Breakfast was OK. The location is pretty good, across from a park and close to a shopping mall. My room had a decent size. Reception staff was always friendly and helpful. The view from the top floor is amazing. The fitness area is tiny and poorly equipped. Prices at the restaurant are too high. Wi-fi in my room was terrible the entire time, even though I alerted the staff. There were also problems with the temperature and the pressure of water in the bathroom. The housekeeping team was an absolute disaster. During the course of an entire week, they replaced bathroom items only once, and only after I asked for it twice. Every time I saw them, they were just standing in the corridors, maskless, chatting or using their phones.

The room was small, the breakfast rather tasteless, the check-in experience not so friendly. This part of town is full of elegant houses surrounded by giant metal fences with electrified fences above them and guard houses. People on the streets look scared and check out each other all the time for safety. There is a gas station nearby that sells food that consists of melted cheese and a hamburger place.

This is clearly a hotel that tries to provide a superior experience to the guest – fantastic location; very good, very well maintained room; very kind and attentive personnel; a pair of courtesy water bottles; Nespresso machine in the room... And then, everything is put to waste by a barrage of small but VERY annoying details: You arrive from the airport (counting on going to your room's restroom as soon as possible); receive your key; it works in the elevator... but not in the doorlock. You go back to the reception desk and the (authentically sorry) receptionist provides you with 2 keys, just in case (it is clearly a very common occurrence). It works, this time. Next day – not your last day of stay – you return from the workday and the keys (both of them) do not work again! Meaning it is not a problem with the keys but either a software or a human problem. When you finally get to the room, good luck if you want to call reception. Although there's a ”trendy” little prism over your bedside table informing the name of the cleaning lady of your room, there's nowhere you can find out the front desk number – it's not 0, 9, 1, * or # (it's *1, which I'm now informed is a standard in Porto Alegre; but then again, guests are usually from other places, right?). You finally get to talk to someone in the front desk, that informs you that there's no login or password to the wi-fi; you just have to fill up a form and will be logged in. You fill up the form (lots of info requests, including ID number, email etc.). Hit the ”Login” button. Comes a window: ”please check the 'accept conditions' box before connecting”. The 'accept' box is bellow the the login button AND bellow the screen line. Not only this, but all the (excessive) info you had typed in is lost – all the fields are emptied and you have to fill them up all over again. Time to checkout, it is 10:16 am and you want to have a cup of coffee before leaving. The breakfast ends at 10 am exactly and the coffee jars are probably the first to be taken away. You mention it to the checkout clerk and she gives you a free welcome (in this case farewell) drink voucher and you are able to ask a cup of espresso in the bar. This last event synthesizes the experience in the Quality Hotel: lots of effort to compensate for frustrations that could easily have been avoided in the first place, with a modicum of attention to the customer experience. I hope this feedback helps them do exactly that.

Many Ibis Styles give a free breakfast. This one does NOT on all rates despite a sign at reception saying free wifi and breakfast! They don't tell you at check in. Breakfast is fine if free but I don't think it's worth paying for: really bad coffee. I would have gone outside if I'd known. Otherwise the hotel is fine and like most places at present with the weak Real, good value. Oh, there's a very dangerous drain cover about 10m down Rua Garibaldi from the hotel. Be careful!

Plaza São Rafael is a very traditional hotel in downtown Porto Alegre. Close to the exit to the city. The staff is thoughtful and well-trained, the bed is very comfortable, the romm is spacious. However, since the hotel is quite old, it needs to be modernized, specially the rooms. Also the breakfast present good variety, but what is served is not very good in quality.

I was in Ibis Porto Alegre Assis Brazil for the Metallica show in Porto Alegre, because the location of the hotel was preferred to the location of the event, the prices shot and the hotel price was well salted. I admit that it was worth it, considering that arrival there was a chaos due to the traffic, so I only recommend the hotel for anyone at any event at FIERGS.

If you travel for fun, then the price and the enviromento is fine. But if you travel for business, this is one of the worst hotel I have experience, the receptionist has really bad atitude, they dont speak english and they descriminate foreigners. Second, they dont know how to make an invoice correctly with the CNPJ. They misspelled the name or not putting the whole adress correctly. And when i ask to change, they complain and give a bad atittude. I will not reserve this hotel for any of my clientes anymore. If the hotel wants to grow, the receptionists need to receive proper training once in a while. But

The room is huge and very comfortable. The pool is excellent. The location is criticized by some people, but I found it strategic. Breakfast is suitable. The staff are educated and requested. The only thing that is not paying is the paying parking - although it is clear from the beginning, I can't find it reasonable in a hotel. I don't know whether it's the lift speed or the number of floors, but I thought it's going to take too long to wait for it.

The hotel is just opposite the Alegre Port bus stop. It is especially suitable for passengers in transit. It is known that there are no trains in Brazil. Long-distance buses are the main means of transportation from the state capital to the cities in various regions. There are some clocks in the lobby that look like some ages and look very good. The reception English at the front desk was not bad in Brazil, and the service was very warm. The room is neat and tidy. Breakfast is on the back of the three-way, more typical Brazilian breakfast.

