We live here light now. Good hotel with good location. Restaurant service really bad. They stress so much and takes your food before you are done. My daughter asked for ketchup to her eggs in the morning, this was a big NO. A girl working in breakfast in the morning she was really bad and rude. They know nothing about service. My daughter didnt eat because they took her plate with food before she was finished ät dinner buffe. And then they said buffé closed. Water with gas only at dinner. No breakfast no lunch. We asked many Times because my mother har diabetics. When you explain problems they said they dont understand English. But later when they wanna sell drinks, they can speak. Animation team really Good and reception. But restaurant bad.

Amazing hotel and staff especially. Big mentions to Nazim the bar tender at the pool. He's always got a smile on his face and made us laugh. Also huge thank you to the reception staff, especially Necati who went above and beyond to contact our transfer supplier who were ignoring our calls, he honestly helped out more than he probably should have. So thank you! The hotel is very clean and only a 5 minute journey in a taxi to the centre of Alanya where the night life is amazing. Lots of amazing restaurants. The only let down was the breakfast in the morning which wasn't the greatest, and the pool food in the afternoon which was honestly just burgers and chips every day. However the restaurant was open in the afternoon for lunch and the selection and quality was 100x better. The evening meals again were okay, it was always turkish cuisine which I didn't mind as its basically just well seasoned and cooked chicken/turkey/beef/lamb/veal with rice, salad and stuffed pita breads. But we ate in one night and out the next for the whole 2 weeks we were here and never had any illness so can guarantee the food is cooked well, you just have to like the Turkish cuisine I guess. Due to corona virus pandemic there was no night time entertainment as advertised which was a shame, however the beach is literally a 2 minute walk under the main road and the sea is surprisingly warm at night. But overall would say we both had an amazing time but as others have mentioned would have to say its definitely not a 5* anymore, but a good 4*.

My parents stayed for 8 day in this crapy hotel. It maybe cheap because the rooms and food is such a disaster. The beach is near, but never ever pay for HB, they have a habit of recaikiling the food. Terrible place.

One-price all-inclusive hotel, the staff is passionate about people. The overall hotel is not very large, but it is more suitable for the whole family. The hotel can go directly to the beach, the water in the Mediterranean is very clean, I heard that there is a therapeutic effect, soaking for 1 hour a day. There are fish in the water, the buoyancy of the water is great, and the swimming feeling is great.

This is the first and last time in this hotel for me!!! They don not have basic thing in the room like phone and fridge! Our linen suppose to be changed every three days yaaa we wished after fight with one lady from housekeeping finally they change them on the 5th day luckily we had two days excursion the second day! We had to ask two times receptionist on front desk for that without result! We run out of toilet paper and we had to take from front desk! Ohhh other thing ice omg!!I don not know who like to drink warm white wine but definitely not me and every time i asked for ice the answer was no ee don't have although they had just somebody has to bring it from the ice machine!! The walls arr so thin that you have the feeling that the neighbors are in your room! The food was almost the same every day! Internet connection sooo bad and only in the lobby or the restaurant area.If you want to use iron 2$ per hour! Most of the staff doesn't speak english only russian!Soo that is my opinion never ever in this hotel!!

