We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were warm, gracious and promptly tended to our every needs. They also have plenty of foreign staff members, so if you can't speak Japanese, there won't be a problem here. Overall, service is very Aman-like. One example - my mother-in-law is currently a bit physically challenged in terms of walking, but wanted to check out the property grounds. Problem is, the walkways are all cobblestones (and with climbing involved.) No problem! One of the wonderful young ladies ran off, grabbed a golf cart, and promptly gave her (and us) a 30-minute tour of the Aman Kyoto grounds - at least in the areas where a golf cart can actually traverse. Speaking of property grounds, Aman Kyoto's is a real stunner. It's expansive, and the most-covered forest is mystical and serene. We definitely felt relaxed as soon as we stepped foot in Aman Kyoto. It's not your typical city hotel (Aman Tokyo, I'm looking at you.) You'll feel like you're miles away from civilization. We had dinner one night at Taka-An, and I must say that - as a kaiseki aficionado - it was right up there with the best that Kyoto has to offer (in case you're curious, we've been to almost all of the top ones, including Kishisen and Kitcho multiple times.) In fact, many of the chefs at Taka-An were formerly employed at Kitcho, and it shows in the quality of their offerings. Each dish was exquisite. Definitely the best meal we've had at any Aman, although it does come at a cost (about $400 per person with some sake.) On to the rooms. Since we had Mrs. KI-NRT's mother with us, we booked two rooms. And, with her mother having mobility issues, we took the 1F "Nara" room (for her) and the 2F "Kaede" room (for us.) Our room was directly above hers. Two things to note: - All "standard" rooms (there are different categories of them, but it's mainly differentiated by location and floor) are 60 square meters, which is a bit on the small side when you consider the size of the overall property. Lighting is good, however, and the decor and colors of the walls give it an airy feel. While it's not claustrophobic, it's not exactly the kind of room you'd want to spend all day in. - All standard rooms on the first floor have privacy issues (at least as far as I'm aware), since they face the pathways. Yes, the surrounding trees do prevent a clear view into (and out of) the rooms, but there are enough openings such that, if you have the lights on and shades open, pedestrians will get a view into the room. Therefore - definitely opt for a room on the second floor if you opt for anything other than the suite (of which they only have one category, if you don't count the stand-alone, 2BR Washigamine Pavilion.) A note about the location. Kyoto is a relatively compact "large" city; however, many of the top sites are quite spread out. Aman is close to Kinkakuji, Ryoan-ji (the famous zen rock garden) and Ninnaji. It is not close to most other places, and is not near touristic hot sp
It is about a 2-min walk to Daitokuji Temple, the largest Zen temple in Japan. The vaulted ceiling in the living room has large beams, giving you a sense of the history of Kyoto machiya. With floor heating and bathroom heating, you can enjoy a comfortable stay even in cold weather.
We stayed here for 3 days at the end of December 2019 as a family of 4 adults. My parents stayed in a bigger room while my brother and I stayed in a normal twin room. The rooms come with Futon beds which are laid out for you on the Tatami. The service was very good and the front desk staff do speak English well enough to communicate with each other. The Ryokan hotel is very clean and comfortable. We were not able to go out to the Japanese garden as it was winter and thus closed but you have full view of it from the lobby area. The Onsen (and there are at least 3 onsens per gender) was very nice and comfortable (they open in the morning and after 4pm but not in between). Each Japanese hotel room also had its own toilet and bathtub which is also very comfortable. One suggestion for improvement is that the Futon should come with one more layer of cushion otherwise it’s quite hard for those not so used to the Japanese futons. Breakfast was a treat and the food was always very beautifully laid out. The Ryokan’s location is to the north-west of Kyoto. It’s not too accessible unless you have hired your own car (parking is free). There is also a mini-bus service that the Ryokan operates but we did not use it. There is a 7 Eleven about 1 minute’s drive away. One criticism is that the wifi in the Ryokan is not strong at all and you often get cut off. They should consider installing a better wifi system. I also think that the Wifi network is possibly funded partly by the government rather than by the Ryokan itself. They should certainly consider installing their own wifi system which cannot be that expensive. Dinner was quite expensive (about £45 equivalent) so we drove to the nearest station at Kita Oji which has a mall with several restaurants. If you want to take dinner at Ryokan Nenrinbo you’d need to tell the front desk 1 day in advance. For 3 nights, the standard room cost us HK$4500 while the bigger garden view room cost us HK$6700 for the bigger room (all inclusive of breakfast).
