2.66km from ImleesIt takes 8 pounds to drive from the Victoria Square in the city center to the hotel gate. The time is about 10 minutes. The hotel is located 3 minutes walk from the north gate and east gate of University of Birmingham. Inside, there is an authentic Western breakfast, lunch, and a separate hall. When you come here, you will encounter a British wedding and many academic exchanges. It is a great choice for business or tourism.
2.66km from ImleesBooked a twin room for the night before our flight. Big carpark with gates that are locked at night. outside doesnt look much but dont let it put you off. Thank you very much we will definitely return!

3km from ImleesWalk about 300 meters from the train station in Birmingham, diagonally through the gateway built in Fuzhou, China. After the pedestrians of the pagoda, walk about 300 or so. Nearby is Chinatown. There is an iron gate at the entrance of the hotel. After the iron gate opens, the left side is the front desk, where breakfast is eaten. Parking in the iron gate is a bit like a bicycle hotel. The room is basically 1 and 2 floors. Each room has a separate toilet, a shower room with a bathtub, a kettle and no refrigerator. There is a dryer and a heater. Small pieces of clothing can be dried the next morning after washing. Breakfast is mainly British Western style, you can eat well! Don't waste it!
3.01km from ImleesI have stayed with these guys in Birmingham and Southampton and have found them to be a great company to deal with. I was slightly concerned about the deposit after reading a few reviews however after talking to the manager Richard It was explained that they had changed systems and that the issue had been resolved, I paid a deposit which was a pre payment and didn't actually leave my account so I assume it has changed. The building is in a great location only 5 minutes from new street station. Slight moan would be that the security guard could of been happier.

3.09km from ImleesSo me and the boys decided we’d travel up the treaturous M6 to Birmingham, for a night out in broad street. Booked a room in this place and wow, it exceeded all of our expectations. The room was immaculate with plenty of space, and the shower was unreal. Staff were polite and very helpful, can’t really ask for anything more. Only issue was that there wasn’t a hair dryer for one of the more feminine lads, and we did struggle to meet the check out time of 10AM after a heavy night out on the #lash All in all, a top quality service, would highly recommend and I’m sure I’ll be returning frequently in the future. Thank you and god bless.
3.14km from ImleesThe hotel is located in the city center, not far from the train station and the coach station. The black guy Sunny at the front desk was very enthusiastic. Hotel breakfast was good. Within 10 minutes walk from the hotel to the downtown business district. The surrounding environment is good, about 200 meters away from Chinatown.

Hotels Near Imlees In Birmingham Review
Very satisfied with the second stay, the hotel facilities are clean, safe and secure, the breakfast environment is good, the food is rich, the first time the waiter gave the child a small gift. The location of the hotel is good, there is a supermarket near the hotel, the hotel is 5 minutes from the right to the canal, the bar is full of dining, the night view of the canal is beautiful.
Birmingham Marriott Hotel is in a good location from the train station and it is 8 pounds 💷 there is a big supermarket hotel near the hotel. The service is very good. I don't know English. I use the translator to tell the front desk staff that they are very patient. The help of my hotel is very clean. The price of the hotel in Ctrip is not expensive. We have four rooms in one room. The two big beds have been lived several times. It is very satisfying and worth recommending to everyone.