I have never written a travel review before and I am cautious that people will think that I am moaning for the sake of it as some reviews I think the same but here goes. I was really happy to get away from the UK for two weeks for a break and on arrival at Kaila Beach reception I thought wow this is the place. That's where it ended. Room looks great on first glance until you notice the smell coming from the bathroom and the wallpaper coming off the walls. Being on the sixth floor you're really repaint on lifts but there's only two serving the whole hotel so expect a long wait or a massive trek up the stairs. Commission guys are based in the hotel, 5 of them. They love the English therefore we are hassled day in day out. It doesn't matter to them that they wake me up on the pool sunbed as long as they get a sale. We are 11 days in and they have only just left us alone. This hotel is supposed to be an all inclusive but take this with a pinch of salt as snacks are restricted so if you have kids like me they will be disappointed. You can only have cakes at 4pm and ice cream at 5.30pm. You can have hamburgers and chips 12-4 but only if you go to the beach so if you want a pool day you will have to pay extra for hamburgers and chips or wait until lunch to go to the restaurant where swimwear is not allowed therefore you have to interrupt a day of fun at the pool with the kids to eat. Drinks. Alcohol is free at the pool bar but chargeable at the beach. This is definitely not all inclusive. I dont expect free snacks 24 hours a day but to restrict to this level is a joke. The food. If you dont mind eating the same thing day in day out then this will be fine for you. And no I'm not exaggerating the food really does not change. There is a really good pizza/cafe bar round the corner which is very reasonable price wise and the food is amazing. Its called Enberi and we have spent a lot of money in there on top of what we paid for the holiday as the food is that bad in the hotel. Breakfast. They have two drinks stations but only ever open one so expect to queue for a good 10 minutes to get your morning coffee. Again breakfast is exactly the same day in day out. Staff. Most reception staff are rude. Kaia speaks good English and is helpful, the rest of reception staff don't bother you won't get anywhere with them they don't care. Akhmed who looks after the kids pool is amazing, very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for him, he will go out of his way to make you happy. Pascal is also another good member of staff,he is also extremely helpful and his English is very good. There are also two young members of staff at the main pool bar who are really good and offer good service like akhmed and pascal. Unsure if their names, one is called Beret I think! The older members of staff in the hotel who are rude could learn a lot from the younger and more helpful staff members. All in all, Akhmed has made our time bearabl

Ok, this is in no real way a 5* hotel. But gets a full 5 stars from me because of its location, staff and price. The rooms are a little dated, but it’s an old building with high ceilings and a balcony that sits two people comfortably four at a push with the table. Tiles a little dated in the bathroom, but honestly, who spends their holiday in their room, and the room was bigger than some 5* hotels I’ve stayed at. A fridge was brilliant to have but this was in the lower floor room. The staff speak many different languages, so you won’t be stuck at all, the outside of the hotel is a closed street too with no traffic allowed a pedestrian street. less than one minute walk will get you to the beach, caves, cable car to the castle and water park. So don’t be put off by the price, it’s not a hostel, it’s worth more than they are charging due to location but don’t expect a bathroom perfect or the building polished, it’s clean comfortable and the staff are great and I would 100% recommend and come back myself.

Reading all the reviews, we were very dubious about booking this hotel, because it wasn't for the British tourist and almost everyone was Russian. But we booked it anyway and loved every second, yes the Russians cheat the queues, yes they storm the restaurant for breakfast dinner and fight for snacks at the pool bar, and take 2 or 3 plates of food to the table, but they don't live like us so don't expect them to act like us then. We talked to them in English and broken Russian, and quickly won their friendship, we were invited to their tables to eat and drink together, they were so hospitable, so don't be put off, just get to know them. The hotel itself is fine, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, with new towels every day and the beds are made up to look like elephants one day or covered in rose petals. Though the food more suits the Russians there's always something there to eat, the pool is big enough and we always managed to find empty sunbeds, the Russians even took their towels off to free one for us in the sunniest part of the pool area. As a bonus the hotel is right in the centre of the town with shops restaurants bars and excursions all around you, we used Patriot tours opposite the hotel, good prices and he speaks great English. The beach is a 5 minute walk, with plenty to see and do, and try the cable car to the castle in Alanya town, only about £5 return fare with spectacular views.

1st time to Alanya. This hotel was an ok choice. Room wee bit small but had everything including a fridge,a/c and good storage. We had a side view but so close to the hotel next door we could almost shake hands with their guests. No kettle for tea making etc. Housekeeping every 2or 3 days. Staff all pleasant. Big shout out to Celine,Mustafa and Hassan at the bar. Food. Mmm? Well in TURKEY you get Turkey. Cooked in every variation. Bit too much of it on the menu. No sliced bread, juices very dilute and don't know what a poached egg is. Hotel is right on the beach. Nice promenade into town. Pool area very nice. All new . Nice sitting in front terrace people watching while having a nice drink. Drinks ok. Nice that they open fresh bottles for them and not post mix. I taught them how to make Sangria. Spa ok. No beach towels to even hire,so take your own. All in all a fair time. Will we return. Perhaps.