Opened in 2021, the Kouhaku Kinkaku Roku offers travelers a pleasant stay in Kyoto, whether for business or leisure purposes. The hotel is only 3km from Touji Railway Station and 39km from Osaka International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Kuramaguchi Metro Station within walking distance. Keeping busy is easy, with Kenkun Shrine, Omiya Onsen and Nishijin No Orimachi Town all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.
The machiya is located in a very convenient place for sightseeing in Kyoto, where you can visit Kinkakuji Temple and Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in about 10 minutes on foot. The rooms have been renovated in the spring of 2021, so you can spend a comfortable stay in a clean room. The rooms are equipped with underfloor heating, so you can stay in Kyoto even in the coldest of weather. The living room is divided into Western and Japanese-style rooms. In the Tatami room, you can sit comfortably and sip tea while admiring the garden, and in the Western space, you can relax on the sofa. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, kitchen tools, and tableware.Food can be prepared and served at the machiya. In the bathroom, we have prepared a deep cypress bath. The fresh fragrance of the cypress will help you relax and unwind from the fatigue of daily life and travel.”kouhaku Kinkaku Fuku" and "kouhaku Kinkaku Roku" are located next to each other, each of which is an independent guest house. We also recommend using them as accommodations for groups of up to 12 people.
The hotel is located at the back of Kyoto Station, which is a little bit off. It may be a little inconvenient if you bring children! But it's still quiet there! But it's very convenient to get used to the surroundings! To go to Sanjusangentang, you don't need to take a bus in front of the station, follow the navigation, and you will be there! I didn’t order breakfast, so I don’t know how?
Hotel in Kyoto Shichijo. From Kyoto Station, access is not good for about 15 minutes on foot, but it is very close to Keihan train "Shichijo station" and 2 minutes on foot. The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities. Also, there was no time to use it very much this time, but the lobby lounge was also very fashionable. It was still a new hotel, and the accommodation fee was cheap and excellent in cost performance.
The breakfast service was in place and the foreign lady was sent to the room. It is suitable for bringing children, the room is clean and tidy, there are two buildings in the north building of the South Building, and there is a young lady who can speak Chinese. Miss Japan's front desk is very warm, beautiful, very good hotel. The district committee is also good, and there are many Japanese-style houses around, you can take pictures.
Extremely not recommended is a luxury series in the marriott. Hotel location is OK, Kyoto jr stand out and take a taxi for half an hour. A 3-minute walk from the hotel is the Net Red Shop% Coffee Shop and Michelin Aussie. Looking back and feeling, this hotel did not feel the service of high-end brands at all, let alone the so-called Japanese service. I live in a room with a hot spring in the yard. About 10,000 rmb a night. Of course, there are also reasons for the price increase of the holiday. Usually, it is estimated to be seven or eight thousand. First of all, the room is very simple and there is nothing special. This is ignored first. 1, breakfast is only available in Japanese and Western styles, but it is really very simple and not very delicious. Western style is basically omelet and sausage ham, plus bread and coffee. Mainly still do not eat well. Breakfast is not to win more. Let's talk about the service of breakfast. The Japanese English is understandable, but where is the awareness of active service? It is really not comparable to the service quality of major hotels or restaurants in China. After the tea was finished, I didn’t know how to add it. I called the waiter three or four times to add water. When you give bread, don't ask which one you want. If you let go, don't ask if you need butter. In fact, there are not many guests, only a total of 5 small tables, 10 people are not. The four waiters were too busy to fly and didn't know what they were doing, and they turned their heads. The things you ask for basically have to wait a long time. If you are going to the sights, it will be a waste of your time. After eating for an hour, I have to ask myself to get the bread from the set. I really don't know if I met a group of new people in Zhongfu? 2, the service is very inconspicuous, just write the member number (according to copy) to write the wrong, write an e-mail to them to send the bill, to the app to see or wrong, really do not understand the copy can also write wrong? There are still a lot of small mistakes that can't be remembered. This small mistake has not been seen in other hotels. And this shouldn't be tied to the level of the hotel, it's too rough. 3, do not call the meal delivery service, it may be okay to order cheaper, think about the hotel meal less than where to go, at night, too lazy to call the cow rice (unit price 5,000 yen and service charge) to open a real look There is no difference between the taste and the meat quality and the Yoshinoya tens of dollars. 4, stayed for two nights, the deep feeling is a Westernized hotel, did not live in Kyoto Hongxi Noya, but if someone is living in which one, I would not recommend you to Tsui, very worthless. Too many domestic service qualities are much higher than them, not to mention the fact that there are more guests in the country than they are. The hotel is very small. There is no other place to go except for a small yard. The restaurant only has A very small hotel, the so-called luxury experience is nothing, rough things, and compared to some street food restaurants in Kyoto. I really don't understand the price and level. Why is this service level? Very very, very not recommended! Don't waste money!
