|1.41km from city centerFor the hotel set by cruise ship, the location is just opposite the pier, and there is also its own free parking lot, which is super convenient. The room is a budget hotel, which is quite satisfactory. The most unexpected thing was the hotel's breakfast, which was hearty, and overlooked the harbour. It's not far from the scenic area, if you can, you can walk along the beach to Sijiaochang and the Royal Palace. We walked slowly for about 45 minutes. Overall very satisfied.

|0.92km from city centerWe stayed at this hotel two separate times during our stay in Sicily in April 2022. It's a lovely hotel. It's right in the middle of so many sights and felt safe. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with big bathrooms. One of our rooms had a view of the hills and the other was street side. My mom's room had a huge balcony that we spent time on soaking up the sun and the sounds of the city. My main reason for writing this review to highlight the AMAZING care the staff provided to my mom and her friend. They caught COVID and were quarantined to this hotel. I was terrified leaving them in Sicily while I went home but the staff took such good care of them. They knew their room number and would ask how my mom was feeling when she called to order breakfast (which is a great breakfast by the way). They helped coordinate retesting. They reassured my mom and were always available to help. My mom and her friend were living off room service and would rave about how great the food and wine was. One employee in particular, Barbara, went above and beyond. She would stop by to see my mom and help her with whatever she needed, such as going to the supermarket to get medical supplies. They were stuck there over Easter and she even brought my mom a chocolate Easter bunny :) and she brought them flowers too and it really brightened their day. My mom and her friend both said she had such a pleasant personality and made them feel cared about and loved. I truly believe their great service actually helped my mom and her friend recover quicker. It was so reassuring knowing that they were in caring hands. We want to go back as soon as they can and will pick this hotel again. Thank you everyone who works there!

|2.22km from city centerWhat a great little hotel in a lovely place! It is clean and large enough to be professionally run and managed, yet small enough to feel like a family fun place. It is located just off the town square in a quiet side street and is about 5-10 minutes walk down the hill to the harbour front and the ferry. The hill from the ferry harbour up to the town and the hotel is quite steep but the hotel laid on a car to take us and our bags up and down at the start and end of our stay. My friend and I stayed there recently for a scuba diving trip on the island and the owners Fabio and Rosselita gave us a lovely welcome, and our twin room was comfortable and clean with a balcony overlooking the quiet street. We had to get up early each day to catch our dive boat so the lovely breakfast we had each morning was very welcome, and the smart breakfast room overlooking the town and the Mediterranean sea was clean and tidy. And being Italy the breakfast coffee is amazing!

There are many other bars on the way, this one we found to be the smartest, nice furniture, sensational views, clean toilets, topped off with slightly surly service. I know we are in Italy, where service at times can be hit and miss, however so many establishments do it really well. When you take everything into account, this is well worth a visit, I even managed to get her to smile once 👍.

|0.3km from city centerWe spent three nights here with the wonderful Rosa. The room was very comfortable and well laid out with direct entry into the garden if we wanted to use it. Excellent air conditioning, very comfortable bed, good linens and well laid out bathroom. Top notch housekeeping - everything was immaculate. As others have mentioned, the breakfasts that Rosa prepares are sublime. The most wonderful selection of homemade baked goods, fresh fruits, pastries, the best ricotta I have ever tasted (from nearby Castelbuono, I believe), salami, ham and other cheeses - and perfect cafe espresso, cappuccino, etc. All of this is served in a lovely breakfast room overlooking the garden. Rosa is also a font of useful information regarding restaurants, sights and basically anything you might need. We would love to return.

Very helpful and informative about where we could visit in Sicily. Helped us with booking tickets and nothing was too much trouble for her. Visited Cefalu by train and the Sicilia Outlet mall by bus and basically walked the city of Palermo as well as using the hop on hop off bus service. Felt safe even at night. This was our first visit to Sicily and I’m sure we will be back. I recommend the B&B Maxim as the place to stay and Ottos as the place to eat

|0.08km from city centerHo alloggiato in questa struttura per 2 notti ed ho scelto la suite con vasca idromassaggio e sauna in camera che devo dire ho apprezzato parecchio Ho un apprezzato un po’ meno la camera Letto e cuscini scomodi per le mie abitudini in quando letto bassi e materasso scomodo cuscino troppo piatti Ritengo che se prenoti una suite dai per scontato che la colazione sia compresa invece la mattina scendo nella sala colazioni e mi viene riferito che non è compresa la colazione ,cosa che mi fa restare parecchio male, La vetrata della camera è fornita di tende che non chiudono bene per cui al mattino la luce entra in tutto il suo splendore anche il kit di cortesia bagno lascia a desiderare Buona la posizione un po’ scomodo se arrivi in auto il parcheggio dista un po’ . Peccato soggiorno un po’ sotto le mie aspettative