Just got back from a two week stay at the ‘Big Blue’ The first thing I need to state, is that the majority of the reviews submitted for this hotel on trip advisor have obviously been submitted by staff at the hotel. I was approached myself by a staff member on several occasions asking if he could do my trip advisor review on my phone. I found this hilarious and told him so, but it does now make sense reading all the previous reviews, that they are written in bad English and are so similar in content. I am surprised that this not something picked up by ‘TripAdvisor’ as you are supposed to vet the reviews. It leads to a false impression of the hotel. Anyway for my review written by myself The hotel has its good points, in that it is clean, the pool area is good with plenty of sun beds available and soft drinks & snack food are available throughout the day, although note that pool towels are not provided. It’s important that you get to the restaurant on time as the food is not replenished and can be luke warm if you turn up later. The bar staff are unfriendly and quite rude at times, the alcohol drinks available are extremely limited and are of poor quality, the beer is ok but apart from that the wine is also poor. A lot of guests had their own bottles of alcohol and just used the mixers from the bar. Additionally the bar had its stringent rules & regs for example after 10:00pm you couldn’t get more than one drink per person from the bar, this led to long queues. The animation team do their best with limited resources but as I mentioned the reviews give a blinkered representation. The rooms are fine and are cleaned daily. There is air conditioning in the rooms but nowhere else in the hotel, so the reception and lobby area are always very stuffy. The WiFi is limited with no signal available in the rooms. The beach is a 10 minute walk but is really nice and worth a visit. Although the section of beach allocated to the hotel is not ‘all inclusive’ you have to pay for sun beds, drinks and food. The reception staff in particular Irina were very helpful, but I must mention the Reception Manager whom I found rude and actually a bit strange, he patrolled the pool area as if on a military operation, checking that room towels were not being used around the pool and had an irritating habit of putting his arms around you or touching your head, he did this to me on my first evening, which annoyed me greatly. The hotel staff in general did not seem happy to be working for the hotel, which is in contrast to all my previous visits to Turkey. The Turkish evening was really good with excellent food and entertainment. Despite the negatives we had an ok holiday but unsurprisingly will not be planning a return visit.

My friend and I stayed here all inclusive for a week, we paid less that £100 each for the week. The room and bathroom were clean, modern. Beds are very hard. Shower, air con and tv all worked well. Great sea view on balcony (we paid for city view, but could still partially see the beach between other hotels and stunning hills the other way) Most tourists are German and staff at hotel spoke German and Turkish. Some of the staff spoke a little English. Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Tea and Dinner, was basic but great value for what we paid. There are a great number of good restaurants and bars nearby. Wifi worked well. The hotel pool is always in the shade and as it was unheated, was not popular with most guests, except us sunburned brits returning from the beach. Beach is 2 minutes walk away and sunbed vouchers are available at reception. Reception also helped get us a hire car to visit the many tourist sites in the hills behind the Alanya. I would stay here again if on a tight holiday budget.

Today is our last day at this great hotel, we fly back to England tonight. We have had another fantastic time at Ark Suite. We came last year for two weeks and had such a great time we decided to come for three weeks this time. I don't know where the time has gone, it feels like we have just got here. Cannot fault a single thing from the rooms, pools, food, to all of the staff (all of whom are very helpful and speak good English). In relation to other nationalities, it is very diverse, however we have met many English people, along with Finish, Danish and a family from the Philippines (no Russians). Everyone speaks to each other and if you take the time to get involved in the darts or the pool surfing games you will make quick friends - shout out to Pinocchio - superb entertainment manager who does an excellent fire show - thank you. Location is a twenty minute walk to the beach, not a problem, although on a hot day can be tiring, easy to get a taxi from right outside the hotel - 20 lira (£3) cheap as chips. Food obviously mostly Turkish - English breakfast can be had on the shopping strip just before the beach - delicious (35 lira) filled us up until tea time. What more could you want from a holiday, still an excellent hotel.... can't wait to return next year

