0.21km from KFCWe chose this hotel as it looked very modern compared to the ones in the centre of Krakow, but if I was visiting agam I'd prefer somewhere nearer the centre. There is a bus stop very near and we used this a lot during the day but we were told it was too dangerous to use it at night so we got taxis which varied a lot in price. I didn't witness anything to make me feel uneasy over there it's a lovely city. The staff in the hotel were very nice and professional and the rooms were lovely and clean. I had a massage in the spa which was very relaxing, but there is no pool that I could see in the hotel only an indoor waterpark next door. The bar was dead so we didn't spend much time there. Breakfast was the usual European fare OK but nothing like the full Irish.

Decor is modern and bright... bathroom with jacuzzi was lovely!!! breakfast was plentiful, and food was nice - staff couldn't do more for us & were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again...
2.03km from KFCKazimierz Villa is located in a quiet area in Grzegórzki district of Kraków. It features apartments with a fully equipped kitchen and free internet. There is free parking on site. The apartments at Willa Kazimierz come with a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, cooker, electric kettle and dishes. You can also benefit from satellite TV and air conditioning. From Willa Kazimierz, you can walk to Kraków’s Main Railway Station in about 15 minutes. The Main Market Square is 25 minutes’ walk away. The property has a garden, where you can relax after a long day of exploring Kraków.
2.43km from KFCWe arrived and were met by a lady who ask for payment for a prepaid booking. Didn’t lend confidence. The stairwell was clean but smelly. Our apartment was supposed to be “panoramic penthouse.” Third floor. Yes panoramic..... into apartment opposite. Although the apartment was clean the sofa arm was broken and when you closed the window you could smell the sofa. It needs replaced. There were no curtains. The tap in the kitchen could be lifted out as it was only connected to the pipe. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied. The bed was ok but with no curtains you couldn’t get much sleep. The apartment was to far out of town. I have stayed in apartments like this before but better quality. It is advertised as serviced apartments but the gentleman doesn’t speak English so he had to ring another resident to order a taxi. We spent one night and left. I would not recommend this apartment for visiting krakow.
2.49km from KFCI have mixed emotions for this hotel. We stayed three nights and nights were different. Staff when I checked in were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The second night I asked a simple question, to the same staff member, and she was straight up rude. During check out, same rudeness-different staff member. As a Diamond member, I received access to the indoor pool - which is not typically accessible as the pool is reserved for guests of DoubleTree which shares the same building. Access is also granted to Gold members. Breakfast was good and dinner is even better. There is a restaurant and bar. The website stated paid parking however, parking was free at the back or mall side.
2.83km from KFCStayed here for 3 nights from 7th December. Very modern hotel with colourful and tasteful decoration. Very friendly welcome from Magda on Reception when we arrived and all the other staff we met were equally friendly and helpful. Hotel has a bar and restaurant and plenty of sitting room in the open plan reception, bar and restaurant. Breakfast is buffet style and comprehensive. Room has everything you need for a few nights hairdryer,TV, plenty of space for clothes. Powerful shower over bath. Everywhere in this hotel was immaculately clean and tidy. Easy straight walk to Old Town (about 15 mins) or catch the Tram no. 14 from round the corner. ( you can buy tickets from Reception ). Would certainly recommend.

2.85km from KFCLocation was great, not to far from old town, you can cut through the shopping centre and get lunch one the way there to old town or/and a meal on the way back. Ubur from the old town to the apartment was only 10-15zl (£2.05-£3.10) and an Ubur to the Airport was only 35zl (£7.19). There is also fuelling stations near by to get any late night goods (sweets, food, fruit, etc..) Due to recently staying in Croatia 10 days before I planned to visit Poland and forced to self-isolate back home, I had to change my dates, I had informed the property before visiting and contacted them while I was in Croatia. I had selected the "non-refund" option on booking, the apartment was not obligated to change my dates, but and they did - thank you. If you find yourself in a similar position, keep the property updated as and when you have it. I was staying for one week, first time visit. I asked if they could spare any laundry tablets for my clothes and they did (Ariel laundry tablets) - no extra charge. During the week the Internet connection was constantly dropping for upwards of 10 minutes before reconnecting. The WIFI was fine, this would be the service provider issue. Towards thee end of the week the service was fully restored. I won't leave a negative on this as they worked to restore the service. The last few days I was there, the connection was much faster and more stable.