After a very frightening encounter with an intruder on February 20, I must highlight a serious security problem with the Premier Inn New Street hotel. Premier Inn are my favourite hotel chain, and I stay in their hotels many times a year. But the New Street hotel has a very unusual - and dangerous - design. Entry from the street is into a small foyer with NO STAFF there at any time. The foyer leads to lifts and stairs. I booked into the hotel for 4 nights (20-23 Feb) to go to an event which finished late each evening. On Thursday 20 February, I came back to the hotel just after 11 pm. I used my keycard to open the door to the stairs, to go to my room on the 3rd floor. I thought this would be a secure route, as only guests and staff with keycards should be able to access it. On the second landing, a man, in outdoor clothes but with his shoes in his hand, was trying to open the glass door which leads to the bedrooms, A keycard is needed to open this, and clearly he did not have one. I saw that muddy possessions were scattered around him, and suspected that he was one of the (sadly, many) homeless people based around New Street Station, who had somehow got into the hotel. I started to climb the next flight of stairs to my floor, and realised that he was following me . I am 66, weigh 8 stone and am not trained in martial arts! Fortunately, I can still run. I ran to the glass door to my floor, and used my keycard, which I had deliberately kept in my hand for quick use. I then slammed the door shut, just in time.Behind me, the man hammered on the door with his fist, and shouted at me at the top of his voice. I have no idea what mental state he was in, or what would have happened if he had caught up with me. He was only about two seconds behind me. There were no other guests or staff to be seen. I was extremely shaken. I locked myself in my room, and realised I ought to ring Reception at once. But there was no telephone with a number for Reception, nor was there a number on any of the hotel information cards in the room. Eventually I overcame shock, looked up the external phone number of the hotel and rang it. The member of staff on Reception was extremely helpful, and promised to investigate and log the call (which they did). The next day I spoke to the day manager on duty, who was called Alex. He could not have been more concerned and considerate. He confirmed that the incident had been logged, and said that he believed the intruder had been found. I was told later by Premier Inn's Customer Care team that the intruder had been described in the hotel log as a 'homeless person'. I must stress that I chose the stairs because the foyer to the hotel and its lift (which is often slow to arrive) are very insecure. By day, anyone can walk into the foyer after pressing the button. I believe that after 11 pm the doors are locked ,and in theory only guests can open them and enter. But I walked into the foyer just after 11 pm, without
I was bought this package as a gift and was bowled over by how lovely it was. We were greeted by the very friendly owner, Mary, with a glass of Prosecco. We then had a fantastic back massage. Our afternoon tea was very very generous and included multiple teas and coffees, a large jug of orange juice and melon to finish. The place is clean and modern and we were asked several times if we were happy with the music in the background and our tea. An absolutely lovely experience and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
Small hotel restaurant features built-in, go out less than five minutes is the canal business district, a variety of restaurants is very good, the price of a family of three four hundred dollars you can enjoy the special bar ~ Less than five minutes around the National Aquarium and Legoland is entertainment city, especially for children, you can buy a ticket, will offer some of the ~ Location is very good, a variety of restaurants, Grand Canal, Commercial Street, everything ~ Parking fees 14.2 pounds for 24 hours, hourly charge different ~ Dan
My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend a night in one of the apartments in this great hotel! From the moment we arrived, we felt a little special! The check in was easy, and informative and the staff were very pleasant and cheerful. Our room was nothing short of exceptional. Clean, tidy and very spacious with all the amenities you would expect from a 5* hotel! We were fortunate enough to have an apartment on the top floor, with French doors leading out to a large patio, with stunning views of the city! Would recommend the small charge for the secure car parking on site. Certainly would stay here again when we are in the area, or even any of their many locations across the country or indeed abroad, if the same standard is the norm!
Very good hotel, clean, cost-effective and safe. I studied abroad in Birmingham ten years ago so I know this location is very convenient. Downstairs is Chinatown. Within 10 minutes walk to the train station bullring shopping! highly recommended! Although the hotel faces the street, the glass is double-glazed, and even the toilets are sound-proofed! The price of this hotel in the UK is really a bargain!
English breakfast, I feel ordinary Hotel location is convenient, not far from Birmingham new street station, due to road construction, walking to the train station is faster than taking a taxi Business is more suitable, very clean and very quiet
An excellent value hotel. I stayed midweek so cannot comment on what things are like at the weekend regarding guest’s behaviour mentioned elsewhere hereabouts. The room and public areas are clean, well decorated and perfectly acceptable. Reception was seamless and friendly. Quiet at night and bed very comfortable so slept well. All-in-all excellent value and centrally located. Oh, and free parking too! Now my new choice of hotel when in business in Birmingham. I’ll be back.