I was in this hotel twice in two months!. This hotel has absolutely everything you need for a perfect vacation. It is licated just a ten minutes walk to the city center and has own, very well-kept beach and a large pool with bar. The rooms are neat, clean and disinfected and the food varied and very tasty. A special emperor gives this hotel the care of quests. Mr Sezgin and his staff take care of everything and fulfill your every wish. You can enjoy in romatic dinner at the beach or spend your time in amazing spa center! You will experience special pleasure through animation during the day and in the evening. Thank you so much DJ Haribo and Bora for unforgettable gatherings and evenings. My stay at the hotel would not have been possoble without help of the General manager, so thank you very much. My wife and I regularly frequent alanya and wanted to experience the different environment closer to Kleopatra beech. The hotel is placed excellently very close to the beach close to all shops and bars and restaurants. The pool is always clean and a sun trap. The staff were very polite courteous and friendly, house keeping staff ran a tight ship the room was always clean and stocked very well. Maids always eager to clean and present the room in any way you request. Even though the hotel is dated in todays comparison I believe it would loose its vibe and cuteness. It’s does what it says on the tin. The cost of the hotel is unbelievable I can guarantee you will not find better in Alanya period. The hotel is cheaper because It is slightly dated don’t mistake the cost of it for poor service believe me I was pleasantly surprised. Only draw back was avoid the fourth floor if you can early hours of the morning they set the restaurant up for breakfast which is on the fifth floor above gets very noisy and wakes you up. When we stay again we won’t be on the fourth floor but as we don’t usually go to breakfast anyways a room further away from restaurant wouldn’t bother me. The food for breakfast was typical for the location, if you don’t know kleopatra area at all, it’s a destination for Swedish, Norwegian, danish , and Germany so the food is geared around to there needs. Didn’t bother us as we always come to Alanya and already knew this. Above all a great gem in the best location, time to book floor two this time... Would defiantly recommend this place.

Almere park is two buildings, the main building housing the reception is the newer building with the nice pool and slides, it’s where the main bar, restaurant, shop and Turkish bath are housed. The hotels are set in what seems a residential area for locals but once your in the hotels you could be anywhere. We are staying in the second building across the road and it has its own pool and poolside bar, the pool is smaller but is very underused and you could have the pool to yourself or just a few others, more than enough sun beds. The apartment is well enough equipped and is a good size, air conditioning is an extra cost but works well (€6 a day). We stayed B&B and the breakfast is very basic but ok. Drinks at the bar can be a little expensive, they put the cost on the room but you need to settle daily, when your a party of five having 3 or 4 drinks each across the day and evening the bill could easily be north of £100 a day. Rooms are cleaned and tidied daily and towels and sheets are changed every 3 days. Finally you have use of both buildings and amenities and is well worth the cost of the stay.

Ok so it took me weeks to decide whether it was was `safe`enough for me to travel to Turkey for this trip and I have to say, I was mightily impressed! We had booked a weeks stay at an all- inclusive package at the hotel and we both thoroughly enjoyed the hotel! It was fairly clean and there were sanitisation places right across the lovely hotel and its gardens and beach! We checked in , all have to wear face masks in the Reception area. One receptionist , I think called Zeynap - short brown hair checked us in and wads really very lovely with her manner and interaction with us.. the other 2 girls, a dark long haired girl and and one blond haired girl werent particularly pleasant but on the whole, great. We had a bungalow which were great in size and had a lovely balcony but I have to say, too noisy as theres a main road that runs along the hotel and theres traffic at all times plus, exceptionally noisy corridor traffic with residents. The hotel caters to a German and Russian clientele with few English speaking staff members, having said that, I cannot fault the F&B staff members such as Cibrail and Turgei .. They were soooo hospitable and accommodating of peoples needs- they all work soo hard and deserve every penny! The gardens are kept immaculate by a lovely garden team and its a beautiful well kept site... the Coco bar is a great place to soak in the sea and pebbly beach sand but some amazing views of Alanya!.. The doctor on site a gorgeous Turkish Paramedic, AJ speaks English and was soooo compassionate and affable with us... God bless her!... There is a hair salon and parlour on site, a clothes shop and 2 great pools...deck chairs and towels are provided as well as a spa and gym... the constant plethora of food and drinks was just never ending- Well done to all staff who work in this great hotel....the security staff take a temperature each time you leave and enter the hotel , however you do need o get the bus number 1 o 2 into Alanya which is about 10 TL for each person single way.... Do deffo head out into Alanya - they have amazing cafes, bars and restaurants and of course, ample shopping! Theres a superb bazaar on Friday till late- deffo pop by.. the weather was in its constants mid 20`s but the temperature increased to about 30 one day so ensure you bring the sun tan lotion! We found a super place called Paradise Piknik which is set in the lake with traditional ! sofra`style seating...Migros is a 15 minute walk away and we made the 50 minute walk into Alanya centre from the hotel which is doable but boy we were tired! Rooms are cleaned daily, AC is provided and theres also a Washing/ Drycleaning service......we LOVED our stay here minus the rude Russian and Germans .....Deffo consider the hotel!