2.94km from KFCHotel is about 30 mins in a taxi from airport costing 89 PLN about £17, could’ve got the train but we were short on time so didn’t want to waste any waiting for a train to save a few pound. The taxi man was very friendly and recommended good places to eat out etc. We did book with the same company to go back to the airport at 3AM in the morning and was there right on time. The hotel is basic but super clean and spotless so can’t complain as you’re there for the city not to stay in your hotel all day. The hotel staff were very friendly especially the lady on reception (can’t remember her name but was blonde) and had perfect English. It’s about a 20 easy minute walk into Kraków old town. Looking at all the buildings and views on the way and with good company feels like nothing. The area feels safe as we walked back from the old town at about 10pm and had no problems but could get a cheap taxi but we didn’t mind the walk. Only thing in the old town I wouldn’t recommend getting one of the tours in the ‘golf buggies’ as the one we had was boring and we had a head set on with pre recordings on so try and get one where the tour guide actually speaks to you. However can’t fault the hotel at all, clean and had a great location would 100% recommend to anybody who is visiting Kraków!!

2.95km from KFCReally don’t know how people are giving such harsh reviews. For the price you pay, it’s 5 stars. Pros - best WiFi I’ve ever had! - 10 min walk to centre!!! - room is a great size! - it’s quirky and different! - great temperature - brew making facilities and cutlery etc. This place is brilliant for the price and would come back here in a second if I ever returned to krakow. Slight con: sheets were marked. But hey ho. Tiny mark down. Rest of the flat was immaculate! Overall 9/10.
2.97km from KFCOutstanding accommodation located 5 minutes from the Centre. We contacted the hotel to arrange a taxi from the airport they responded straight away with the price and when arriving everything was as they had said. They also contacted us to ask what we required in our room eg robes slippers sewing kit and many more items. The room was an apartment was spotlessly clean and sanitized , fully equipped kitchen with microwave hob and coffee machine ,living area and sleeping area separated by a partition.. Breakfast is described as Continental, The variety of meats -cheeses -fruit-breads with the addition of eggs cooked as you wish. The hotel also arranged our excursion to Auschwitz-Birkenau picking up and returning to the hotel. All of the staff were Polite Friendly and Knowledgeable happy to pass on local information or just chat. This was our first visit to Krakow and Poland , we will be returning and most definitely it will be to Topolowa Residence . Thank You for everything!!!
3km from KFCLate on the review for this one! but had to express how grateful i am for all the hotel did for me during my situation over in Poland and how they pretty much helped me return home. During my whole fiasco they provided with both support and a general laugh throughout, so i really appreciate that considering how frequent i was down at the reception! Both Anna and Filip (Sorry if i spelt any names wrong, i lost the note with your names on) on the first couple of nights they were great support and i really enjoyed talking to them throughout and having a laugh despite my predicament. Without either of them the process would've gone much slower and i may have been in a worse position. Anna was always laughing and smiling and stuck with me regardless of the time spent, especially whilst enduring the nightmare trying help me make some calls outside of Poland! After talking with her during my time she works hard both inside and outside of the job which i admire because this showed during my time. Although i didn't get to say bye on the last night to either of them apart from Patryck, it's a shame i couldn't stay longer to at least say a proper farewell to you all. Genuinely one of the highlights of my trip getting to meet them and i will definitely remember them along with Patryck and Wictoria, who equally helped out as much but overall the reception staff in general were fantastic! I hope they will get to see this review anyways. I did get try restaurant as well and enjoyed my meal overall, the tartare was a bit strong but still taste very nice despite. The staff as well although i didn't catch their names were very polite and one of the girls also kindly offered me a drink while i was at reception trying to sort out everything, which i'm thankful for. The room was overall very nice and kept clean daily, didn't have any problems with sleep or noise and the bathroom was filled with any essential i needed. Overall i thought i'd keep this review short but the main reason i'd visit this hotel again is due to the staff themselves that run it and how approachable, talkative and supportive they were.