For the first time staying, just write something
The video was taken at the crossroads of the four access roads and the Xidongyuan access road (the road where the hotel is located). There is a big country drug store on the opposite side of the road. The tax can be refunded when it reaches 5,000. There are four young Chinese sisters and a Chinese-speaking Japanese brother . There is a convenience store for the whole family next to it.
Picture 1 is Exit 26 of the Karasuma Subway Line (Green Line). There is a coffee shop next to SUINA Muromachi. At the end of the underground passage is Exit 26. When you walk up the escalator, you will see four passages (there is a bus stop). Go back to the exit and go to the left. The third intersection is the video. Cross the road at the third crossroad and walk left to pass the family convenience store about 50 meters to the hotel.
2. Check-in procedure
Unfortunately the front desk only speaks Japanese and English
After giving the passport to the front desk, you will be asked to fill in the Chinese address, phone number and signature (fill in Chinese only).
Then there are things to note:
① For safety, when you go upstairs to the black square of the elevator, you must press the room card to press the elevator button. See figure eight
② Breakfast is on the second floor. You need to take the breakfast voucher to go. I will give you a brand "In Food", put the brand on a large black plate, and then take a plate, chopsticks, knife and fork, wipe the towel and so on. After you finish eating, return the “Food” sign to the person at the door, and leave the other plates on the table. However, the Japanese-style breakfast food is okay, the taste is ok, and there are too few varieties. If you are not used to it, go to the family convenience store. See Figures 4 and 5
③ There is a men's and women's bathhouse next to the elevator on the first floor. Bath towels are not provided. Bring a large towel in your room when you go. It is recommended to bring a small towel. The door of the bathhouse should be opened with a room card. The man's card is dark brown and the woman's card is white. Don't make a mistake. After entering, drag it on the shoe rack to remember your number, don't get it wrong when you leave. Then take off your clothes (you can change to a bathrobe in the room), put the room card, clothes, and bath towels in the frame, lock the wardrobe door, and remove the key and put it on your wrist. If you are carrying gold bricks or diamonds, you can store them in a steel valuables locker. Close the door and remove the key strap on your wrist. Entering naked (the door is a sliding door, the push cannot be opened, bring a small towel.), It is a Japanese habit to take a bath, bathe, and soak. If you go to the bath without washing up, I'm sorry I don't know you, unless there is no one, I look at you with contempt. It is very comfortable to take a bath in the day and sleep well. It is recommended to take a bath for about 5-10 minutes, otherwise it will peel and it is easy to heat stroke. After coming out, the towels were used up and thrown directly into the box where the towels were recycled. There were cotton swabs and a hairdryer next to them. See figure seven
④ Check-out time is 11 o'clock.
Pay attention to the use time, some need half an hour in advance.
3. If you do n’t have enough cash, you can change it on the first floor exchange machine. You can choose Chinese. See figure six
4. The room is small and the whole is clean. The two bottles of water in the refrigerator and the tea bags on the table are free and you can drink as much as you want. See Figures 2 and 3
5. The hotel is close to Kyoto Imperial Palace, Nishiki Market, Daimaru Department Store, and Anime Museum. 5 star praise, will choose here next time.
The hotel is located in a strategic area of Kyoto for visiting the districts of Gion and Ishigawa. A very basic structure, with rather narrow rooms and bathrooms as in the Japanese media. The cleaning is good and the reception of the staff is excellent. It can be said without doubt that the availability and friendliness of the staff and perhaps the strong point of the hotel. The price of around € 90 for a double with bathroom is good for the average of Kyoto prices
I used it when I was traveling in Kyoto with two people. It was very convenient because it is located in Kawaramachi, a downtown area of Kyoto, and is close to izakaya and amusement facilities.
Also, I used to stay without meals, but I didn't have any trouble with breakfast because there was a shop nearby that was open from the morning.
Amenity-related items were also substantial, and it was a very cospa-friendly stay.
