The hotel room is very small, especially the design of the sink is very ridiculous, it is very inconvenient to wash your face, but the bed is very comfortable, the surroundings are quiet, the traffic is convenient, and you can sleep for a night on a short trip. However, the reception staff at the front desk is very poor, especially the Chinese who have poor English attitudes may be worse, or it may be caused by cultural differences. Some of our habits are not consistent with Westerners, which causes many misunderstandings. Normal communication, don't imagine that there is no problem with enthusiastic service.

Super five-star hotel, take a free ferry from Central Station 10 minutes to the North Shore, enter the NDSM Art District, 10 minutes to the hotel, a total of only three rooms, are independent, very refined and comfortable, super vision. From the top to the top of the night, you can take photos on the tower crane, which is very exciting, the only crane hotel in the world.

I was shocked when I went to breakfast.! A bunch of small bugs around the fruit are flying! A huge fly of salami and bacon stopped on the meat.....The dessert cake is also a variety of small bugs. I have never seen such a bad breakfast buffet in a hygienic environment!

This was about the only hotel within the area proximity I wanted that wasn’t costing an arm and a leg and had a lot of positive feedback. It was pretty helpful that a free shuttle was provided so it made the transition from the central station to the hotel much easier. I am not sure how guests of certain races are treated at NH Amsterdam but upon arrival at the reception area the person attending to us was trembling for dear life. I guess perhaps being non-Caucasian might posses a threat or maybe it was her first day working there. I really can’t be certain, but it really isn’t a good look if the receptionist can’t get her job done without shaking like a leaf when handing the paper to sign, when taking ones credit card, when handing the keys etc. The room was pretty comfortable, we were given one with a balcony on the second floor which was nice because the view was pretty amazing. Overall the room was clean but a little more attention can be paid to the bathroom. The hair dryer cord was very dusty. It is also pretty difficult to understand the heating system at the hotel. We only figured it out the last night being there, so our room was cold for the majority of our stay. Considering it is winter time, it would be nice if the housekeeper after cleaning, would keep the room warm and not have the ac on cold. We would always returning to a freezing room. The location was by far my favourite as it was only an 11 minutes walk to a train station. Getting buses to get around was not a problem and there was the added bonus of the shuttle. However, we getup and out pretty early and the shuttle doesn’t commence till 9am. The stay was a pleasant one and I would probably stay there again, as the negatives we encountered can be fixed I am sure.

We loved our stay at YOTEL Amsterdam. The room was amazing, and had all the facilities for a very good stay (big shower, chromcast, wifi, airdryer...). There was some noise during the night, we called the staff and within two minutes they made it stop. The location was good, a bit far from the metro. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend!

The location is very convenient. It is 100 meters away from the hotel. It is a free ferry. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the Central Railway Station and walk to various attractions. It is very convenient. The type of breakfast is not bad. The only downside is that the room is too small, after all, it is a cruise ship. But in Amsterdam, where accommodation is expensive, it is also cost-effective.

Our group booked this hotel via booking.com and I must admit I looked at the reviews on trip advisor after it was booked and panicked. Firstly, it really isn’t half as bad as people are making out. Rooms are relatively clean but the towels are a bit undesirable. I found it weird that they left our dirty towels on a chair but replaced them in the bathroom only to find that the clean ones smelt so we used our previous ones. If you can bring your own towel I would recommend this. Also, the bathroom is a wet room so when one person takes a shower the whole room is soaked! As there were four our us sharing this did become a bit of an issue. However we were only using this hotel as a place to rest our heads so it really didn’t bother us too much. Arriving there you need to catch a metro or get a free ferry across and then it’s about a 20/25 minute walk. To get to the metro is much easier so use that! We arrived quite late back most nights and found uber was so much easier getting back. There’s a spar and a subway real close by to grab water and things, a vending machine if you are caught short and lovely coffee from the hotel in the mornings. I felt the staff were a bit blunt with us to be honest but it was a busy weekend and a large group, however a smile wouldn’t have gone a miss. I would use this hotel again though but if you are planning on using the hotel room for more than just sleeping then I would encourage you to look elsewhere.

