Breakfast is good, after all, the breakfast at the European hotel is relatively simple. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the Prato train station and convenient to Florence. There is a jogging track near the river, and the scenery is natural and pleasant. The parking lot is free and there is plenty of parking.

For breakfast, you have to add money to the fried boat, suitable for bringing children. The location is not bad. There is a supermarket next to the parking lot. The most important thing is that there is a bank next to it.

This hotel was booked by a company I am working for, so I am sure it was booked purely on price as we were quite a large party. I understand that any business coming out of lockdown has a hard job on its hands, but on entering my room, I did feel it was necessary to wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes as everything was quite dusty. Some of my colleagues were unhappy with the cleanliness of their rooms. Following my initial clean down, my room was tidied daily. Wifi is poor, except in reception which has nowhere to sit and work, so if you are here on business, you don’t have any privacy to get work done. Continental breakfast is okay, but I cannot think of anything good to say about the cooked food, except that I have lost weight because I have not eaten very much. We are not allowed out of our bubble, so we have not been allowed to eat elsewhere, but if you can, I would. I have been served undercooked pasta five nights in a row, which tastes of salt, then meat and fried potatoes, which again tastes like it has been preserved in salt. Day 5 and the vegetarians in our group are stiil being served meat which could be considered quite funny, but they were not impressed. Although the staff are very apologetic, it is then replaced somewhat later with a greasy omelette which looks extremely unappetising and lonely on its plate but the soup is okay. They didn't have any sauces or gravy to serve with the food at the beginning of the week so the food tasted very over cooked, salty and dry, but we did get gravy this evening, so it has improved a little. I have been craving some vegetables with my dinner but greasy Salty eggplant is the only option. Oddly, mixed veg is served at breakfast. They dont really understand dietary requirements, so if you are ceoliac, best not chance it. I maybe doing the catering staff a dis-service, because they may have been drafted in from a different occupation, like myself and just doing their best in difficult circumstances. Catering is clearly not their forte. Everyone seems friendly enough.

The people who work at this hotel couldn't be more kind and helpful. I spent six days here for a conference at the Monash University Centre in Prato (a short walk away), and the staff helped me with everything from printing documents to recommending restaurants and working out my onward travel plans. Every time I came down to the front desk I was greeted by someone with a warm smile and sense of humour. While the rooms at the hotel are basic, they are comfortable and clean, and conducive to a restful sleep. The location is excellent - convenient to both the town centre and train station - and the price is reasonable. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. More options and a bit of imagination would have improved the experience considerably. Overall, however, I very much enjoyed and appreciated my stay, thanks to the wonderful people who work here.

Beautiful place to stay in charming Prato. We were a few couples attending a conference at Monash. Each couple had a room with a private bathroom. Kitchen, living room, and patio are shared. The place is clean and spacious and the patio is fantastic. Alessandro is the owner and was very friendly and helpful. He recommended good restaurants in Prato and Florence. His wife owns a cafe in town where they make the best biscotti you'll ever have. There were complimentary biscotti and pastries, and a nice little espresso machine in the kitchen. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Prato!

This nice hotel is located in the historical centre of Prato, a few minutes walk from the famous cathedral with beautiful frescos and other historical places. Moreover it is ten minuets a less walking from the train station. The host was very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was nice, the breakfast and WI-Fi good. Everything is nearby - shops, restaurants, musea. The rooms are of different size, we had a very spacious on with renovated and big bathroom. If you are a light sleeper inform hotel management beforehand, as some rooms have windows on the street with traffic. The first day there were construction works on the street, rather noisy. However it says nothing about the hotel itself. The owner took the trouble to go to the workers and ask when they stop working.

The worst staff I ever came across. Who gave them this rating? Firstly, teach them how to talk to customers. We are paying to enjoy and not to crib. Total waste of money. The food quality is very bad as well.
