If you buy various souvenirs, you can return to Naha Airport at the next station. I felt it was a convenient hotel. The entrance was elegant BGM in the shape of a city hotel, and the front desk service was very polite. The food is not allowed to be brought into the room (PET bottle beverages can be brought), and all take-out meals must be taken in the lounge on the front floor. Coffee and water are provided free of charge in this lounge. This time, there were few users and the accommodation floor was carpeted in the whole floor, and the footsteps were almost unconcerned for the cabin type room (accordion curtain partition). It was comfortable. Okinawa is a scenic destination wherever you go, so if you divide the scenery from the room as unnecessary, you can realize that it is the best choice to suppress accommodation costs.

The dormitory is very cheap, but if you need privacy, I recommend choosing a twin room. You can also rent a bicycle. You can use the microwave, toaster, kettle, tableware, and refrigerator in the large shared space, and you can buy juice and beer from the vending machines. Wi-Fi and a computer are provided. Yes the hotel is dated but we were blown away by the warmth and sincerity of the staff. Our wifi failed to work in the room originally assigned to us and we were given an upgraded room with sorted all that out. The breakfast is vast and delicious, not what I would expect for its tariff. What also impressed us was how the reception assisted us with the booking of our cab to the airport the night before and that the driver was already waiting outside the lobby the next morning. As this is our wedding anniversary trip with our baby, the hotel also left us lovely cookies and a note to commemorate the event. We stayed at some beautiful resorts up north okinawa but none offered this level of service we received at Smile City. Thank you for wrapping up our anniversary with so much warmth and care!

Although Naha itself is very built up so kind of just like any other nondescript Japanese city albeit with interesting vegetation, it's a convenient location with lots of food options. The condo itself is right next to a Shell gas station with an adjacent Family Mart. There are 3 apartments per floor at this rather new-looking 10-storey building and the reception is downstairs from 9 am -7 pm plus a number to call outside these hours, very courteous with badly translated English instructions. We stayed 10 nights and room was scheduled to be cleaned every 3 days. Room key also opens the door to trash/recycle area outside. Basically you get a 30 m2 studio apartment with a spacious balcony where you can see the ferry terminal and a bit of the ocean & a small dining space plus all the amenities, new and spotlessly clean with a washer/dryer & shower/bath tub. Everything you can probably think of is provided, including cooking utensils & a separate washlet toilet - even Netflix on TV! AC & WIFI work well although you can also get a SIM card at the airport vending machine to help you navigate the small streets with Google Maps: 4000 yen for 10 days unlimited data or 3500 yen for 1.2 GB over 30 days. Our double bed was comfy but quite narrow, barely any movement possible for 2 adults - manageable for us but definitely think twice if you're a bigger couple or maybe consider twin beds. Very quiet inside. Less than 15 minutes to walk to Kokusaidori 国際通り shopping street with loads of shops (24-hour Don Quijote + drugstores) & restaurants but also plenty of enticing eateries within a short walk from the condo スマートコンド泊. Naha Main Place mall サンエー那覇メインブレイス , which has Cinemas Q & Tokyu Hands + LUPICIA tea, is under 20 minutes on foot. Closest beach might be Naminoue Beach, 25 minutes on foot. It's just a 5-minute walk to Tomari Port ferry terminal とまりん where you can get to the Kerama Islands in 50 minutes (Zamami highly recommend) or Tokashiki Island in 35 minutes - best check JMA website for potential high wave warnings. About 10 minutes to walk to Miebashi monorail station to the airport or Shuri Castle. This condo is best if you're planning day trips to the surrounding islands and don't mind walking a bit to the main shopping areas. Buses are fairly convenient with stops written out in romaji/English. 40 minutes / 600-650 yen by bus to American Village from the port - lots of buses go by the stop out front. Chinese Didi app works for taxis too (70 yen per 365 m plus 560 yen for the initial 1.75 km; can pay by cash if no Chinese ID). If you are not driving, there's a Hip Hop Bus / Jumbo Tour office (M-F 9-6 or book online) 10 minutes away where you can book daytrips for under 6000 yen & the closest pickup spot is 'Okinawa Kariyushi Urban Resort Naha' 沖縄かりゆしアーバンリゾート・ナハ next to Tomarin, basically the same building, but pickup is actually closer to the park.