Very good store, the boss is very nice, very warm, the room is clean and tidy. In the evening, they lived with an old couple, and they were very good. In addition, the paid breakfast on the first floor is also very good.
I was pretty worried at the beginning of the review, but it was really okay, right next to Kamogawa, there are a lot of restaurants in a row, the quiet side of the road is good, I like it. The room was clean, the windows opened well and the room was relatively large. We will ask for reservations if we are late for breakfast. The disadvantage is that it is quite far from the subway and attractions. It is just in the middle of Dijo Shijo Station and Gojo, which is more suitable for leisure travel partners.
It is conveniently located diagonally opposite Kyoto Station, and there are many shops and restaurants around. Don Quixote, Yodo Yaki, Isetan and more. The hotel is great and the service is exceptional. The little brother at the front desk smiled a lot, and will also give you a Chinese version of the instructions when you check in. The hotel has a lot of non-Japanese guests, so the TV has many foreign language stations. Phoenix TV, both CCTV-4. The breakfast was a horrible meal, and it was so good. Take various skin care products casually in the lobby on the first floor. The bathroom mirror in the room is magical, and the piece in the middle of the shower will never be blurred. I touched my hand and it was hot. But it felt cold in the morning. It seems that the mirror has an induction function, and it will automatically heat up when it encounters steam. The bathtub also has a sensual function, and the water will automatically turn off when it is placed in a certain position. Very advanced. There is a Seven convenience store next to it too convenient. I bought it at 12 o'clock the day before leaving. Don Quixote is also very good. There are all kinds of cheap and good goods, and the boxes are full.
Awesome, booked a honeymoon room, the appearance of the style is particularly emotional, the room also prepared free coffee, tea, mask, eye mask and other things, feel particularly attentive, the surrounding traffic is also very convenient, especially close to Kiyomizu-dera, a place to take a break
Two adult OK beds with jacuzzi shower TV all available 15 o'clock check-in but can store luggage The front desk will be English and Japanese Breakfast is 750 for a daily stay and 400 yen tax can be received. The adult channel has a parking lot and is 14 minutes walk from the tram station
A family of three, chartered to eat and pack the bubble, per capita 850 yuan, cost-effective. The service attitude is super good, and the professional guides the play of the three temples. The bathhouse is clean and comfortable with a high water temperature. Dinner or sukiyaki pot (only one person in the picture) is very good, full of help to the wall. The breakfast is also very authentic, very good. A total of 8 rooms, mainly Japanese natives.
Like this old hotel in Okura, low-key and comfortable. Is a oneharmony member and lives on the 15th floor with a nice view. Both of the given rooms are very quiet on the top floor. Western and Japanese breakfasts are taken in turns, and the scenery is excellent. The subway is convenient to travel downstairs. The bad weather does not affect travel. The coffee shop on the first floor ate several signature dim sum French toasts, apple pie, etc., which were all very popular. Going to Kyoto will continue to choose to live here.
It was beautiful.
Amenities are systems that bring the necessary amount from the receptionist. There was a refrigerator, deodorant and pot in the room.
It's quiet because it faces a narrow road.
5 minutes walk from Omiya station ～ 10 minutes.
There are shops around Omiya station, such as MacDonald, Matsuya, the king of gyoza, gast, CoCo, etc., so it is not troublesome for restaurants. It is convenient because seven eleven and FamilyMart are around Omiya station. There was a supermarket called Fresco.
This location is far from Kyoto station but near to mtr station. The staff are nice and helpful. The style of hotel and simple and modern Japanese style. The most important point is the room is enormous without any crowded feeling even 2 28 inch luggages.
Eleven Kansai Tourism, the best hotel, very close to Kyoto Station, young people can't do it, the old man can get 1 subway station. The hotel was pleasantly surprised by the soup, but it was public, but the whole was very good. This hotel is subject to consumption tax. I haven't figured it out yet. They are all booked by Ctrip. Some hotels charge for it, some don't accept it. This eleven trip, this family received the consumption tax. However, the front desk service is very good, help us to book the Michelin restaurant in Japanese, great.
The hotel is conveniently located just opposite Kyoto Station; just a crossroad from the east exit; there are convenience stores downstairs; there are many dining options in Kyoto Station; most of the attractions are convenient; but to Gion It may be more convenient to play. The hotel room is large, and the room for three adults is also very spacious. The bathroom is separated from the wet and dry, which is convenient for several people to use at the same time. It is especially suitable for family travel. The staff at the front desk were warm and attentive; the facilities were also complete and they could do the laundry themselves; it would be better if there were more laundry facilities. highly recommended.