Stayed for a week with family. The staff at the hotel were amazing, always polite and welcoming. The hotel is small and very well run. Very clean and the AI system works well. The standards are very high on the food with plenty of options for veggies as well. The pool is not large but there was room to sit around most of the time but as the hotel is on the beach (a few steps, probably 7 or 8) it’s never a problem. There are free sun beds and umbrellas there too, along with staff to help with putting up umbrellas and getting drinks. The sea when we were there was a little rough getting in and out but super warm and great fun. Not ideal if you have very young ones but teenagers and above absolutely brilliant fun. It’s only a few lira (30 or so) for a taxi into Alanya (which works out about £5) so ideal if you want to be away from the hustle but close enough to visit. Mustafa and his team are outstanding and made us feel like VIP’s, stopping to enquire if all was ok and chatting. If you want to stay up till 4am dancing, this is not the hotel to do it in. If however you want a great hotel with good food, attentive staff on the beach and clean I would recommend it. We visited the Dim caves and not far from there there are restaurants on the Dim river where you can eat with tables in the river. Although it was red hot (35 degrees) and the sea was lovely and warm the river was freezing! This was my first experience of Turkey and definitely won’t be my last. Thank you for a lovely stay:)

We stayed here from the 27th July to August 10th. It was 2am we finally arrived after a 2 hour transfer. We checked in and went and found a restaurant for something to eat. Luckily there was one over the road from the hotel . The hotel was very clean, modern and very comfortable. It was cleaned every day and clean towels every other day . It was a very busy town and the hotel was central to everywhere . The beach was about a 15 minute walk . We had a taxi the first day and they charged us 30 TL there and back . The second day the clock in the taxi said 12 TL . We can’t believe we were ripped off. We walked everyday after that. The beach is a shingle beach and the sea is very rocky also very slippery . Take your beach shoes these will help .They charge 15TL for 2 beds and the umbrella. I would also recommend to change your currency in the UK you get a better rate . We loved Alanya , the food we found some amazing restaurants the people were very friendly. Also the weather 40c very hot .

Reception; Very friendly staff, and Mustafa was on his toes to make us happy and satisfied. Room; Very plain, but functional. Missing a good chair. Had to sit or lay on the bed. Housekeeping; In general, quite good cleanliness. The Maid had to do three floors of rooms. Pool; The area was dirty, with most of the beds covered with bird droppings. Not inviting. Restaurant; Breakfast & dinner included. In general, good food, but lacked a broader choice. Ali & Ahmed took good care of the guests. Location; Is great, with a great view over the harbour from the balcony, and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Wifi; Varied a lot, and caused some long periods without connections. Air Condirion; Was shut down at a certain date, leaving us with only hot air in the room(still +25 outside). Mustafa took care, and gave us the cooling ability back. In closing; Helpful and friendly staff, good location and functuality.