Booked an 8 bed room (4 bunks) for a stag group from the UK. Location - No where near the centre of Amsterdam. From Centraal Station take the free ferry over the river which departs every 5mins. The journey takes less then a minute. Then a 25/30min walk to the hostel through a 'sketchy' area. Arrival - Main door was locked. Knocked a number of times. 5mins later an Asian man answers the door telling us to 'chill out' with the knocking. No apology. Stepped inside to be hit with a strong smell of a Pakistani curry house/corner shop if you get my drift. Overpowering. No reception. Stood in the hallway, he asked us to pay up €24 City tax before handing the key over. One key between 8 of us for the room & main entrance. Advised checkout was 10am. Room - The 8 bed dorm wasn't actually too bad. Clean bedding and the whole room was pretty comfortable and clean. All you can ask for at the price you pay. Shared shower room with 2 showers and only 1 toilet cubical for the whole floor. In summery. Rooms not too bad but the location is awful. Would definitely pay a little extra to stay closer to the centre. Tip - If you want to get an Uber/Taxi to the centre then ask to go the ferry terminal rather than the station on the other side of the river. The ferry is free. Will save you €10/15 in a taxi fare.

I have recently stayed at Pontsteiger during my visit to Amsterdam and wanted to share the review with the rest of the world of what to expect when you go there. The hotel's location is in a very nice spot next to a huge canal. However, the hotel itself is on the Ground floor so when you see its picture on any website do not get confused by thinking its all part of the hotel. Hotel is on the ground floor and the rest of the floors are an apartment which is not under hotel. So do not expect or hope to get rooms on higher floor. The hotel can be reached by bus from Amsterdam Centraal Station. From the bus stop its walkable distance. The charges for bus is 3.2 Euro each way from Central Station. You. need to find the bus stop on Amsterdam Central which is on the other side of the station and not on the city side. You will walk up through the escalator and go to stop G and catch the bus from there. The details are available on the hotel website and quite accurate. The reception. is on the left side of the building when you approach it. In fact, the reception and the restaurant are in the same place so please do not try to. enter any of the buildings which say entrance here. Most of the rooms do not have they are completely closed with the only glass (not a window because you cannot open it as well) to the corridor of the hotel area. The rooms are completely closed. no external ventilation. Some of the rooms have views but that is not very evident with any of the booking sites unless they clearly say "room with a view". Some of the rooms have a huge round pillar (here in India we call it a beam which supports the structure) inside the room itself which makes it very inconvenient to sit on the bed next to it. Amenity wise you have free internet, coffee, kettle, bath accessories, etc. If you need plates and other crockery you can ask the hotel staff and collect it from reception. They are good to provide them to you but they do not have enough staff to send it to your room so please be mindful of that. Personally I found this hotel to be costlier than others considering the features and overall stay experience. In case you are traveling for business, it is better to stay near the airport at hotels that allow you to travel through the hotel shuttle and costs much cheaper. The food delivery from deliveroo or ubereats charges you for delivery as well, in case you decide to order food at the hotel.

It is also a new time to play in Amsterdam. It is economical to travel alone, but also to be safe and clean. I also want to chat with strangers. I simply realized the idea of staying in a youth hostel when I was young. The city freedom is a little expensive, eat a nutritious breakfast for 15 euros-live in a normal hotel for 150 euros, analyze my personal preferences and budget, or save the hotel money properly, use the hotel Money is enough in Amsterdam for two days ... By the way, there are problems with card swiping in this place, let alone cash, I found my sister in Germany for 500 Euros and took it away. When I came to this hostel, I first felt that the surrounding environment was good in literature and art, and the youngest and most fashionable Holland ~ This youth hostel should be opened in a building of an art institute, and there is an eye museum with a beautiful scenery (I think it should be a newcomer) Part of the punching ground is still under construction, but it is quite standard.) The room is clean and the traffic is convenient. Needless to say, it can no longer be convenient: the airport can take a train to the Central Station for 20 minutes and come out to take a free ferry. Friends who arrive by train don't even have to buy a ticket to cross the train station. Take the ferry and go straight to the hotel. The question about the ferry at the beginning of the word B is actually very clear and marked. The hostel facilities are everything, and there are bars in the evening. I drank a lot of beer at the bar and the bartender was very handsome.

When we arrived the room was completely decorated for a Pre-Birtday feeling and a handwritten card for the staff! The Spa was lovely and the lunch was creative and made with passion. Location is close to the best part of everything in Amsterdam and if you want to stay in the hotel you can relax and do absolutely nothing and recharge. thank you so much for everything this weekend TEAM BOAT&CO! Rent a two-bedroom apartment, the family of three is just right. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. Around 300 meters, there is a supermarket, as well as a car rental company, and there is a paid parking lot in front of the door. We stayed for one night, made a meal, and washed the clothes. Quiet, tidy, it is recommended.