We arrived at 13:30 at the hotel and we were informed that check in was from 14:00. We knew this and left the baggage at the hotel and went to a tour. We returned at 14:05 and they told us there were no rooms available and we had to wait about 40 minutes. We entered the room around 14:50 and I realized that they were two single beds (I booked this wrongly). The hotel offered to assemble beds without charge due to the delay in check-in and we accepted. We went out around 15:30 and told us that when we returned, everything would be OK with the bed. We arrived at room 19:10 and the beds were in the same way, they did not do what they promised. At 21:00 a coward came in, entering the room that was scared with us. She said she had gone to bring the beds together. They were either badly believed or totally negligent with us.

When I called and asked about the parking, I was informed that the hotel offered 6 free vacancies in front of the hotel, and I agreed with the open parking next door. But if you need to get out of the car, you will have to get to the parking stay and, when you come back, you will have to take a new ticket, paying another use of the parking, which was not reported by the attendant. In the case I paid 46 reals in parking, not compensating the value of the accommodation, because I had to leave only once. For those who go by car and need to locomote in Porto, the low cost of the hotel ends up, in the package, more expensive than in other hotels in the region.

The hotel is located in the historic centre of Porto Alegre, and it is the best I found to have stayed in it, because from the beach to several places walking. The hotel is old, along with a strong smell of cigarette in the corridors and rooms ( guests do not respect and smoke inside). Breakfast is very simple/ the basic of a coffee to start the day. The hotel is located in the building ( 20 floors) well in the centre of POA,in a quite well-being avenue near the municipal market. The hotel has 2 elevators. The rooms are of paper, so you can listen to everything next door. The air is in the entrance, well above the door, and when used, it forms a water pool well in the entrance of the room. Some rooms do not have a fridge. It serves only for 1 / 2 nights ...for who is short” passing in POA! for the value charged there are certainly more positive accommodation.

The rooms are small but comfortable. The only disappointment was the cleaning of the rooms, one night before I had gone to a wedding and the bathroom towels were dirty, the next day the lady didn't exchange any towels, tape and nothing, she just organized bed. I was a little disappointed in the part of the cleaning, but I don't have anything to complain, the hotel has a great location with good service. Breakfast is common but I believe it has a way to improve it.

I was not bad, just overpriced. Rooms were small like an IBIS, they did have a minibar in the room. Bathroom was bigger than an IBIS. Staff nice pleasant and efficient. Breakfast included was ok nothing to rave about. Bed was really high and too firm with sheets that did not fit the bed and crumpled under you as you slept. I only ate dinner here the lat night at the hotel. I waited 40+ minutes for a Mixto (hot ham & cheese sandwich) and french fries and the restaurant was mostly empty. Would I stay here again, probably not. Probably stay at the IBIS Styles on Plinio Milano Street. Better value and nearby restaurants and shops to the IBIS, while nothing much around the Laghetto but a supermarket.

Does the job. V close to the airport, quick shuttle service (although you have to pay to go back to the airport!), comfy bed, decent enough breakfast and a 24h bar with great IPA (v important if you land 4 hours late and want a cold beer before going to sleep!). Staff were were very friendly and helpful. And you couldn't hear the planes which was great for a good sleep. Not a place for a week long holiday but perfect if you need to overnight between flights.

For those who like American hotels, you will love it. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with some aspects of the hotel: because it is large (10th floor), everything has to be lined up. Take the elevator and eat breakfast. In the early morning, the elevator stops on all floors. If you are placed on the top floor, you must constantly exercise patience. All this is very bad. Although there are free early check-in ads, please forget this option. The hotel is overcrowded and there are always people coming in and out, so I find it difficult to buy. We arrived at the hotel at 12 and couldn't even get in the room. The advantage is that we can put our luggage there and label it because the place where I store them is full. For vegans/vegetarians, breakfast food has many shortcomings, it only has fruit. The cakes are so sweet that you can't taste them at all. Orange juice is unnatural. The rooms/corridors are carpeted. The swimming pool is small, it even looks like a child's. The hotel needs some maintenance, especially on the terrace, some areas are being renovated. There are no most plants in the vegetable garden = ( The sunset view on the terrace is simply beautiful. Very good gym, equipped with all necessary equipment and mirrors. There is a lounge where you can read books, practice yoga, relax, and the decoration is great. The staff are very friendly. We ordered food through the app, and the receptionist received it and called us to let us know it had arrived. Everyone is very patient and willing to help. Every day the cleaner will ask us if we want her to clean the room. It has cable TV, Netflix and globoplay. I think there is a sink in the room, separate garbage (organic and recyclable), microwave oven and air conditioning are good. The room size is very good and very spacious. The shower was great, the water flow was very strong and very hot (if you want).

I liked it very much. I recommend. Good coffee. good service. My suggestion is to make up the lofts available and leave covers in the room. The first night wasn't sleeping well due to low lofts and lack of covers. The other night I was very well sleeping. The servants left me a great dresser and a copper bed. I recommend the hotel and I would surely host again. The trip price was excellent.

Respond differently depending on the hotel staff Room condition: Overall modern and pretty. Great bed with lots of extra futons. We have been in this hotel several times, and until then we had only praises to do ... but this night from 08 to day 09/07/2022 was a real nightmare ... when we were lying in bed around 00:00: 30 I realized that you connected a noisy engine with a bulb bulb hitting ... that stayed for 2 or 3 minutes .... impossible to sleep with it ... I turned off the air conditioning think it could be our air ... I slept again ... 15 or 20 minutes after more 2 or 3 infernale minutes ... 15 or 20 minutes of silence and ... 2 or 3 minutes of very noise again ...e so happened hours on wire ... if you had been stepped up the car in a fuel station and sleeping ... would have been better.