The location is very convenient. The exterior looks a bit old. It is very close to the train station. It is a 5 minute walk from Chinatown. It is also close to the Chinatown. It is also a 5-minute walk. The facilities are not as good as expected. It is suitable for children with extra beds. You can go to Chinatown to eat the recommended Taoyuan (roast duck). Rice) Pepper Chef (grill and salted bean flower) 熬 (first floor snack) 柒 (hot pot) tea rice home (dessert drink) 壹正烧 (Taiwanese food braised pork rice silver silk roll)
Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value
Had stayed here recently for business purpose as not many hotels open around at the moment, was a bit hesitant to book the room here at first but it was a fairly good stay and room was not that bad, hotel is kept clean and tidy as well. Had no issue with noise either due to not many people staying because of current situation. Overall I had a good experience.
My booking was confirmed to stay the 26/06/20 at this travelodge, which I’d made that same day. I understand the stay was booked during COVID-19, although I am a key worker and was having trouble at home so needed a night away. When booking the hotel it said open to support key workers, in which I work in a dental practice for the NHS. I was able to provide evidence of this. Also when proceeding with the payment it offered me the option to select business or leisure, I chose leisure as the stay wasn’t work related. However when I arrived at the hotel and provided my indications that I’m a key worker they declined my stay as it weren’t for business, they said I could’ve only stayed there if the stay was due for work. I think this is poor of travelodge and the website for not mentioning my stay had to be work related just had to be a key worker. The payment still proceeded and even though it was a saver rate, I still think I’m entitled to a refund as it is false advertisement, by not stating clearly that the key worker has to be working the during the stay. Also it should not have give me the option to choose leisure during this time to still take my money. I can’t fault the reception staff as it weren’t their fault, they were helpful as they gave me a contact number to contact customer services and email, but I haven’t heard anything back after doing so straight away, I do understand this is a busy time. Regards, Eden.
More suitable for business travel, the room is too ordinary, just ordinary express hotel, buffet breakfast is also very average. The hotel does not have free parking. You can park in the opposite mall, but the parking fee is about 20 pounds. It is better to set the crown next to it and also bring free parking.
I once lived in Canada on holiday inn and I feel pretty good, but really it is a lot worse. But the room is still very clean, it is enough for business trip
I had this hotel booked months in advance for a concert at the arena opposite but obviously due to COVID everything is postponed, I decided to keep the hotel anyway and do a little shopping. The hotel looks very tired and in need of a transformation outside but inside was clean, tidy and the room was huge! Everything I needed was provided and the lady on the desk who I believe was called Marjorie was so friendly and welcoming & checked me in slightly early. We ended up chatting for around 15 minutes, she was so nice I popped to the Sainsbury opposite and purchased the staff some chocolate biscuits for their break! Only downsides were the bar opposite waking me up in the early hours emptying their bottle bins, so I’d definitely ask for a room on the opposite side if I stayed again, also the whole of broad street is closed off to traffic while they install the new tram system so you may have to go out of your way to the hotel around the diversions in place. Everything else was top notch and I’d definitely stay again, also...there’s a great Wetherspoon just down the street and a five guys which sells amazing burgers!
Not our first stay here and I am more than sure that it will not be the last either. Please don't go there thinking you will be in a posh hotel in a posh room, you will be disappointed, however if you go with the view of what you are paying for the room then I don't think you will be disappointed at all, it is cheap and cheerful, friendly staff and plenty of places to get food outside with a supermarket right across the road. . . And a great nights sleep too.
5 minutes from the train station, in and out of the card, very safe, the front desk to answer seriously, breakfast is continental breakfast, buffet, enough to eat, hot milk and hot water, kitchen with cutlery, you can cook for yourself
Booked online for £27.99! Arrived late so little car park in front or hotel was full but there must be 500 spaces in big car park 5 mins away opposite hotel. How one reviewer says parking was poor i don’t know. You take a token and next morning the travel lodge zap it and then when you leave it let’s you out for free! Room was clean and spacious, all look over the car park and not road. Retail park 5 mins drive away. Honestly it’s a great place for a quick pit stop!