Although the Chinese are in business, they have not taken into account the Chinese. The breakfast is pure European style, the bathroom is too small, there are no washing supplies, not even a glass cup. We often travel on business, and we will bring personal items, but we did not expect to bring cup. Wanting to sing a sip of water, the waiter said to turn on the tap and drink it by himself. But the wash basin was too small, and my mouth couldn't get water. I want to rent a car. The hotel cannot provide any business cards. I hope the hotel can improve and support the Chinese operation as a Chinese. It's best to add one boiled water and two glasses

Staying in Amadi for three nights, a very good experience, first of all, the hotel security makes you feel at ease, the second room is very big, it is a real big bed, the bathroom facilities are excellent, the shower is big, and there is a free coffee bag in the room. The tea bag and the beer drink water in the small refrigerator are also free. The third view is first-class. The sea can be seen from the room. It is very eye-catching. The fourth service is good. The front desk is patient and thoughtful. There is a feeling of going home, the fifth traffic. It is very convenient to get to the hotel from the train station on the 26th tram line. Yes, there is free fruit at the front desk every afternoon. It is a Western meal for breakfast.

Transit in Amsterdam, one night stay is required. The hotel is in a special area near the airport. All hotels are inconvenient for public transportation. There are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, but there is a free shuttle bus to the airport every half an hour. There is public transportation from the airport to the city. Hotel facilities are complete, normal European level, rooms are large and beds are soft. The front desk was polite but not enthusiastic, not sure if this was true for everyone.

After the check-in, I encountered a series of problems. The front desk arranged people to help me solve the problem. The service was very good. My suitcase is broken, and the hotel is looking for someone to help me get it. Then the skinny is too slippery to open the door. The front desk is looking for repairs. I can wrap the tape on the handle to facilitate my access and the hotel steak is super delicious.

This check-in is a business trip. The three of them stayed in three double-bed rooms. The hotel is located next to The Hague Central Railway Station and can be reached in about five minutes on foot. The hotel is very convenient for transportation, and it is also adjacent to the business district. There is a Chinese restaurant downstairs. The scale is not bad. The owner is Hong Kong. There are about a dozen floors in the hotel. There is no specific number. On each floor of the elevator, there is a basket and fruits, including kiwi, beer, banana, orange, apple and so on. Breakfast is quite good, full range, clean and healthy, yogurt is especially recommended to try, there are three flavors. There is a Chinese Malaysian duty manager at the front desk, who can barely speak Mandarin, speaks fluent Cantonese, and has a good service attitude. The rooms are clean and hygienic, with large windows designed to provide panoramic views of The Hague. In addition, it is no exaggeration to say that the bed is the most comfortable one since I stayed in so many hotels, it is really particularly comfortable. It ’s rare to give a five-star hotel, but anyway, this stay is worthy of five-star praise

From the location,to the decor to the friendly staff, this is your no nonsense address in Amsterdam and at excellent rates. I checked in for the last few days of my trip to The Netherlands which would take in Amsterdam. If you have heavy suitcases then I recommend a tram from Amsterdam Centraal to Rembrandtplein which is just a few stops away. Remember to buy an Amsterdam Travel card which allows unlimited bus and tram travel for 1 to 3 days. Enquire at the iamsterdam office opposite Centraal Station. At Rembrandtplein, exit the tram and cross over to your left. Walk straight down until you are opposite The Amstel and turn left and walk for not even 5 minutes ! The Bird inspired decor in Reception, the lifts, the rooms and even the ground floor washroom is awesome ! The toilet based next to the lift is better suited to those of large build as the room toilets are placed in such a way that a bigger person can not use the toilet properly. There are souvenier and convenience stores nearby as well as Halal fast food. The hotel offers free canal cruises and/or bicycle loan. The cruise is not operational during the pandemic. There are free sweets, tea and coffee in Reception as well as maps and discount coupons. The star of the hotel is the charming Mr Poo ! I will be back !

What a beautiful room and warm welcome! Staff was very friendly. All the hallways smelled amazing, the entrance was super beautiful and happy, and there was a very relaxed and happy energy feelable. There were a few downsides that were not so bad, because what the service we got for that price was amazing. The sheet under the top bed sheet was quite dirty with bits of chicken crubs on it, and the white sheets got some stains. The kitchen and the rest was super clean, there was an oven and kitchenware to cook with. I’m allergic to chemicals, so the surprise that they had organic hand soap and shower & hair soap was amazing, and the smell is amazing! Super cool that for this price you get such quality. The view was just looking out on an empty building, so not particularly nice, but will do for next to a train station. A fee lamps were not working in the room, so we could in the early morning (6am) only turn up the very bright blinding lights of the whole room to see something. They had a roof top terrace that we only quickly visited, but the weather did let us enjoy it. If the weather is good I can imagine it would be lovely to sit there in the sun 🙂 Very satisfied and will defenitly visit again when in the area 🙂💖