We arrived 5 days ago full of optimism. The hotel is right up a hill so small kids and buggies won’t be happy if you like to walk. We received an upgrade of room to a 2 bedroom on third floor in one of the towers. Room mostly clean, I always check first, however there was hair in one of the drawers and sink wasn’t cleaned great. Bathroom needs to be renovated as shower door kept getting stuck and leaked. Mattresses are made of foam and pillows I think too. Internet in room was an extra charge and volatile. Safe is an extra charge. Disappointed that fruit for breakfast was minimum, apples and pears on first day. Rest was okay, I saw plates filled but not to my taste or what I considered breakfast or salads etc. For lunch and dinner lots of stews and I believe directed mainly towards their Eastern European clients. Bread was great. Things like Turkish pizza, chips, were a standard. Desserts in abundance. I did not see any table service during stay. Disappointed by the snacks and offerings for all inclusive the canteens were not replenished throughout the day or not open on time. They have this little waffle place where the chocolate fountain was closed 2 days in a row, kids were disappointed. Hamburgers offered with stale buns although the fresh made pizza was good. The Animation team looking after the kids were not enthralled with their responsibility, barely interacting with the kids. This was hugely disappointing as it was one of the main reasons for picking this spot. None of the pools outside were heated. So small kids didn’t have a place to play in the water. Adults and older kids enjoyed the 5 slides. Which were managed with the pools by 2-3 lifeguards. They closed for 2 hrs for lunch. The pool in the spa was also at least 3-5 degrees too cold although they were quite accommodating and kind. Spa whilst not luxurious were good at what they do. Internet was fast in most of the shared spaces. Kids playground was good and clean and maintained. TIP. Bring cash euros for your trip, nowhere in hotel accepts pin, especially spa and it’s a hike to get to the nearest one.

I recently spent two weeks In Alanya, Turkey and highly recommend the Elegant Baronessa Apart Hotel. The hotel is reasonably priced, spacious accommodation, comprising of comfortable twin bedded bed room with air conditioner, bathroom with shower, living room with TV, fridge, cooking facilities and utensils. Overall the hotel was very clean with excellent food, wifi, very friendly and helpful staff, who spoke extremely good English. Situated close to shops, restaurants, bus stops and all amenities, tour agents for boat trips and many beautiful and historical sites. The beach is five minutes walk and includes free access to sun loungers, refreshment are also available.

I stayed here for three nights in August as a solo traveller and chose this hotel based on it's location. It couldn't have been more perfect, literally minutes from the beach, the cable car up to the castle, the museum, caves and about a 15 minute walk to the other side of the castle outcropping and the harbour area.Turkey is very hot in August so I was grateful that I could pop in and out all day and bask in the beautiful air-conditioning! The welcome was great, the check-in easy and all the staff friendly, well turned out and with name badges. The room was lovely, clean, nice linens, decent shower, plenty of towels ( which is a bug-bear when you travel alone, for some reason many hotels think that if you are the sole occupant of a double room you only need one bath towel) and right above the street so perfect for people watching from the balcony and not at all noisy, as you might expect. I was pleased to have both BBC World news and Nat Geo on the TV in English. The food was tasty, with a range of salads and a hot buffet , also a grill chef cooking whole sea bream one day, marinated chicken the next and fresh mackerel the third. Perfectly cooked fish..delicious! Unfortunately I couldn't get a late check-out since it was a big holiday the day that I left, but the staff were happy for me to use the pool, eat, and drink in the bar until finally got picked up at half past nine at night. The only negative thing I can think of was that though the vodka shots were large, the fresh coffee was scarce and fresh juice non-existent. All in all though, I thought the hotel, was excellent value and I would definitely stay again, despite being the only English guest there I think!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Okan for a family holiday last June. The hotel was such a great find in a great position in the town at one side and the beach at the other. The hotel has great rooms, great food and friendly staff. The beach is across the road from the hotel with its own bar and comfortable sun beds which are always ready for you when you get to the beach. You can pay daily or their is a deal for the sun beds available at the hotel reception if you book for 5 days or more. The meals in the hotel are a good standard, we had a half board option, their is an option for full board if wanted. The bar has a good drinks selection, their is a basic gym to use, but their is so much more to do in Alanya than the gym😂. Definitely worth booking this hotel if you are visiting Alanya.....

