large choice of food- pretty much any option, including eggs, sausages, cerial, bread, cheeses & cold meats, you name it. The coffee from the machine could be better though! The hotel is minutes from the metro (Metaxourgeio station on the red line), and close to bus & trolley lines. It's located just off Karaiskaki Square, which is within walking distance of Omonoia, Syntagma & the Plaka area, the Acropoli & the museums. The free WiFi was great throughout, and the TV in the room was fine. The staff were generally friendly & helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Psiri / Monastiraki
This is the Monastiraki Plaza Hotel. There are actually two 360-degree hotels. The hotel is about 100 meters away from the street next door. There is also a 360-degree hotel. The front desk and hotel are much better than this one. I have seen it on the spot. Later, I found that the hotel used a photo of another hotel. The entrance of this hotel is very small. It is not easy to find. I missed it twice to find the door. I went to another 360-degree hotel and asked if they were a family, but obviously another. The family is much better than this one, and I don’t know how to book it. This is the feeling that the front desk is very small and a little small hotel. The breakfast should go around the roof and go down to the restaurant to eat. There is only one cup of orange juice per person. Going out is the hotel, there is also a grilled corn, 2 euros, tastes good, walking to the Acropolis, but the Acropolis is on the top of the mountain, climbing up requires physical strength, if you live in another 360-degree hotel, you can watch the balcony The panoramic view of the city, the airport to the hotel 10 euros direct subway, especially convenient, the Constitution Square can walk in the past, the subway will be one or two stations, there are many restaurants nearby, it is said that there is a red light district, The square is particularly lively, that is, the little girl who sells roses, tells you that it is free, but I really don’t dare to accept it. The law and order is not good, there are many black people. In fact, the opposite A for Athens (A Athens) hotel is also good. It should be better than 360 degrees, the price is almost the same, try A for Athens next time.

I spent two nights at Athens Sofitel, while having a Coronavirus test at the airport, and waiting for the result, before flying. The convenience of the hotel is superb and I was given a free upgrade, without asking, which was a lovely touch. Due to Covid, the services are limited. Breakfast is served in your room, on a tray. The breakfast was overpriced and not very good. The first day was a cold bowl of scrambled eggs, together with ham, cheese, bread rolls and croissant + orange juice and nice coffee. The second day I opted for the fruit and yogurt breakfast which was nicer, but vastly overpriced (pear; cornflakes; yogurt + breadroll, croissants, orange juice, coffee). In no way does this compare with a buffet breakfast. The tray was not collected, nor was my room serviced. The wifi was patchy and kept cutting out. The hot water in the shower turned cold and hot while showering. The hotel room looked beautiful, but I expected a higher level of service and facilities. If these could not be provided due to Covid, then I think this should be made clearer and a discount provided.

we were actually upgraded to this hotel but were actually booked with hotel Delphi Art..the latter had some issues with electricity supply to the room and since the booking was pre-paid we were automatically upgraded on arrival to Athens and the icing on the cake..they booked and paid for the cab for our transfer to the hotel.. the room was great and cosy, the bathroom was however, pretty small for the size of the room and obstructed free movement with opening and closing of the door. we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary red wine and snacks in the room, they also had provision for tea and coffee and a bottle of water... the complementary breakfast (another great offer made by Delphi Art as part of the upgradation) had an amazing and veritable menu..pretty sumptous the elevator was however very small, mentioned for two people but I doubt so. the neighbourhood is not the very best and it gets a little worrisome at night, especially if you are a female solo traveller...the location is very close to Omonia square metro station, just take the Ag Constantinou exit and couple of blocks...although we never had any issue but doesn't feel very safe at night. The staff was very helpful and helped us with recommendations..especially with the proper delivery of our delayed check-in baggage which arrived a day later from Abu Dhabi