The staff was friendly and helpful. We also went upstairs for nice view of Mondello and have an aperitivo and enjoyed sunset. The location is perfect as it is close to the water but not in busiest part of Mondello. They also offer parking within the location so that is a plus. We definitely recommend this place and will come back! We also were pleasantly surprised to find a cat family in adjacent front vegetation/plants. We could see them from the top level. It was a beautiful family of a mother cat and her two kittens. So Sweet! (It seems as staff wasnt aware of them as when we inquired they didnt seem to know what we were talking about) Hopefully someone takes care of them or takes them in as they were so beautiful and innocent.

|1.14km from city centerThe hotel was not obvious for us - when we arrived, we drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a sign before parking on the wrong side of the road, and having to call for instructions. It was our fault, as the hotel tried contacting us earlier in the day but we did not have signal to take the call. Once we were instructed to the right place, it was super straightforward as Gianluca buzzed us in remotely, and upon verifying ID, let us into the unit and our bedroom. The lift in the building was super cool - for this experience alone I recommend staying in this hotel.
The room was charming. Our previous hotel was a suite so this felt a bit small, but it was homely all the same. The small downside was how warm it felt in the room. The air conditioning wouldn't work with the windows open, but it wasn't running very strong. At night, we preferred keeping the window open for some fresh air instead. The poster bed added a quaint and romantic feel to the room, and we were absolutely spoilt with a surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as a gift! Of course, the highlight of the whole place was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. As we both had to do some work and also were tired from a road trip, all of these little touches made the stay in this hotel incredibly luxurious for us. I really recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.

|0.93km from city centerLovely room and was surprised to have Tea, Coffee and Breakfast provided. As you are in centre of Palermo the road noise is a bit loud so bring some ear plugs. It's about a 10 minute walk Palermo Lolli train station there is a direct train from the Airport to this station. Trains in Sicily are slow but cheap compared to the UK. The host was very welcoming and provided a Map pointing out where to go. It's about a 5 min walk to the main area and there is a Supermarket a little further down the road. There is a Fridge in the communal Kitchen where you can keep your Wine chilled. The room was clean, comfy bed and a nice Bathroom. As in most of Italy there are stairs so if you arent so nimble be warned.

A great restaurant is attached with a lively ambiance + great food. The place has a lot of character and celebrates 54 years in biz. Well done! The elevated position means that it’s a walk down hill to the town but more importantly a walk back up to your room. The steps down to the main road are lit at night. It can be a bit of a drag up the hill and would challenge someone who was infirm or unfit. The walls were thin so noises were easily heard and there was some building work in a neighbouring property that started at 0800. This was listed as a B&B and although the listing didn’t specifically say there was breakfast we assumed there would be one, this being a bed and breakfast. Apparently this is not served in low season. This means when you go out for breakfast you’re probably out for the day to avoid walking back up that hill. The room rate reflected the location and lack of breakfast. Overall a low price but a bit of an inconvenient location. You get what you pay for.

Negatives: It was very noisy and my husband didn't get a lot of sleep. Plug sockets are difficult to work out. Lighting was bad - super dark - they only used lamps to light the room which we found strange. No chairs on balcony. Would have rated better if it wasn't advertised as a four star. We did not feel that the hotel lived up to the standards of other four star hotels.

|1.91km from city centerWe had a great time at this resort! The views are great as well as the amenities. Free parking, nice pool, free breakfast and good food. Staff was also friendly. Free private beach with chairs included. The beach is beautiful too. This hotel is more for people who like to party and have a good time. They havr entertainment every night with music and dancing, which we found fun. But if you want a quiet place this might not be for you. It’s only 15 minute drive from the city. The only issue we had was the air conditioning wasn’t working well in our room, and depending on your room the walls are bit thin so you may be able to hear your neighbors if they are loud. Overall, it exceeded our expectations for the price!

