I will never stay at La Quinta or any Wyndham properties because of my horrible experience at the Las Colinas location. Jay is unprofessional, insensitive and a joke for a manager. Long story short, we found a beer bottle top and a clump of hair in two different beds on what should have been a clean room upon check-in. We also found a bug and more clumps of hair on supposedly clean towels. I attempted to address the issue several times with promises to clean our room and address our bill upon check out; neither of what happened. Jay refused to take my calls or return my calls until I called corporate, which turned out to be a joke as well. The only solution offered from Jay and "corporate" were points to use for a future stay. Not an option for me after the way I was treated. Supposed account manager Linda from corporate office tried to lecture me, gave me false information on how to further with my case and hung up on me. Andred/Amrid (not sure if he even gave me the correct name) another supposed manager from corporate was rude, insensitive, didn't listen to me or try to help me and hung up on me. If President CEO Geoff Ballotti of Wyndham is okay with this type of customer service then SHAME on him. To be treated like a second class citizen by everyone I interfaced with during this process attests to the poor expectation the Wyndham brand places on it's employees and their lack of customer service; and the core values of Integrity, Accountability, Inclusive, Caring and Fun that Wyndham claims definitely fell short for me and my family.

Due to storms over DFW I missed my connection at 10:00pm and needed a place to crash for a few hours before my re-booked flight in the morning at 7:00am. I foolishly didn’t look up the reviews prior to booking this on the airline’s recommended “site” for accommodations. This is one of the scariest places I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting - the front desk attendant was nice enough but this is clearly a place where people live permanently as well as rent by the hour. Filthy doesn’t BEGIN to describe it. Non-smoking room that smelled like smoke and filth and possibly previous corpses. Did not feel safe whatsoever. I stood in the middle of the room only long enough to book another place and get the heck out of there. Returned the keys to the front desk and caught a Lyft to the Westin across the freeway for triple the price. Worth every penny to wash the Oyo off me. Gross. Avoid at all costs.

Me and my friend stayed here for 7 nights as we were attending Wrestlemania, but also wanted to visit the DFW area.
Airport Very simple and straight forward arriving in DFW from the UK. If you aren’t driving like us, you can either get a cab to the hotel, or hop on the Dart and get off at the Urban Center station. Once you’re at the station give the hotel a call and they’ll send their shuttle bus to collect you.
Hotel in general The hotel was very clean and well maintained. It has a small shop inside which is reasonably priced compared to the 7/11 next door lol
Hotel Location There are plenty of bars and restaurants within 15 minutes walk of the hotel. But further afield you can head into Dallas or Fort Worth by train or cab.

Hotel Room A basic room but very clean, and had everything you’d need for a stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the air con worked very well thankfully due to the heat! Wi-Fi The Wi-Fi was fast and stable, and allowed me to keep in contact with my family back home.

Staff
I mainly dealt with the reception staff, who were all lovely. The housekeeping were always visible and everything was spotless. Shuttle Bus Will take you too and from the local area up until 10pm. We used this for the first 2 days to get a footing in the area, then once we knew where we was we walked to most places.
Local Area There is a canal and Lake you can walk around which is really relaxing in the morning. Do yourself a favour and visit The a corner Bakery and The Ginger Man in Las Colinas, and also Nosh & Bottle and the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema at the Music Factory. However all the people I met in the local area were awesome so do check out as much as you can. Wider Area Not too far from Dallas where there is plenty to do. Either a couple of dollars on the Dart or around $18-$20. There is plenty to do in Dallas which is well documented, but if you get the time please do go visit Fort Worth and get down to the Stock Yards. A taxi from Fort Worth though is higher though at about $35-$40.

All in all... I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone. If you’re visiting Dallas, I’d say stay here so you’re close enough to visit but can retreat to a quieter area. Book an extra day or two as well to take in the wider DFW area.

outstanding service. Staff genuinely caring. Helpful and friendly. Great location close to the airport (they offer a free shuttle) and to various restaurants as well as shopping places. Even a Walmart is across the road. Surprisingly quiet (good noise insulation) and in the room I had on the 4th floor the air-conditioning was very quiet too. Large rooms with comfy beds. Nice bathroom. Renovated. Great price. Served breakfast due to COVID. Usual choices. Nice staff. Definitely highly recommended. I will be back. Exceptional value.