The environment is good. Good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good. The environment is good. Good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good, good.
Hotel location is very good, just inside the school, the environment is also good & #128077; & # 127999;, around the Tesco supermarket, ten minutes walking distance from the city center! The room is small, the bathroom is small, the washbasin is the size of two lunch boxes, and the ground that will be washed will be all water! The bed is small and narrow, it seems to be about 1.3 meters, poor husband 1 meter eight people. . . However, it seems that Europe is such a room, so I don't say anything! Hotel breakfast tastes good! Baked bread is super delicious! Classic British breakfast variety, service is still very good!

I specially booked a room for my boyfriend's birthday! The room is really big, hygienic and clean, all kitchen utensils are provided, but it is too hot. That location has been exposed to the sun.
Location was good just next to China town and a few minutes walk from city Centre and Birmingham new street station. The location of the hotel is very good, it is convenient to eat and go shopping, and it is only a short walk from the train station bus station. The room is also very spacious, very suitable for free travel, and the price is very high!
A lovely young lady named Brooke is always helpful, always smiling no matter what. Myself and my partner have come a few times now to this Premier inn and mainly because of the service we get from Brooke. I have noticed she works nights and for someone being on a night shift and being Jolly at all times is amazing. Most of the times we get fobbed off by staff, but she always goes that extra mile with her service and is so wonderful. We order food most nights and the takeaways don’t provide any cutlery and Brooke always gives us plastic cutlery wrapped in plastic wrappers. Love the fact she follows all the guidelines at the same time for covid 19 and makes us feel safe coming to the hotel. We wouldn’t go anywhere else and we have come and stayed a few times already in the week because of her. Can’t thank her enough and she is so much credit to the company.
This could be a quick review and I could sum up in one word - “Perfect” but as trip advisor wants at least 200 characters I’ll expand a little. I’ve now been several times over the years but thought I would add another review post lock down. I’m sure I’m not the only person that treats post lockdown reviews as the basis for decisions on where to go and stay. Tim and his team have done a wonderful job at making a stay at Clover spa a safe and relaxing stay as possible. Booking times for dinner and breakfast may sound limiting but seems to work well. On the subject of food I think that the food has got even better. It’s tasty and home cooked. Both the spa and hotel rooms are sparkling clean and re-cleaned regularly. Tim has a great team here who are friendly and helpful. To walk in after a year and a half and get acknowledged by name was a good start and continued during the stay. Not sure how Tim manages to recruit such a good team but they are a credit to him and Clover. I couldn’t do the review without mentioning to two wonderful massages that I had. Both were blissful can certainly feel the difference after them. The therapy rooms we’re were cleaned between each person and appropriate COVID precautions during the massage. The new hot tub installed this year is a great addition and plenty of room for social distancing in there, as everywhere at Clover Spa. The only thing that let the stay down was the traffic on the way home but as good as Tim and his team are they can’t control that. If you want somewhere you can go and shut the world outside then this is the place to go. I hope to be back soon. Thanks for a fabulous relaxing break.
Attended with family members for a sporting occasion . What an excellent hotel . Scrumptious breakfast , I was particularly impressed by the toaster effeciency . Other guests were charming: Lively local people around particularly on Saturday night . Ingenious key system and lovely staff. It wasn’t hot so we kept the windows shut , reducing risk of unwanted access. Keep it up!
In the heart of Birmingham, it is really difficult to find a hotel with free parking, comfortable and inexpensive accommodation. This hotel perfectly meets the needs and will stay in
The weekday price is really good value, very close to the train station, clean. Neat, this weekday price does not need to live in airbnb. Weekend prices are different from weekday prices. Highly recommended
