The train station has to take a stop on the S light rail in the past, and the Chinese traveled by the youth travellers, the communication is very smooth. The girl at the front desk also sent a bottle of Baique Antelope Hand Cream, which made her hands no longer chapped and painful in the days of wandering in Europe. I am very grateful! The room is a bit small but very clean, there is a small supermarket opened by the Chinese downstairs, everything is fine, except that the price is a bit expensive.

Just finished a 4 night stay here. While the front desk staff was very nice and the property pretty new, a few things came up that will make me stay away next time. 1. As a welcome amenity I selected the F&B credit and was told it wouldn’t apply to breakfast. Huh? The onsite restaurant only offered a 20 Euro buffet and it wasn’t worth paying that amount but with the F&B credit it would have been OK. I never had breakfast excluded from a F&B credit before! As a Bonvoy Elite member I have stayed at various properties, not a single one ever told me I can't use the credit for breakfast. 2. One morning I woke to a young man entering my room. When I jumped out of bed he quickly ran out but I caught him in the hallway asking for an explanation why he would enter a room with a ‘do not disturb’ sign. He then pretended not to speak English. I switched to German and he tried to get out by saying I only displayed the English side of the sign and that wouldn’t mean the same and he could come in. I contacted the front desk and they promised to escalate it to management, but I never heard back from anyone. This is a huge safety concern but no one addressed it. 3. The hotel’s outside wasn’t cleaned the entire time we were there. Over 4 days we were greeted by the same dirty qtip and growing number of cigarette butts. 4. We were waiting to meet with a family member, and he had contacted the front desk to leave us a message but that message was only quickly mentioned at check out. He had called 4 days earlier ☹ 5. There is a huge TV across the bar, great to watch sports but… on all 4 days we overheard people asking to see live soccer and every time they were told no one could find the remote so people need to watch re-runs of old games. Not sure what that was about, but it sure left a weird taste and a lot of people seemed unhappy. 6. The billing system on the in-room TV screen is absolutely nuts. According to that we had racked up around 1,700 Euros on our hotel bill in the first 2 days. Mostly restaurant charges. The front desk knew about the issue but was told it had been fixed. They adjusted all but it’s still quite the shock to see that bill on the screen. We left very disappointed.

The room is relatively large and the sanitary condition is okay. But it looks very old, maybe because the carpet and the wall are all red. I have become accustomed to Ctrip booking rooms are always first and last rooms or irregular room types, this time is no exception. The breakfast is ok, it is basic, all western food. The location is good, two or three blocks away is the train station, then the commercial street, you can walk to the city hall and the Maiden's Causeway, and the airport is also S1 direct. As previously mentioned by netizens, there are many blacks and Arabs around. Although there is no danger, they do feel scared. The real large supermarket is diagonally opposite the hotel, and there is a Lidl poor supermarket on the street behind the hotel, which makes shopping more convenient.

Seriously, the hotel is completely worthy of such a cheap price (RMB 158 yuan) feels like no money, thanks to Ctrip to provide such a favorable price, although it is a six-person bunk (the room has a bathroom and bathroom, is separated The two small rooms separated by the bathroom guard) also have cabinets for personal items (can put down big backpacks, can't put down the suitcases). The girls who live together don't know each other but are very friendly. They are very conscious and silent. The noise from the train was not heard near the train. The hotel has two front and rear doors. It seems that there is no parking at the door, but there is a parking place not far from the doorway on the side of the train. I don't know if it is charged (look like free). The hotel is chained, not far from another one with the same name. At first, I found another by navigation. (I have to say that this address is indeed misleading. I found the wrong one by navigation.) The German guy at the front desk also showed A little German humor, tell me to book another one, about five hours away from walking (when walking five hours) what? what? What? Surprised, I almost collapsed, and then he said a bad smile: wo, no no, five minutes, the actual walk is twelve minutes. The location of the hotel is not far from the Hamburg train station, 18 minutes walk (not originally large in Hamburg). However, the surrounding area is not prosperous, there are no supermarkets and restaurants near, and there is a shop selling motorcycle supplies. The next day, I went to the train station for training. Because I got a taxi in the past, the taxi cost 8.1 euros, and the taxi was more than ten euros.