Hotels Near Il Vesuvio, Pizzeria I Spaghetteria In Krakow Review
Stayed 3 nights as part of my surprise 50th birthday tour of Prague and Krakow and had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It is very modern, clean and friendly and would highly recommend. I cant fault the place really and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Had to move rooms straight away as we wanted a bath instead of just a shower but that was no problem for them. We never ate as there was so much choice externally on your doorstep. Unfortunately we were there just as the city and country closed down for Coronavirus but it just meant we could spend a little more time in the hotels excellent basement leisure facilities and swam in the intimate basement pool and used the sauna and steam room. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to stay if coming to beautiful Krakow and having stayed in dozens of fantastic hotels around the world this last 20 years this ranks in my top 10 easily.
Chose this hotel because of its reviews and location. Arrived 8pm and check in was easy with friendly reception and lovely young man as a porter who showed us to our room. Room 223 was perfect... good size, new bathroom with corner shower, which was powerful and always hot. Small wardrobe, but it was a city break so limited clothes. TV, clock radio plus lots of other little extras. Thin quilt as others have said but we were never cold and new high pillows. Bar and breakfast room was lovley, drinks reasonable price for a hotel. Breakfast was the usual choice for a city hotel and always hot with decent coffee. I have only given a 4 star because some of the staff were lovley and others on the rude side. Also I had read that the beds were hard and they were not joking. I suffer with a hip problem and was walking the floor at 3am on the first night in pain. I asked if they could help twice and was only given 2 small fleece blankets to put underneath. Needless to say I didnt sleep well for the 5 nights we were there which left me tired in the day and difficulty walking. I have had this problem in other hotels and its always been solved with somesort of mattress topper. Very disappointing but therwise I would highly recommend this hotel to others as location and overall it was fab.
A 4 part review: Let's start with the basics - clean, well maintained, warm, got all the stuff you need. Then let's talk covid measures - the hotel is well laid out, all the screens and social distancing is in place, lots of hand cleaner everywhere, and central services such as lobby toilets are closed at 10pm for safety. All good. Now the room itself - all clean and relatively well appointed, but the mattress was way too soft for my taste, as were the pillows, and the room (10th floor) was unbelievably hot. Fans are ok but it really needed some aircon to make it comfortable. Finally the best bit. The staff and service were fantastic. Particular mentions go to Ana at the bar, Agata who looked after us at dinner, Sebastien on reception and his female colleague who checked us in but i couldn't see her name. We were made to feel very welcome, always looked after, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they seemed to treat us as individuals rather than "just another guest" Good service makes a massive difference wherever you stay. The hotel manager at Novotel West needs to pat themselves on the back, the staff here are brilliant and we had a great time because of them. Lucky, as it was our 32nd wedding anniversary!
Booked here with friends (golf trip) after reading reviews- I was expecting a bit better to be honest. We paid for a superior twin room with old town views , we were given a double room which had a slight glimpse of some chimneys, the main problem being the fact that it was a double . We were then moved to a ‘park view ‘ room on the other side of the hotel . This had two single beds in between two wall- fitted bedside cabinets, one could only separate the beds by a maximum of 6 inches so was in effect another double bedroom . We had to move one of the beds over to the window which turned out to be pretty noisy as we had to have it open because the rooms we about 30’ even with the very noisy ac on. It was 15’ outside. Ok , that’s the negative stuff...breakfast was pretty good but basic, the hotel is very clean and well situated and the staff are all friendly.

After a nightmare journey to Krakow the last thing we wanted was a further let down with the place we were staying. Thank goodness it wasn't! Rakowicka Residence is an absolute diamond of a property in a quiet area just 15mins stroll to the Market Square, where most things in Krakow happen. On the walk to the square you also pass a huge shopping mall so it's very convenient for some retail therapy as well. The room was spotless as was the bathroom and shower. Our room on the 5th floor had 2 skylights for natural light. There was a table and 2 chairs, lots of storage space, a kettle, coffee machine, a safe, clean towels and shower gel/shampoo and bottled soap in the bathroom. There is a lift to the top floor. Access is by keypad at the front door and for your room. We felt very secure in the area, which appeared to be a business quarter with 2 large banks HQ's close by. We are hoping to return again to Krakow this year and would have no hesitation of booking Rakowicka Residence. Before signing off I should mention the staff at the apartment. We were meant to arrive in Krakow at 12:00 but that ended up being 20:15 so by the time we got to the apartment is was close to 10pm. I kept in touch with Magdalena via emails during the journey explaining our delay, so she kindly gave me the access details as we would be there past her finishing time of 21:00. We got there she was still there to make sure that we were OK. Service above and beyond. We met with 3 of the staff and all were excellent and helpful