We have just got back from Turkey, we booked last minute a sales ref sent me the info about Oba Time Hotel, I read the reviews and most of the reviews was good. So I decided to give it a try. I will be totally honest in this review because I know how important reviews are and people rely on them. The hotel is about 3 hours drive from the airport its a long way after a flight, but for location we couldn't fault it, everything was on our doorstep, we arrive late at night, on arrival the staff seemed very nice they gave us a room on the 4th flr with 2 single beds, & was not big enough for us we spoke to reception they then put us on the 5th flr the room was very nice & clean, a double bed & one single with a big balcony & a view of the mountains,2 days later they gave us an apartment next door to the hotel which was very nice I think because I don't like the lift & was walking upstairs to the 5th flr all the time. There's a market on Sats & Mons right there by the hotel,& further up the road is a lot of shops & restaurants, & about 7 minutes from the beach. The problem we had at the hotel we were the only black family there, most were Russians & Germans & they are the most racist people we've come across they would give us dirty looks wouldn't even want to walk near us it got to the point where we felt very uncomfortable, 2 of the staff in the restaurant was very rude, the lady at reception we found rude also, we wouldn't go back to that hotel for these reasons, sad to say in 2019 this still exists. One evening we came back from our daily walk they had a fire show by the swimming pool, we asked for a table & chairs 1 staff got a table & chairs & gave it to some Russians who came after us & left us standing there, when I asked where is our table & chairs he just put up both his hands as if to say I don't know I asked to speak to the manager that's when he went & got the table & chairs & placed it right at the back as if they just wanted us out the way. The food was not very nice & was the same most days, a lot of the food was left open & flys pitching on the food, the food was cold, overall the food & some of the staff let that place down I would say. This review is long but I tried to cover everything. We complained to the manager about 2 of the staff, but to be honest he didn't seemed bothered. Despite this,we ate out most evening, outside of the hotel we enjoyed our holiday & met some lovely people along the way. We would go back to Turkey in the same area but not at that hotel again.

We chose this hotel because its location. It has private pool and beach with designated beds, so we felt very comfortable. We took 7-day all inclusive offer and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. On top of that all drinks - coffee, water, beer, juice, cocktails - alc/non-alc - are included in the price, from 10.00 a.m. until 12.00 p.m. (after 12.00 p.m. you will be charged) and also from 16:00 to 17:00 there's coffee time, where they serve ice-cream and cookies (all these are at the bar from the beach) and from 23 until 24:00 there is another snack - late night soup (we never tried this one). Also on the bar by the beach they have the bar where they can also serve food, from 11:30 - omelettes, salads, Italian pizza and Turkish Pizza. The breakfast - lunch - dinner are buffet type and the varieties are endless. They cook a lot of food, for all the tastes and for everyone. POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THE FOOD: the food comes in varieties for everyone, the dinner is amazing, they cook the Turkish meat with spices and it tastes just great, during dinner the chef comes and greets people, which is very cool, during breakfast you can have omelette or roasted egg made just in front of you by the sous-chefs, the waiters are very kind people and they try to speak to you in your native language, they serve with drinks all the time. Turkish tea is very tasty and it is served in traditional cups. The variety for deserts is very nice, they had cakes, jellies, baclava and rahat lukum. NEGATIVE ASPECTS: We were offered a dinner where they have "A la carte"restaurant, but we were told that we have to come at 19:00 sharp. The menu was predefined, so we could not chose and the option was "Asian dinner" - the soup was not great at all, full with starch, it looked like a reheated jelly, it was sushi in the menu, but we did not get it, the aperitif was just three little spring rolls (images attached), the salad was said to have fish (this was also missing) and the main dish was also without Asian flavor. Unfortunately next day I had a rush on both of my hands, but it was nothing serious. I trully believe it is from this, because I was eating food from the buffet for 5 days and I felt great and after this meal I was dispaoointed by their "a la carte" option. What we think is that they should cook traditional Turkish food only, because it is just great, packed with taste and not try to approach other cuisines. The second negative thing: COFFEE: all the coffee is instant coffee. If you order capuccino, you receive what they call "white coffee", which is instant coffee with instant creamer. If you order espresso you get "black coffee" - instant coffee. The Turkish coffee is not for free in there, so you have to pay. OVERALL FEELING: we were very pleased by their service and their work. THE STAY: We arrived at 3.30 in the morning. so the concierge was very kind and offered us a cold plate with vegetables, cheese, a bit of ham and drinks. They are very nice people,