Quando siamo entrati ci hanno accolti con professionalità (personale altamente qualificato) indicandoci gli orari di ingresso per la spa e dei vari servizi. La Spa credo che sia forse la più bella e curata della provincia di Palermo (ne ho visitate tante), e credo sia l'unica a trovarsi completamente alla luce del giorno, avvolta da pareti in vetro, circondate dal verde che ti fanno sentire in un ambiente quasi naturale. Le stanze sono pulitissime, alla luce e magnificamente confortevoli (abbiamo dormito veramente bene). Il direttore Quartararo (persona squisita) ci ha mostrato grande professionalità e accortezza nei nostri confronti. La colazione ricca ci ha permesso Credo di tornare molto presto per permetterci di donare alla nostra vita un momento di particolare relax.

La stanza era ben messa con il terrazzino , il bagno pulito e spazioso . La colazione era inclusa e buona con cornetti e varie , e servizio bar espresso . Ho cenato la prima sera con un'ottima ricciola e ho chiesto delle patatine fritte che mi sono state servite in abbondanza... grazie . La piscina credo 12/13 mt e' un valore aggiunto per un momento di relax e antistress . All'interno c'è qualche posto auto il che non guasta .... è ovvio che tornerò.

Everything is super clean, the host, Giovanni, is excellent, smart, attentive and a real Sicilian. Breakfast on the terrace is a treat in the chaos of this very lively city. The only issue I had was that there is quite a lot of nightlife below on the street every night....creating a bit of noise. Otherwise, a lovely stay!

During the stay, she offered us bottles of fresh water. The lady has a cat that loves to be dressed by the guests + I and my friend arrived in the building at 14.00. The room was already available + The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. The beds are comfortable + The common bathroom is spacious and always kept clean. Several products for personal hygiene are available to customers + Breakfast is abundant. There are coffee, milk, fruit juices, brioches, yoghurt, bread with nutella and marmelade, cereals + Wi-Fi is excellent - The hotel is located on the second floor of a little old palace - Via Roma has been trafficed since the early morning. Traffic noises are heard even if taxes are closed - When staying, the room has never been cleaned and beds have never been re-worked

|1km from city centerI haven't even checked out yet, but this is a great place to stay. Hosts Luigi and Gaetano are AWESOME; super friendly. My room had individual heating which came in handy as it's still technically winter. The location is FANTASTIC! It's hidden in a little piazza less than 10 minutes walk to Teatro Massimo. There are several restaurants and a sweet shop in the piazza and a Coop market across from the entrance to purchase whatever to need. I'd definitely stay here if I had another trip to Palermo. Molto grazie!

Finally a well-kept, clean and with all the services of the apartment well-functioning. The centre of the main course is ideal and the beach is also reached with a 15-minute walk. The SPA service, which has absolutely affordable costs, offers an additional relaxing opportunity. Any problem is addressed immediately by the direction, unlike the menefreghism found in other managements in the same country. The price-quality ratio is optimal, especially when compared with other proposals that cost much less but offer a significantly lower quality of services.

|3.57km from city centerSo my boyfriend and I flew to Palermo as one of our first holidays and we had a few problems with the city itself but the hotel itself was amazing. We paid 36/night and we were welcomed by amazing and lovely staff, a clean, modern hotel room and a comfortable bed to sleep in. The room had a safe in it which was free and helped ease our worries as first time travellers. Getting to the hotel is very easy with a tram stop (L1) only a 6 minute walk and a bus stop on the door of the hotel. I cannot explain how lovely the staff were, they were amazing. One thing of note is the area around the hotel isn’t as pretty as the rest of Palermo but this isn’t the hotels fault and doesn’t affect our rating of it. For the price we paid, this hotel was absolutely amazing.

It is centrally located with bakeries, restaurants, shops and history right on your doorstep. Although it is a busy road, as is all the center you cannot hear the traffic in the room. The photographs of the Hotel absolutely do not do it justice at all, it is so much better.
