|2.41km from city centerDidn't know what to expect, I booked one night. Boy, how regretful I was. Wish I stayed longer. Bed & pillow were super comfortable. And the surprise? BOLSTER...! I immediately feel at home & indeed, I slept like baby. AC was okay, but the hot water pressure was consistently great, and it made my ritual of hot shower before going to bed perfectly kept. One thing I noticed is how the attention to detail is given to ensure the cleanliness is kept around the clock. 4 times I went to the public toilet and the seat is ALWAYS dry and clean. Yes, I have an serious case of OCD & yet I can't fault the cleanliness. Although a bit dark in Reception desk, Putri the receptionist is always eager to assist. The others need to learn from her professional hospitality attitude. Lobby is small but functional. The Hall meeting room is spacious. My meeting arrangement was easily accommodated and professionally well taken care of by Freshi Moreno. A big thank you for extending your flexibility toward my changing meeting arrangement need. Breakfast selection was varied & satisfying but the group's loud chatters turned off my appetite slightly. Location is great, rate is affordable but at product this good it should've fetched a few more rupiah. Concussion: Stay here. Period. Highly recommended.

Mr.Asad (Receptionist Staff) was one of a very helpful, polite and fast to respond.What a very good job. The room was fantastic, it was great to be able to walk into a clean, spacious room and go straight to bed without worrying about a thing (Thankyou for the housekeeping team). Breakfast choice was fantastic. Recommend the traditonal foods. Will stay again for my business trip next time..cheers.

The rooms are quite spacious, towels, toothpaste and drinking water are provided. There are glasses, teapots and tea, etc.
I ordered 2 rooms. 1 room is really okay. 1 room is missing. The towels were musty, the water in the bathroom was very small.
Overall, for a budget of around 200 (the price when I booked) it's okay.

|1.26km from city centerI found this hotel to be great for a budget traveler like me. I booked it through agoda.com for a discounted price. I stayed two nights which was a good experience. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is strategic because I could get access to public transportation right in front and to food vendors when I was hungry. The facilities like lifts, toilets, etc in the hotel are excellent. Room's space is good and comfortable. The only non-positive comments from me are: no breakfast included because of the discounted price. I had to pay extra Rp50,000 for a small plate of fried rice and two slices of bread and a cup of coffee. I could get better offer with that 50,000 outside the hotel. Anyway, no big deal. I can further say that for one person only. I also saw women's hair underneath the bed. I guess they have not cleaned the room properly yet. Overall, the experience is good. I still recommend this hotel to other travelers.

|8.16km from city centerA pleasant surprise for us when visiting Surabya. Though it is located at West Surabaya, a bit far from where our meeting was, the trip is worthwhile. All about this hotel is just right, from the service to all the hotel facilities are great (maybe since it is still quite new). I would say this Westin in Surabaya is even better than the one in Jakarta from all aspects. We booked the suite which is amazing and the standard room also quite nice, though we dont get to have the premium coffee and ferragamo soaps. Union around corner opened till 2 AM and the hotel is attached to the largest Mall in southeast asia (from what I heard). However, I have not really used all the hotel facilities and I skipped the breakfast (because I was way too full from prior night meal). The only thing that a bit bother me is the blind installed in all the bathroom including in the suite room, where it is very noticable it is wrinkly and not properly installed. A bit crack inthe almost perfect experience. However, i would still rate the hotel 5 star for everything else.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

|0.55km from city centerWhen I was in Surabaya a few weeks ago, I tried to stay here because I saw their rooms separate between the women and the male rooms. They provide a single capsule with shared room or a double capsule with private room. There are 8 capsules and 3 small rooms. They are quite unique because they are each different from each other. One contains a shower, one a wc, and one contains a shower, a wc and a sink. Less? Obviously. But they also provide toilets outside the room on every floor. This hotel is perfect for short stays in Surabaya because at about 150 grand you can get a comfortable capsule, private TV in the capsule, easy access to the city center, free wifi, and you will also get breakfast and mineral water facilities. free for every guest. A little note that can be input during my stay here: 1. No phone in the room. So if you need anything, you have to go down to the reception or call the number that is already listed in the capsule. 2. There is no place to hang towels outside the capsule. It is not possible to hang a towel inside the capsule because the capsule itself is small and closed. And finally during the night here I was forced to hang a towel in the bathroom and it caused a bad smell in the morning.

|4.32km from city centerWas lucky enough to be upgraded to Executive Club for my 14 night stay and must admit we made the most of it. Breakfast cooked to order, afternoon tea, 6pm wine and great choice of cooked eats, cheese, cakes/puddings etc which meant we didn't need to go for dinner. Room was good with modern tv with lots of channels and enabling smartview from mobile/tablet (internet was strong throughout hotel). Bathroom was great with fantastic showers and a bathtub which filled quickly. Bed was huge and comfortable, blackout curtains and subtle lighting to enable sleep at any time and aircon worked perfectly and quietly. 3 restaurants on site for the odd night we fancied straying from the executive lounge. Restaurants were a little expensive perhaps but it's a 5 star hotel so to be expected. Pros: Good rooms, strong internet, great showers, Executive Club - OUTSTANDING staff/customer service in all areas of hotel and unbelievably charming staff. Cons: Desperados bar in the basement had good live music but was very disappointing (best avoided unless you are in a group).