I have been to bad hotels, and my experience at this hotel was the worst. My stay was the night of Wednesday, June 1, 2022. I had to stay because my connecting flight in Dallas was cancelled. To begin with, when I arrived, the receptionist was speaking Spanish to the shuttle driver, and when it was my turn, I addressed her in Spanish (which is the native language of both of us), and she simply refused and addressed me in English at all times. This is not a problem as I speak English, but I found it unnecessarily rude. The worst happened after 9:30 pm. There was a flood in front of my room turning a pump for 2 1/2 hours, then next to my door they put on some dryers that were on all night, plus the workers were shouting at each other. I spoke to complain, explaining that the guests had to rest because the flights were leaving very early, and I even asked if they would change my room. The response was that 1) no one but me was complaining, 2) they were going to continue with the drying procedure until at least 11:45 pm or whatever was necessary and 3) they could not change my room. I asked them to explain how I could file a complaint, and they told me to look it up through booking and that in any case, if I was not comfortable, I could go to another hotel (it was already 12 am, and it was impossible to get another place. I am a reasonable person, I understand that if a pipe broke, it is not in the hands of the manager; however, he has an obligation to resolve the matter in favour of the guests, besides the fact of not answering in the majestic way he did. I just spent the night with no sleep at all. I feel robbed. A case apart, the state of cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms is deplorable. In short, I WILL NEVER STAY IN ANY HOTEL UNDER THEIR FRANCHISE AGAIN. THIS NOTE WILL BE PUBLISHED IN THE BBB CHAPTER TEXAS AS I HAVE ALREADY REALIZED THAT THIS IS THE ONLY WAY THAT SOMEONE FROM THE COMPANY WILL ADDRESS THE COMPLAINTS.

Let me just say I don’t often write reviews especially for business related travel but this has probably been the worst business trip stay in over 20 years of business travel. While I had stayed here for a few nights previously and didn’t encounter any issues, this stay was quite different. First I was given a room with a non-functioning shower. I called early in the morning and was told the repair guy would be up. After an hour and a half I could no longer wait any longer and had to get ready to go to work. I ended up having to reach back out to the hotel during the day to find out the status and I was told that the repair person was at another property (sure makes me feel like a valued Hilton guest). Then it couldn't be repaired and I would need to moved. When I returned last night, i stopped to pick up a new set of keys and had to pack up and unpack into the new room. The front desk person said I ended up being moved to an entirely new floor because apparently they were concerned that there are a bunch of rooms in that floor are having problems. Then I find out late last night the hotel has no hot water and had no idea when it would be repaired. Apparently it had been known for a while but nobody informed me when I picked up my keys. Upon going to my room then I also find out that the air conditioning unit in my new room was non functional / had no power (so much for the move to the new floor to a room without problems). That made for an extremely uncomfortable night. Wake up this morning to find there still is no hot water and no repair estimate. How can a hotel not have a service on 24 hour on call??? I waited as long as I could but had to check out today not having been able to shower in the 2 plus days and another bad night of sleep. Apparently the upkeep and maintenance in this hotel is severely lacking considering all the issues (shower, HVAC, hot water) shared between two rooms and what I was told about other rooms.

There are no reviews on the Internet, the price is expensive, the room facilities are average, tasteful, and the area is small. Breakfast is simple biscuits and cold drinks. There are many Indians and Mexicans, and there are few people wearing masks during the epidemic. When I contacted the front desk for airport pick-up, the accent at the front desk was too serious, and I didn't listen carefully to the designated place to wait for the bus. Finally, I realized that I was waiting in the purple courtesy van. When I went to the hotel, I saw that the front desk was Indian. In short, if you have a lot of money in your pocket, it is not recommended to live in this house.