It was very convenient because it was a 5-minute walk from Shijo Karasuma.
The moment I entered the hotel, it was wonderful! I was glad that the moment I entered the room came. The room had a modern Japanese taste and was spacious and clean, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. It was even better that the bath in the room was large and the toilet was different.
I also used the large communal bath, but the carbonated spring made me feel tired.
The large communal bath was clean and spacious, and I enjoyed it slowly.
It is a hotel I want to stay again.
The location is a bit walk from the station. I don't feel the oldness of the facilities. The room was normally on the top floor of ６ floor, but the water pressure in the bathroom was good. The bed was hard and good, but the pillow was thin and soft. Breakfast was satisfactory with 6:30 〜, the type and the attention to the city hotel. Parking is not available. Wi-Fi was down 7 up 46.
The location is indeed a bit biased. We used 30-40 minutes to walk from Kyoto Station. It may be a long time to get tired after a long time, and it is almost difficult to find a place to eat near the residential area. However, there is dinner in this hotel, in the form of a single point, the price is similar to the outside. Breakfast is timed, because the place where I lived a few days ago is very good, so I feel average. The service is quite good, and there are also Chinese speakers or Chinese instructions. The hot spring is bigger than the one in Osaka. If you want to take a hot spring is recommended, if you don't want to take a hot spring, you don't have to go that far.

It is close to the Shijo-Shijo and Heyuan-cho subway station, and the flower-seeing road is next to it, and it is a 20-minute walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The hotel is very creative and design style, the room is too small, 16,000, 7 living room in the hotel.
The hotel rooms are clean and tidy with complete facilities to meet basic needs. The breakfast is simple and hygienic, suitable for the tastes of Orientals. The transportation is very convenient, not far from the station. There is a Chinese restaurant and 711 convenience store nearby.
The dinner was very unpalatable, I do n’t know what to eat, the sashimi is not fresh, the tempura is not crispy, and the universe is invincible. Dinner is not recommended! !! If you come here, you can choose one berth and one meal (breakfast): Big push hot spring, other facilities and services are very good, even the breakfast is delicious, and the hot spring is very comfortable.
It's about 3 minutes walk from Kyoto Station, which is very convenient. There are very few facilities in the room. Tea bags and instant coffee are at the front desk, so you can take them freely. There are not always plastic bottles of water and drinks in the room. In addition, the hotel does not have a vending machine, so it is a pity that I have to buy it at the convenience store on the first floor if necessary.
Compared with the four seasons of Kyoto and Hongxinuoya, I personally feel that Park Hyatt has won. Master Ji Yutang's design perfectly integrates modern heritage with the elegance of Park Hyatt. A ten-minute walk can avoid the crowds during the day, and take a night tour at night, occasionally meet one or two photography enthusiasts, nodded to indicate the edge, feel the beauty of Kyoto ~ very close to Shijotong
Hotel breakfast can choose Japanese style (reservation required, closes at 10:00, we go 10 minutes late on the last day, it's okay) or Western style (bistro in western restaurant, highly recommended fried udon noodles). But very delicate
Park Hyatt's restaurant, Kyomato Kyoto, doesn't recommend it. The courtyard can be seen from the 5th floor lounge and corridor of the hotel. Take a rest during the lunch break and enjoy it. We choose the most expensive set of 45,000 yen ( 15% service charge is not included, there is no package information, and the wine list has very few varieties ...) The dishes are really not good ... it is more refined than Jiquan kichisen, and you still remember it after eating it ... The scenery is unique. 🉑️ See the Yasaka Iron Tower, the floor-to-ceiling window of the restaurant, overlooking Dongshan, especially at night, it is also great to have a drink and let it go for a while.
All in all, the satisfaction is very high, I recommend everyone to experience ~ ❤️
Toyoko inn has been used as color 々, but this location is about 10 minutes walk from Tanbaguchi station of the nearest station of Sanin line, and it is a little inconvenient compared to other Toyoko inn. However, the traffic volume is there on the front street, but the back is a quiet path like Kyoto, and it was fun to walk. The next day, I walked to Kyoto Station, but it was about 25 minutes walk. I thought that if I didn't hurry, I might have solved the lack of exercise.
