      We decided to stay here because it was located in an area with several shops and restaurants nearby because we were at a race nearby. Check in was so easy for my husband and I. The bellman was super sweet and kind. He offered to helps us with our bikes. Our room was overall very clean. Although nothing is ever perfect, based on my experience as we both travel in our jobs, we had a fantastic time here. The Westin is definitely a place to stay with family or even just a special event. My two boys enjoyed the pool and the activities around the area. The Main Event was in walking distance and our boys played for hours there. We will be back.

      I’ve stayed at Marriott properties more times than I can remember, but the Fairfield Inn Huntsville Alabama location is the only one that for one reason or another can’t seem to provide regular or even semi-regular housekeeping service. A notice posted at the front desk says you have to request housekeeping services by 8AM the day of your next stay…So after being her 3 days, I requested housekeeping…. Made the request 3 days in a row…nothing for 3 days in a row. Ended up changing my own bedding and I pick up towels from the front desk every other day. And I’m doing like most people and leaving my dirty towels and trash in the hallway. The one day I had off and was sleeping and didn’t request housekeeping…they show up. Another issue that I’ve never encountered with Marriott is this one doesn’t have a laundry room on-site…. but they do provide directions to another Marriott location that has a laundry room.

      was driving cross country with my husband. We booked a room which the manager was very accommodating with because I booked a smoking room.She charged it for me.Unfortunately our TV had a problem so she was kind enough to switch our room.It was getting late so instead of putting our stuff in the room all we did was check to make sure the TV worked and went for dinner. We came back and backed our car in because we had two bikes on the back and even though we had them locked,we wanted to not bring so much attention to them.All of a sudden a black man stepped out from the dark stairwell and stood across the car and just stared at us.He wouldn't stop! Then we shut the car but locked all the doors hoping he would go away,but instead he stands right behind my car and was just waiting. I told my husband to go drive to the office because this guy is a threat. So as we started to drive he started cursing and following us. I jumped out and ran in the office to ask for help and then I hear my husband fighting with him and I panicked. I didn't know if he had a weapon and we were not in our neck of the woods.The worker told him to leave or he would call the cops but the man said we stole his daughters bike! He kept insisting and threw the race card in saying we weren't being nice because we were white, but he really wasn't in his right mind.He sId he knew our car and was coming back for it so of course we didn't feel safe staying there.As we looked for another place we saw this guy walking the the next hotel in the area called the Bamma INN. THANKFULLY, the manager returned our money the next day and it wasn't their fault but no one deserves to encounter that especially when they are far from home

      The hotel staff is top-notch. I stayed a few different weeks for work and each time I checked in or went for breakfast or dinner, they remembered my name and greeted me like an old friend. I appreciated that since staying for a week in a hotel can be hard. I want to especially thank Emily and Latisha, the am breakfast "crew", Samuel, bartendar and evening server, Kevin, all around guy - he was everywhere, Christie and Jake, front desk staff always served me with a smile and Amy, Sales Director who made our reservations and stay so easy. I also want to thank the hotel cleaning staff who didn't come in my room while I was there but it was clean and well stocked each and every time I checked in and whenever I saw them in the hallway they always greeted me with a smile.

      Liked that the breakfast Buffett was open - really have missed that during the pandemic! Friendly staff! Walking around outside the location had a good view of the night sky and could see lots of stars. Room was clean and ice machines were in convenient locations! Wanted to get in the pool/hot tub, but didn’t have time… everything was good! Definitely would recommend for anyone.

      We had planned to spend one night here before a 6:15 am flight, but a once in a lifetime winter storm resulted in a four night stay. The hotel has a great staff, comfortable and quiet rooms, and a good location for airport travelers. I cannot compliment the staff enough during our stay. One thing that guests should be aware of, the hotel restaurant is only open from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm due to covid. I had turned in my rental car, so leaving the property for a meal was limited. There were some prepared breakfast items at the front desk. The only other food options is in the concourse food court which is inside the secure area of the airport. A helpful TSA employee suggested we ask for a gate pass from our airline which we did. You can also go through security if you have a boarding pass. The hotel restaurant was good, but we were looking for a little variety since we were stranded for four days. This hotel is a great option if you have an early morning flight and wish to stay at the airport.

      Extended Stay America Suites - Huntsville - US Space and Rocket Center

      I want to first start by saying I tried really hard to be understanding and look past a dirty floor because we all make mistakes and miss something however. It did it in for me when there were bugs in the tubs, the bed, floors were filthy and had stains, the toilet had hair and dirt on it from the previous stay, there was soap rings left not little stains like thick ones where the shower had never been cleaned. I wanted to shower just to feel clean and knew we were only staying for one night but after we got back to the room with dinner take out and I got in the shower to clean off and then I grabbed a towel that felt like it had never been cleaned and was brown it did it in for me. Especially during a time of covid we left after two hours and went up the road to a hyatt. We The manager who checked me in that morning was very nice and accommodating when I made a mistake on my reservation which made me really want to power through staying here but I couldn't. It was past the point of my comfort zone. She did refund my money which I'm appreciate of but no one should have to walk into a room like this. I loved in an extendastay for two months before and it was nothing like this.i wish I had gotten a picture of the bugs in the tub but I had to yell at my husband to go and kill them.

      Clarion Pointe Huntsville Research Park

      Stayed 1 night here and it was just ok nothing really special but not a very bad place either.I booked this place online because I was under the assumption that this was more of a 3 star property because of the name Clarion Pointe. When I arrived It dawned on me that I remembered I had stayed at this property in 2007 when it was still a Hampton Inn. I guess the switch to Clarion lowered their standards, but anyway, when you pull up most of the rooms are exterior with some interior corridor rooms in the back. I got an exterior corridor room. The room was a little musky, had a very damp odor to it, the toilets kept backing up. Rough-looking characters skulking around durning the night outside, most of their clientele is Construction workers and Truckers, and are mostly single men, don't think I even saw one female traveler my whole short stay, would not recommend a lone female traveler stay here. Area is shady at night, and rooms are not very secure, and feel very open. They do have an outdoor pool and a Very Good Breakfast, the breakfast was the highlight of my trip here. This place used to be pretty decent when it was a Hampton Inn, but Its not very good as a Clarion. I personally am fine with staying at a property like this, but I would not recommend this place for women with children.

      About an hour or two after checking out following an overnight stay during my family's drive to Florida, I realized that I had left my leather jacket behind in the room. I was driving, so my wife immediately called the office and was told that they had my jacket and would hold it for me until I could pick it up on our return trip. Long story short, I didn't end up retrieving my jacket on the way home. However, Constance, the woman that my wife initially spoke with, was extremely helpful and worked with me in having it shipped back to me. The reason for four instead of five stars is that the room we stayed in had a musty smell that, although I didn't notice it, irritated my kids' allergies.
