|2.1km from city centerThis is my first trip to Pangkor Island. I had book this hotel last minute in Agoda after I bought the ticket for last ferry 7.15pm from Marina to Pangkor. I had choose this hotel because I had see the review is not bad with 5star review for all the review in year 2020 and they rank 5th for overall best hotel in Pulau Pangkor. When I arrive at the hotel, there is nobody there for me to do the check in. I am thinking the staff maybe out to buy or having their dinner. But after a while 2 of the staff is back in the property and told me they are not expecting any guest so they went out to buy dinner. After thinking a while, it is not surprise as they not expect anyone today. First I only do the booking not long ago so they may not had received the email from Agoda. Second, today Malaysia recorded the highest day for people infected with Covid-19. As this 2 reason, they sure will not expecting any guest for the day. But this not concern me at all, because I am having great time while staying at this hotel. Below are all the reason which I will highly recommend this hotel to who had read my review here. 1. The hotel rate is reasonable. The room is chalet/villa type which the room rate is cheap. 2. This hotel had been newly renovated so it is cosy to stay. Please do not read any review before year 2020. They had renovated the hotel in 2020, all the furniture is new and the stay is cosy. 3. The staff and management is very friendly. They will assist you in what they can. 4. There is a fews bicycle to use for free at the hotel. 5. The location is very good. Walking distance to the Pasir Bojak Beach. And there is a lot of Chinese and Malay restaurant nearby. (Fully recommend “Chao Seng Seafood Rstaurant” nearby) 6. There is a few motor bike or car rental outside the hotel which for sure will be convenient for you to ride around the island. (Recommend to take a bike and you can ride the bike for island tour) I feel so relax and happy for my 3d2n trip while staying at this hotel. Will come back to stay here for my next trip to Pangkor Island again. Again, Tripadvisor had not disappointed me when I am searching for a hotel stay to a place which I am not familiar. I hope with my review I can make this property to more higher ranking so that everyone will be happy to discover this hotel.

The receptionist is extremely nice & helpful but the room size is kinda smaller than expected. Bedsheet is full of stains even though i requested to change another new one.. Wifi is only available at the lobby area only...

|2.06km from city centerDidn't know what to expect and since I booked late, I ended up choosing this hotel as it was located at the popular Pasir Bogak beach. I have not heard of the hotel (it is brand new). However I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We were welcomed by the hotel owner himself who was running the hotel himself as the hotel has just opened a month ago. This is a 2.5 / 3 star hotel but very comfortable and offers excellent value for money. Take note that this is a new hotel and there are some work is still going on. For example when we visited the restaurant is yet to be up and running and a few external work still going on. Also taxi drivers don't know the hotel. You can mention that the hotel is right next to the school at Pasir Bogak. Pro : 1. Value for money 2. Located right at the Pasir Bogak beach (2 min walk) 3. Clean, safe and well equipped 4. Excellent and high-quality fitting and furniture 5. Good aircond 6. Very friendly and helpful staff 7. Indoor swimming pool (the kids loved it) Cons: 1. Rooms are a bit small for families 2. Some fittings are missing (simple things like racks, hangers, etc) - but the owner assured it will be taken care.

Personal is very friendly and helpful and every time go there feel great !
Location is less than 10 mins walk to Coral Beach but just across the road has other beach too .
Nights are quiet and nature and hills are just at your room windows...
Very clean and beautiful rooms ! Definitely I will always come back here when come to Pangkor!

|1.43km from city centerI am very happy that this resort has upgraded the facilities..there are many difference from the day that i have check in two years ago..the bed,the furniture condition were all upgraded..the kettle also had be given this time..aircond functioning well..the food and bbq that i enjoyed here also pretty awesome..the main point here is the room is big and the resort are walking distance to the beach..the staff also very nice..i had a good time staying here..and also thanks to the owner for doing a good job in upgrading the resort to looks better and to made us(customer) happy..i really recommend this resort👍

I suggest Tatami give access to the nearby small gate or else guest need to walk soooo farrrrr. Room is quite small for 3 adults. overall is good. Food at vending machine downstairs need to check for expiry date.

|1.07km from city centerWe loved everything about the resort. The huts were clean and lovely with little balconies. It was right on the edge of the jungle so the view was amazing. But you have to be aware of the monkeys. The bed was big and comfortable. The owners were super friendly and helpful with everything. Nipah Beach is not a nice and quiet place like we assumed but this resort definetly saved our trip. We slept better than in any other hotel on our 4 week trip through Malaysia.

The room served us a beautiful mountain view, with spacious clean room and the grand touch of wood floors. Mr Ragu (the host) was a wonderful man. He gave us a lot of information regarding the best food to get in Pangkor as well as places to visit. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a quiet retreat and its located at Teluk Nipah ,the most happening place in Pangkor.

Suitable for d working families, may be not for d rich families (no daily cleaning, no room service). X expect romance, our room was in front of d pool, so it was family noisy at peak hours, but we're typical Malaysians---it didnt bother us. (request upstair room n far from d pool, if u want peace) 1 minute walk to d beach and street food + souveniers. Hotel food is cheaper than street food. Air cond + heater was okay. Tv-x okay (but I hv my google chromecast and personal broadband, I used my own subscription flixes)

I was welcomed and shown around and my scooter was ready for me to discover the island. My room was basic but good enough. The outside area where guests can enjoy a drink looking at the life on the sea was pleasant. The guesthouse is located in the Chinese village and you can discover the laid-back life style of the Chinese community, the shipyard, the anchovies factory,...all at walking distance. I had a nice one night stay. Yet, I have been quite disappointed by the island itself having so little to offer. One night was enough.