I stayed for a night in the female dormitory. There is a flight of stairs up to the dorms but the staff kindly offered to help with it. Password is required to enter the dorm. The linens were already on the bed, which was enclosed by a curtain. There was a night lamp, electric sockets and 2 hooks in my bunk bed. A locker is provided which managed to fit my 26 inch suitcase. A towel and slippers can be found in the locker too. The shower facility was clean, with toiletries provided. Water ran hot quickly with good pressure. The common area outside the toilet had hairdryers, but the area was a tad dirty since people weren't really cleaning up after themselves. Soundproofing is non existent so this may not work if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, I highly recommend for the good value!

I arrived half an hour before the checkin time as I had activities to follow, the front desk staff was really nice and found me and my family two cleaned up rooms and allowed me to check in a little ahead of time, this really helped us a lot. The hotel also gave us two welcome drinks per room at the bar on the top floor, which had a really nice view of Naha.
The valet staff are also very considerate and got our car prepared at the times that I requested with no waiting.
The breakfast was decent with ample supply. Overall I’m very satisfied with my stay and would certainly re-visit when I go to Naha next time.

One of our main reasons for choosing the hotel were: It's location - it's located at the end of Kokusaidori and the main tourist area in Naha It's amenities - lots of child friendly points such as five free nappies per day, free rental toys, large area in the reception with free sweets and soft drinks. Due to COVID measures, there was no daily room service so we had to change rooms after three days. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The pool was nice and the staff were helpful. There are a couple of points that I think could be improved The rooms were a little worn, and could be a little freshened up. In addition there were some two coin laundry machines, but as we went during Golden Week there were constantly in use. Often, other customers would just leave their laundry in the machine for quite a long time (I waited for 30 minutes once, my wife waited for over 40 minutes). It would be great if there would be some sign or staff to advise customers to be more curtious to other customers. I noticed that there is a notice that there was another coin laundry around 5 minutes away from the hotel, but this isn't the most convenient thing to do at 23.00 in the evening. Anyway, it was a nice experience to stay here, and thanks to the Hotel Ocean staff for their hospitality.

Loisir is a great transit place, if you have a car, or any other occasion when you don’t look to span much time in the center of Naha. The location is quiet and peaceful.
Note, that if you looking for gym, then the hotel has very minimal equipment, mostly for cardio workout. It would be helpful to have a bench and weights.

Please be reminded that there is no reception on its own, and there is no elevator, so visitors with heavy luggages or have inconvenient using staircase have to consider.
An early luggages deposit request was made before, but there is no place for us to drop-off until we met a staff later by chance.
Overall, it's a pleasant hotel and I enjoyed the stay.

|1.49km from city centerStayed for 5 nights with young daughter to enjoy couple of relaxed days. Hotel is located in downtown Naha, it however still provides kind of resort feeling with their beautiful garden incl. outdoor pool & onsen: all really nicely arranged & great facilities ! Rooms are rather basic, more like Japanese business-hotel, but overall sufficient and with modern & fresh decor. Breakfast could actually be of bit higher quality & possibly more food options, also plastic plates give sort of cheap feeling, sorry. (Suggestion: change into „real“ plates inside and rather provide „plastic“ glasses & mugs for outdoor area which will also help to avoid broken glass issue at pool...). Other than breakfast, no further F&B offering, but can enjoy free drinks (incl. beer) and ice cream all-day ! Mostly impressive and really appreciated is their kind & attentive staff from various countries ! All interaction with them (prior to arrival via phone, personal during check-in / -out, front desk for questions & inquiries) was always pleasant, professional & supportive ! To name a few: Mr. Henry, Ms. Okabe, nice lady from Philippines (all front desk) and also nice ********* lady serving ramen at night: thank you & please keep up the positive spirit & motivation ! Overall nice new hotel option in Naha and will surely consider to return for both business & private stays !