I stayed for three days. Lovely staff, special thanks to Pervana (hotel receptionist/manager). Healthy food: brown rice, couscous, beautiful turkish soups, fresh vegetables, fruits (only watermelons), no dessert though, coffee mashine, jogurt salads, breakfast: boiled eggs, boiled sausage with beef, milk, corn flakes, simple. I was spending time on the beach, which is only across the road. Also went further near the cliffs, good spot for snorkling. Then I went to the mountain area's. Just walking up and enjoying the views but be carefull to be ready physically and have enough water. A corner shop worth your jiffy...

We arrive late at night it was so cold when we got take to our room we noticed how clean it was but really cold we tried to switch the heater on but it wasn't working nothing was in the mini bar not even swicthed on, not even their internet. It was round 12.30am we was hungry we went out to look for something to eat but everything was closed. We came back and asked the guy at the reception he told us everything is closed nothing is available. It was so upsetting we thought we would need to eat crisp and drink coke and go to bed what a crap night. The porter asked the receptionist what happen in their language and he told us to wait the gentleman went to the kitchen and got us 2x plates of mezzes with bread. We was so grateful it was a lovely gesture. We slept with our tummy full thank you so much. The next morning we went for breakfast it was decent but because there wasn't enough people staying breakfast was kept to a minimum. Slowly people was starting to check in hotel started to get busy. Dinner is included in the half board but a money making scheme drinks wasn't included to eat your dinner(included in half board) you have to order a drink at dinner and pay for it. 1st 2 nights the dinner was terrible nothing much on the menu so both nights we went out for dinner. 3rd night dinner was better but still not great I think as it was getting busier they started making better food. 4th day and still the outside was a mess the beach sun beds on the beach outside the hotel was not ready which was annoying as they knew people are starting to come nothing was done. From the start of my stay they was making so much noise fixing the beds and cutting up the woods. It was a shamble. We noticed how they was also greeting customer with drinks on the 4th day. We didn't get a welcome drink we had to ask for something to eat. They need a manual with places to eat after 12am and sort out the internet we had to ask about it everyday as the coverage was crap. It's and adult hotel but there was the owners kids crying and running around. The pools water was freezing cold. Im sure you know people are coming to the hotel and what date everything should be sorted out before their arrival. The hotel is beautiful though. Its clean.

We stayed at Green Garden Suites (the smaller hotell) for a week. Apartment very good, big and clean. Good space for clothes and nice bed. Dishwasher and washmachine. The terass which is suppose to be luxurious was not so exciting.. Barely space for two sunbeds and the "outdoor shower" is more of a waterhose.. Breakfast is good, even though we missed some small things like nutella, meat and more different breads. The Pool area is great, very clean and good quality. Can be a bit tricky to get sunbeds, they should forbid people from leaving their towels. Attached resturant (Meet´n corner burgers) is good for being in Turkey, but not like real burgers. WIFI was actually good and stable. Staff is nice and helpful, and we loved the managers dog!

Comfortable hotel, rooms are equipped with all necessary things. Many services are not provided due to quarantine restrictions. But if you want to spend your vacation in a quiet area of Alanya - this is a very good choice. The Cleopatra beach is in 5 min walk from the hotel. The main shopping street is very close to the hotel. The harbor is in 30 min walk from the hotel. The funicular to the hotel is in 10 min from the hotel as well as the Damlatas cave. Special thanks to the Chef - almost all dishes are very tasty. It is one of the best cuisines among hotels we have been to in Turkey (near 10 hotels). The personnel is kindly polite. P.S. Dear Chef: two white wines (half) ;)