Guests here too adhere 100% to Covid-19 standard of procedure. Really appreciate that. Provides free shuttle to tourist attraction Teluk Nipah for varieties of seafood and night shopping. Hotel has very scenic and instagramable restaurant overlooking the turquoise sea. Seafood fried rice is recommendable. Chicken Chop needs more improvement and passion. Overall food is nice too. Staffs are friendly
Set back of this hotel is air conditioning and beds are quite worn out and the sea is full of rubbish that washed up the shore. Perhaps the management could clean its beach as no other hotels shares its beach. Practically they have the peaceful beach all by themselves

We stayed in the chalet 13 and all was excellent as: great mattress, bed linen, hot water, powerful AC, water pressure, small fridge, kettle, good WiFi. Room was sparkling clean and very spacious. Welcome was kind especially by a local Uncle (which I do presume is the Owner). Definitely recommend this place. By the way we are also Hoteliers in Malaysia. Thank you for this nice experience.

|1.37km from city centerTeluk Nipah has a malay majority crowd. Stayed here for 3D2N. During our stay, I think we were the only handful of chinese family around this area but it was fine. The locals here provided great hospitality. The overall check-in & out experience with this resort was great. Helpful boss & staff with efficient services. Plates, bowls, cutlery & a bread toaster were available for use with a hot, room & cold water dispenser. Loved the cold AC & high water pressure in the bathroom. Stayed in the room at the far back of the resort.....a couple of small set backs would be the insufficient video signal which caused color distortion on the TV program and room could use a remake due to aging although overall, the entire resort is very clean. In short, it's still a great stay. Worth returning.

|1.89km from city centerYou get what you paid. I booked and stayed at Bayu Villa with the beach view for 3 nights. At first I personally didn't put a very high expectation on this resort because of the rate was relatively cheap. But to my surprise I found my stay was pleasant and satisfying. The Bayu Villa was spacious and the bed was comfy. However they need to refurbish the room interior and put an extra afford to ensure the cleanliness of the room before letting the guest check in. From my personal point of view, this resort is for a lower or middle class guest and if you're a type of so called classy guest and expecting a perfect getaway, please do not book this resort. But if you're a simple type and just wanted to enjoy the pool and the beach, I am highly recommended this resort. I spent my final 2 night having a dinner at their coffeehouse and I was really enjoying my meals eventhough it was very limited choices from the ala-carte menu. Here are my comments on things to improve 1- Please enhance the pool cleanliness, there were a lot of beach sand inside the pool. Maybe because there are no restrictions or regulation of swimming attire by guest. 2- Please improve the Wifi signal quality especially for Bayu Villa area. 3- Improve on the breakfast choices and menu. Overall, for the price that I paid, I am satisfied.

|1.7km from city centerWe have just completed a 6 night stay at this lovely hotel and can thoroughly recommend it. We were allocated room 62 which was everything we wanted, very spacious with a big bed and a strong warm shower. It also had a front facing balcony with a sea view. A big than you to the cleaner who serviced our room very well, it was always immaculately clean and smelled very nice. The breakfast choice was just right, a egg station was available for choice of eggs, there was also a noodle station and my favourite...Roti Canai. The staff in the dining room were quick to clear tables and all the food tasted nice, so thank you to the chefs and the staff. The reception staff were always available and very pleasant, it was also good to have a permanent security guard at the front of the hotel, he was always smiling and helpful, a very nice man. Thank you for your assistance with our luggage and helping us park our motor cycle etc. The hotel also has a very nice swimming pool and loungers, with towels available. So really it ticks all the boxes for a great stay and the nightly price rates are very reasonable. I can highly recommend this hotel.

We had experience a hit and run on our crental car parked outside the property. The man only told us to park at a vacant area nest to another hotel/resort when we complained to him. He was happy like a jerk to note that our rented car got hit and only then said we should not park outside his property by the roadside.

Didn’t had much expectations before we arrived the place, but after stay everyone felt not leaving the place. Resort is very well maintained, clean and neat. Rooms were cleaned well and are in good conditions, understood most of the rooms were refurbished and all well maintained . Aircon was super cool. All rooms had smart tv with good wifi connection. We had all meals in the resort- 1 dinner , 1 lunch and complimentary breakfast. Dinner and Lunch was arranged for our group for the items which we asked and all items were adequate quantity and tasteful. Thanks to chef Haidi and team for taking care. We all liked the food served. Resort is currently understaff due to pandemic and they are slowly increasing staff, however who ever were available took care each one of us. Thanks to William and team for the hospitality. Beach near resort is clean and there are water sport activity available which we can enjoy. Pool is also good and kids had a gala time. Will definitely love to be back in future.

|1.84km from city centerThis hotel is very close to bogak sand beach! Just walk for about 2 minutes, and can directly reach the beach. The hotel is spacious, the pool is also available for children and adults, around the hotel there are food stalls that are very easy to access, the distance from the main pier to the hotel also takes about 5 minutes by taxi.
And if you're lucky, you can see some hornbills perching on the coconut trees inside the hotel. I was lucky to see 2 hornbills playing on a coconut tree.
Disadvantages of this hotel, cleanliness and cheerfulness. Cleanliness 5/10. In our room, there are only 2 lamps that work, it can be said that 80% of the remaining lamps are not working. There is also a television, but there is only one broadcast. The room smells a bit musty, maybe because the carpet in the room has not been cleaned for a long time.
Would I stay here again?
Probably yes.
Would I recommend to my friends?
Probably yes.