During an extensive renovation we moved out of our house and chose Element DFW Airport North as our temporary home. During our first visit manager Janina clearly outlined the type of room we would have, costs, housekeeping, and hotel amenities - we were sold and happily moved in on Jan. 31! Her entire staff was warm, welcoming, and supportive of our displaced lifestyle. We grew very fond of all of them - Calvin, Judy, Gilberto, Benji and others that I'm sure I missed. Throughout the Texas snowstorm disaster, they managed everything with a professional manner. Housekeeping did an excellent job, the entire property was always spotless. Social distancing and masking requirements were strictly adhered to which was a great relief. This team led by Janina clearly goes above and beyond for each and every guest! Will highly recommend to Dallas visitors - or anyone who is going through a remodel!

There was no mention of the pool being ripped out and filled in on Trip.com or on the hotel’s website. All still had pictures advertising a pool. However, we arrived to find we had no pool to enjoy. That was THE reason we chose this hotel. Disappointed is an understatement. The beds were the hardest beds I’ve EVER slept on. I would probably have done better on the floor, that’s how hard the bed was. The rooms were decent. Nice upgrades, but the housekeeping leaves a little to be desired. I would say this hotel is average at best.

We stayed Easter weekend. It was fully booked and lots of parties happening with loud music in their rooms. I asked the front desk to ask them to turn their music down but it never happened. The girl working the front desk on Easter morning was the rudest person. It was 15 mins after breakfast was over and she would get me anything even though it was all sitting out. I asked for cream for coffee and she wouldn’t even get me that. All the other days everyone did AFTER breakfast hours. Also, there were 3 basketballs there when we got there. Then the same staff member I had issues with told us that they didn’t have any, that people never returned them. I snuck and looked when she wasn’t there and they were sitting behind the counter. I will stay at the other location next time.

This is a chain hotel. First of all, I feel that Ctrip's customer service gave me the ShuttleBus to pick up the shuttle bus for free. The hotel has a free airport shuttle to pick up and drop off. When I first arrived in the United States, I called the hotel. I didn’t hear the specific bus ride for the first time. I didn’t connect after the second call. I didn’t connect for 4 times. Finally, I helped me through Ctrip’s manual customer service. I only know where the shuttle bus is. Thank you very much Ctrip customer service! I have to pay a deposit of dozens of knives every night, pre-authorize the card, 8.31 check-in 9.1 check-out, 9.4 deposit has not been returned to me, so it is not clear how long it will be returned. The rooms are in good condition. American hotels do not have slippers and toothpaste toothbrushes. You need to bring your own. The room you live in may be right next to an air-conditioned machine, and there is a roar in one night.

I am a commuting airline employee. I frequently stay at this location--several times a month throughout the year. The customer service here is impeccable. The staff is top notch. They have become like family to me. Bright, shining, welcoming faces who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued. Omar, Sundip, Bradley, Megan in the Byrn Grille. Stellar folks. The entire front desk--Lilly, Gailea, my girls--every one of them--always taking care of me with positive attitudes and absolute sincerity--even helped me during a family emergency (thank you, Kassandra). The airport shuttle crew--the best dispositions--they greet me by name and are always there to retrieve me within 15 minutes of requesting a pick up. Whatever customer service training and hiring practices this particular Westin uses should be the Gold Standard for the entire Marriott collective. The Westin DFW is my home away from home and I cannot commend the staff enough for their authenticity and commitment to customer service.

Return to the hotel in Dallas. The transit hotel is less than 15 minutes away from Dallas International Airport. Because it is not a hotel-only car, it is commonly used by several nearby hotels. Therefore, you must make a reservation with the hotel front desk in advance. Correspondence at this location is inconvenient. The airport is very difficult to communicate. Ctrip has a small butler service. The service is attentive, but if you can ask the driver to wait at the door of the passenger's arrival point, it is the best hotel service.

I booked a room through Expedia. Checked in around 5:30 pm and left to get dinner and groceries with my family. We got back to the hotel around 10 pm and went to the room. There were bugs crawling all over the a/c unit and all around the bath tub. My wife and kid refused to spend the night so I returned the room and booked at Fairfield down the street. The receptionist at motel 6 said he could not process a refund because we were already 20 minutes past check in and told me to call Expedia to have them handle the refund request. Expedia tells me they have to get a hotel manager to approve a refund and have not been able to get ahold of a manager at that location. I decided to call Motel 6 to speak to a manager and every time I get a response, "the manager has not shown up for the day yet" or "the manager has just left".
