It is a rather large apartment consisting of a living room / kitchen, where the original stone fireplace and the embers "stoves" that were once used have been left; 2 large bedrooms (one double and one single) and a bathroom. Independent entrance.The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking (pots, utensils, lids, etc.) and eating (plates, cutlery, glasses, etc.)The fireplace is functional and freely usable by guests. Wood is available and is located outside the structure. It is a deliberately "rustic" apartment, typical of the Tuscan countryside, in fact we have not placed any armchairs or sofas inside.A faithful reconstruction of the old "sink" was made; we kept its shape and put curtains instead of doors (both above and below). Even the gas hob was built in masonry trying to respect the style of the apartment and we also placed (under it) the curtains at the post of the doors.There is no air conditioning because the large walls of the structure ensure a pleasantly and naturally cool temperature.The structure is entirely surrounded by greenery, fields and woods, where it is possible to take pleasant walks; in the large garden it is possible to relax, read a book. In the evening the external lighting is switched on automatically.Outside the structure, at guests' disposal there is a brazier and a charcoal barbecue (charcoal is available). There are tables (even indoors) for eating and deck chairs for relaxing and perhaps sunbathing.The property is surrounded by a large garden. Its main feature is the maintenance of the original floor that was in the structure under constant renovation; obviously has some imperfections but, in our opinion, it is beautiful. It has been cleaned and scrupulously restored without removing, however, all the imperfections that characterize it. Another peculiarity of the apartment is the presence, in the living room/kitchen area, of a small mezzanine. Before the renovation there were no stairs to go up that there are now but a small "climb". In the old structure this room was the granary.It is a rather large apartment consisting of a living room with kitchen, 2 large bedrooms (one single and one double) and 2 bathrooms (one for the exclusive use of the double bedroom).Independent entrance.To reach the entrance to the apartment it is necessary to climb a small flight of external and internal stairs.The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking (pots, lids, utensils, etc.) and for eating (plates, cutlery, glasses, etc.)The bathrooms are both equipped with all the normal facilities.In the living room there are two comfortable armchairs and a wood-burning fireplace which can be easily lit. This lovely small hotel has simple (not overly decorated), clean rooms, which is all we need for the basics. What makes it extraordinary is the restaurant--amazing food--and especially the staff. Silvano could not be more helpful. He is always willing to suggest a parking area in whichever hilltop town we want to visit on any day, and he was willing to call and make sure that the restaurants he recommended for lunch were open in April 2022 as establishments were rebounding from winter and/or covid closure. Antonio is the perfect head waiter. My sense is that he reads people extremely well and responds to different guests in the way that is most comfortable for them. He is always professional, but if he senses, as he did with us, that we're open to being more familiar and friendly, he responds with wonderful humor. And other staff, with whom we had less contact, were also very helpful. We never want to leave after a few days, and we come back each time we're in Italy.