The week that we planned to visit Amsterdam coincided when the Netherlands went into the 2nd phase of lockdown which meant no restaurant or bars were open. It was a close call between Yays and an airbnb which was more in the centre of the city. We were very fortunate to pick Yays in the end, as everything was closed we really got to spend a lot of time in the gorgeous apartment. The staff had 1st class customer service, great knowledge of the Netherlands, very professional but with a great smiley sense of humour. The apartment was very spacious, included dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine, kitchen area with hobs, microwave / oven. The living room area had a double sofa-bed plus large TV for when we wanted to chill after our long walks and the bedroom has more than enough room for the two of us and the bed was really comfy. Location wise it's about 25 minutes from the centre by bus or a 15 minute cycle if you prefer. Yays Entrepothaven Concierged Boutique Apartments comes highly recommended and I would definitely stay there again.

We feel very lucky to choose this hotel. We had booked our trip to Amsterdam months ago, but now this is not possible due to Corona. We had a non-refundable reservation with a fixed date. We had paid for everything to have a carefree vacation. Now we can not go, and we were afraid to lose all that money and still have no vacation. When I contacted the hotel, they were very understanding. They said even for our non-refundable reservation we would be allowed to reschedule our booking so we can still have our vacation later this year. This is really wonderful, a big thank you to the hotel staff for their help in this difficult time.

We arrived to the hotel at our check-in time and was checked in quickly. Our room was on the fourth floor as was a "Quadruple Room with River View". There are four beds in the room, but they are put together in two's to maximise space. There are four windows in the room looking out to the river, providing a lot of natural light. However, the curtains our blackout to keep out the street light at night. Windows are not soundproofed, so you can hear the traffic/outside noise. On the note of soundproofing, you can hear the floor above you also if the guests in the room above you are moving about you can hear this as they move around. It wasn't too much of a bother for us, but something to take note of. Our bathroom was nice and stocked with fresh towels (replenished daily) and amenities. We found a leak in our sink on Day 1 we let reception know this on our way our for dinner in the evening and by the time we went out for the evening and came back, this was fixed. The beds were very squishy, due to a memory foam topper. It wasn't too my liking so much as it made it difficult getting in and out of the bed. The topper also kept sliding off the divan (though movement) and we had to push them back on multiple times. A/C worked perfectly and the description matched accurately for the room. The hotel is very close to Central station and is a short walk from the main centre.

We booked a triple room. The room was quite large and provided free tea bags and an electric kettle. The water bar in the hotel lobby also had free coffee milk hot water. Shower gel shampoo body milk shower cap provided, toothbrush slippers not provided. The shortcoming is that the room is not powered without a card, the heating is not running, and the heating is installed on it, and the warm air has not come down, but we stayed for one night and the quilt was relatively warm, so we did not find the hotel front desk.

Temporary change from The Hague to live in Amsterdam, the booking is relatively hasty, because it is a chartered car, did not care whether the city or convenient transportation. The advantage is that the room size is large and relatively new. There is a 24-hour canteen in the lobby, in addition to simple snack drinks, bread pizzas, coffee machines and ice cube machines. The rest is all shortcomings. Do you want to give more water to the bottle? You can go buy it below. Can I borrow a conversion plug? We don't have it. You can go and ask if there is any sale. Can I borrow a bottle opener? You can take it yourself and go to the restaurant bar to find them. The next night I went back to the room and found that my own children's bath towels were taken away. The surrounding area was very biased. Next to the furniture store, the nearest supermarket had to walk for ten minutes. There is a light rail nearby that is estimated to go to the city of Amu. Experience general, self-driving or chartered can live, it is not recommended to go shopping and eat.

Great hotel and friendly staff. We arrived late on a Friday night and had booked a room for 4. We had no expectations for the room as it was so cheap but were pleasantly surprised. The room was on the first floor and was huge with 4 comfortable beds, a seating area and a very large en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. The hotel was centrally placed opposite a park and a canal in a quiet leafy location. A fabulous cafe bar (Smit&Voot) was 20 steps away - which served great food and snacks until 1am. Being a girls weekend away we didn’t make use of the hotel’s dining facilities but they had a warm cosy dining room and served breakfast @€10 until 10am. Checkout was a relaxed 11am and, as we had a late flight home on Sunday, we were able to leave our bags in a locked room after checkout until returning at our convenience to collect them. Great location, friendly helpful staff, clean airy room and very reasonably priced. We will be booking again for sure!