Stayed at the Superbude St Georg over the weekend only for one night. I was suprised at the quality of a hostel. It's a lot better than some hotels I've stayed in. Quick and polite check in and because we arrived early there was a room to put our belongings in. We had the breakfast for 9.90 which was a selection of cereals, fruits, breads, meats, cheese, waffles and drinks. Help yourself buffet and communal seating. It had a funky and trendy feel to the hotel and we had a laugh at the singing fish in the bathroom. Very clean and spacious room with a lovely powerful shower. Would definately return if we came back to Hamburg which btw is a fab city to explore.

Great place to stay for a weekend, don't let the reviews steer you away from here. So ok - the map is wrong when booking, the map takes you to a door near a closed down nightclub/pub called S.l.u.t For anyone who books this: Go to this address: Steindamm 52, 20099 Hamburg. Collect the keys & they will show you where to go. (It's not above s.l.u.t nightclub) It's down beside Lidl and Polizei station. I hope this helps. Like this review to help others out & save them the hassle.

First of all I have to disagree with reviewers who have said this hotel is in a bad/dangerous neighbourhood. The street where City House is located felt perfectly safe to me, and I never felt uncomfortable wandering in the surrounding streets. Personally I don't feel uneasy in a mixed-race area where people are just getting on with their lives and not threatening the visitors. In fact, I felt much less wary here than in the touristy areas the other side of the railway station which are much busier and attract pickpockets. We chose a standard room for our two night stay. The shower room was small but had an excellent shower, and there was also a dressing room with lots of wardrobe space and room for our large suitcases to be stored out of the way. Our room was on the street side, but we didn't hear a sound at nights. All staff at City House are friendly and helpful, and the desk is staffed 24 hours a day. I like the old-fashioned décor which give a homely feel, much better than bland chain hotels. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the railway station. For shopping and eating, Lange Reihe with its interesting shops and wide range of restaurants is just a stroll away. The only thing I'd ask the hotel to add would be plant milk at breakfast. The world is now full of vegans!

The subway U1 Lohmülenstr stands out as a hotel with convenient transportation. Requires the upper level to be satisfied (staying on the 14th floor with good views). The suite is relatively large, with a double bed + a single bed in the corner, as well as a writing desk and lockers. The spare hanger is basically enough for up to 3 people. To sleep in a single bed, the waiter is required to lay the sheets in advance. The room has an extra set of bedding for the single bed (not including bed linen). The room has air conditioning, electric kettle, hair dryer and small fridge. The toilet and bathroom are separate, the toilet is close to the door, and the bathroom is close to the bed. The bed and the small bed can be separated by 3 straw curtains, and the privacy is good. Each window has a stretchable sun visor, in addition to the main window also has a straw curtain. The soundproofing effect of the room was average. In the last two days, the room in the next room was a bit noisy. The attitude of the cleaning staff is average (the black attitude is the same). The front desk staff is better. There is an Asian restaurant downstairs in the hotel. There is a lidl supermarket not far from nearby. Overall feels good.

Fantastic location for getting around the City (especially on foot). thee breakfast was good, generous, varied and fresh (look out for the scrambled egg in a covered turine - we didn't find them for a few days. Very close to the central station and Hansaplatz which has some nice restautarant bars etc. Also close to Lange Reihe which is bigger with lots more restaurants and bars although a lot seemed to be Spanish/French/Portugese/Italian rather than Gernam. Situated on a street with a strong Turkish influence, lots of fresh fruit on sale so it's a shame we weren't self catering!! Also the street behind (which our room looked onto) had what appeared to 'house of ill repute' on it and attracted people that looked like they were 'a bit out of it' - lots of shouting at various points in the day/night and the police attended frequently. The hotel is a little tired and could do with an update but it is clean and the staff are friendly. Be aware if you have mobility issues though the lift only goes to the fourth floor and the breakfast room is up a spiral staircase to the fifth floor. I managed but with arthritis in both knees it was a struggle. It is very good value for money for a city centre hotel. I suppose the test is would I stay again and I'm happy to say I would.
